back at Ice yesterday, though Gangster is ice free?

Speaker 4 (00:56):
Or do you pay kids? Are you being serious?

Speaker 3 (00:59):
No, I'm serious.

Speaker 4 (01:00):
Outside of a gas station.

Speaker 3 (01:01):
No, it was in a grocery store.

Speaker 5 (01:03):
Yeah, well, okay, what do you mean is it free?

Speaker 3 (01:07):
Okay? So I was at the grocery store and I
only had one small like cooler bag for like my
cold stuff, and it wouldn't fit everything. And so the
girl was like, I'm gonna double bag this for you.
Put all your cold stuff in here, and then just
put some ice on top of it.

Speaker 4 (01:20):
And I was just like, where do you put ice
on top of it?

Speaker 3 (01:23):
She liked it. They're like really like the paper bags
with handles, like really strong ones, and so she was
like pup patting it on top, like put the ice
on top. And she was like right over there by
the door, and I was like, okay, cool, and so
I rolled over there and I was like, I'm pretty
like this was she just telling me to take it?
So I put it. I took the bag of ice,
and you just put it on top.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
You took a whole bag of ice, she told me.
I don't know if she's telling you to take it
from their store. She's like, find it, find some ice,
put it on top, Like.

Speaker 3 (01:53):
I'm checking out. Why didn't she charge me for a
bag of ice? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:56):
Sure she didn't.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
Actually no, I'm not sure.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
So you just went to the ice cooler, yeah, grabbed
the bag of ice and I rolled out.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
Yeah, wow, that's what she told me to do.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
A local DJ arrested for stealing bag of ice had
whole foods.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
I just thought like maybe it's so hot these days
are just like, hey, grab a bag of ice, like
that's that's nice. No, No, if I got to help
bag my groceries in the first place, can.

Speaker 4 (02:29):
It's nothing is free in this world.

Speaker 3 (02:30):
She made it act like it was free. Crazy, right, Yeah,
I mean I don't know. I thought she told me
to take it, so I took it for you.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
Well, you know what, you've done enough business with them,
I'm sure. Oh yeah, I don't even know who it was.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
It was Whole Foods. Amount of times I've left a
bag because I didn't notice it trying to gather my
stuff full of stuff.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (02:51):
Yeah. Plus I know I had two avocados and one
wasn't there when I got home, So it's fair.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
So you lost an avocado and transitionated it.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
Yeah, a bag of ice.

Speaker 6 (03:02):
She probably charged you for two avocados.

Speaker 3 (03:05):
So yeah, she did exactly.

Speaker 6 (03:06):
So at Hide and Sight you paid for the ice exactly.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
Why did they call ice ice?

Speaker 3 (03:12):
That's a good question. That's a question my kiddo would ask.

Speaker 4 (03:15):
What are you trying to say?

Speaker 2 (03:17):
I'm an eight year old.

Speaker 3 (03:18):
No, it's a good question.

Speaker 7 (03:19):
Boy.

Speaker 4 (03:19):
Why don't we just say, oh, I really need some
frozen water.

Speaker 3 (03:22):
Cubes, frozen water cubes.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
Yeah, I need frozen water cubes so bad. Can you
stop a whole foods so I can steal some? You
know what I mean for you canis Yeah. Well, I'm
proud of you for doing your first criminal activity and
the first crime ever in life. And his goodie two
shoes herself just out here taking whole foods now one
bag of ice at the time. Yeah, Producer Pool.

Speaker 4 (03:44):
Anyway, what's up with you?

Speaker 5 (03:46):
Oh, yesterday I thought I was an Ability of the
kids situation.

Speaker 3 (03:50):
Oh I saw your video.

Speaker 8 (03:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (03:51):
I dropped my son off, him and his friend off
at Netflix house and I go over here to Spring Valley,
right here in a Spring Valley and told way to
get some gas thing I.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
Know, police chase.

Speaker 6 (04:01):
Oh, it was more than the police. It was like
forty cars, cop cars just pulled in.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
What time was that?

Speaker 6 (04:08):
It was a five thirty six six?

Speaker 4 (04:10):
Yes, yeah, I got called that.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
Well they did. That's why I went on.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
Gen.

Speaker 6 (04:16):
I was like, where you at, Billy the kid? Because
I didn't know.

Speaker 4 (04:18):
I don't follow you. I have to follow I didn't
see it.

Speaker 5 (04:22):
Well, somebody crashed up under the up under the toll
way and then the other car took off to you know,
heading north.

Speaker 6 (04:29):
And everybody just took off after him. And I was like,
what is going on?

Speaker 5 (04:33):
And I was asking the guy, uh that works at
the story he goes their robbery suspects or something.

Speaker 6 (04:38):
I was like what.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
Yeah. I was coming down the toll way a little
after six and I saw so many cars, cop cars
going up. Yeah, just zoom zoom, zoom zoom. And I
was like, what is happening him? Our friend is in town,
our friend raised in town. And he's like what. And
he's from La, he lives in LA, and he's like,
this feels like LA. He's like, I feel like I'm
at home.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
Yeah, I know. I don't know what's going on.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
And we were going downtown and then I get an
alert on my phone that I think, Candas, you're going
to talk about that all lanes on the toll way
are shut down.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
Yes, I'm definitely talking about that.

Speaker 4 (05:10):
Okay, good? It was. It was crazy.

Speaker 5 (05:13):
Addison Richardson Dallas and the highway patrol all chasing and they.

Speaker 4 (05:18):
Called me too, and I was like, yeah, they called me.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
They're like, hey, I don't know what you're doing right now,
but we're in the Chase, We're coming up to your neighborhood. Yeah,
and I was like, you didn't help. Well, I was like,
I got a dinner. I'm so sorry. I was off
the clock. Typically if I did any dinner, I would
activate right and I didn't know put on my tactical
gear and yeah, regulators, Yeah, regulator.

Speaker 8 (05:45):
Tough stories on the tents with Billy the Kid in the.

Speaker 3 (05:48):
Morning only on the one two point nine.

Speaker 2 (05:51):
Speaking ahead right now, canislofez I got a big prize
for first caller of the day. You do today? Yeah,
like we switched it off. I don't know what's going on,
but it's tickets to a big show.

Speaker 4 (06:00):
Oh yeah, So I'm just giving you a little heads up.
It's one of your favorite one of.

Speaker 3 (06:04):
Your favorites, one of my favorites.

Speaker 4 (06:06):
He might be a Ginger singer. Oh and not Rick.

Speaker 3 (06:09):
Astley, No, definitely not that, but I like that song.

Speaker 4 (06:15):
What's going on here?

Speaker 3 (06:16):
You're talking about the mess in this area yesterday? Well,
a truck carrying a thirty four thousand pound industrial oven
hit a bridge on the Dallas Doore Tollway yesterday. That
was what was causing all of those lanes to back up.
Southbound because this thing just spilled right out onto the roadway.

Speaker 4 (06:30):
Oh it was bad.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
All lanes southbound right here at six thirty five shut down.
And the crazy part was is I got an alert,
like an amber alert type did alert on my phone. Wow,
I've never gotten one of those. And my friend Ray,
who I was with, yeah, is in LA, and he's like,
I've never gotten one of those.

Speaker 4 (06:48):
Get shut down.

Speaker 2 (06:49):
My phone took over for a minute and said emergency
update on my phone and it said all lanes shut
down for an emergency southbound on the tollway at six
thirty five.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
I don't know if it was maybe it was the
thing who was talking about.

Speaker 4 (07:02):
No that was that was another thing going on.

Speaker 3 (07:04):
Yeah, I mean all this was right during rush hour.
I was looking at the like overhead cam and I
was like, oh, there's a Dix. There's our view.

Speaker 8 (07:11):
You know.

Speaker 3 (07:12):
It was good to see like our view from a
different you know. Later the day it was weird was massive, massive.
Thankfully no injuries were reported, but it took a while
for people to even figure out what this thing was.
There was just pieces of it everywhere. It just felt
right off the truck. But the comments were wild. People
were like we got a big issue cook it up,
and then people like the toy is cooked like so

(07:35):
it gave people kind of a laugh knowing you know,
traffic was only the worst of this situation yesterday. But yeah,
if you see a picture of it, that's what it was.

Speaker 2 (07:43):
I'm g O glad nobody was hurt because I was
forty minutes late for dinner because of it.

Speaker 4 (07:47):
But yeah, it was bad.

Speaker 3 (07:48):
Yeah, guys. The Sheriff's department handling the Nancy Guthrie search
has been sued by three Tucson residents who were wrongly
identified as being connected to the case. So do you
hear that guy there arrested at gunpoint? They questioned him
for four hours and then released him. I guess he
was traveling in a van near the area or something.
He's now suing for two point five million dollars. Then

(08:11):
another man who was handcuffed outside his home while they
searched the property suing for five hundred thousand dollars. And
then a woman is suing for two hundred and fifty
thousand dollars for damage is caused by deputies executing a
search warrant.

Speaker 4 (08:23):
Everybody's suing.

Speaker 3 (08:24):
What a mess? This PMA County Sheriff's Department is going
through they have that reality show. I just can't believe
this is real.

Speaker 4 (08:32):
I'm actually gonna ssuehim too.

Speaker 3 (08:33):
You might as well.

Speaker 4 (08:34):
Everybody else is.

Speaker 3 (08:35):
Yeah, but can you imagine is that worth it two
point five million if you were just you know, questioned
by the police, arrested and then released.

Speaker 2 (08:42):
I mean that's the thing is people now sue for
everything A little yeah, scare. I mean I think that
person's saying that he was detained, and yes, pretty much,
he's saying he was kidnapped.

Speaker 3 (08:52):
Yeah for four hours.

Speaker 4 (08:53):
For four hours, that was pretty much kidnapped by the police.

Speaker 3 (08:55):
Right, Yeah, technically, guys, this is the best news ever.
She has Silverstone and she's coming back as share for
a Clueless series at Paramount Plus. The show will take
place at thirty years after the movie. I could not
be more excited for this.

