Speaker 2 (00:36):
How are you?
Speaker 1 (00:36):
Good morning?
Speaker 5 (00:37):
I'm good, but my day started off with a huge disappointment.
Speaker 1 (00:40):
So I'm just gonna throw this out there. This is
a PSA for any other like cute cup girlies, swag
girlies like me. Today is Red Cup Day at Starbucks,
right what it is? It is?
Speaker 5 (00:50):
And they are also releasing this viral barista glass.
Speaker 1 (00:55):
Oh really, so I put it on my calendar. I'm like,
so hype. November sixth, the barrista comes out.
Speaker 5 (00:59):
You know, when I leave for work, I'm like, I
can pass Starbucks literally at the exact moment they opened, Like,
I treat myself to Starbucks once a week I'm like,
I can be in there at four point thirty.
Speaker 1 (01:08):
In the drive through, it's.
Speaker 5 (01:09):
Usually just me, so I'm like, yay, I'm getting my
barrista today.
Speaker 1 (01:13):
I pull up. The parking lot is full.
Speaker 5 (01:15):
It looks like a staff meeting is going on inside
the Starbucks. There's three people in the drive through and
I pull through and there's a man coming out and
I could see he's got the barrista.
Speaker 1 (01:25):
So it's a glass like bear shaped cup. He's got
like a little beanie on, it's got a straw. It's
like the cutest cup ever they released today. He's got
one in his hands. So I'm like, yes, they got him.
I'm good. Roll up to the drive through. She's like, yeah,
we got one, and it just sold.
Speaker 2 (01:40):
Shut up.
Speaker 1 (01:41):
Was so disappointed. They got one Barrista cup at my location,
one and I didn't get it.
Speaker 4 (01:49):
Why even send one?
Speaker 6 (01:50):
Right?
Speaker 5 (01:52):
I was so mad because I saw this man walk
out with it, and I just really hope that he
got up in the middle of the night to buy
this for his wife or his girlfriend.
Speaker 1 (02:01):
And he's not selling it on eBay.
Speaker 2 (02:04):
This afternoon's it's already on Facebook Marketplace. I'm sure that
is crazy to me that they're going to say one.
Speaker 1 (02:11):
Yeah, one.
Speaker 5 (02:12):
So if you're trying to get that Barrista cup today,
don't get your hopes up.
Speaker 2 (02:15):
That's my point. Wow. Or if you have one and
let us know and we'll buy it off you, we will. Apparently, God,
I didn't know it was that big of a it's
a huge deal.
Speaker 5 (02:23):
I mean people were everywhere at this teeny ninety Starbucks.
Speaker 2 (02:26):
That I go just for the Barristers cup where I
just don't get things.
Speaker 1 (02:31):
And it's just hype, but it's so cute.
Speaker 4 (02:33):
But I like the hype, Like I'm all into the
hype and the boo.
Speaker 1 (02:36):
Boos and I want to use it. It's so cute. Wow,
my dream was shattered.
Speaker 4 (02:41):
Can I'm sorry.
Speaker 2 (02:43):
If we can find you at Rista cup, we got
our own Pooh Bear. We can have a Pooh cup.
That sounds bad, I'll just go get a solo cup
and make you.
Speaker 4 (02:56):
We got McDonald's at home.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
Yeah, I don't our parents to say that, oh, we
got a Barrista come at home. I'll make you one. Can, Well,
I'm sorry that happened. Producer Poo is here with his
solo cup, and.
Speaker 6 (03:12):
Yesterday I spent the afternoon with my little sister Morgan.
You know, she's finally a doctor, and we went and
met with this photographer because she's doing her graduation doctorate pictures.
And then we went shopping. Dude, when's the last time
you went shopping, Billy? We mean for one, just for clothes,
because I don't know what to wear for her for
(03:33):
these pictures.
Speaker 3 (03:34):
And she wants to do like this photo shoot with her.
Speaker 2 (03:37):
Yeah, well, she's.
Speaker 3 (03:38):
Gonna do her own, and then me and all my
sons are gonna be in there too.
Speaker 2 (03:41):
We're gonna be cute.
Speaker 3 (03:42):
But I don't know what to I don't even know
what to get.
Speaker 6 (03:45):
I'm like, what's the theme, And she was like, bro,
you we gotta find something nice.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (03:51):
I haven't worn slack.
Speaker 2 (03:52):
I mean I have the last Okay, first of all,
if you ever call him slack, Grandpa, if you ever
call them slacks again, why do I look at that
picture pood going to church. Ain't some slacks and loafers.
I got my slack, some I pressed them. You just
(04:16):
wear like a nice polo shirt and some jeans or
I don't know what to wear to your sister's that
you like.
Speaker 1 (04:22):
To wear with your nice shirt.
Speaker 4 (04:24):
You can't wear the vest.
Speaker 2 (04:25):
I can't wear.
Speaker 6 (04:27):
Winter vest because my sister brought that up. She's like,
I hate to tell you this, but don't wear that vest.
Speaker 3 (04:35):
What do you talking about?
Speaker 6 (04:36):
She's like, you always wear that blue vest with a
nice bolo underneath.
Speaker 2 (04:40):
That is a good point. They're like, where do guys shop? Like,
we don't know where to go to shop?
Speaker 1 (04:46):
Question.
Speaker 2 (04:47):
I mean maybe Cole's, Amazon, Macy's.
Speaker 1 (04:53):
Yeah, try those at them all like old school? Yeah,
I know, yeah, through there.
Speaker 4 (04:58):
Just go through, Like I went to the gallery the
other day and just walked around.
Speaker 1 (05:02):
Yeah, how was there yesterday?
Speaker 2 (05:03):
You were? Yeah? So was I?
Speaker 1 (05:05):
Oh what after the show?
Speaker 2 (05:07):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (05:08):
Oh I'm how to make returns at Lululemon and Saphora.
Speaker 2 (05:11):
Oh early Christmas, Billy I was just at Mekosinis tough
stories on the tents with Billy's.
Speaker 5 (05:19):
A kid in the morning only on the New Mix
one or two point nine.
Speaker 2 (05:23):
Not so much going on this morning? Canislow pez what's up? Well?
Speaker 5 (05:25):
The FA has announced it'll be cutting air traffic by
ten percent at forty major airports. This could effect about
thirty five to forty five hundred flights a day starting Friday,
as this government shut down forces air traffic controllers to
continue working without pay. It's been more than a month
at this point. Most of these controllers, like we've said before,
they've been working six days a week, putting in mandatory overtime.
(05:49):
But DFW Airport and love Field are on the list
of airports that will see service cuts, So this is
all going to be done.
Speaker 1 (05:56):
In phases over the next few days.
Speaker 5 (05:59):
Most airlines are telling customers stick with your original plans
and then we'll immediately notify you of any changes.
Speaker 2 (06:05):
I know, yeah, yeah, great, okay, so you'll cancel my
flight last minute, right, thank you appreciate that.
Speaker 5 (06:10):
Yeah, what a fun way to gamble on our travel.
Speaker 4 (06:13):
Yeah, but you know, this is so awful travel.
Speaker 2 (06:15):
It's expensive enough, and then you've got to worry about
your entire flight and trip getting canceled because we aren't
paying air traffic controllers.
Speaker 1 (06:23):
Right, it's unbelievable.
Speaker 5 (06:25):
Some of these airlines are offering refunds if you want
to reschedule or cancel, so check with whatever airline you're
a customer of. But most experts are saying this is
going to be mass chaos, major frustration for travelers and staff.
Speaker 1 (06:38):
I mean I can't think of, you know.
Speaker 5 (06:40):
Anything worse this time of year than to not be
able to, you know, continue with your travel plans.
Speaker 2 (06:45):
So if you're going to a major city, I'm sure
they're not going to be cutting those flights. If you're
going to New York, if you're going to La Chicago, whatever.
But I bet if you're going to like, oh, I
got to take a flight to Boise, yeah, you might.
Speaker 3 (06:56):
Not have it.
Speaker 1 (06:56):
Yeah, I mean, who knows. I don't really know what
to expect.
Speaker 5 (06:59):
We'll start to see you know a little later today
and of course into the weekend, but you know, by
next week they're saying this is going to be a major,
major problem.
