we have a few of them, but one of our
Christmas eves in a way.

Speaker 3 (00:15):
Schmitty, it does, it does.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
Yeah, twenty fifth annual radiothon one more sleep.

Speaker 3 (00:21):
And wouldn't you know a winter storm will kick up
right in time?

Speaker 1 (00:24):
Wow. Uh.

Speaker 3 (00:25):

Speaker 4 (00:56):
Movies, music, and all the gossip in one place.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
It's the celebrities goop on Star one oh five point seven.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
Well famous TV judge, judge Mathis is now being sued
by a city worker, saying the judge threatened to shoot
him because his dump truck was blocking a driveway. Documentsa
a man named Ricardo Acosta claims he was on the
job with the LA Department of Water and Power in
July of last year and was working outside of Judge

(01:25):
Mathis's home when, he says the TV judge started swearing
at him. He was trying to pull out of his garage,
and he started hurling all of these expletives trying to
get Ricardo to move his car. The city worker is
claiming that he said, listen, I can't move this. I'm
in the middle of a job. Run me over if
you need to. He claims hath This told him something

(01:48):
ran into the house and came back out with a gun.
He is suing Judge Matthis for assault and intentional infliction
of emotional distress, going after him for damages.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
I mean, I don't know how I should say this,
because I feel like I should say, Judge Matthews, come on, man,
you should know the law. And then at the same time,
I'm like, hey, now wait a second, Judge Matthis knows
the law.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
Was he allowed to do any of this.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
Did he already have the technical get out of jail
free card in thisbe?

Speaker 3 (02:18):
Wow?

Speaker 2 (02:18):
The guy should know better, Let's put it that way.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
Thank This will be very interesting. Jet's quarterback Aaron Rodgers
is getting the Netflix treatment. A teaser for the upcoming
project dropped yesterday during Aaron's weekly appearance on The Pat
McAfee Show, and there are very interesting pieces of this.
For instance, he talks very in depth about losing friends
and family over his controversial views. He talks a lot

(02:43):
about his journey with ayahuasca, but mostly he says the
three part series is going to chronicle his Achilles rehab
and his work to get back into the NFL. But
this is a very interesting piece. The Internet has pointed
out it does dive in to his friendship with RFK
Junior and his conversation about joining politics.

Speaker 5 (03:04):
People getting to stay behind the curtain.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
Have you thought about going into politics.

Speaker 5 (03:09):
Once I started in my spiritual journey and everything shifted.
The metam morphosis is happening, right.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
Aaron Rodgers, You want to check it out again? Three
part series. It's Aaron Rodgers' Enigma that will drop December
seventeenth on Netflix.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
Nothing that will make me happier as I don't watch
that show, SCHMITTI than knowing that Aaron Rodgers Green Bay
Packer career came to an end with the loss to
the Detroit Lions. That helps me sleep every single night.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
I want to watch it for research for each and
every one of you. Finally, a lot of speculation about
rapper Kendrick Lamar potentially releasing another album before his big
Super Bowl halftime performance. Possibly not the case because he
is gearing up for a huge tour yesterday. He is
hitting the road with his number one album, of course,

(04:04):
and Sizza is going to be joining him. Lots of
fans excited about this. The twenty one city tour will
be coming to Detroit. He'll play ford Field next June tenth.
He is riding a high right now, currently holds seven
out of the top ten spots on the Billboard one hundred.
Like I said, his album is at the top as well.
This could be really cool. A lot of fans thinking

(04:27):
we'll get a little bit of a preview with that
halftime show about what to expect.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
Super smart of him to release all this new music
before the world really really gets a full taste to
Kendrick at the Super.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
Bowl and then sells out that tour. No doubt, all
of your celeb scoop at West Michigan Star dot Com.

Speaker 4 (04:45):
Sometime does that get a good feeling?