Speaker 2 (09:11):
I mean, it is an old school classic.

Speaker 3 (09:14):
It is that movie. I mean it like really opened
my eyes to the world of like, you know, Beverly
Hills and just like how the other side lives. Ah, yes, exactly.
I can't wait. So Cher is now a successful business
owner and mom. She I guess thinks she has it
all figured out until her daughter starts high school, which
has her feeling clueless. The original movies director and producer

(09:37):
are part of this. It doesn't have a title or
expected release date yet, but if it sounds familiar last year,
it was in the works at Peacock and then it
got scrapped.

Speaker 4 (09:46):
Okay, that's what I'm thinking of it. I'm like, I
thought this already happened.

Speaker 3 (09:48):
Yeah, no, it was a thing, and then it wasn't
a thing. Now it's back for Paramount Plus. No word
yet on if any other returning cast members will be back,
but I would love to see Paul Rudd as Stacy
dash Donald's faison. Please join the show. The soundtrack was epic.
It's gonna be huge.

Speaker 4 (10:05):
Should I watch the original? Yeah, you would love.

Speaker 3 (10:09):
It just for the music, I bet.

Speaker 2 (10:12):
How do I know all the quotes from the movie?
Like I know, Yeah, I've never seen the movie. Who's
watched it multiple times?

Speaker 5 (10:20):
A couple of times, but back in the day I
have I need to refresh my Yeah memory, Honey, he
watches every girly movie possible, I mean everything.

Speaker 4 (10:28):
I'm not mad at.

Speaker 2 (10:31):
Yeah he loves oh yeah, he totally relates to clueless
as if.

Speaker 3 (10:34):
Yeah, all right, well, us ladies are excited about it.

Speaker 8 (12:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (12:16):
But if you ever want to hear what a leprechn
sounds like, all you're gonna do is ask Cannislopez to
do her pirate accent. Oh yeah, yeah, there it is.
I'm not sure that's a pirate, but it's not either way.
I love your Irish pirate accents. Okay, real or fake news.
I'm gonna give you three headlines. You gotta tell me
which one is the fake story? Which one is the

(12:37):
fake story? In the news is crazy, so sometimes this
is difficult. Headline number one, are you ready? Yep? Wyoming
woman set to Mary gets cold feet, so she burns
down the church. Wyoming woman set to Mary gets cold feet,
so she burns down the church.

Speaker 3 (12:56):
Okay, all right?

Speaker 2 (12:57):
Headline number two, Yeah, have done that a couple of times.

Speaker 4 (13:03):
I'm kidding kind of. Headline number two.

Speaker 2 (13:05):
North Carolina woman charged with assault after stabbing her boyfriend
with hot dog?

Speaker 8 (13:12):
What wait?

Speaker 6 (13:12):
What?

Speaker 2 (13:13):
North Carolina woman charged with a salt after stabbing her
boyfriend with hot dog?

Speaker 3 (13:18):
Okay, what dog is that?

Speaker 4 (13:20):
Headline number three.

Speaker 2 (13:22):
Researchers say people who say they're quote five minutes away
are on average actually twenty one minutes away. Researchers say
people who say they're quote five minutes away on average
are actually twenty one minutes away.

Speaker 3 (13:38):
That's funny.

Speaker 4 (13:38):
All right, you got.

Speaker 2 (13:39):
Three headlines right there? Which one is the fake story?
Cannis Lopez I think hasn't won anything this week?

Speaker 3 (13:46):
No, not at all?

Speaker 2 (13:47):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (13:47):
I mean if you go.

Speaker 2 (13:48):
One week without winning anything, not one time, that is
going to be a record on the show.

Speaker 3 (13:52):
Yeah, it will be. Can you heat to me?

Speaker 2 (13:55):
It is? Yeah, it is the heat so well, you
could turn it around today. Do you want to take
the first kess? If you want to pass it to poop?

Speaker 3 (14:01):
Oh, this is a hard one again today, I guess
I'll go first today. Lock him in for the hot
dog stabbing? Really yeah?

Speaker 2 (14:09):
Okay, oh you were going to pick that, of course
you won't. All right, let's lock that in. You were
locked in a producer, pooh aka la poo poo aka clearance.

Speaker 4 (14:21):
Theo ak, theod.

Speaker 2 (14:22):
I got a lot of aka, got a lot of nicknames, profess,
professor poo.

Speaker 5 (14:27):
Which one do you think is the fake story? Lock
me in for that first story? Burning down a church?

Speaker 6 (14:33):
Okay, because I'm scared you don't.

Speaker 2 (14:36):
Want to get married to you burn down the church.
It's like a reasonable thing to.

Speaker 3 (14:39):
Do in a lifetime movie, it really does.

Speaker 2 (14:43):
And a bad one for sure. Let's lock that in.
It was going into the weekend with a big fat
dub me. Yes, I win today because the fake story

(15:04):
was actually the last one. Researchers say, people who say
they're five minutes away or actually twenty one minutes away,
I just made that up.

Speaker 4 (15:13):
Sounds about right.

Speaker 3 (15:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (15:14):
If I say I'm five minutes away, I'm definitely just
getting in the car.

Speaker 3 (15:17):
Yeah, you know what I mean, I'm on the to way.

Speaker 2 (15:20):
If who says he's five minutes away, he's just getting
the shower.

Speaker 4 (15:24):
To leave.

Speaker 2 (15:25):
If Kenna says she's five minutes away, she's five minutes.
That's the difference between us. All right, let's get to
the real stories. This is a wild one. So North
Carolina woman charged with the salt after stabbing her boyfriend
with a hot dog. Yeah, her name is oh, I
can't pronounce this, oh Zimone Williams, twenty one, was arrested

(15:50):
in Greenville, North Carolina, after Warren say she stabbed her
boyfriend in the chest, punched him, and cut him in
the arm and face. And now she's charged with the
salt with a deadly weapon along with the domestic violence charge.
What I'm not sure? Oh, this is why she stabbed
him with a hot dog that was still on the
roasting fork. Okay, that's what the story says. Okay, show

(16:17):
you So there they were roasting wieners. What you do
over our campfire? You know? Yeah, people do that, Yeah,
roast and he got the little fork thing, so it's
on the fork. They got into it when that was
going down, and she's like, bro boink stabbed him in the.

Speaker 4 (16:35):
Chest with it. He's okay, thankfully, he's all right. But
she's not. She's in jail.

Speaker 2 (16:40):
She's in the county jail right now, Come on, simone, Yeah,
take the take it off the fork and just throw
the hot dog at him.

Speaker 3 (16:48):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly.

Speaker 4 (16:53):
Yeah, you'll feel better.

Speaker 2 (16:56):
But nobody's gonna get hurt. Yeah, no, jail time, you
never know. Headline the other real headline that was very disturbing.
This is just sometimes I look at these stories and
I'm like, there's no way. So this woman got cold feet.
She was getting get ready to get married. She's getting
cold feet. So she's like, all right, what do I do.

(17:17):
Her name is Lenita Moreno. She was supposed to wed
her fiance at the Later Day Saints' Church, but she
began having second thoughts, so she headed to a nearby
Ace hardware store where she bought two lighters, which she
took back to the place of worship and set this
whole entire thing on fire using what as a starter.

Speaker 4 (17:41):
Tampons. No, you lie Yep. She dug in her purse.

Speaker 2 (17:46):
She goes, I don't know, I got two lighters and
what else do I have? Oh?

Speaker 4 (17:49):
Here we go?

Speaker 3 (17:51):
Wow?

Speaker 2 (17:54):
Yep. Authorities say the fire caused one hundred and eight
thousand dollars in damages. Oh man, Lenita, Okay, this is
where it gets weird. Lenita Moreno, also known as Tessa.
Oh how do you get Tessa out of Lenita? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (18:09):
This sounds more like Veronica activities.

Speaker 2 (18:13):
Either way, she was thrown in jail and she might
be there for a while for arson and many other things.
But yeah, wow though, Yeah, but did she get married? No?
You know what, Honestly, I still think this might be
the more rational decision. No, good morning, It's Bailly the Kid,
Candicelow pass, pretty Serre?

Speaker 4 (18:33):
Who is here? We got a dirty little secret coming
up at seven thirty.

Speaker 2 (18:36):
Also eight thirty, Wheel a Misfortune today, which you know
last week we did it every day. Now we're just
gonna start doing it on Fridays because people liked it.
They were like, hey, no, we do it. Do it
do it on Fridays for fun, for fun.

Speaker 4 (18:48):
For who?

Speaker 3 (18:49):
Right? Two of us?

Speaker 4 (18:52):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (18:52):
I lost last time and I had to eat an
entire bag of Taylor Farm's parasite lettuce.

Speaker 3 (18:56):
Yeah, you're fine.

Speaker 2 (18:58):
Surprisingly, okay, Ye, surprisingly I felt better. I think it's
because I'm built in the nineties. I think gen X
just different, you know what I mean. I know you're
an elder millennial. Yeah, so you wouldn't relate. No, not
at all, Impusa boomer. No either way, I was fine.
But we'll play that at eight thirty. So we play
trivia and then what happens is whoever loses has to

(19:18):
spin the wheel of misfortune with just ridiculous things on it.
So A thirty for that. I saw this, and this
is funny. We haven't done age yourself in a while.

Speaker 3 (19:26):
Yah, we'll do.

Speaker 2 (19:27):
Aide yourself with blank, aige yourself sometimes we've done with
an old school snack. Aide yourself with a restaurant that's
no longer around today. Age yourself with an old school
struggle that would break people today. Age yourself with an
old school struggle that would break people today. You can
always call us at eight three three seven, eight seven

(19:47):
one o two nine or at Billy on the radio
if you want to shoot me a DM. I can
read it a little bit later on. And this was
number What, there's no numbers, it's just number one on
the list that I saw waiting by the phone for
a call.

Speaker 4 (20:00):
Oh yes, okay, And it took me back.