Speaker 4 (07:08):
Well and guess what we have to fly next week?
Speaker 1 (07:10):
Yeah, for sure, So heads out, guys.
Speaker 2 (07:12):
I'm more worried about the people who aren't getting paid though, yeah,
you know, like the air traffic controllers are are military
men and women, the vets, yep, And like let's figure
it out. Government, whatever side you're on, get your life together,
and let's come to the table and start making things happen.
Speaker 5 (07:28):
Hopefully this will you know, prompt you know, some action
sooner than later.
Speaker 1 (07:32):
But yeah, we'll keep you posted.
Speaker 5 (07:34):
The McKinney IIC school board just voted to close three
of their elementary schools before next school year.
Speaker 1 (07:40):
So this includes C T.
Speaker 5 (07:41):
Edens, Arthur H McNeil and Earl and Lottie Woolford elementary schools.
The goal here is to fix over crowding in the
northern parts of that district and declining enrollment in the
south and central areas. So a committee formed by the
district there says they found home prices in the southwest
part of McKinney they've gotten so high so many families
can't afford to live there, so that's part of the
(08:02):
reason there's a decline.
Speaker 1 (08:04):
And enrollment there.
Speaker 5 (08:05):
The district is saying those staff members affected will be
guaranteed a job somewhere else in the district. But this
is something we seem to hear about once a week,
you know, this district.
Speaker 2 (08:15):
That one yeah, another school closing the other, whatever happening.
Speaker 4 (08:18):
Cannice, Can you give me any good news.
Speaker 1 (08:22):
Unprecedented times? You know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (08:25):
Yeah, go ahead, can well?
Speaker 5 (08:26):
Unfortunately, this next thing I wanted to tell you about
is upsetting for boy band fans.
Speaker 1 (08:31):
We're going to get to all the good news in.
Speaker 5 (08:33):
The show Okay, So there were rumors earlier this year
that an n Sync movie was in the works.
Speaker 1 (08:38):
It's a biopic. Well it looks like that is a
no go.
Speaker 5 (08:43):
So each member, you know, is under separate management because
of different reasons. But the story is that Justin's manager
brought the idea to the producer of Fast and Furious,
but after meeting with him, the rest of the group
was not down with this. Apparently, the movie would only
happen if they decided to do a reunion tour, which
is something Justin isn't ready to commit to. So InSync
(09:05):
fans are like, stop with the back and forth, Like,
at this point, I'm just over it. It's not happening.
Speaker 1 (09:09):
I'm done.
Speaker 4 (09:10):
It's never gonna happen.
Speaker 5 (09:11):
Ken rabsb for all the success that they're doing and
the cruises they take it Wow.
Speaker 1 (09:16):
Vegas show.
Speaker 5 (09:16):
Because they're managing to have success doing this in a
good time and the fans are happy.
Speaker 2 (09:20):
I just don't get why Ensin can't get it together
because they would be at the sphere.
Speaker 4 (09:25):
Yeah, they would be doing the residencies.
Speaker 1 (09:27):
You would be there to Vegas, you would move to Vegas.
Speaker 4 (09:30):
No, but you would be so excited but In sinc excited.
Speaker 2 (09:33):
Well, now it's they've waited so long at this point
that now Justin's dealing with health issues. Right, so now
who knows, Like you said, if it's ever gonna happen.
But oh, it had been so incredible. I just wanted
the Backstreet Boys and In Sync to go on a
massive tour together. Yeah. It would have been a stadium
tour that everyone would have freaked out and absolutely loved.
Speaker 1 (09:53):
Yep.
Speaker 4 (09:54):
But instead JC can't get his ego in check.
Speaker 3 (09:57):
Nope, at JC.
Speaker 2 (09:59):
See.
Speaker 1 (09:59):
Sometimes other times I hear it's Justice.
Speaker 2 (10:01):
It's not.
Speaker 4 (10:02):
Well, I'll tell you who it's not.
Speaker 2 (10:04):
It's not Lance, no whatever, No Joey.
Speaker 4 (10:07):
You know Joey's down for whatever.
Speaker 2 (10:10):
Oh yeah, it's Chris.
Speaker 3 (10:12):
Chris.
Speaker 2 (10:13):
I love Chris too. Ye, Chris is my favorite one.
Speaker 1 (10:16):
Because it has always been down.
Speaker 4 (10:18):
He's just having a few drinks and living his best life.
Speaker 1 (10:21):
When he had the braids back in the day, for whatever,
for the long haul.
Speaker 2 (10:25):
I could call Chris right now and be like, can
you sing bye bye bye for us? And he'd be like, yeah, sure,
he's down for whatever. You want to go to Starbucks
and get a verist. A couple of us.
Speaker 1 (10:33):
Sure, let's go, Chris could get me a cup, call him.
Speaker 2 (10:37):
I will.
Speaker 5 (10:37):
Okay, I'm canda Slowpez. Those are your Texas Tough stories.
Speaker 2 (10:40):
Real or fake news. I'm gonna give you three headlines.
You got to tell me which one is the fake headline.
And it's just a fun way to talk about ridiculous
stories that are going on in this world, because this
world is ridiculous. Oh yeah, we live in a ridiculous world.
Just making that clear, all right. Headline number one. Massive
fight at Texas bass Pro shop started over two men
arguing about a fish. Massive fight at Texas bass Pro
(11:03):
shops started over two men arguing over a fish. Okay, okay,
that's headline number one. Headline number two. Japan deploys troops
to fight wave of bear attacks. Ooh, Japan deploys troops
to fight a wave of bear attacks. That is headline
number two. And headline number three. Maine Health system sends
(11:25):
letters to over five hundred patients telling them they're dead.
Speaker 1 (11:28):
What?
Speaker 2 (11:30):
Main Health system sends letters to over five hundred patients
telling them that they're dead.
Speaker 1 (11:36):
Huh?
Speaker 2 (11:36):
Okay, there you go. You got three headlines. You got
to tell me which one is fake. I'm getting good
at this because one of these I've made up and
it's just totally fake. And you got to tell me
which one Candice won yesterday? I think would you like
to go first? Or would you like to pass it
to poo O first?
Speaker 1 (11:50):
Today? Yeah?
Speaker 5 (11:51):
I think I'm gonna go with that last story, lock
me in for Maine sending those letters?
Speaker 2 (11:55):
Yeah, I think that happened.
Speaker 4 (11:56):
No, all right, let me lock that in.
Speaker 1 (11:58):
It's kind of weird.
Speaker 4 (11:59):
It's not locking it today.
Speaker 2 (12:00):
That. There we go, it's locked in. Sometimes the lock
doesn't work, little grease. All right, poo which one do
you think is the fake story? Man, I'm gonna go
with that second story. Troops and bears?
Speaker 1 (12:13):
Really?
Speaker 2 (12:13):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (12:14):
Why would you use the army to get some bears?
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (12:18):
Things happened. Let's lock that in. Yea, and the winner
today is.
Speaker 2 (12:23):
Me.
Speaker 4 (12:25):
You both missed. You both missed the fake story.
Speaker 2 (12:28):
The fake story is a massive fight at Texas bass
Pro shops started over two men arguing about a fish
sounds country. Okay, it did happen in Odessa and it
went viral. The fight did did you see that fight?
That massive fight that went viral at bass Pro shops
in Odessa. Yeah, but it didn't start over a fish.
(12:49):
It's even worse what it started up. That would actually
make more sense. Two dudes, My mass is bigger than yours. No,
this started over because someone was using the bathroom and
they said they were taken to long. No. Yes, And
then I guess the camp the family came out and
you take it too long, we need to go, and
they were like, shut up, and then they just started
brawling in there.
Speaker 1 (13:10):
Yeah, the bathroom.
Speaker 2 (13:11):
Yes, wow, I think it's a valid reason it goes.
Speaker 1 (13:15):
Yeah, you've knocked a few times aggressively. That's about how
far you take it.
Speaker 4 (13:18):
I got to fight in a bathroom once on Lower Greenville.
Yeah I did. No, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (13:25):
This guy was mad at me and he pushed me
while I was peeing, which I did not appreciate. No,
you ever have anybody push you while you're peeing. No,
you've never felt more helpless in your life. You just
tip over?
Speaker 1 (13:36):
Wow?