Speaker 1 (04:49):
Well, Tims the season forgiving right yesterday we just did
him giving Tuesday. We got Radio Thon coming up tomorrow
and on Friday. Super excited for the generosity of those
out there. And that is for the twelfth year in
a row here in the state of Michigan, because of
a very cool secret, Sannah, this is the twelfth year
in a row that someone has dropped a rare South

(05:10):
African kruegerand into the red kettle in Macomb County. Now
that's a solid gold coin from South Africa, the Krugerrand.
And the note was also dropped, though with a separate
little message saying this will actually be the last year.
A little bittersweet it said, I'm sorry to say this

(05:31):
is my last kruger in hoping there are others who
have Krugeran's that can help keep this tradition in the
future to help so many in need during the holidays.
God bless The reason why that hurts is because there
were twenty six hundred dollars apiece. SCHMIDI the guy had
dropped twelve of them. So doing some quick math, over
thirty thousand dollars has been donated by just that one

(05:53):
person to the Salvation Army and their Red Kettle Drive.
Is they just dropped in that over twenty five one
hundred dollars gold coin. Pretty unbelievable. So just to give
you a little inspiration, doesn't matter if it's a twenty
six hundred dollars coin or a couple of quarters that
you give to those volunteers as they're ringing the bells
as you walk out of a grocery store. Ratt Cattell

(06:14):
campaign for the Salvation Army feeds millions of meals, hundreds
of thousands of nights in shelters, and tons of Christmas
toys for kids. So as you see those volunteers, drop
something into that bucket for sure, all right.

Speaker 3 (06:24):
Candace Dempsey was scheduled to give birth last Sunday at
Beaumont gross Point over on the East Side, but as
a lot of us moms know, babies have other plans.
She tells ABC seven, I knew I wasn't gonna make it.
I called nine to one one that's right. Baby Noah
had his own timeline and Candace ended up giving birth

(06:46):
in the back of an ambulance, but thankfully for Candace,
the paramedics on board were more than ready. Brett is
it works in Clinton Township. He's a firefighter and paramedic.
Along with Bayern Molenar, a Clinton Township are a fighter
and paramedic that agree. They didn't quite expect what was happening,
but mom and baby were healthy and grateful. Fast forward

(07:09):
to yesterday, about forty eight hours after the wild experience,
when Candace and baby Noah showed up to the Clinton
Township Fire Department to give a welcome and such a
big hug of gratitude, thank you for having me.

Speaker 2 (07:29):
How are you good?

Speaker 1 (07:31):
This so buddy I saw you. Can you believe what
we went through?

Speaker 3 (07:40):
Wow, that's awesome, really cool moment. She was saying, you
guys made it so great. You ket me calm, you
listened to me. You were the reason I did this.
And as for the firefighters and paramedics, they said, honestly,
it's really cool. We don't connect a lot with our
patients afterwards. A lot of the times you just hope
everything went well and hope everything worked out. So it

(08:02):
was really nice to see her and Noah doing so great,
which is the most awesome part of this. That's beautiful
that put the reunion video up on our Instagram at
West Michigan Star.

Speaker 1 (08:11):
All right, thanks for joining us for feeling good. We
do it every day at six forty five and nine
twenty and it's all brought to you by our friends.
For that feel good moment at Overhead Door Company of
Grand Rapids.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
I'm Star one o five point seven.

Speaker 4 (08:25):
Movies, music and all the gossip in one place.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
It's the celebritiescoop on Star one oh five point seven.

Speaker 3 (08:33):
Honestly, I was pretty shocked at like the meltdown of
the Internet yesterday when it was discovered. Sabrina Carpenter and
Barry Cogan have reportedly called it quits after dating for
about a year. According to People magazine, the pop star
and Irish actor have called it quits despite being fairly
inseparable for much of the past year. Per People, they

(08:56):
are both quote career focused and have chosen to take
a break. Though it's interesting timing because there have been
some rumors of cheating that have been circulating online. But
it's interesting because just a month ago, Barry was on
the Lewis Thrope podcast and was declaring his love for her,
calling her massively talented. He should have to so many

(09:17):
of her shows. Remember this song, Please Please Please actually
had him in the music video. So as for Sabrina,
she's not saying much, but she is also gearing up
for that big Christmas special that drops on Netflix in
a couple days.

Speaker 1 (09:30):
And you know not to say, I mean he's an
actor in entertainment too, but I mean, obviously her life
has completely changed over the last year, right, I mean
she has blown up.