Speaker 3 (20:04):
Yeah, my kiddo and his cousin in California, who's coming
this weekend. They've been into facetiming lately. And we were
in the car and she called and the connection was
batter the camera wasn't working something like that. He was like,
I'll just you know, just call me back in like
thirty minutes, right. Him waiting for her to call just
reminded me of this, like he got a taste of
what it's like. I'm like, he's like, should I call her?

(20:24):
I was like, no, just wait, you said thirty minutes.

Speaker 4 (20:27):
That's kind of cute too.

Speaker 2 (20:28):
Yeah, but we used to have to do this all
the time.

Speaker 3 (20:30):
Yeah, all the time.

Speaker 2 (20:31):
And I thought like I remember a time, and I know,
I saw like old school unk over here. Yeah, when
we didn't have cell phones, and I thought, oh my gosh,
I remember like my first crush saying she was gonna
call me, Yeah, i'll call you later on. I'm like,
what time, Like, I don't know, around five, And I
would wait, I couldn't do anything. I couldn't go out right,
God forbid. I sent her to our answering machine. Remember

(20:54):
answering machines?

Speaker 3 (20:55):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (20:56):
Coming home seeing that red light?

Speaker 3 (20:58):
Yeah, oh I got a message.

Speaker 5 (20:59):
Hey, I gotta raise it because one of my teachers called.

Speaker 4 (21:02):
Oh that was the thing.

Speaker 2 (21:06):
Age yourself with blank, age yourself with somebody else, put
writing everything down by hand.

Speaker 4 (21:13):
Oh I still do that.

Speaker 2 (21:14):
Yeah, I like, Pa, I'm old school, but before you
know smartphones, people actually had to write things down. Yep.

Speaker 4 (21:21):
And now people don't even know how to write.

Speaker 2 (21:22):
No, So penmanship of these kids. And I know I
sound like a grandpa.

Speaker 6 (21:26):
It's awful.

Speaker 4 (21:27):
No, I bet it's awful. Have you seen a kid write? Yeah,
they don't know how to write.

Speaker 6 (21:31):
My kids, I was like, what is that?

Speaker 4 (21:33):
I know my son's fifteen. I'm like, writer, what is this?

Speaker 3 (21:35):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (21:36):
What do you talk about? You can read it plain
this day? I was like no, I can't.

Speaker 2 (21:39):
No, And it's like I want to love it, Like
you wrote me a Father's Day card and I go,
I bet you this is really nice?

Speaker 4 (21:46):
Can you translate it for me? He's like, really good? Oh,
here's one.

Speaker 2 (21:51):
Here's an old school struggle that would break people today
hunting down a payphone.

Speaker 4 (21:57):
Oh, getting a time machine for that.

Speaker 6 (22:00):
Yeah, especially when you had a page and you had
to make a call.

Speaker 3 (22:03):
Yeah, forgot about payphone?

Speaker 4 (22:06):
Yeah, and then you have a quarter?

Speaker 3 (22:07):
Yeah, hunt a quarter of using the payphone.

Speaker 2 (22:09):
Trying to explain that to somebody who was young, like
my son when he was younger, we saw a payphone
somewhere and he's like WHOA, Like what because I still
don't you know? Now I look at one and I'm
like that's weird. But I'm like, yeah, you would have
to He goes, why didn't they just use their cell phones?

Speaker 4 (22:24):
Right? They didn't have any?

Speaker 2 (22:26):
Yeah, and then you'd have to have a quarter, and
you'd put it in there, and then you could dial
the number if you give somebody the number to that payphone,
and they could call you exactly that you would pay
someone and put that number in the you know, pager.
But then you'd have to put your code so they
knew it was you totally, because everybody had a code.

Speaker 4 (22:43):
Didn't you have a code? What was your code?

Speaker 3 (22:45):
I'm not saying it because it's also my bank pen.

Speaker 6 (22:47):
Now I'll tell you mine.

Speaker 5 (22:49):
Mine was one eight seven ye oh, yeah, I think
mine was like mine was actually nine, like nine one
one or something, yeah.

Speaker 4 (22:58):
Because it was like my birthday September first or something.

Speaker 2 (23:02):
Age A struggle that would break people today, an old
school struggle, and this person wrote down something funny that
sparked a memory is finding out if you had a
snow day. And this was big for me because I
grew up up North and it wasn't like now where
they just text you. You would have to sit in
front of the television or listen to the radio and

(23:23):
wait for them to say your school's name in alphabetical order.

Speaker 3 (23:26):
Yep. You watch that scroll on the TV and you're like,
do I get dressed? Do I not get dressed?

Speaker 6 (23:34):
But yet?

Speaker 4 (23:36):
But we would celebrate it like we just hit the
power ball. Yeah, because when.

Speaker 2 (23:41):
We saw our school's name, oh, it was like wow,
it was only.

Speaker 3 (23:48):
Once a year pretty much, but oh yeah.

Speaker 2 (23:51):
Here, Okay, I didn't know this. But nowadays all you
do is like we'll probably not have it. In the
night before it's like you get a text like no school.

Speaker 4 (23:59):
Yeah, so true. Okay.

Speaker 2 (24:02):
One of the last ones had me laughing. An old
school struggle that would break people today. Sharing a party line.

Speaker 4 (24:08):
Oh yeah, I never did this.

Speaker 3 (24:11):
Did you get three way calls?

Speaker 2 (24:12):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (24:12):
Three way? What was a party line? I don't remember
party lines.

Speaker 8 (24:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (24:16):
I think you could call and get like ten people
on it.

Speaker 2 (24:18):
Yeah, okay, so several people would get together on one
party line. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (24:22):
I think you had to pay though.

Speaker 4 (24:23):
Oh yeah, that was extra.

Speaker 6 (24:25):
It caused the extra to get a party line. Really,
so we just do three ways.

Speaker 5 (24:28):
Like I'd call candiceys three way and she could call you,
and you could call somebody else.

Speaker 3 (24:32):
Not everybody had it, so you had to get the
person that paid for the three way service.

Speaker 2 (24:36):
This is gonna sound so old, but I remember getting
excited when my family got a are you ready but
a cordless phone?

Speaker 3 (24:43):
Oh?

Speaker 6 (24:43):
Oh yeah, you could tell me nothing. I'd walk outside.

Speaker 4 (24:47):
Yeah, I thought I was.

Speaker 3 (24:49):
Oh yeah. Do you remember getting the caller ID box?

Speaker 4 (24:52):
Oh big, I can see who's calling.

Speaker 5 (24:56):
Speaking of phones, your girlfriend, you could call a person
till after nine o'clock and then the minutes are free.

Speaker 2 (25:06):
Oh yeah, you got Yeah, and if somebody called you
at like eight thirty, you're like, what are you doing? Right?

Speaker 8 (25:13):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (25:13):
Stop it right now.

Speaker 2 (25:14):
Three nights and weekends, yeah, remember, yeah, God, on the
weekends you can shut me up.

Speaker 8 (25:24):
Tough stories on the deads with Billy the Kid in the.

Speaker 3 (25:26):
Morning only on the new Mixed one or two point nine.

Speaker 4 (25:30):
I am cracking up.

Speaker 2 (25:31):
I gotta get to these calls, these old school struggles.
I got some good ones. Renee had such a funny one. Well,
we'll talk to her a little bit later on Leslie too.
So many good struggles from back in the day. The
kids would never understand.

Speaker 3 (25:42):
Nowadays, never understand back in my day.

Speaker 2 (25:45):
Yeah, okay, Candae Slowpez, what is going on?

Speaker 3 (25:48):
Well, the Plano City Council just approved a new one
point for million dollar police drone program. So these will
be different than the ones that they're using right now.
These will launch from the tops of city buildings and
be operated by trained civilian staff who will communicate with dispatchers.
The goal is to help first responders get to emergencies
faster and improve overall situational awareness. Now there are some

(26:12):
concerns from residents though, about privacy. People are asking how
this footage will be used. They're telling those people these
cameras won't even turn on until they get to the scene.

Speaker 2 (26:22):
Sure.

Speaker 3 (26:23):
Yeah. They're also saying these will have special tech to
help them find missing people, identify suspects who may be
hiding or fleeing, and then also communicate with people at
the scene, and then eventually they'd be able to deliver
things like narcan and EpiPen. So really interesting stuff in Platida.

Speaker 4 (26:41):
Such a double edged short.

Speaker 2 (26:42):
Speaking of old school struggles, like technology you want to
embrace because there's so many good things that come out
of it. Yeah, then there's also like scary things that
you think of. And I'm just to the point in
life where there's cameras everywhere, right, so we're going to
be on camera? Do I want to accept it? Not necessarily,
but like the big deal about.

Speaker 3 (26:59):
These flows are Yeah, people are going crazy.

Speaker 2 (27:02):
About pole are freaking out because no matter where you go,
you're going to be spotted on a camera. Yeah, it's
just that's just the way it is, right. I don't
love it.

Speaker 3 (27:10):
Though, No, I definitely don't love it. I feel like
there's there's room for improvement.

Speaker 2 (27:14):
Then there's a part of me that wants to just
moon the cameras every time I see it, Like that's
the old.

Speaker 4 (27:19):
School in me.

Speaker 3 (27:20):
Yeah, Well I may do it if you want.

Speaker 2 (27:22):
If I see a Plano drone, I'm gonna have the
urge to moon it. I'm going through that, but I
know I want. I'm growing up, I know that. I know.

Speaker 3 (27:32):
Sure, guys. The State Fair of Texas was just named
number six and yelp's the top the state fair of
festival foods in the US. I feel like we should
be much higher on that list.

Speaker 2 (27:43):
First of all, I love a good list. I'm so
mad at that list number six. This is the best
fare in the world. Get your life together, whoever made this?

Speaker 3 (27:50):
Yeah, it is a big day for the fair though,
today though, because all the stuffed animals for the games
on the midway are getting delivered, which is really exciting.
The fair doesn't open until September twenty fifth, but how
fun that all the stuffies are gonna get delivered today.

Speaker 2 (28:04):
I always know it's getting close because last year we
walked to the fair, yeah, and it became like a
big deal and we gave away like five hundred tickets.