Speaker 4 (13:36):
Yeah I guess so, and he all over?
Speaker 1 (13:39):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (13:39):
So yeah, but everything was okay?
Speaker 1 (13:41):
Wow?
Speaker 2 (13:42):
All right? The real stories main Main Health system sends
letters to over five hundred patients telling them they're dead.
What is going on this is kind of crazy, but
it actually happened. So, I mean, they're the biggest healthcare
provider in Maine, this company. They sent letter to five
hundred and thirty one patients saying that they're dead. And
the letters expressed condolences and included information on you know,
(14:05):
about how they're next to kin can resolve their estates
and you know, and it was all a computer system.
Are in the software used to generate these letters, and
all these people were alive. So imagining in the letter
you know that said you're dead, five hundred and thirty
people are now mad because well, and some of them
are now suing this healthcare system saying you know, what
are you doing? It stressed me out any reason to
(14:27):
sue first of all, for sure, But you know, I'm
stressed out. See, and this is why I don't check
my mail. There you go, This is exactly why letter.
Speaker 4 (14:36):
I don't want to find out I'm dead through the mail,
you know. But people are mad about that.
Speaker 2 (14:41):
The other story is wild Japan has deployed troops to
fight a wave of bear attacks. What is going on?
Speaker 1 (14:46):
Wow?
Speaker 4 (14:47):
Yeah, I guess it's so bad over there.
Speaker 2 (14:49):
This is they've deployed the military troops to the country's
mountains north to help trap bears after an urgent request
from local authorities struggling with an unprecedented.
Speaker 4 (14:59):
Wave of bear attacks.
Speaker 2 (15:01):
Yeah, it started, I guess in a little town with
like thirty thousand people, where residents have been told to
basically stay indoors, avoid can you imagine avoid any kind
of forest, don't go outside at all after dark if
you don't have to, and carry bells to keep bears away.
More than one hundred people have been attacked by bears
(15:22):
since April, with a record of twelve deaths across Japan,
and now the military is involved in trying to trap
some of these bears and contain it because the bears
are I'm telling you what I tell you. I have
a fear of bears, a massive fear of bears, because
they're terrifying. They're smart, they're huge, they're fast, they weigh
like a thousand pounds and they can run like incredibly
(15:45):
crazy fast. And what are you gonna do? What are
you gonna do? And I can't figure out what I'm
supposed to do with every bear I know. You know
that they say, well, if it's a black bear, if
it's black fight back. If it's brown, lay down, stay down. Well,
you know I'm gonna mess that up. Oh yeah, And
I'm gonna fight a brown bear and die, that's for sure.
Speaker 1 (16:04):
And I'm not gonna remember that.
Speaker 2 (16:06):
And other bears here, No, I've never seen one. No,
but they're right over the border in Oklahoma, right across
the Red River. I don't know why they can't cross,
if they haven't figured out, if they don't have a
toll tag, I don't know, but they're they're in Oklahoma.
They are, yes, because our friend posts about it on
his trail cam. He's like sawing, no the bear today,
our friend McCrae, Yeah, I found another bear. Feed the bears.
Speaker 4 (16:26):
First of all, why you feed the bears?
Speaker 1 (16:28):
No, it seems like the worst idea.
Speaker 2 (16:31):
What a hillbilly? I mean, you don't feed the bear
so it'll come to you. No, put the food over there?
You are the food?
Speaker 4 (16:39):
Are you doing, you dummy?
Speaker 2 (16:40):
All he needs is a side of ranch and you're
over Get.
Speaker 1 (16:45):
It off yours to promise you'll feel better. Welcome to
the dirty little secret.
Speaker 2 (16:49):
They don't forget. We got money coming up, so if
you want some cash, pay your bills. We do it
all day. It starts at like eight twenty one thousand dollars.
Your chance that money, I'm mixed one or two point nine.
Good morning, It's Bailly, a kid can't slow as is here,
Producer Pooh is here, and we.
Speaker 4 (17:02):
Got your secrets.
Speaker 2 (17:03):
If you have a dirty little secret you want to confess,
this is what we do eight three three seven eight
seven one on two nine, or you can hit me
up on Instagram. Sometimes we set it up that way
at Billy on the radio, or sometimes people call Candis
and they're like, you know, I'd rather set it up
with you and they'll DM you at Candas on air.
Whatever works you have one. What's going on?
Speaker 7 (17:21):
Yeah, So I'm gonna get it off my chest. I mean,
I know I am being pretty petty. I will admit it,
all right, But basically I has been taking the guy
that I just started seeing to the bar that my
ex works at.
Speaker 4 (17:40):
Why on purpose?
Speaker 7 (17:43):
What on purpose? I know? Yeah, I know it's petty.
I know, and I've done it like three times already.
Not because I like him. I honestly don't like he
all looks and no depth whatsoever. But that's exactly the point.
Speaker 8 (18:01):
He's tall and hot, okay, and literally just the kind
of man that people turn to stare at when he
walks in type guy so perfect for what I need.
Speaker 9 (18:14):
You know, he may not.
Speaker 7 (18:15):
Be the smartest guy. I'm not gonna lie like, I'm
not sure we have really anything in comments.
Speaker 2 (18:25):
So I feel bad for this guy. So you're saying
that you're dating this So for a minute, I'm like, Oh,
she doesn't like her ex. You mean you don't even
like the guy you're really dating. You're just using him
because he's arm candy pretty much?
Speaker 7 (18:39):
Yeah, basically basically. I mean, like, for example, like last
time we went in. The second that we step inside,
I sought my ex. He's behind the bar and he's
pretending to not notice me while he's wiping down the
same glass over and over again, and I just sort
of flied onto a role. I lean in close to
(19:01):
my date, I laugh at something that wasn't even funny,
and I know, I know, it's that's you know what,
That's what my ex gets for pretty much ignoring me
for two years and not treating me right. So he
deserves this torture. Wow, the plan is working perfectly.
Speaker 2 (19:19):
It sounds like you're getting whatever you need out of it,
that's for sure. So so the guy that you're seeing
doesn't even know this is your ex.
Speaker 4 (19:26):
You're you're not even like talking about it.
Speaker 2 (19:28):
You're just showing up and like, hey, this is my
spot here I am and it's kind.
Speaker 7 (19:32):
He has no idea.
Speaker 4 (19:34):
Yeah, this poor guy.
Speaker 2 (19:37):
So you can't learn to like this guy. You don't.
You can't. Maybe he'll grow on you if he's hot,
and I guess, but maybe not.
Speaker 9 (19:45):
Maybe maybe, I mean, the brains aren't there, ye compatib
I'm not sure the compatibility.
Speaker 7 (19:55):
Is really really truly it. But you know what, right now,
he's doing the job that needs to be done. Okay,
and that's my dirty little secret.
Speaker 2 (20:07):
There you go. That's it, and it's a good one.
And at least you set it up to go, hey,
I know I'm being petty because you are. And hey,
if this guy's well, let's just say, if this guy's dumb,
does he even care? If he's just you know, he cares.
Speaker 1 (20:21):
He probably is just never gonna know.
Speaker 2 (20:23):
Like he's going out, he's hanging out with you. You know,
he's like, me have fun? Why do I feature Travis Kelsey?
Speaker 3 (20:33):
There he goes me me have fun, Me have fun,
me go out to bar.
Speaker 4 (20:39):
Me, hot.
Speaker 2 (20:42):
Me, cave me, you come with me, ye me drink
oh man, Well, good luck. Let us know what happens.
And yeah, you're obviously not gonna do this forever. But
if this is your way, hey, everybody kind of you know,
gets over things in their own way, and this is
your way.
Speaker 4 (20:58):
I'm not hating on it.
Speaker 2 (20:59):
Whatever, right, Well, thank you.
Speaker 7 (21:01):
I appreciate you for not making me feel eyes worse.
Speaker 2 (21:05):
Good luck, no, good luck, And I hope you get
over this guy. But until you move on, you're really
never going to get over this guy. Until you stop
doing this, you're not.
Speaker 1 (21:12):
The energy still towards him.
Speaker 7 (21:14):
Yeah, I know, I know you're right, that is true.