Speaker 3 (09:39):
I would say both of theirs have. I mean, he's
gotten huge. He's gonna be in the new Peaky Blinders movie.
After Saltburn, he went pretty big. Shane Lean Woodley looking
back on her relationship with ex fiance Aaron Rodgers and
two years later, she is still pretty emotional about the
whole thing. She's talking with outside, saying she hasn't shared

(10:01):
much about the breakup because it always makes her cry.
She summed up their breakup in twenty twenty two, saying
it just wasn't right even though the relationship was beautiful.
She makes it clear there's no bad blood between her
and Aaron, but elsewhere in the interview, she also opens
up about a really awful traumatic thing that happened to
her early in twenty twenty two, which is around the

(10:24):
same time she split from the NFL Star. While she
didn't specifically name Erin, she got very honest about spiraling
into depression and anxiety while stuck in a toxic situation
because she says her empathy kept her in a loop
of looking out for other people. She credits her best
friend and stylist Chris Zero, who helped her through what

(10:45):
she called the lowest low of her entire life.

Speaker 1 (10:49):
Between that and the Aaron Rodgers Netflix thing that's coming out,
I feel like we're getting a lot of different angles
from a guy who was kind of, I mean aloof.

Speaker 3 (10:58):
If nothing else, I'll be interested if they include any
part of this relationship in that three part documentary, that'll
be interesting. Finally, it was a big passing yesterday. Eminem's mom,
Debbie Nelson, has died following a battle with advanced lung cancer.
Sources say Debbie passed away two nights ago in Saint Joseph, Missouri.

(11:20):
Confirmed her death from Eminem's rep Her diagnosis first revealed
in September. Reports at the time even said she didn't
really have longed to live now. Eminem's relationship with his
mom has been quite a rollercoaster of drama and dysfunction.
Early on in his career, he publicly accused her of
being neglectful and abusive. Debbie actually sued him for defamation

(11:43):
back in ninety nine, and then Rodey tell All two
thousand and seven memoir called My Son Marshall, My Son Eminem.
But this track right here headlines kind of marked a
turning point. He talks about attempts to reconcile, and in
recent years the two seemed fairly close. Debbie congratulated m
on his Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction two

(12:03):
years ago. She was only sixty nine.

Speaker 2 (12:06):
Yeah, sixty nine is very young.

Speaker 1 (12:08):
Did she at least get to be a part of
Hayley's wedding and all that stuff?

Speaker 2 (12:11):
Over this past year?

Speaker 3 (12:12):
I could hear anything about her being there? Ye, all
of your celeb scoop at West Michigan Star Dock.

Speaker 1 (12:17):
M good morning to you. It's Mack and Shpitty on
Star one oh five point seven. And you got a
little thief on your hands.

Speaker 2 (12:23):
Huh ooh.

Speaker 3 (12:23):
I would say it's more Ninja level, especially during this
month of holiday between Thanksgiving and Christmas. What kind of
treats do you catch your kids sneaking because they got
home from work the other day? And on Mondays and Tuesdays,
my daughter is home in the morning with someone that's
able to watch her for a little bit. And so

(12:43):
Chris was working in his office. My mother in law
had left, and I see her kind of surprised. I
walk in, and sometimes that's just her face and other
times she's very guilty of doing something. And then I
see that she has moved a chair to our countertop,
she has taken down the leftover tray, and she is
shoveling the last piece of pumpkin pie into her face.

(13:08):
I'm telling you, this girl has two spoons and she
is just and I look at her and I was like, oh,
are we supposed to have that pie? And then I
hear like that everything moving from Chris's office as he
jumps out of his chair and he goes I told
you could. She shoves the final bite in and runs
away like girlfriend waited for everyone to be busy or

(13:29):
not around. Ninjaed her way to my kitchen counter and
shoveled over that final piece of pie into her face.
And honestly, if you had to ask me, between my
two kids, who does that the most, it is her
like Will would be if he's told something, he's a
rule follower, He's like, Okay, yep, that last piece of
pumpkin pie. Not yet, She's like, eleven am, breakfast number two.

(13:53):
It is. And I just know parents have the greatest
stories about things they found their kids sneaking, especially when
it comes to food.

Speaker 1 (14:00):
My kids we have had to learn to start putting
things higher and higher out of their grass. But man,
teamwork makes the dream work. We were pretty astonishment. I
came out to watch my son down on all fours
so that my daughter could stand on his back at
the refrigerator so they could get this.

Speaker 2 (14:17):
There's little old people, so.

Speaker 1 (14:19):
They could shovel whole green olives stuffed with garlic into
their mouths.

Speaker 2 (14:24):
That's different trying to take that's a pretty job shelf.