Speaker 3 (28:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (28:10):
I think we're already planning on to do it this year. Okay,
make it even bigger with more tickets.

Speaker 8 (28:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (28:15):
Good, I'm excited.

Speaker 3 (28:16):
I am too. A guy. Spider Man brand New Day
is predicted to earn well over two hundred million dollars
in theaters this weekend. It brought in fifty million just
last night at previews, which is the best Thursday preview
release post Pandemic and the third biggest in Hollywood history.
This movie is getting really great reviews. People who saw
it last night gave it a ninety eight percent positive score.

(28:39):
It's probably gonna knock the Odyssey down, But it's crazy
that Tom Holland and Zendaiya, who are in the Spider
Man movie are also in the Odyssey. Are they're going
to have like the number one and number two movies
of the week.

Speaker 4 (28:51):
Is that a record?

Speaker 3 (28:52):
I don't know. It's pretty remarkable.

Speaker 4 (28:53):
Is Spider Man good?

Speaker 3 (28:55):
Yes, it's honestly one of my favorites?

Speaker 4 (28:58):
Which one?

Speaker 3 (28:58):
Yeah? The first one for me though, the first?

Speaker 4 (29:01):
Yeah, okay, it was the best Spider Man.

Speaker 3 (29:04):
I mean that's tough. People love Tom Holland. Toby's who
got me into Spider Man.

Speaker 4 (29:10):
Who thinks Tom is hot? That's not the Yeah, cool,
I've never seen a Spider Man.

Speaker 3 (29:17):
Oh, okay, I'm seeing the first one. You need to
watch the second one.

Speaker 4 (29:20):
Okay, maybe i'll watch it this weekend.

Speaker 3 (29:22):
Yeah, you should, uh, real quick guys. Kesha is asking
fans to send her their teeth again, so she gave
out her PO box for this. Apparently this hobby started
in twenty eleven after a fan offered their child's lost
tooth and she turned it into jewelry. What I know
since then, I guess she's been making necklaces, airing, she
made a belt and she just like stores them around

(29:45):
her house in jars, which is like worse than the scabs.
Didn't we were talking about the scab jar.

Speaker 4 (29:53):
Collect scabs is the most disgusting thing ever.

Speaker 3 (29:55):
One of my science teachers did, that's that's fingernails.

Speaker 4 (29:59):
Oh yeah, I know, yeah what Yeah, we know somebody
who collects fingernails.

Speaker 2 (30:03):
Yeah we do, we do, yeah yeah yeah. And I'm
always really nice to them because I want to be
the last one to die.

Speaker 4 (30:12):
And he goes off.

Speaker 2 (30:15):
Super nice guy, like so nice you almost want to
normalize the fact that he collects toenails and fingernails. But
they're like, I can't do that.

Speaker 3 (30:23):
But teeth. Teeth is wild, just random people's teeth.

Speaker 4 (30:27):
So Kasha asks people where are they sending.

Speaker 3 (30:29):
The teeth to her PO box?

Speaker 2 (30:31):
In la Is Why does she want their teeth? Don't
get it.

Speaker 4 (30:34):
She makes jewelry.

Speaker 3 (30:35):
She makes jewelry. Yeah, I mean, do you want a
necklace with a random tooth on it? I mean you
have like a shark's tooth necklace?

Speaker 4 (30:41):
Yeah, but I don't have someone from mesquites too.

Speaker 3 (30:45):
Well, now you can will make it for you.

Speaker 2 (30:47):
That is insane. Human teeth necklace?

Speaker 3 (30:50):
Weird?

Speaker 4 (30:51):
What world are we living?

Speaker 8 (30:52):
It?

Speaker 3 (30:52):
A very weird one, very weird one. Guys. I'm Kana
Slowpezos are your Texas top stories.

Speaker 7 (30:58):
To promise you'll feel welcome to the Dirty Little Secret.

Speaker 2 (31:02):
Oh, it's on Mixed one or two point nine. Good morning,
Billy the Kid, Candice Lopez producer. Who is here Dirty
Little Secret? If you've got a secret eight three to
three seven eighty seven one two nine, it is time
to confess.

Speaker 4 (31:12):
Make it good? Okay, it could be anything. I don't care.

Speaker 2 (31:14):
If you want to DM me first and set it
up that way at Billy on the Radio on Instagram,
shoot me a message, we'll figure it out. Yeah, it's anonymous.
Promise we will not share your name or info.

Speaker 4 (31:25):
And you have one? How are you?

Speaker 2 (31:27):
Oh?

Speaker 10 (31:27):
I'm pretty good about you.

Speaker 2 (31:29):
I'm good okay, So what is going on you have
any confession, a secret.

Speaker 4 (31:32):
I'm ready for it.

Speaker 9 (31:33):
Okay, I need deep to tell me if I've just
lost my mind or what.

Speaker 10 (31:37):
So my twenty year high school reunion is this.

Speaker 3 (31:40):
Fall, boo, and.

Speaker 9 (31:44):
I am seriously considering hiring a hot Make sure y'all
want to make it very clear, very hot male escort
to be my date.

Speaker 2 (31:56):
Oh what, no, you are thinking about Okay, Alma, I
know you're thinking about hiring a hot male escort to
be your date for your twenty year high school reunion.

Speaker 10 (32:07):
Yes, now, I know this sounds ridiculous. Tear me out.
I was not a popular girl in high school.

Speaker 9 (32:14):
I was much heavier than I was, very shy, very nerdy,
and like I basically hid for all four years and
I did not go to any other reunion because I
just did not want to have to like relive any
of the garbage that was that experience. Right, But, like,
my life is very different now that I'm a full

(32:37):
grown adult, and now I look a lot different.

Speaker 3 (32:43):
I lost like eight.

Speaker 10 (32:45):
Pounds, I had changed my teeth. I feel a lot
more confident. In general.

Speaker 9 (32:54):
I'm very excited because I have a really great career.
I you know, I provide for myself and my entire
life is something that I'm just very proud of.

Speaker 2 (33:04):
Well that's you had a glow up. You had a
glow up.

Speaker 3 (33:06):
Yeah, that's awesome.

Speaker 9 (33:07):
I had a serious glow up. Yeah the twenty years
I got pretty and.

Speaker 10 (33:15):
Anyway, So like the thing that though, is that, like you.

Speaker 9 (33:18):
Know, like every good rom com, I don't have like
the guy at the end of the story, right, and
you want.

Speaker 4 (33:24):
The perfect picture.

Speaker 2 (33:25):
You want to show up to the reunion going look
at me, I'm hot, I got a great job, I
got a hot dude. Life is perfect.

Speaker 9 (33:34):
Yeah, legit, because you nailed it. Like, I know so
many of those girls that I went to school with,
like they they did not do the you know, college
career path, and they married and they have these beautiful
families and beautiful children, and they're going to be there
looking like they stepped directly out of an Instagram post.

Speaker 3 (33:53):
Do you know what I'm saying?

Speaker 2 (33:54):
Right, Is this the worst idea ever? I don't think
it's the worst idea ever.

Speaker 3 (33:59):
No, but they're like, aren't also exactly what they look
like on Instagram?

Speaker 2 (34:03):
No?

Speaker 3 (34:03):
No, nobody's ever exactly as they appear.

Speaker 2 (34:06):
No, but I don't know if that matters. I mean really,
because if you're going to the reunion, and and I
get why you would want to flex on everyone, especially
if you, you know, back in the day you were
considered to be quote unquote a nerd or whatever. Yeah,
and if it makes you feel better, I say, who cares.

Speaker 3 (34:22):
I mean, really, it's kind of a fun like social experiment.

Speaker 2 (34:26):
Just like it's not like if you were going to
see these people all the time that it'll be like,
don't get yourself into a lie that you can't really
live with. But if you're going to see him one
want and done.

Speaker 9 (34:36):
Have some fun, right, I mean, That's what I'm thinking,
and like and even if like I also was just thinking,
like how fun would it be to come up with
like the backstory of like how we met, you know
what I mean, Like we could have this like funny
little story and it could be so The other thing
is it could also just be like the dumbest thing
and it could be like so romy and Michelle, where
I get so found out.

Speaker 2 (34:57):
That's my only concern. My only concern is for and
this is the kind of thing that would happen to
me for some odd, weird, crazy reason. They're like wait,
I hired that guy before to be an escort. Yeah
that's great. Yeah, I mean I say it's fun, But
at the end of the day, would I do it.
Probably not. I say, you go in there on it. Yeah,
Like you go in there and you first of all,

(35:18):
I'm sure you can get an attractive man who you
would be proud of without paying them.

Speaker 4 (35:22):
One.

Speaker 2 (35:23):
Two, you sound fun, you know, you sound like you're
a good time and why not. And also just be
proud of being you. You had a glower with all this.
It almost might be a bigger flex in twenty twenty
six to say I'm having a good time. Look at me,
I'm hot, I'm successful, and I don't need a man.

Speaker 3 (35:38):
Right, all those posts are going around like all my
friends are having babies and getting married and I'm out
her booking trips or whatever.

Speaker 4 (35:45):
Yeah, you're catching flights, not.

Speaker 3 (35:46):
Feelings, you know, not the worst thing in the world.

Speaker 4 (35:48):
But do whatever you want. Listen.

Speaker 2 (35:50):
The only thing I would say, absolutely, whatever you do,
tell us so we can get.

Speaker 4 (35:53):
An update on it.

Speaker 9 (35:54):
Right, totally, I can't wait to tell you how it goes.

Speaker 2 (35:57):
Everybody, all right, well, let us know if you do
or not, and have fun with it and enjoy yourself. Really,
it's like it should be a matter of when you're
living your best life. You don't have to flex that
you're living your best life. People will just feel that energy. Yeah,
you know, so that's what you should do.

Speaker 10 (36:14):
I love it.

Speaker 3 (36:15):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 6 (36:15):
You're welcome.

Speaker 2 (36:16):
Let us know, hold on, stand, let us know what happens.
You don't want to hire something like that. That's a
lot we laugh about it. But where and where are
they coming from?