Speaker 2 (21:17):
And at some point that at some point your ex
is going to be like she can't get over me,
like she comes in all the time, she still loves me,
and it's so now it's probably the time to go. Okay,
I have my phone with it now, I'm out. He
knows I'm with a hot dude, right and I'm I'm gone. Bye.
Whatever you decide to do, good luck, and I hope
it works out for you, and thank you for your
dirty little secret.
Speaker 7 (21:39):
Well, thank you for letting me get it off my chat.
Speaker 2 (21:42):
Absolutely, they were go speaking of hot guys because pooh,
that guy Josh yesterday was so hot, did we hear back?
We were trying to find Josh. We were trying to
connecthim with the misconnection that he had, and I don't
think we found Veronica yet. We have all I had
a couple, I had a couple of leads. But he
met this Veronica girl at Cowboys red River and then
(22:02):
she just kind of ran off, and so we might
have to set him up tomorrow if he's down.
Speaker 1 (22:07):
I totally think we should because ladies would like.
Speaker 2 (22:09):
This guy's a very nice guy, so nice. He is
good looking, helps he has an eight pack. You know sure,
ladies like that, right.
Speaker 1 (22:18):
He's a nice guy. Yeah, he's cute.
Speaker 3 (22:20):
Yeah, I'm just trying to play it all.
Speaker 1 (22:23):
Hello, I'm married in my mid forties. Okay, that's weird.
Speaker 3 (22:26):
How old is he?
Speaker 1 (22:28):
Thirty? Maybe twenty nine or thirty?
Speaker 2 (22:30):
Okay, ladies went at a little cub.
Speaker 5 (22:33):
I mean, he's single and he's it's not working out
with this girl because we can't find her.
Speaker 2 (22:37):
Maybe we'll put him on tomorrow and do a little
dating show for a Friday let's ask him.
Speaker 4 (22:41):
Okay, well, yeah, pooh, ask if he's down.
Speaker 1 (22:43):
I'm still on the whole. I still think she's good.
We're gonna find her, Okay, Well, hopefully we do.
Speaker 2 (22:47):
If not, either way, we'll try to hook it up.
I just thought of that when I was thinking of No,
you're looking man, that's weird. His tough stories on the
tents with Billy the Kid in the.
Speaker 5 (22:56):
Morning only on the new mixed one or two point nine.
Speaker 4 (23:01):
Yeah, I'm getting hight. That's what we call it. Thursday's
Friday ease. Can't a slow pest. We've got a lot
going on. What's happening?
Speaker 5 (23:05):
Yeah, well, Starbucks union barisas have voted for an open
ended strike.
Speaker 1 (23:09):
So the timing of this is on purpose.
Speaker 5 (23:10):
Of course, today is the first day you can get
their new lineup of holiday cups and drinks, and then
Red Cup Day, which is their biggest sales day of
the year, that is next Thursday. That's where they give
away the reusable red cups. It's a big deal. Will
they try to time this, you know, so that affects
their biggest day.
Speaker 1 (23:27):
This union is asking.
Speaker 5 (23:29):
For better hours, higher wages, and for them to resolve
hundreds of unfair labor practice charges that have come out
against Starbucks. Starbucks says any agreement with the union needs
to reflect the reality that they already offer the best
job in retail. They say they pay more than thirty
dollars an hour and average for with.
Speaker 1 (23:47):
Benefits to for hourly partners.
Speaker 5 (23:50):
But I guess they also say they get more than
one million job applications a year, so they're standing firm
on this. And I just am so sad about Starbucks today.
Like I mentioned earlier, try to get this Arrista cup
at four thirty in the morning.
Speaker 2 (24:03):
I can't believe that they sent one, one one Verrista
cup to the store.
Speaker 4 (24:07):
That you went to.
Speaker 5 (24:08):
Yeah, if you haven't heard about it, it's like a
viral glass bear shaped cup. It's so cute with the
little green beanie and Pooh actually just called the one.
Speaker 1 (24:15):
On inwood right, No on Alpha, right at alpha?
Speaker 2 (24:18):
What did they say?
Speaker 3 (24:18):
And boat locations they don't have any.
Speaker 4 (24:20):
They didn't get any.
Speaker 3 (24:21):
They didn't get any.
Speaker 1 (24:23):
Thanks poo.
Speaker 2 (24:23):
I think Starbucks is doing this on purpose, just so
we're talking about it, but nobody actually gets them, and
then it creates demand.
Speaker 4 (24:29):
I hate when people do that.
Speaker 1 (24:30):
I know I'm so bummed about that.
Speaker 4 (24:32):
But I'm making me mad because Cannis wants this.
Speaker 1 (24:34):
I did.
Speaker 5 (24:34):
Yeah, I was so high I left to post a
note on my beer this morning.
Speaker 1 (24:37):
Don't forget you're going to Starbucks tomorrow. Yeah. Tat the
ver easta cup which I didn't get because one man
walked out with it and it's probably for sale online
right now.
Speaker 5 (24:47):
One dude, one dude saw in his hand. Yeah, and
then the girl's like, we had one and it's sold.
Speaker 1 (24:52):
I was like, yeah, I saw it.
Speaker 2 (24:54):
Anyways, It's okay, Cannis, We'll get you a Berista cup.
Speaker 1 (24:57):
Thanks, guys, no problem. Something a little more promising, guys.
Taco Bell. They're opening their new beverage concept in Dallas today.
It's called Live Moss Cafe.
Speaker 5 (25:06):
It's basically a store within a store that is also
focused on drinks. Everybody is all about beverages right now.
The grand opening is at eleven o'clock this morning. It's
over on mocking Bird. They're gonna have more than thirty
drink options, chio Chiller, specialty coffees, energy drinks, and pooh.
Speaker 1 (25:23):
I feel like you're gonna like this a dirty.
Speaker 5 (25:25):
Mountain Dew, Baja Blast Dream soda.
Speaker 4 (25:29):
Is there alcohol in that?
Speaker 5 (25:31):
I don't know if there's alcohol in that, but there's
a ton of drinks that they're trying to sell in
this new cafe.
Speaker 2 (25:37):
Is there alcohol here at all?
Speaker 1 (25:39):
I don't, Taco Bell, I don't think so.
Speaker 2 (25:40):
Well. I mean, I'm just saying if they're making a
spec because I know there's one there's like a bar,
a Taco Bell one on in Vegas where they serve
booz oh.
Speaker 1 (25:48):
Would be wrong to have one in Vegas without.
Speaker 2 (25:50):
Boots, like a Baja Blast with a little vodka.
Speaker 1 (25:53):
Yeah, little Tito's in there there. Yes, Yeah. Taco Bell says.
Speaker 5 (25:59):
They plan the open thing thirty of these by the
end of the year. This is similar to what McDonald's
did with the Cosmic Cafe, remember, and then back in
May they were like, well, we're closing them all.
Speaker 2 (26:07):
Just didn't really work, that's right.
Speaker 1 (26:09):
Yeah, kind of the same concept.
Speaker 4 (26:11):
It wasn't it, Richardson?
Speaker 1 (26:12):
Uh maybe so it's already closed. Yeah, Yeah, didn't really work.
So we'll see how Taco Bell manages with this. Guys.
Speaker 5 (26:20):
The Grammy nominations will be announced this morning. Sabrina Carpenter,
Chapel Rone Dochi, Carol G.
Speaker 1 (26:26):
All among the artists who will help present.
Speaker 5 (26:28):
These Today, they are going to live stream this starting
at ten, and they'll announce the nominees across ninety five categories.
The Grammys will happen live February first from Los Angeles.
By the way, apparently Taylor Swift won't be on the
list of nominees. She's not eligible even though she released
The Life of a Showgirl this year.
Speaker 1 (26:47):
She would have had to put that album out before the.
Speaker 5 (26:50):
End of August to be eligible, but it came out
in October, So this will be the first time she's
not eligible since she was seventeen when she released her
debut single Tim McGraw, which wasn't even submitted for the Grammys.
But this show next year will be the first time
she's not nominated since twenty seventeen, which is so weird
to think about.
Speaker 4 (27:10):
Yeah, good for everyone else. They have a chance to
win now really Yeah?
Speaker 5 (27:14):
So does she even come to just watch the show
if she's not nominated?
Speaker 4 (27:17):
Yeah, yeah, she probably won't. She's busy.
