Today's Word 01-24-25 You Are God’s Choice

Nobody, and I do mean nobody doesn't like your early
body praise party. I am Sherry Mackeye at his time
for today's word, You're God's choice first Samuel sixteen seven says,
But the Lord said to Samuel, don't judge by his
appearance or height, for I have rejected him. The Lord

(00:20):
doesn't see things the way that you see them. People
judged by oward appears, but the Lord looks at the heart, y'all.
David was the youngest son of Jesse. He had a
history of being underestimated. Of the age sons of Jesse,
David was not only the youngest, he was the smallest.

(00:42):
He was considered the runt of the litter. When the
prophet Samuel came to annoyed one of his father's son
as the next king of Israel, Jesse didn't call him
in from the shepherd's field. He considered David less than
his brothers, not strong enough or experience enough, and basically
not good enough his own father, now Jesse's oldest son,

(01:03):
now eli Ab. He was tall, he was strong, he
was muscular, he was attractive, he was in the military. Oh,
he looked like a king. Even Samuel thought he was
the perfect choice, but he wasn't God's perfect choice. Hello, somebody,
see God loves to choose the underdog, the least likely,

(01:24):
the one that other people write off. David had the
heart of a king, which made him God's choice. Eliab
went on y'all to belittle David and try to make
him feel small in front of some of the other soldiers,
and David could have easily been distracted or talked out
of what God put in his heart, but he refused

(01:45):
to let others determine his value. Where you got to
do like David did and let your heart be fully God's.
You'll have the heart of the king, and only he
can determine your value, and he already says that your
value is above rubies. Remember it doesn't matter what others
think of what other people say about you. You are

God's choice. Father, God, Thank you that you are not
limited to seeing us as other people see us. Thank
you that you see our hearts and you know our
faithfulness to you. God. We declare that we will not
allow how others treat us or what people say about
us determine our value or our self worth. Thank you

(02:31):
God that you choose us in Jesus' name. That's your
word for today. Take it applied to your everyday life,