Speaker 3 (36:23):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (36:23):
Right, how would I even do that? I have no idea,
you know what I mean?

Speaker 3 (36:26):
Where do you go Craigslist? I don't know. Marketplace, Candace,
I have no idea. I'm just saying, yeah.

Speaker 2 (36:33):
I'll tell you exactly where to go and click my
link for a twenty percent discount.

Speaker 6 (36:38):
Oh god, he's.

Speaker 8 (36:40):
Going for Candace Court. He gets settled here with Billy
the Kid in the morning.

Speaker 2 (36:45):
All right, for the Honorable Judge Candace Lopez.

Speaker 4 (36:50):
I'm mixed one of two point nine.

Speaker 2 (36:52):
It's Billy the Kid, Candas is your producer Poo's here
And I'm laughing because for whatever reason, producer Poo has
been moaning a lot behind the scenes. Have you noticed this,
Like so, I secretly started recording him. Yeah, moaning. I
don't know what the moans are all about it. I
don't know, Like so when I say moans, they're not
really moans are like hmm, but it's something that doesn't

(37:15):
really pertain to what we're talking about.

Speaker 3 (37:16):
Yeah, the inflection is a little different, right, And it's
a it's a reaction that doesn't really I don't know.

Speaker 4 (37:22):
It's a weird reaction to something somebody will say.

Speaker 2 (37:24):
And I don't know if he's not paying attention, but
somebody will say something very like hey, I'm thinking about
hiring a male escort.

Speaker 4 (37:30):
And he's like.

Speaker 2 (37:31):
No, and I'm like what. So I started taking all
the little right and I save them.

Speaker 3 (37:41):
Do some seem like maybe he just saw like a
Chick fil A ad?

Speaker 4 (37:45):
That's more like.

Speaker 2 (37:48):
Then every once in a while you'll get one of
these too, aura, So I'm just saving them all, like
so just to let you know what's going on over here.

Speaker 3 (38:05):
No one's eating, by the.

Speaker 2 (38:06):
Way, No, no one was eating during any of these clips.
It's not like he just tried something good and he
was like.

Speaker 8 (38:12):
No.

Speaker 4 (38:12):
That was like, hey, I'm going to hire a male escort.

Speaker 6 (38:16):
That's what it was.

Speaker 4 (38:16):
From when we just did during the Secret Wild.

Speaker 2 (38:21):
Okay, good morning, all right, Candis Court, all rise, Let's
get serious. This is court, after all, this is certain
justice system in process.

Speaker 4 (38:29):
Here we go.

Speaker 2 (38:30):
If you have something for Candas you want her to
solve at Candas on air, At Candas on Air. Okay.
My parents are upset at me for something I'm not doing,
and I would love for you guys to talk about
it on Cannas Court. My daughter's first birthday is coming
up and I've decided not to have a party. I
just don't really get this trend of people having these big,

(38:52):
expensive birthday celebrations for one year olds with balloon arches,
carnival games, gift registries and things like that won't even
remember it. And people pick these themes for their kids
and the kids have no say so all they care
about is the cake. Okay, that's still all I care about.

(39:12):
It's a lot of pressure, and I've told my family
we won't be doing anything like that. My mom got
so upset and told me I would regret this someday,
and maybe sooner than I think. Oh now, I'm really
torn on what to do and who's right and who's wrong.
Cannas COURTD. Okay, so big birthday celebrations for kids. This

(39:33):
is a year celebration which I feel like is one
of the landmark birthdays.

Speaker 3 (39:37):
Oh yeah, I hate to say this, but I agree
with your mom. Yeah, I mean, first birthday parties have
never been about the kids. They're for you and your
family and to remember, you know, the kid. Maybe they're
having their first piece of cake, Maybe they're not. My
kid was that was his first piece of cake or
first taste of cake, and I like thrived in baking
that cake myself and sitting him up there.

Speaker 2 (40:00):
He told me, said something one time to me, and
I just never forget it. They were like, anything under
five is a memory for you. Yeah, anything over five
is a memory for the child.

Speaker 3 (40:09):
Yeah. I mean if you don't want that memory, then
don't do it. But also, no one says you have
to have a balloon arch or custom cookies or all
of these things people are doing on the internet just
to be extra.

Speaker 2 (40:19):
That was my thing.

Speaker 3 (40:20):
Beautiful and fun.

Speaker 4 (40:21):
They are, and if you want to do that, have
a blast.

Speaker 2 (40:23):
Yeah. However, you want to create your memories, create your memories.
But sometimes I think that we do overplan things and
we go all out.

Speaker 4 (40:30):
When we don't have to.

Speaker 3 (40:31):
Yeah, definitely.

Speaker 2 (40:32):
Some of my best memories are when I spent the
least amount of money on things.

Speaker 3 (40:36):
One of my birthday parties that was a picnic table
inside the garage my dad set up and they put,
you know, just a tablecloth over at a plastic one
and just me and my girlfriend's eating hot dogs and cake. Right, Yeah,
and you'll remember that got a bike that year.

Speaker 2 (40:49):
You remember that forever, and it was perfect and it
was great memories for you, and it didn't cost a
million dollars, so you don't have to go all out.
That would be my compromise is you know what your
mom is also trying to share in these celebrations. Yep,
And that's a tough balance sometimes it is because yeah,
it's not their child, but at the same time it's
their grandchild. They want to feel included. They're used to things.

(41:10):
I mean, parenting's rough because there's a lot of dynamics
going on. Yeah, but why not have a little celebration
even if you're like, hey, you know what, you want
to do it at your house, then we could just
come over and have a little party at your place.

Speaker 3 (41:20):
That's a good idea, tell your mom to throw it. Yeah,
maybe if you're just too stressed, you you.

Speaker 2 (41:24):
Got things going on, well then just easy, then you
throw it.

Speaker 4 (41:27):
I'll come over. We'll have a good time at your house.

Speaker 2 (41:29):
Maybe we can do a pool party, if you have
a pool, whatever the case may be. And there you go.
Because of course the kid's not going to remember their
year birthday party, no, but one day they might go.
I'd love to see picks of that. Did you did
we do a smash cake or something or whatever they do?

Speaker 3 (41:43):
Like the imagine saying no, honey, we didn't.

Speaker 6 (41:46):
We didn't dinner, we went to Applebee's.

Speaker 3 (41:48):
Yea, you aren't worth it. You weren't worth it unless
you're you know, just stress to the max and you
just don't have the capacity for it. But you have
to do something.

Speaker 4 (41:59):
Yeah, well I guess you do. You don't have to.

Speaker 3 (42:02):
I mean, I would think for your kids someday to
know that you did something, you know. I love looking
at the pictures with end so away. I was like balloon,
little balloon things going on, or a bubble machine going on,
and that was pretty much it. Some balloons and.

Speaker 4 (42:15):
I remember riders. My son's first birthday.

Speaker 2 (42:18):
I remember the MAVs had won the championship, and for
whatever reason, I remember, we had like a championship MAVs
hat and he was wearing it and when he smashed
his cake, he got cake all over it. And now
I'm a hoarder and I still have the hat. Oh so,
now he's fifteen and like, not a couple of years ago.
I showed him the pictures and he was like, oh man,
that's cool. Oh so you will create memories. They might
not remember it now, but they will eventually, and it

(42:40):
might be something they really appreciate. Yeah. No, I agree,
So I would rethink it.

Speaker 4 (42:43):
But that's just me.

Speaker 2 (42:44):
I'm not the judge. Cannics is the judge. You have
the official verdict.

Speaker 3 (42:47):
Yeah, I don't want you to regret this right now.
You're guilty of being a one and done Donna. Oh yeah,
this is a big moment. And celebrate yourself too. You've
made it a year of motherhood.

Speaker 4 (42:59):
She's not a party Patty.

Speaker 3 (43:01):
She's also that I think she's also don't don't don't
regret this. Do something. You don't have to have a
big blowout with carnival games and animals and things like that.
Just have a little cake and do something.

Speaker 4 (43:11):
I like that idea.

Speaker 2 (43:12):
She is guilty of Bena.

Speaker 3 (43:13):
And one and done, Donna.

Speaker 8 (43:16):
Yep, it's Texas tough stories on the tents with Billy's
the Kid in the.

Speaker 3 (43:20):
Morning only on the new Mix one or two point nine.

Speaker 2 (43:24):
Had a chance to go to Disneyland and coming up
next to We're doing this all day, so so many
chances to win at your trip airfare, hotel on us.
It's summer ween, so be ready canice what's going on?

Speaker 3 (43:33):
Well, our area right in front of our building yesterday
was an absolute mess. We had a police chase out front.
And then this truck that was carrying a thirty four
thousand pounds industrial on hit a bridge on the Dallas
or Tollway yesterday. This thing spilled out into the southbound lanes,
blocked up everything. There was pieces of this all over
the roadway. And this was right during rush hours.

Speaker 2 (43:54):
I was messed you right by six thirty five, I
think it actually hit the bridge, Yes, six thirty five
bridge it did. So I was going to they shut
all the lanes down. I'm trying to get downtown. I can't.
I was like, all right, so we go around and
then on the way back from dinner. There was about
fifty cop cars construction crews because I think they were
making sure the structure of the bridge was.

Speaker 3 (44:11):
Okay, oh okay, yeah, that makes sense, you know.

Speaker 2 (44:15):
But this thing was massive.

Speaker 3 (44:17):
Yeah, huge, and there were just parts of it everywhere.
People didn't know what this thing was until you know,
a few hours later. But no injuries were reported, thankfully,
but just fell right off that truck and people commenting,
we're having a ball with this, so saying we're cooked,
toways cooked. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (44:34):
And then there was a police chase. Yeah, yes, right
in the same area. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (44:38):
They were going north on the toll way.

Speaker 2 (44:40):
What did they do? Rob someone?

Speaker 6 (44:42):
Yeah, there's some robbery suspects. And I was like, what
was going on?