Speaker 1 (27:20):
Yeah, but the next Grammys should be her year.
Speaker 4 (27:22):
So yeah, it's gonna be all her again for sure.
Speaker 1 (27:24):
Back to normal. I'm Candaslopez. Those are your Texas Top stories.
Speaker 3 (27:28):
It's done for Candace Court.
Speaker 1 (27:31):
It gets settled here with Billy the Kid in the morning.
Speaker 4 (27:34):
Yes, I'm mixed.
Speaker 2 (27:34):
One on two point nine. All rise for the Honorable
Judge Candace Lopez. All right, it's brought to you by
Amy with her Wright and one eight hundred truck rack.
Speaker 4 (27:43):
Canna's Court is in session, Candace.
Speaker 2 (27:44):
Are you ready?
Speaker 1 (27:45):
I am ready.
Speaker 4 (27:46):
I don't see your gabble today.
Speaker 1 (27:47):
You're mad right here on top of my coffee.
Speaker 2 (27:49):
Be mad.
Speaker 4 (27:50):
You're just angry about Starbucks and the Barista cups.
Speaker 5 (27:52):
Oh no, I tried to start my day at four
thirty today, just disappointed.
Speaker 2 (27:56):
I can't believe they had one to give away and
that was it. I know one you could buy either way.
That's not what is on Candace Cour today. And there's
already some drama going on about Thanksgiving. And if you
have an issue, yes at candis on air on Instagram,
send her your problem.
Speaker 4 (28:09):
She's so good.
Speaker 2 (28:09):
If I need advice, do you think I can go
to Pooh, No, I go straight to Candace.
Speaker 4 (28:14):
Yeah, That's where I go. I don't go to anybody else.
Speaker 2 (28:17):
No, because you give solid advice appreciated.
Speaker 4 (28:19):
You're the show mom.
Speaker 2 (28:21):
Yeah you know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (28:22):
I brought cupcakes.
Speaker 2 (28:22):
Yeah, you got cupcakes. You got the good snacks and
good advice. Okay, here we go. My sister in law
always hosts a family for holiday meals and assigns us
something to bring.
Speaker 4 (28:32):
I'm already annoyed.
Speaker 2 (28:34):
Why I don't want to be a sign?
Speaker 4 (28:36):
Can I just bring what I want?
Speaker 5 (28:37):
Well, I mean, but you gotta make sure everyone's not
bringing the same thing.
Speaker 2 (28:41):
Well, if there's seventeen green bean cast roles, I'm fine
with that.
Speaker 1 (28:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (28:45):
Anyway, she says, for years, the only things for years,
the only thing she has asked me to bring for
Thanksgiving is the roles.
Speaker 1 (29:00):
Okay, well she's.
Speaker 2 (29:01):
Already getting ready, of course, And yesterday here came the
text or I'm gonna sign the roles.
Speaker 3 (29:09):
I'm gonna needs girl.
Speaker 2 (29:12):
While I'm happy to not have to cook, I gotta
be honest, my feelings are a little hurt. There are
a lot of fantastic cooks in my family, and I
may not be one of them. But I could do
something more than just bring the rolls. So funny, because
this is the epitome of telling someone you can't cook.
Speaker 4 (29:35):
Yeah, just bring the rolls.
Speaker 2 (29:38):
Should I be offended or thankful from my easy role
in our turkey dinner? I love this canis court because
the sister in law tension is real, the mother in
law tension is real. There's certain little, passive, aggressive ways
that people get there, you know, and get their points across.
And the holidays there's no better time to do it.
And one way you can do it is, hey, you
(29:59):
know what, don't worry about it. Just bring them rolls.
Speaker 3 (30:03):
But she can't look at it like in a negative sense.
Speaker 4 (30:06):
Oh yes you can.
Speaker 3 (30:07):
That's an important job. The rolls. You can't just bring
regular roles.
Speaker 4 (30:11):
You can. No, yeah you can.
Speaker 2 (30:12):
I mean really, you totally could.
Speaker 4 (30:14):
You can bring almost any roll and it's going to
be just for lying rolls.
Speaker 2 (30:18):
Yure Hawaiian rolls. You're good, that's perfect sleep.
Speaker 1 (30:21):
Potato rolls, and they're consistent. But look, you didn't make
the cut, you know what I mean?
Speaker 5 (30:26):
Think about the list, the order, right, you got the proteins,
the meats, the ham, the turkey, you got all the side.
Speaker 2 (30:32):
Oh yeah you got. I'm sorry, I apologize. Let me
get you have the past.
Speaker 1 (30:41):
Exactly where is roles on the list?
Speaker 4 (30:45):
Nobody saying we got rolls, rolls, rolls.
Speaker 5 (30:51):
H they're at the bottom of the list. So I
mean from one bread girley to another.
Speaker 1 (30:57):
Like, I get you, but you have a choice to
make right.
Speaker 5 (30:59):
You can either settle, you know, and be the bread bringer,
or you can wow them and bring whatever you want.
You know that food is great. No one's gonna exactly
something else.
Speaker 4 (31:10):
And you just nailed it right there. That's what you do.
Speaker 2 (31:13):
That's what you do. You bring the rolls. Yeah, you
asked me to bring the rolls, and guess what I'm
gonna wow you. And I'm also bringing.
Speaker 1 (31:18):
Some stuff in yeah, or something an extra dessert.
Speaker 4 (31:22):
Yeah, bring a dessert.
Speaker 1 (31:23):
Nobody's gonna turn that down.
Speaker 4 (31:24):
No sister in law is gonna be so angry.
Speaker 1 (31:27):
Yeah, you know.
Speaker 2 (31:27):
Oh I brought the rolls and I also brought a
fresh made apple pie, right, oh, big flex. And you
know what you do is you go to a chef
and you buy the best one you could find, and
you lie through your teeth and you say you made it.
Speaker 4 (31:39):
You just show her up and be like, what did
you have in it?
Speaker 2 (31:41):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (31:42):
You had to dry turkey?
Speaker 2 (31:43):
I mean the turkey? Oh okay, well it was good.
Speaker 5 (31:45):
Yeah, I mean it sounds like maybe she's like new
to the family and so she should offer to bring
something they've never had, because every family has like their staples,
whatever they are, and then you know, something new that
they've never had before might change the game next year.
Speaker 2 (32:00):
I've never thought about it like this. This is very
This does put things into perspective. Yeah, whatever you're asked
to bring, yeah, is basically how good of a cook
they think you are. At least you ain't bringing doctor
thunder and big k Well, I mean, is that what
you're asked to If you have to bring them cokes
and stuff? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (32:18):
Can you bring the plastic sport?
Speaker 4 (32:19):
You don't worry about it, sweetie, just bring the utensils.
Speaker 1 (32:23):
Yeah, vietnapping girl.
Speaker 4 (32:26):
Okay, what are you typically asked to bring cannis?
Speaker 1 (32:28):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (32:29):
Well, I do the dressing because I can get it
really close to how my grandma used to make it
and that's how we like it. But I also do
a strawberry pie that everyone loves and my grandma's blueberry pie.
Speaker 4 (32:42):
Okay, then you're obviously respected in the family as a.
Speaker 2 (32:44):
Cook for sure.
Speaker 1 (32:45):
I mean for those things. Now, don't ask me to
do a protein no, you.
Speaker 4 (32:49):
Know, well, turkey sucks.
Speaker 1 (32:50):
My brother will do that because he's got a green
egg or whatever.
Speaker 2 (32:53):
Yeah, but turkey's like the most overrated thing of Thanksgiving.
I'm here for the sides. I'm here for the.
Speaker 4 (33:00):
All right, So what should she do?
Speaker 6 (33:02):
Like?
Speaker 4 (33:02):
What should she do?
Speaker 2 (33:03):
Or as far as who's guilty in this situation, because
there's got to be a verdict. This is a court
after all, this candas, what do you think?
Speaker 5 (33:09):
I think this girl is guilty of being a three
fifty Teresa? Put the rolls in it three point fifty.
Speaker 1 (33:16):
Don't sweat it, but wow them with something they've never had.
You'll be on the list. You'll be higher on the
list next year.
Speaker 4 (33:25):
Do you even have to make them? Can't you just
bring Hawaiian roles?
