Speaker 1 (00:10):
Matthew four nineteen says, then he said to them, follow me,
and I'll make you fishers of men. You know, one
day Jesus saw Peter casting his net into the Sea
of Galilee and called him to be his disciple. Peter
was not a religious leader. He wasn't a synagogue priest
or a man of faith. He was just a poor fisherman.
(00:30):
He wasn't refined or dignified. As a matter of fact,
he was hot, tempered, reckless, and use bad language.
Speaker 2 (00:38):
Y'all think about it.
Speaker 1 (00:39):
Jesus already knew that Peter would deny him three times.
Yet God chose him to be one of the twelve
disciples who would.
Speaker 2 (00:47):
Change the world.
Speaker 1 (00:49):
Why Peter, Because Jesus could see that in that poor, disadvantaged,
quick tempered, uneducated fisherman was somebody who could shake and
change the world.
Speaker 2 (01:00):
Was a history maker.
Speaker 1 (01:02):
We're still talking about Peter today, aren't you glad? That
God looks.

Beyond our flaws.
Speaker 1 (01:09):
He looks beyond our failures, our weaknesses, and he sees
the master piece that we can become. He can see
that we will change the world. The enemy would love
for us to go through life feeling inferior, focused on
our weakness, is way down with regret, feeling guilty from past.
Speaker 2 (01:26):
Mistakes, condemned and ashamed.
Speaker 1 (01:28):
But Jesus calls us to leave our nets and follow him.
Don't you dare let negativity or anything in your past
limit your life. You are who God says you are.
He says you're a masterpiece. He says you have greatness
inside of you. He says you're destined to leave your
mark on this world.
Speaker 2 (01:49):

use you.

like Peter, that the world could consider less than are useless.

you did in Peter's, and regardless of our past mistakes.

And failures, you will use us for your glory.
Speaker 1 (02:10):
Moving forward, God, we'll look beyond our own flaws too.
We'll forgive our own says. After we've repented to you,
God will forgive ourselves for our failures. We'll begin to
see ourselves as a masterpieces in the making that we're