Speaker 5 (44:46):
They caught one guy up under the bridge, but the
other one took off and headed north and Addison Highway.
Patrol Dallas DBD chased them everywhere.

Speaker 4 (44:55):
There's so many cops.

Speaker 2 (44:57):
What's going on? I saw them go in the other
direction and by the way, I don't know where was from,
but I saw a cop car tesla undercover what yeah,
I mean out of nowhere, I see.

Speaker 3 (45:08):
Like a tesla, the truck, the cyber truck, no.

Speaker 4 (45:11):
An X, I think, oh was you know, like the suv?

Speaker 2 (45:14):
Yeah, and it's zooming north on the Toillway with lights
and sirens but no logos.

Speaker 4 (45:18):
Years I'm like, what is where are we at?

Speaker 3 (45:21):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (45:22):
It was kind of awesome, weird day.

Speaker 3 (45:24):
Up here in North Dallas yesterday. Guys. The Sheriff's department
handling the Nancy Guthrie sarch has been sued by three
Tucson residents who were wrongly identified as being connected to
the case. So you do you remember that first guy
that I guess was driving close to the area and
like a delivery van or something. He was arrested at
gunpoint and questioned for four hours and then release. Well,

(45:45):
he's suing for two point five million dollars. Then another
man who was handcuffed outside his home while they searched
the property, is suing for five hundred thousand dollars. And
then there's a woman suing for two hundred and fifty
thousand dollars for damages deputies executing a search warrant.

Speaker 2 (46:02):
Yeah, so they're all saying they got detained I legally,
and they were pretty much kidnapped and question for no reason.
But I'm like, well, no, there was reason. Right, you
were in the area where there was a crime and
they're just questioning you about what happened.

Speaker 3 (46:15):
Right, but weird, like group of random suspect non suspects
you know that are now fighting back.

Speaker 2 (46:21):
Got two point five million dollars because you got question
for four hours.

Speaker 3 (46:25):
Yeah that's a lot.

Speaker 2 (46:26):
Seems excessive.

Speaker 3 (46:27):
Yeah, I mean maybe he gets half and he's happy.

Speaker 4 (46:30):
You know, No, he would be well, he would be happy. Yeah,
taxpayers wouldn't.

Speaker 3 (46:34):
Be Yeah, definitely not. Guys, this is really good news.
Alicia Silverstone is coming back as a share for a
Clueless series at Paramount Plus. The show will take place
at thirty years after the movie. So in the show,
Cher is now a successful business owner and mom. So
she thinks she has it all figured out until her
daughter starts high school, which has her feeling clueless. I

(46:57):
could not be more excited about this.

Speaker 2 (46:59):
I didn't even know this was where this from icon
iconic line. I didn't know it's from that.

Speaker 4 (47:06):
You did it?

Speaker 3 (47:07):
Oh my gosh. Yeah, that's that's crazy. That movie just
changed my life, like just perspective. I just remember it
being so unique.

Speaker 4 (47:16):
What year to come out?

Speaker 3 (47:17):
I'd have to look that up. But I just remember
even the soundtrack too. When I heard that song Kids
in America or with the Kids in America, that one
was on the soundtrack, I thought, someday I'm gonna like
have a convertible and you did. Yeah, I did. Yeah,
listen to this song in it?

Speaker 4 (47:33):
Did you play that song?

Speaker 3 (47:34):
Absolutely?

Speaker 4 (47:34):
Did you scream?

Speaker 3 (47:36):
Pretty much?

Speaker 6 (47:37):
Okay?

Speaker 4 (47:37):
It came out in nineteen ninety five.

Speaker 3 (47:39):
Ninety Okay, that was gonna be my guess. Yeah. The
original movie director and producer are part of this. They
haven't said what the title is going to be or
when it would come out, but this was a whole
thing in the works with Peacock last year, then it
got scrapped. They haven't said whether cast members like Paul Rudd,
Stacy Dash or Donald Faison would join this show, but

(48:00):
I'm crossing my fingers because I'd love to see them
all back.

Speaker 4 (48:02):
Yeah, that'd be fun.

Speaker 3 (48:03):
It would be on Canaslopez. Those are your Texas top stories?

Speaker 4 (48:06):
Are you ready?

Speaker 7 (48:07):
It's Billy they get in the morning, Misfortune nine.

Speaker 2 (48:16):
Down, Let's start the wheel of misfortune. It's Billy the Kid,
Canislow Paz, producer poo. We did it all last week.
Now We're just gonna do it on Fridays because all
week I'd lose my mind.

Speaker 3 (48:23):
Oh yeah, that's enough. Once is enough.

Speaker 2 (48:25):
Yeah, I'm seeing a poo and a denim skirt last
week which went viral online. Don't remind me which, of
course it goes viral? Of course, of course, poo and
a Britney Spears crop top in some socks with sandals,
a Walmart fit. Walmart outfit was fire and people loved it.
I mean, I think it's close to a million views
at this point, is it really? I don't know, but

(48:46):
people now are going to stop poo in the streets. Hey,
aren't you the grown man?

Speaker 3 (48:51):
Where's the scooter?

Speaker 4 (48:52):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (48:54):
Yeah, wearing a Britney Spears early two thousands outfit, riding
a razor scooter all day? Some of the new things
on the wheel misfortune.

Speaker 4 (49:01):
Are we ready to go over there?

Speaker 2 (49:02):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (49:02):
What is it?

Speaker 2 (49:02):
We have new things where kids floaties all day? The
face swim floaties. Oh god, which would make sense today
because we're going to NRH two to party with everyone
after the show from eleven to one, come on by,
love to see you. Yeah, but if it doesn't land
on today, even today, it's embarrassing because you're a grown person.

Speaker 3 (49:24):
Well yeah makes sense, is right.

Speaker 2 (49:27):
But if you land like another day, if this happens,
this is going to be awful. Imagine just a random
Monday and we have something else doing. We'reing floaties all day?
What else we have? Take shots is on the wheel?
Still candases pick same moo?

Speaker 3 (49:43):
What is same move now?

Speaker 2 (49:44):
Same moo is a challenge where if you lose, you
have to call somebody of our choice and see how
many times you can say moo without them really going
what what are you doing?

Speaker 4 (49:55):
Right? We've done this before and it was so funny.

Speaker 2 (49:57):
We had to call our boss and say it back
in the day and we're like, hey, we were just
seeing what you're up mew, and he was like, what
what you're up to? So it's funny. That'd be a
good one. There's also move over three left or three right,
so if you land on that, you have to move
left or right, so you have the choice of whatever's
three left or right.

Speaker 3 (50:17):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (50:17):
There's Instagram takeover, which we would control the loser's Instagram
all day. There's sing all day, so you could no
longer talk and you would have to sing everything you say.
Good yeah, exactly. Cannics would actually love that. There's face tats,
temporary face tats, there's wax a body part.

Speaker 3 (50:35):
Who picks the body part?

Speaker 4 (50:37):
Good question?

Speaker 3 (50:38):
Okay, I think you get to pick it if you
land on.

Speaker 2 (50:40):
No, if we would get to pick it, there's no way.
It'd have to be reasonable. There's no way we're gonna
let you pick your own body part.

Speaker 6 (50:48):
Why not?

Speaker 4 (50:49):
So let's get to it. Are you ready?

Speaker 2 (50:51):
Created here we go. Let's do the Wheel of Misfortune, right,
thank you too. Junior of course, who does traffic for us.
He also is are our host for Willa Misfortune. He
does the trivia and he does a lot of research,
so thank you, and he makes it very fair.

Speaker 3 (51:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (51:07):
So when you lose, you lose, you spin the wheel.
We don't complain about it. This is non biased. I
don't control the questions. I think we're ready when you are,
so we chime in with our name. Yes, last time
we played it was Pooh lost, but we've all lost.

Speaker 6 (51:21):
Yeah you lost. Last time? You had to eat the salad.

Speaker 4 (51:25):
No, I had to eat the Yeah I.

Speaker 2 (51:28):
Did last Yeah? Yeah, I had to eat the bag
of tailor Farms lettuce and I did not get sick.

Speaker 4 (51:35):
My stomach is built like different.

Speaker 2 (51:39):
I think in radio we have survived so much leftover
food and just filth. My stomach was like parasite. So
they're sattin outs in the breakroom, lukewarm for hours.

Speaker 4 (51:56):
So what's a parasite guidelines?

Speaker 8 (51:59):
Here?

Speaker 2 (51:59):
All right, here we go. Let's start the trivia. Question
number one five questions. Whoever gets the least amount of
questions loses.

Speaker 4 (52:06):
Let's do it all right.

Speaker 2 (52:07):
Here we go.

Speaker 11 (52:09):
What river forms most of the border between Texas and Mexico?

Speaker 2 (52:13):
Billy the Rio Grand You are correct? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (52:18):
Okay, okay, up one, all right?

Speaker 11 (52:22):
Question number two? What famous California zip code became a house?

Speaker 3 (52:28):
God?

Speaker 2 (52:30):
Nine oh two? One oh man, you're.

Speaker 3 (52:34):
Finish. I don't know.

Speaker 2 (52:37):
No, you don't have to listen.

Speaker 6 (52:38):
It seems unfair here.

Speaker 11 (52:43):
But what if if I changed it and he got
it wrong because he didn't listens.

Speaker 4 (52:46):
To the question.

Speaker 3 (52:46):
That's that's why i'd ever jump. Okay, it's exactly.

Speaker 4 (52:50):
You might be faking me out, man, I'm a trickster.

Speaker 6 (52:52):
Yeah, that's fine, that's fine.

Speaker 3 (52:54):
All right, here we go.

Speaker 11 (52:56):
What is the largest organ in the human.

Speaker 2 (53:01):
That was Billy?

Speaker 4 (53:02):
Again?

Speaker 11 (53:02):
Before I finished?

Speaker 4 (53:03):
Skin?

Speaker 11 (53:04):
Correct your skin I think you've got to sit out
for the rest of the questions.

Speaker 4 (53:10):
No, I'm playing all right, No, I do have to
sit out, So now am I immune?