Speaker 1 (33:28):
I mean you can.
Speaker 4 (33:29):
Hawaiian rolls are the best to me anyway all day.
Speaker 2 (33:31):
Just heat them up. You don't even have to eat
them up. I will eat a Hawaiian roll with anything
in life, yes or nothing? Yeah or nothing? Yeah, or
I'll just eat a Hawaiian It's pretty much dessert. Yeah,
it's so good. Okay, So she is guilty of.
Speaker 1 (33:42):
Being a what three fifty Teresa? Set it and forget it.
Speaker 2 (33:46):
That's tough ability kid Candae Loan pats producer Pooh. And
this was cracking me out because I love these stupid
random studies that come out that are just so weird
to me, but they're so accurate. This new study says
that the average person has two spots at home that
they consider their spots that nobody else can sit in.
Oh yeah, and I'm thinking about it. I'm like, you
(34:07):
know what, that is so accurate. Yeah, so, like, I know,
I have my spot. Same you have a spot, poo,
you have a spot. I bet you Pooh could tell
me my spot? Is that weird?
Speaker 6 (34:19):
Yours has got to be uh in that little area
next to your kitchen little yeah, yeah, down the room,
that's your spot.
Speaker 4 (34:27):
It's the kitchen table.
Speaker 6 (34:29):
Yeah, I'm sorry, Yeah, it's his seat. But the only
other person that's allowed to.
Speaker 2 (34:34):
Sit there is trigger. No, he's not allowed to sit there. Whatever,
that is my spot. I sat there and was like,
what are you doing? How does pooon know me so well?
Is that weird that that's my spot in the house,
the kitchen table.
Speaker 1 (34:44):
It's not weird at all.
Speaker 2 (34:46):
That is so strange. People think it's so weird that
I will sit at the kitchen table, you will. I
feel like it's I can see the entire house an
advantage point, and like if my son goes to sit there,
I'm like, hey, no, up, up. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (34:58):
I mean my spot at the island and is the
chair on the right close to the fridge, and everyone
knows that's just.
Speaker 1 (35:04):
Where I sit, Like, no one sits there.
Speaker 5 (35:06):
And then my spot on the couch is we have
a sectional and it's like where they meet in the middle,
and so you could lay this way or you could
lay that way.
Speaker 1 (35:14):
And that's just my spot. It's got pillows, blankets to
collect right there.
Speaker 4 (35:17):
Isn't that random? And we all have a spot, like
what's your spot?
Speaker 2 (35:20):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (35:20):
My dad used to kick me out of his spot
every day came Yeah, because I get into the reclining
chair and it'd be so comfy, and he would walk
in at four o'clock.
Speaker 1 (35:28):
We're gonna be like, hoist it, missy. I'd like, yep,
I'm going to the couch now.
Speaker 2 (35:34):
That's cute. Yeah, my dad never did that. Oh, he
wasn't around. Yeah, Actually my dad didn't have a spot.
My dad's spot was the bar down the street. I'm kidding,
I'm not kidding, but it's not. It's fun.
Speaker 4 (35:48):
Yeah, everything's fine.
Speaker 6 (35:51):
My spot is my living room because uh, well you
know I only have a one bedroom apartment.
Speaker 4 (35:55):
Yeah, but it's gonna be specific specific.
Speaker 2 (35:57):
No.
Speaker 6 (35:58):
I have a chair that I got from Billy years ago.
It's like this swivel chair you do. Yeah that remember
that broun a round one?
Speaker 3 (36:05):
Yeah, used to have upstairs. I still have it though,
you do?
Speaker 2 (36:09):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (36:09):
Nice?
Speaker 4 (36:10):
Did I give that to you?
Speaker 2 (36:11):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (36:11):
I kind of want that back.
Speaker 1 (36:13):
No, No, that's lot like we have our spots in here. Yeah,
oh yes, somebody sat my spot in here. Oh it
would be done.
Speaker 2 (36:20):
Oh that would be so weird. One day we should
just all switch spots. I would actually love it because
then you guys can run the control controls. But from
over here you do you can't.
Speaker 7 (36:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (36:29):
I like my spot.
Speaker 2 (36:30):
Okay, isn't that weird? Though your average spot, they say
people have their spots for an average of four years. Oh,
seventeen percent of people say their first they first stake
their claim more than a decade ago. It's so fun.
Younger adults like gen Z millennials generally have more. They
have three or four spots.
Speaker 10 (36:48):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (36:48):
They work from home.
Speaker 2 (36:49):
Probably fifty two percent of people say they even consider
their favorite spot to be sacred or reserved, and fifty
four percent so they would take offence to someone else
taking their spot.
Speaker 4 (37:00):
Yeah, random, Like where's your spot?
Speaker 2 (37:02):
If it's a random spot, I want to know about
an eight three three seven eight seven one o two nine.
It could be something strange, like, you know, I had
a neighbor growing up. His spot was in the garage. Oh,
the garage was in the front of the house, and
he would be there every day, sitting in a chair
at the garage, no matter what the temperature was, Yeah,
staring at every kid and just screaming at him as
they went by to stay off as long.
Speaker 4 (37:24):
That was his spot.
Speaker 2 (37:25):
Yeah, and people would he'd be in the garage. He
would even watch TV in the garage. Yeah, but it
was like I don't know, it was like a little TV.
He would put on a stand and it would be cold.
He'd be out there no matter what. And then there's
like rumors that started about him that he was trying
to like get kids into the garage. So I always
rode my bike real fast past his house. This South
(37:46):
Serio's gonna snatch me up. Yeah, And I was a
chubby kid, so I was easy to catch.
Speaker 1 (37:55):
Oh that's a hot take.
Speaker 3 (37:57):
Let us know what you think.
Speaker 1 (37:58):
Here's today's hot take, this one on two point nine.
Speaker 2 (38:01):
It's bail at a kid, Canda Slowpez producer poo and
we got dirty little secret. Well that's not yeah that's
coming out. But what I meant to say is a
thousand dollars cash coming up or got both coming up,
but not too either way, one thousand dollars on the way.
We're paying bills all day, so we'll do that next
hot take of the day. This list is interesting to
me because well, dating sucks, just does even when you know,
(38:21):
like you can't just think back.
Speaker 4 (38:22):
You're married now, but think.
Speaker 2 (38:23):
Back to dating.
Speaker 1 (38:24):
Yeah, it's awkward.
Speaker 2 (38:25):
There's just kind of like the whole situation is kind
of weird.
Speaker 1 (38:28):
Nobody's on the same page.
Speaker 2 (38:29):
No, you're never Well, these dating experts came out with
the list of things you should never ask in the
first date, and I'm going over a moment. I don't
know if I agree with this, and maybe that's just
why I have issues, but you know I love a
good list for sure, And you tell me if you
agree with some of these things that you should never
I think some of these things are old school and
that you should be asking these questions because why not
do it on the first date and get it out
(38:50):
of the way if you ask me. Well, one of
them is, okay, maybe this one's weird. How do you
think this date is going so far? Oh?
Speaker 3 (38:59):
No, don't Actually, I know what.
Speaker 2 (39:00):
I don't mind that. Wow, I don't mind. Then if
somebody asked me that, I'd be like honest about it,
and I think it'd be well, you know it's I
think it's going okay, or this is a good chance
to go.
Speaker 4 (39:10):
I don't know. If there's a connection here. You want
to just wrap it up?
Speaker 1 (39:15):
Wow?
Speaker 3 (39:16):
With check please.
Speaker 2 (39:18):
I can talk to anybody, So even if a date
is not clicking, I think that I could be I
could make it okay, right, But I.
Speaker 1 (39:25):
Mean, wouldn't you be afraid to hurt their feelings right
on the first date?
Speaker 2 (39:29):
Yeah? But I mean i'd also really appreciate somebody not
wasting any of my time too.
Speaker 1 (39:34):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (39:34):
Time's important. So sure either way, that's one of them.
Another one is are you seeing anyone else right now?
Speaker 1 (39:40):
Okay? I mean that's fair.
Speaker 2 (39:43):
I don't think so you don't I'm the first date.
Speaker 1 (39:46):
I mean, I'm just curious.
