Today's Word 09-10-24 God's Transfer

Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's your early boy praise party. I am Sherry Mackie,
and it's time right now for today's word. God's Transfer
Genesis forty one forty one says Pharaoh said to Joseph,
I hereby put you in charge of the entire land
of Egypt. You know, Joseph was taken to Egypt and

(00:21):
spent a combined thirteen years y'all in slavery and prison.
He had no influence, he had no resources, no future
to speak of. And get this, he hadn't even done
anything wrong. But you know what, he kept doing the
right thing when the wrong thing kept happening to him.

(00:42):
But you and God was with him. The day finally
came when Joseph interpreted Pharaoh's dream, and just like that,
Pharaoh put him in charge of all of Egypt. Joseph
went from no influence to the highest influence, from no
resources to being in charge of all of the food

(01:03):
supply of Egypt, and he provided his entire family with
a place of abundance in which to live and thrive.
What happened God's favor a transfer. And here's the deal.
Part of the people that he blessed. When he blessed
his family were the same ones that landed him in
prison and slavery. Let me encourage you today. Don't judge

(01:28):
where you are as where you're going to stay. Make
sure that you keep bitterness and unforgiveness out of your eart.
God has some transfers of influence and resources for you.
These transfers require obedience, They require honoring God, They require
doing the right thing when it's hard. There will be seasons,

(01:48):
just like it was with Joseph, when things that are
not fair keep happening. Nothing seems to be changing. Don't
you get discouraged. Your time is coming. It's gonna happen suddenly.
It's gonna be out of the ordinary. You couldn't have
made it happen, even if you tried. It's the hand
of God. It's the favor of God. It's a god transfer.

Oh Father, God, thank you that what so often looks
like trouble, Lord said back in our lives, really is
your hand moving us toward our purpose. Thank you that
what's unfair is going to push open doors and bring
transfers we could never experience without it. Help us, God
to be patient while you work things out in us.

(02:29):
In Jesus' name, Now that's your word for today. Take
it applied to your everyday life, and you can see