Speaker 3 (14:27):
That's worth a pyramid build. I'll be honest, what have
your kids been sneaking? Have you caught anything this holiday? Six?
One six, four five eight one oh five seven or
send us that talk back inside our iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 1 (14:39):
I mean, I swear the advent calendars are out. And
I'm really watching my son because I feel like he's
going to go to later Days, open it, take the chocolate,
and then close it and act like it was always closed.

Speaker 3 (14:50):
Well you should see the two spoon thing. I put
the video on our Facebook. She is a wild animal.

Speaker 1 (14:55):
On Wednesdays we own our parenteed mistakes. And it's another.

Speaker 3 (15:02):
It's I guess, kind of perfect since I was just
talking about how Sophia stuck the last piece of pumpkin pie.
But last week, when my mother in law was in town,
she made Christmas cookies with the kids and they were
super excited. We had like three leftover tubs of them.
And I hot into bed. This is probably last Thursday,
and like under the comforter, under the covers, like deep

(15:25):
into the bottom of the thing, Like what the heck
is that? And I like dig down and I realize
my daughter has hidden two of the leftover bins of
cookies in our bed, the entire thing, the entire mire tupperware,
you know those big circular ones, so she wouldn't have
to share with her brother. And so I bring her

(15:46):
in and I go, hey, what is this? And she goes, oh,
my tooties. And I was like, and they're not your cookies.
There everybody's cookies. Do not be You shouldn't be hiding these.
We're here to share. That's what Christmas is all about sharing.
And so she goes, oh hey, and I was like,
now you're not gonna be able to have these for
the rest of the day.

Speaker 1 (16:04):
Oh.

Speaker 3 (16:05):
But then what did I do? I sat in ben
Public six a boln.

Speaker 1 (16:11):
What did you tell her? Was the spirit of Christmas
sharing with others? We had to go there about.

Speaker 3 (16:16):
What we're all tired? Do we need a little sugar boost?

Speaker 4 (16:22):
Movies, music, and all the gossip in one place.

Speaker 1 (16:26):
It's the celebrities goop on Star one oh five point seven.

Speaker 3 (16:30):
Well, it is not surprising, sources say Taylor Swift is
exhausted and is looking forward to a little time off
after that lengthy Eras tour. The Star has been on
the go for almost two years straight, performing over one
hundred and fifty shows since kicking off that tour in
March of last year. But the legendary tour does come

(16:54):
to a close December eighth in Vancouver. A source telling
US Weekly Taylor is exhausted and she's really excited for
some relaxation and downtime. So what does post tour life
look like. She reportedly plans to take at least a
year off and spend most of her time in Kansas
City with boyfriend Travis Kelsey. The two just kind of

(17:15):
want to stay in and hibernate for a while. They
want to do normal things as a couple. They're really
eager to spend actual, long term quality time together because
that's when the little nuances about someone's personality and habits
come into play, and they're ready to just learn so
much more about each other. But there is a rumor

(17:37):
that once again, Taylor is looking at a new album
and already putting plans together for another tour. But this
source says that things can change depending on the way
things go with Travis. A lot of it hinges on
what happens over the next year. She has told her
team to give her one year to see how things

(17:57):
go in her personal life, and while the two would
both love to be engaged, they don't want to rush it.
She thinks that Travis is the one, but jumping into
things has never really been her style. Has for starting
a family that is still years down the road for
the career focused cup fle.

Speaker 1 (18:14):
I mean, do you feel like before the next tour
Taylor Swift is engaged and or Mary?

Speaker 3 (18:22):
I think maybe before the tour, I think we get
another album first. I think she already has a new
album ready to go. It would not surprise me whatsoever.

Speaker 2 (18:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (18:32):
James Van Derbeek Dawson's Creek Theme got very emotional yesterday,
joining Good Morning America to give an update on his
battle with colorectal cancer, and he said, while physically he's
feeling really good, emotionally it has been just an absolute
train wreck dealing with everything, and he had his incredible

(18:52):
wife to think.

Speaker 6 (18:55):
Where I'm gonna lose it madly. She's really Tommy what
unconditional love is. And I'm someone who is always in
the past try to do everything for everybody and never

(19:17):
asked for help myself. And this has put me in
a position of having to ask for help and having
to receive help. And the beautiful blessing of that has
been seeing how many people in my life have shown up.