Speaker 6 (53:16):
Kind of?

Speaker 2 (53:17):
There's only two left between Candice and producer Pooh, I'll
sit out.

Speaker 11 (53:21):
Okay, all right, here we go. Which Texas born artist
is known as the Queen of That was poo Selena?

Speaker 3 (53:39):
Question question one more question?

Speaker 4 (53:41):
Question which you could tie.

Speaker 2 (53:43):
There will be a tie breaker, but if Poo gets
this question, then you lose.

Speaker 11 (53:49):
All right, here we go. What city is the TV
show The Office set in?

Speaker 6 (53:55):
Poo? That was?

Speaker 4 (53:57):
It was close, but that was Pooh?

Speaker 3 (53:58):
Are you serious?

Speaker 5 (54:00):
That's uh, Pennsylvania City, Cannas.

Speaker 2 (54:04):
Oh god, I think it goes to candas you're getting
because he han't.

Speaker 3 (54:10):
A brain for I was thinking it was Stanford.

Speaker 4 (54:12):
But Billy, Oh, it wasn't Stanford.

Speaker 3 (54:14):
It is Connecticut.

Speaker 4 (54:16):
Is that your final guest?

Speaker 3 (54:17):
Oh god? What is it?

Speaker 4 (54:18):
Ain't that Branton.

Speaker 6 (54:21):
Was going to say you two for one? Right?

Speaker 4 (54:26):
Yes?

Speaker 6 (54:26):
Well was that five questions? Yeah, so Candace loses.

Speaker 2 (54:29):
Wait, no, I thought that was that was the I didn't.

Speaker 3 (54:32):
Even get one to swear the same. But I was wrong. Scranton.
That's Scranton.

Speaker 2 (54:42):
Whatever, Oh my god, I hate.

Speaker 5 (54:48):
I know you, my sister, but sorry about Look, don't
be too excited.

Speaker 3 (54:54):
I might land on something past point cana is pig.

Speaker 2 (54:58):
That is a good point she could land on as
the l She could land on Candas's pick, you will
spin the Wheel of misfortune coming up next? Sure you ready?

Speaker 7 (55:09):
It's Billy they get in the Morning's Wheel Misfortune point nine.

Speaker 4 (55:17):
Yes it is, and Cannis Lopez has lost. I know,
and I don't love to see it good.

Speaker 2 (55:24):
I don't really love to see Cannas lose because she's
like our little sister, so we want to protect her.

Speaker 4 (55:29):
But I also don't like to see myself lose, and
I usually always lose it.

Speaker 2 (55:35):
Everything so so sad.

Speaker 4 (55:39):
All right, So we play trivia.

Speaker 2 (55:40):
Whoever loses the trivia has to spin the Wheel of misfortune,
just to heads up so you know what's on the wheel.
It could be everything from take shots for the rest
of the show. She could be sing all day instead
of talk. It could be Cannas's pick. Yeah is something
that she might like. It could be past the l
So even though you lose, you could pass the punishment
to me or pooh, And we do have to go

(56:00):
to n RH two O today from eleven to one.
We're gonna be out there hanging out, so come by,
so whatever it is that punishment might be existing out
there as well. Yeah, are we ready to spend the
whel Get over there, Cannais you gotta spin this wheel?
I know?

Speaker 4 (56:14):
All right, here we go.

Speaker 2 (56:15):
All right, it's time to spin the wheel. Candis rarely
has to spin it. She's only lost like one time before.

Speaker 4 (56:21):
Okay, are you ready to spin it? Candas is taking
her time?

Speaker 8 (56:26):
All right?

Speaker 4 (56:27):
Are you ready?

Speaker 2 (56:27):
Cannis?

Speaker 4 (56:28):
All right? Spin that weere hold on.

Speaker 2 (56:30):
We gotta do a proper three two one wheel.

Speaker 6 (56:33):
Oh, misfortunes.

Speaker 2 (56:35):
Spin that wheel. Oh it's spinning. It's spinning. It's spinning,
and it is landed on. It is landed on. It
has landed on. Instagram takeover?

Speaker 3 (56:51):
Oh god, what does that mean mean?

Speaker 2 (56:54):
For the rest of the day, we get to take
over your Instagram?

Speaker 3 (56:59):
I do can studio sorrow Now. I'm giving away Rangers
sweet tickets.

Speaker 2 (57:03):
Well, no, we're giving away yeah, weird, We're all thank
you Daien gallons. Yeah, we're giving away Rangers sweet tickets
to day, so hand it over for the next twenty

Speaker 4 (57:42):
I want to do.

Speaker 2 (57:43):
Huh.

Speaker 6 (57:45):
You're always begging her to sell feet picks, so.

Speaker 4 (57:50):
We put on there who said it.

Speaker 6 (57:53):
Has to be her feet?

Speaker 2 (57:54):
Yeah, that's a good point.

Speaker 6 (57:57):
She also, Billy has those cute feet.

Speaker 2 (58:00):
She also has a very strong female following. Oh yeah,
so maybe we could leverage that to get Poo a date.

Speaker 3 (58:07):
Yeah she likes Okay, if you guys play the dating
game for Poo on.

Speaker 2 (58:11):
My Instagram, if she likes that, I don't know if
I want to do.

Speaker 6 (58:16):
Yeah, it's got to be something.

Speaker 2 (58:19):
Yeah, well you know what, Poo. Sometimes we go behind
the scenes, like in the bathroom and do stuff.

Speaker 6 (58:24):
Oh yeah, we do.

Speaker 3 (58:25):
Please don't take my phone in the bathroom seriously.

Speaker 2 (58:31):
Well, oh and we get to go to the water park. Yeah,
oh god, there's so many opportunities. What do I want
to do?

Speaker 6 (58:38):
And you you love cheese, cheese, go live and just
eat cheese?

Speaker 2 (58:44):
Should we.

Speaker 6 (58:47):
Or should we just go live and eat cheese?

Speaker 4 (58:49):
I just thought about this show.

Speaker 2 (58:51):
Should we pretend we are canvas and just like get
ready with me? Oh yeah for the water park and
our h two l there's so listen, this is gonna
be fun.

Speaker 6 (59:01):
The possibilities, the.

Speaker 2 (59:02):
Possibilities are endless. Let's do it and it starts now.

Speaker 3 (59:07):
So kind of finished my work thing?

Speaker 2 (59:12):
Would I let would we let Pooh finish his work thing?
If he said that?

Speaker 3 (59:15):
But it is time for me to put up the tickets.
I'll just give me my phone for that and the rest.
I'll be fair totally.

Speaker 2 (59:22):
What is it?

Speaker 4 (59:22):
What are the tickets involved?

Speaker 3 (59:23):
It's four sweet tickets to see the Rangers in September.

Speaker 2 (59:27):
I can't believe I picked Billy on the radio.

Speaker 6 (59:32):
Wow, I can't believe Clarance.

Speaker 2 (59:35):
All right, he Gabe poo, Okay, fine, you know what,
we'll let you do that because that's a contest that yeah,
you know, we want to.

Speaker 4 (59:42):
Do proper right of course, But that's it.

Speaker 3 (59:45):
That's fair.

Speaker 2 (59:46):
The rest of the time, I might even call your
son and Zoe and be like, hey, what do you
want to post buddy?

Speaker 3 (59:49):
Yeah, you would love that.

Speaker 2 (59:51):
Yeah, maybe I'll involve him. Maybe I'll involve Eric. This
is gonna be fun. Make sure you follow her for
the adventure at Cannis On Air at Cannis on Yes.

Speaker 8 (01:00:01):
These tests top stories on the tents with Billy the
Kid in the.

Speaker 3 (01:00:04):
Morning only on the new mixed one or two point nine.

Speaker 2 (01:00:07):
All right, Candi, Slowpez, what's up well you?

Speaker 3 (01:00:09):
Plano City Council just approved a new one point four
million dollar police drone program, so these will be different
than the ones they're using now. They will launch from
the tops of city buildings and be operated by trained
civilian staff, who will then communicate with dispatchers. The goal
here is to help first responders get to emergencies faster
and improve overall situational awareness. There are some concerns from residents, though,

(01:00:33):
of course, about privacy, who are asking how this footage
will be used. They're saying the cameras won't even turn
on until they get to the scene. But it's hard
to think that that's the case when there's just cameras
you know, you know, at.

Speaker 2 (01:00:45):
What point is there're going to be so much drone
traffic in the air where it's going to be an issue, right, Yeah,
you got all these drone deliveries store Dash, you got Walmart,
you got this drone, that drone before you know, and
it's just.

Speaker 4 (01:00:55):
Going to be like ir Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:00:57):
People who live near these quote unquote drone highway saying
I can hear this inside my house. I can hear
them going by.

Speaker 4 (01:01:03):
We have so many weird things. We got to face
a drone highways.

Speaker 3 (01:01:07):
Super weird, super weird. Yeah, they're saying. Also, these would
eventually be used to make deliveries of things like narcan
and EpiPens or you know, things emergency services need. So
we'll see how this plays out. I'll keep you posted though, guys.
The State Fair of Texas was just named number six
and Yelp's top a state fair of festival foods in
the US. I feel like that's not accurate.

Speaker 2 (01:01:29):
How is in number six we have the best state
fair in the world.

Speaker 3 (01:01:33):
Yeah, one hundred percent.

Speaker 2 (01:01:34):
And it's down the best food, the best mascot, I
guess you could say.

Speaker 3 (01:01:37):
Yeah, I mean, do other state fairs have like a
mascot and a guy, and like if people just you know,
live for this person to show up. I know.

Speaker 2 (01:01:46):
The only other fair that I think is legendary is
I know the Minnesota State Fair, Okay is a big one. Yeah,
but nothing's bigger than ours. No, And what's number one
on the list.

Speaker 3 (01:01:55):
I have to pull it up for you. I got
so mad, I just.

Speaker 11 (01:01:57):
Threw it all.

Speaker 4 (01:01:57):
It doesn't even matter.