Speaker 5 (39:47):
I get it out there, right, if you're going to
get everything else out there, let's get that out there
and just know.
Speaker 1 (39:52):
If you are or not.
Speaker 2 (39:53):
Yeah, I'm dating. Everyone's dating other people, So you know,
if you're always I assume if I if I were
to go a date, a first date, I assume they're
dating other people.
Speaker 5 (40:03):
Okay, that's just what I assume. Okay, so I never
dated more people. I was date one person at a time.
Speaker 2 (40:09):
Well, I mean the first date. Yeah, first date. Yeah,
that's why you're married and happy. Okay, Wow, they don't
make them like Candaelowpez. They don't anymore. That's stopped in
two thousand and six. Do you want to split the bill?
Is on there as a question you shouldn't ask in
the first dates. Okay. I think that's kind of old
(40:29):
school too. People split the I don't split the bill.
I like paying for the bill. Call me old school,
but I don't know.
Speaker 1 (40:35):
I don't like is the man or the woman asking
this in this scenario?
Speaker 2 (40:39):
I know, I think whoever asked you on the date
should pay. Yeah, or at least unless there's some you know,
weird turn of events. Why wouldn't they pay? You asked
me on the date?
Speaker 6 (40:50):
Yeah, so if the girl asked me for a date,
she pays, right, I mean in your world, Yeah, that's
what you would have been.
Speaker 4 (40:57):
I would not be okay with that. I'm weird about that.
Speaker 1 (40:59):
But what if it's just like, let's go grab a drink.
That's It's that a date where I pay for everything?
Speaker 4 (41:05):
Yeah, it's a date.
Speaker 2 (41:06):
Okay, that's a date. Now this question, I believe you
should totally ask on a first date. Do you believe
in marriage?
Speaker 4 (41:11):
Oh? Why would you not?
Speaker 2 (41:12):
Why would you not want to ask that kind of
stuff right away? Because there's certain things that are deal
breakers right off the bait. Yeah, like if you're if
you don't want kids and I want kids, or you
know the opposite. Don't you want to get that out
of the way right away?
Speaker 1 (41:24):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (41:24):
I think this is just like a more middle age
like vibe, Like think back in your twenties, like, would you,
like early twenties, would you ask someone these things?
Speaker 2 (41:32):
Sure? Why not? I didn't.
Speaker 1 (41:34):
I don't think anyone was even thinking about that. I
mean maybe Martin feels that hard as.
Speaker 2 (41:39):
We are now.
Speaker 4 (41:39):
I mean, you wouldn't be like Hey, you know, so
what's your goal in life?
Speaker 2 (41:42):
You want?
Speaker 4 (41:42):
You want a family? You want kids?
Speaker 2 (41:44):
Yeah you know? Yeah that would freak you out.
Speaker 3 (41:47):
Yeah, I'd be like, man, she already want thinking about.
Speaker 2 (41:50):
The altar right that.
Speaker 4 (41:52):
This doesn't mean I want to marry you.
Speaker 2 (41:54):
What do you want? I'm asking you what you want.
It doesn't matter what you know what I mean. Yeah,
that's why I look at it. That's why I wouldn't
freak me out.
Speaker 1 (41:59):
I don't think you would have looked at it that
way when you were.
Speaker 4 (42:02):
Younger, Kenny, you didn't know.
Speaker 2 (42:03):
Oh yeah you did. Am I your type? Oh that's
an interesting question to me. Am I your type? Well?
Why are we here if I'm not? Let's just get
that out of the way right away. They also say
what was your last relationship? Like, you shouldn't ask that question.
Speaker 1 (42:22):
I don't know that would the first date?
Speaker 2 (42:23):
Yeh?
Speaker 5 (42:25):
Feel like the first date should be low key and chill,
have a good time, get some laughs.
Speaker 1 (42:28):
Have fun.
Speaker 2 (42:30):
Yeah yeah, right, it shouldn't be a ton of question
of pressure. But I think there should be some questions.
Speaker 1 (42:34):
Because this sounds like a job interview. How is this
interview going?
Speaker 2 (42:38):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (42:38):
But I don't think you have to ask it like that.
You can be like, you know, so do you usually
date guys like me?
Speaker 2 (42:44):
Or no? What am I?
Speaker 1 (42:46):
I don't know what you are yet?
Speaker 2 (42:47):
Yeah you do just looks well.
Speaker 4 (42:49):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (42:50):
You know what about this one? Now, this is one
that should never be asked on the first date. How
much money do you make? Come on?
Speaker 1 (42:57):
That's ridiculous.
Speaker 4 (42:58):
But it's happened to me before.
Speaker 1 (42:59):
Again, this is a job interview. What's my earning potential?
Speaker 4 (43:02):
It's happened to me before. I've had somebody ask me that, yeah.
Speaker 1 (43:05):
Oh yeah, And is that just because they're curious, Like
you're on the radio. People are confused by this job
because it's so weird.
Speaker 2 (43:11):
Well people, when you're on the radio, people either think
you're a multi millionaire or that you're dirt poor. It
can't afford rent, right, It's one or the other. There's
no middle. So no, I had a girl ask me that.
Speaker 4 (43:21):
She was like, so, I don't know what you know?
People on the radio make is it like?
Speaker 2 (43:25):
Is it a lot? Y? Wow? I was like, I
mean whatever, right, you know, it depends, it depends. It
could be very different from me.
Speaker 1 (43:34):
It's like any other job have you been doing it, I.
Speaker 3 (43:37):
Mean covered his tab.
Speaker 2 (43:39):
Girl, Well, hopefully quiet, be quiet.
Speaker 4 (43:44):
Let's not say that.
Speaker 2 (43:46):
And then then one of the questions they say you
should never ask is I think a question that I
hate more than anything on the planet being asked, and
I'm asked it all the time, and it drives me
crazy because there's no good answer.
Speaker 4 (43:57):
Why are you still single?
Speaker 3 (43:59):
I hate when people ask me.
Speaker 1 (44:01):
That's silly, you know what I mean? Yeah, but what
do they expect?
Speaker 4 (44:04):
You have people ask you that all the time?
Speaker 2 (44:06):
What girl?
Speaker 4 (44:07):
What am I supposed to What are you supposed to
say to that?
Speaker 2 (44:09):
Right? Well?
Speaker 3 (44:10):
Why are you still single?
Speaker 7 (44:11):
Right?
Speaker 6 (44:12):
And they usually say, well, I haven't found what I'm
looking for? Okay, Well I had I one time.
Speaker 2 (44:17):
This is years ago. I had a girl say that.
She asked me that, and I asked her that, and
she goes, well, I wasn't. I was in a relationship,
like you know, a couple of months ago. So why
why are you still single?
Speaker 1 (44:26):
That's weird?
Speaker 2 (44:27):
But I don't know. I'm a loser.
Speaker 4 (44:29):
I suck. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (44:32):
Yeah, yeah, you don't ask that, Yeah, don't ask that. Yeah,
what's the weirdest question you've had? Somebody ask her?
Speaker 4 (44:36):
On a date.
Speaker 2 (44:37):
Let me know eight three three, seven eighty seven one
h two nine. I remember I had the girl see
my dead dad. Yeah, she asked me if I could
feel my dad in the room because she felt.
Speaker 4 (44:47):
She felt his presence. Maybe she did, Maybe she did.
Speaker 1 (44:51):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (44:51):
Then I told her right right at the table. She's like,
your dad is here. I'm like, well, he's here more
now than when he was alive. So whatever.
Speaker 1 (45:00):
This is dirty little secret.
Speaker 3 (45:01):
Little secret.
Speaker 2 (45:05):
Starting little secret is on makes one on two point
nine Ippel like a kid, Canni slow pat producer food.
If you got one, bring it, make you good, confess
anytime you want. You can call us or at Billy
on the radio on Instagram. You got one? How are you? Oh?
Speaker 1 (45:17):
Hi, I'm good. How are you?
Speaker 2 (45:19):
I'm good? Thank you for calling up. I'm excited to
hear this secret. What is going on in your world?
Speaker 10 (45:24):
Well, I mean, I will say I think it's pretty harmless,
but I don't know. So basically the story is, I've
lost a lot of weight recently, and like, truthfully, I
feel amazing. I feel better than I've ever felt before.