Speaker 3 (01:01:58):
I know. It is a big day though for the fair.
Two guys, because all of the stuffed animals for the
games on the midway get delivered today.

Speaker 2 (01:02:05):
Cool.

Speaker 3 (01:02:06):
It makes me so happy. The fair opens September twenty
fifth in theaters today. Are you excited about this Billy
spider Man brand new day?

Speaker 2 (01:02:14):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (01:02:14):
It's predicted to earn well over two hundred million dollars
this weekend. It brought in fifty million dollars last night
at previews, which is the best Thursday preview release post
Pandemic and the third biggest in Hollywood history. But it's
getting great reviews.

Speaker 4 (01:02:29):
I've never seen one Spider Man.

Speaker 3 (01:02:30):
I cannot believe that, not even the first one.

Speaker 2 (01:02:32):
I think I saw bits and pieces of it. You know,
I am with movies, but I do want to see.
That's my I'm challenging myself to see iconic movies.

Speaker 3 (01:02:39):
Okay, last night people gave it a ninety eight percent
positive score, so it's gonna be huge for sure. And
then real quick, guys, this has given me the agg
Kesha is asking her fans to send her their teeth again,
so she gave out her po bot. Right again, she
gave out her po box for this. Apparently this hobby
started in twenty eleven after a fan offered their child's

(01:03:02):
a lost tooth, and then she turned it into jewelry.
So she's making necklaces, earrings, a belt and then the
rest I heard she just puts in a jar or
jars and stores them around her house.

Speaker 4 (01:03:12):
Give me a tooth or sending to Kesha?

Speaker 2 (01:03:15):
Right, isn't that weird?

Speaker 9 (01:03:17):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:03:17):
That's really weird, But it's also kind of a brilliant
way to get back into the news. Yeah, and to
talk about what you're doing, because it's so bizarre that
people are going to talk about it. Then they're going
to talk about your music. And I like Kasha. Yeah,
but that's just a strange hobby.

Speaker 3 (01:03:30):
I'm not going to send her my kids see for sure.
I definitely don't want a belt made of no making.

Speaker 2 (01:03:35):
I don't want to ever see anyone else's human teeth.

Speaker 3 (01:03:37):
No, no, definitely no. All right, guys, I'm Kanda Slopez.
Those are your Texas Top Stories. This is Dirty Little Secret.

Speaker 2 (01:03:48):
Mix one oh two point nine plus one thousand dollars
coming up next.

Speaker 4 (01:03:51):
Are you ready Dirty Little Secret?

Speaker 2 (01:03:52):
It's time to confess if you got one, it doesn't
he mat if we're doing Dirty Little Secret and not
just reach out eight three three seven eight seven one
nine or reach out to me Candace at candas on Air,
which we actually are taking over her Instagram for the
days you'll finish.

Speaker 3 (01:04:05):
My work stuff. So I'm gonna pass it back to you.

Speaker 2 (01:04:07):
Can you can do your your borderline break in the bag.

Speaker 3 (01:04:11):
Well, I no, it's just bad timing. I've done. I
don't need my phone anymore today.

Speaker 4 (01:04:14):
What did you do think?

Speaker 3 (01:04:15):
I just had to post the Ranger sweet giveaway? Okay,
all right, yeah, it's a mixed one or two NINEFM.

Speaker 2 (01:04:20):
I'm done at candisan Air, taking it over at candisan Air,
don't forget follow her.

Speaker 4 (01:04:27):
We're taking this over.

Speaker 2 (01:04:27):
I'm about to I'm about to take Pooh for a
little photo shoot down the hall. Yeah, so that's going on.
You're Oh, it's gonna be a whole thing. So if
you have a secret, let us know. You can hit
us up, call us whatever you want to do. You
have one? What's up?

Speaker 10 (01:04:39):
Okay?

Speaker 9 (01:04:39):
I need don't to tell me if I've just lost
my mind or what. So my twenty year high school
reunion is this fall, boo.

Speaker 8 (01:04:47):
And.

Speaker 9 (01:04:49):
I am seriously considering hiring a hot make sure, I'll
want to make it very clear, very hot male escort to.

Speaker 3 (01:05:00):
Be my date.

Speaker 2 (01:05:02):
What no, you are thinking about Okay, oh, I know
you're thinking about hiring a hot male escort to be
your date for your twenty year high school reunion.

Speaker 10 (01:05:12):
Yes, now, I know this sounds ridiculous. Tear me out.

Speaker 9 (01:05:17):
I was not a popular girl in high school. I
was much heavier than I was, very shy, very nerdy,
and like I basically hid for all four years and
I did not go to any other reunion because I
just did not want to have to like relive any
of the garbage that was that experience. Right, But like,

(01:05:39):
my life is very different now that I'm a full
grown adult.

Speaker 10 (01:05:44):
And now I look a lot different.

Speaker 3 (01:05:48):
I lost like eight.

Speaker 10 (01:05:50):
Pounds I had changed my teeth. I feel a lot
more confident in general.

Speaker 9 (01:05:59):
I'm very excited because I have a really great career.
I you know, I provide for myself and my entire
life is something that I'm just very proud of.

Speaker 4 (01:06:10):
That's you had a glow up. You had a glow up.

Speaker 3 (01:06:12):
Yeah, that's awesome.

Speaker 10 (01:06:13):
I had a serious glow up. Yeah. The twenty years
I got pretty and anyway, So like the thing that though,
is that, like you.

Speaker 9 (01:06:24):
Know, like every good round com I don't have like
the guy at the end of the story, and you.

Speaker 4 (01:06:29):
Want the perfect picture.

Speaker 2 (01:06:31):
You want to show up to the reunion going look
at me, I'm hot, I got a great job, I
got a hot dude. Life is perfect.

Speaker 10 (01:06:39):
Yeah, legit, because you nailed it.

Speaker 9 (01:06:41):
Like I know, so many of those girls that I
went to school with, like they they did not do
the you know, college career path, and they married and
they have these beautiful families and beautiful children, and they're
going to be there looking like they stepped directly out
of an Instagram post.

Speaker 3 (01:06:59):
Do you know what I'm saying?

Speaker 4 (01:07:00):
Right? Is this the worst idea ever? I don't think
it's the worst idea ever.

Speaker 3 (01:07:04):
No, but their lives aren't also exactly what they look
like on Instagram. No, No, nobody's ever exactly as they appear.

Speaker 2 (01:07:12):
No, But I don't know if that matters. I mean really,
because if you're going to the reunion and and I
get why you would want to flex on everyone, especially
if you, you know, back in the day you were
considered to be quote unquote a nerd or whatever.

Speaker 4 (01:07:25):
And if it makes you feel better, I say, who cares?

Speaker 3 (01:07:28):
I mean, really, it's kind of a fun like social experiment.

Speaker 2 (01:07:31):
Just like it's not like if you were going to
see these people all the time that it'll be like,
don't get yourself into a lie that you can't really
live with. But if you're gonna see them, one want
and done have some fun, right.

Speaker 9 (01:07:43):
I mean, that's what I'm thinking, Like, and even if
like I also was just thinking like how fun would
it be to come up with like the backstory of
like how we met, you know what I mean, Like
we could have this like funny little story and it
could be so The other thing is it could also
just be like the dumbest thing, and it could be
like so romy and Michelle, where I get so found out.

Speaker 4 (01:08:02):
That's my only concern.

Speaker 2 (01:08:03):
My only concern is for some and this is the
kind of thing that would happen to me for some
odd weird, crazy reason.

Speaker 4 (01:08:09):
They're like, wait, I hired that guy before an work.

Speaker 6 (01:08:12):
Yeah that's great.

Speaker 2 (01:08:15):
Yeah, I mean I say it's fun. But at the
end of the day, would I do it? Probably not.
I say, you go in there on it. Yeah, Like
you go in there and you first of all, I'm
sure you can get an attractive man who you would
be proud of without paying them.

Speaker 4 (01:08:28):
One.

Speaker 2 (01:08:28):
Two, you sound fun, you know, you sound like you're
a good time and why not. And also just be
proud of being you. You had a glower. It almost
might be a bigger flex in twenty twenty six to
say I'm having a good time.

Speaker 4 (01:08:41):
Look at me.

Speaker 2 (01:08:41):
I'm hot, I'm successful, and I don't need a man.

Speaker 3 (01:08:44):
Right, all those posts are going around like all my
friends are having babies and getting married and I'm out
here booking trips or whatever.

Speaker 4 (01:08:50):
Yeah, you're catching flights, not feelings.

Speaker 3 (01:08:52):
You know, not the worst thing in the world.

Speaker 4 (01:08:54):
But do whatever you want. Listen.

Speaker 2 (01:08:55):
The only thing I would say, absolutely, whatever you do,
tell us so we can get an update on it.

Speaker 10 (01:09:00):
Totally. I can't wait to tell you how it goes.

Speaker 2 (01:09:03):
Everybody, all right, well, let us know if you do
or not, and have fun with it and enjoy yourself. Really,
it's like it should be a matter of when you're
living your best life. You don't have to flex that
you're living your best life. People will just feel that energy. Yeah,
you know, so that's what you should do.

Speaker 3 (01:09:18):
That's true too.

Speaker 10 (01:09:19):
I love it, Thank you so much.

Speaker 2 (01:09:21):
Yeah, we're here for the worst advice ever. Oh we
got no, that's good advice, right yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:09:25):
Maybe. Oh, we're about to get out of here.

Speaker 2 (01:09:27):
It's mixed one O two point nine Ability Kid, Candice
low Pass producer Pooh, we'll see you later. We're on
our way to NRH two. Oh, let's go. I'm excited
for that. Yeah, we have like one hundred two people

(01:09:48):
we're taking over Candas's Instagram and Poo's wearing a speedout.

Speaker 4 (01:09:51):
It's gonna be a great goal. Hey what Oh, oh
you're not.

Speaker 3 (01:09:55):
I didn't know about that.

Speaker 2 (01:09:56):
Oh that's right. He doesn't like to talk about on
the here. Yeah, he likes that to be be a
fun surprise for people. So NRH twol will see out there.