Like I'm a whole new the whole new world.
Speaker 6 (45:40):
I'm joy.
Speaker 2 (45:41):
Congratulations for you.
Speaker 6 (45:43):
Thank you.
Speaker 10 (45:43):
Yeah, I'm found like sixty five pounds something like that
now wow. And my friends and family are all like
freaking out, like asking what I'm doing, and of course,
like I mean, I'm telling them like I'm eating right
and I'm working out, you know, blah blah blah, like
all the things that make you lose weight. But the
truth is that I'm nozempic.
Speaker 1 (46:01):
Are you serious?
Speaker 2 (46:02):
And they don't know. No, I don't know. I'm so jealous.
Speaker 4 (46:07):
I am so jealous right now of you.
Speaker 1 (46:09):
I want that.
Speaker 4 (46:10):
Give me that ozempic.
Speaker 2 (46:11):
Gimme shoot me right in the neck.
Speaker 10 (46:15):
I don't even care what the side effects are in
like fifty years, I don't care.
Speaker 2 (46:19):
It's but is it bad that I'm the same. I'm
literally I just give you. I need to lose twenty
Give me twenty pounds. Just give me some ozembic. Shoot
me right in the ass right now. I don't care,
do you do you? It's it's injections, right.
Speaker 10 (46:31):
I don't feel I was gonna say I feel bad
for lying, but like, no, who cares. It's like it's
not really anybody.
Speaker 4 (46:39):
Yeah, yeah, open it and tell anybody.
Speaker 2 (46:43):
And she she should have been telling everybody because she's
trying to sell weight watchers. So to me, like that now,
to me, those are the people who need to say something.
If you're an influencer and you're you know, people are
under the you know, I don't know, the assumption that
you're working out or because you're hashtag fit life or
whatever and you're doing ozempic behind the scenes. That's different.
(47:03):
But you this is your personal life. You have no
obligation to tell anybody what you're doing. Doesn't matter what
you're doing, I mean, right, well, what I.
Speaker 10 (47:09):
Mean, I feel like some people think it's like a
cheating like way to lose weight, like to do weight less,
Like I don't care. I've been bigger my whole life
and nothing has worked. So like I'm gonna live my
life and I don't care. Sorry, I'm sorry.
Speaker 4 (47:20):
Yeah, I mean I get it.
Speaker 2 (47:23):
I don't know if you know I say that shoot
me up with ozempic. I don't know. Really the side
effects that is something I guess we should be concerned about.
Speaker 4 (47:30):
Here comes the note.
Speaker 2 (47:32):
What do you mean?
Speaker 1 (47:33):
Yeah, there's side effects?
Speaker 2 (47:34):
Me? Like, what every Yeah, but that's the thing. You
read everything If I read the tile in all package, right,
now it's gonna say, you know, God, I don't know
death and dismemberments stretch.
Speaker 10 (47:44):
Yeah, and if you're eating food we make in America
or taking drugs and make in America, it's killing you.
So like, who cares, Let's look good while we're dying.
Speaker 2 (47:55):
Cand of Slow Pans Producer pood don't forgive. We got
money all day, thousands of dollars up for great just
in time for the holidays, because I can't believe it's
that time of the year. No, you need this extra
cash to shop and do whatever, especially this year. It's
just like, man, everything's so expensive. So when some money
thousands of dollars all day, another shot coming up at
like ten twenty, Candice, what you got going on today?
Speaker 4 (48:16):
What are you doing?
Speaker 5 (48:16):
I got some adulting to do before my kiddo gets home,
like sign up for my benefits comes all the like adulting,
last minute things like stuff like that making.
Speaker 1 (48:25):
Returns, oh returns.
Speaker 2 (48:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (48:27):
I just don't like to drag my kid to do
that stuff.
Speaker 2 (48:30):
You know.
Speaker 1 (48:30):
It's like when he gets home. I wish my mom
would to ride bikes.
Speaker 2 (48:34):
Drag me play.
Speaker 4 (48:35):
I hated doing errands.
Speaker 2 (48:36):
Wasn't that the worst?
Speaker 4 (48:37):
When you were a kid.
Speaker 2 (48:38):
Yes, my grandma will be watching me and she'd be like,
all right, grandma's gotta go to the bank. Yeah, oh,
I know.
Speaker 1 (48:44):
I have to put him through some stuff just so
he can build tolerance for that.
Speaker 2 (48:47):
That's exactly right.
Speaker 1 (48:48):
Then I have to be tolerant too of him not
being tolerant.
Speaker 2 (48:51):
Like Candas has a hot take that you do a
parenting hot take where you don't let your kid control
the music.
Speaker 5 (48:57):
Oh no, Like if he asks for let me play,
I'll wait for the song to finish. I don't just
cut off a song just to go to another one,
because I'm like, he needs to build up, you know,
patience and not get everything like instantly instant gratification.
Speaker 4 (49:10):
That's a good parenting Haben thinks. Now you sit through
this in sync.
Speaker 1 (49:14):
Yeah he loves Yeah, exactly.
Speaker 4 (49:17):
What song does he hate that you play?
Speaker 1 (49:19):
I can't really think of one that he hates.
Speaker 5 (49:22):
I don't know, but he's really into the Fast and
the Furious soundtrack right now. Okay, so he's asking for
all of those songs.
Speaker 2 (49:27):
Oh good, All right, well that'll be fun.
Speaker 4 (49:30):
Go run some air and sting.
Speaker 1 (49:31):
I know what are you doing?
Speaker 3 (49:33):
I'm dimming in the Tarja and get me a new crockpot.
Speaker 2 (49:36):
Oh, it's for you, you know what, go home?
Speaker 4 (49:40):
You are so weird.
Speaker 2 (49:41):
What I gotta get? No, I have to cook greens
in a few weeks. Like this is why I get
so angry sometimes. His poo's life is such a mystery. Right.
But the one thing I would never think he was
about to say is I'm going to target the shop
for a new crock.
Speaker 3 (49:55):
Pot any one. Yeah, I need to talking about it. Plus,
I gotta cook greens in a couple of weeks.
Speaker 2 (50:00):
Where thanks give it. You're in charge of the greens.
Speaker 6 (50:03):
Yeah, I'm cooking greens. I bragged and boasted them for
the Fam. For the Fam because I usually just to
dip in and get a plate and bound. Oh we know,
is like you got to contribute.
Speaker 2 (50:14):
So I was like, okay, I'll throw down some greens.
Well you don't have to have a crock pot for greens.
Speaker 3 (50:19):
That's how I'm cooking mine.
Speaker 2 (50:20):
Well, my grandma cooked them in a big old pot.
Yeah you can't with a big old chunk of bacon.
Speaker 3 (50:25):
You can do all that, not knocking your grandma, But
you ain't had my greens.
Speaker 1 (50:30):
You know.
Speaker 2 (50:31):
My grandma is First of all, my grandma's greens. Would
I mean, you have no idea. My grandma's greens are
way better than your grandma's greens.
Speaker 4 (50:43):
Don't you even start with me.
Speaker 2 (50:46):
If I have to get my grandma, if I have
to use a Ouiji board to get her come back
to life to cook some greens, don't you ever say
your greens are better.
Speaker 4 (50:54):
Than my grandma's.
Speaker 2 (50:56):
You had my grandma's greens, Mama, Judy May No, you
had my grandma's.
Speaker 3 (51:02):
In Tennessee, Sure, yes I did, Thank you. His grandma
throws down.
Speaker 4 (51:07):
Yeah, like I think she's not anymore.
Speaker 3 (51:09):
I think she had some black blood in her because
she threw down that.
Speaker 4 (51:15):
See that's an honor.
Speaker 2 (51:16):
Homemade biscuits can Oh my god, I literally went out
shot the chicken and cooked it.
Speaker 3 (51:22):
She literally cooked us the last supper. Yeah, I saw
Jesus in the corner giving her death.
Speaker 4 (51:27):
Like, yeah, Jesus was there. Go ahead, Grandma, yeah for real. Okay,
we'll get your cry fied.
Speaker 2 (51:32):
Have fun. We'll see tomorrow. And tomorrow is Friday.
Speaker 4 (51:37):
We'll see that.
Speaker 2 (51:37):
Have a good day. Bye,