Speaker 3 (19:32):
He also credits her with being a big reason that
their kids have been handling this so well. They've been
very open answering all their questions, and it was just
a really cool moment.

Speaker 7 (19:42):
I know.

Speaker 1 (19:42):
He's also part of that big full Monty special on
Fox kind of highlighting men's health issues, including colorectal cancer.
So I think it's really cool how much he's given
back in this too.

Speaker 3 (19:52):
And finally, Kiaren Colkin aka Fuller from the Home Alone
series is revealing why he has still not allowed his
kids to watch the classic movie. You'll know exactly what
Fuller is all about.

Speaker 5 (20:05):
I don't want to super Fuller. You know about him.
He watch the bed, He'll peel.

Speaker 4 (20:09):
All over me.

Speaker 1 (20:10):
I know it.

Speaker 2 (20:10):
Kevin, Kevin, you walk out of here.

Speaker 1 (20:13):
You sleep on the third floor.

Speaker 3 (20:14):
Yeah with me? If you didn't know, if you've been
living under a rock. That is actually Macaulay Culkin's little
brother in real life. Big Star with Succession now but
is talking in a new interview with e Neus, saying, ah,
there's still scary parts, Like for my three year old,
there's the tarantula and then the guy at the end
who says I'm gonna bite all your fingers off. He said,

(20:36):
that's just really scary for a three year old. So no,
they have not watched the movie yet. However, this might
be the year.

Speaker 1 (20:44):
I mean at this point he's three years old, so
he's probably still wedding the bed SMITTI that could.

Speaker 3 (20:48):
I feel bad because I was like, oh gosh, I
showed this to my Kevin. He was like, Wan all
of your celeb scoop, including because I didn't get a
chance to get to it. Ariana Grande getting gifted Glinda's
wand on the Drew Berry Moore Show yesterday. I've got
that video up West Michigan Star dot.

Speaker 1 (21:01):
Com showing a fine point seven. It's Mack and Schmidty
and the magic is waiting for you up at LMCU
Ballpark every single night right up through January fourth, talking
about the Christmas light show over there, Schmitty.

Speaker 3 (21:12):
Yeah, you talk about lights, more than two million of
them as you drive through or maybe ride the memory train.
This is really cool. We've got the tickets right now.
With your Christmas quiz, what is something that should be
at every Christmas party?

Speaker 1 (21:26):
I mean, it's not a party without the tune, So
you can go ahead and the tune. Shut up that bluelist.

Speaker 3 (21:31):
I see that you're the cool cat on the turntables
at our iHeart one this.

Speaker 2 (21:36):
Year, I will be a boss.

Speaker 1 (21:37):
D J.

Speaker 3 (21:37):
Schmid Tunes six one, six, four five eight, one oh
five seven Caller seven, first chance at that number one answer?
What is something that should be at every Christmas party?
If you get that number one answer, you're headed to
the Christmas Light Show with Star one oh five point seven.

Speaker 2 (21:54):
Good morning, Star. Who's this?

Speaker 4 (21:56):
Hi?

Speaker 2 (21:56):
My name is Molly, Molly. Where are you calling from today?

Speaker 7 (22:00):
I'm calling from Holland.

Speaker 1 (22:02):
All right, Molly, let's see if we can get you
into the Christmas Light Show there at LMCU Ballpark. One
hundred adults were asked to name something you definitely gotta
have at a Christmas party? At every Christmas party?

Speaker 2 (22:13):
What do you think?

Speaker 1 (22:13):
Their top answer was Molly, food, food. Well, food definitely
gonna make for a much better one, but food is
actually the number five answer on this list.

Speaker 2 (22:22):
I'm sorry, Molly, thank you, Thank you? Hi Star.

Speaker 1 (22:26):
Who's this Marry Harry? We're talking Christmas parties. Molly just
took a guest. When one hundred adults were asked to
name something that should be at every Christmas party, she
said food. She wasn't wrong. That was the number five
most common answer, though, So you got a chance here?
What do you think it is?

Speaker 3 (22:42):
How about present?

Speaker 1 (22:43):
Yeah, it would definitely help to get something cool at there,
and gifts was the number three most common answer. I'm sorry,
good morning star. Who's this Jennifer? I've had good guesses,
but not the top answer yet. When one hundred adults
were asked to names something that should definitely be at
every Christmas party thus far, I have heard gifts, which

(23:06):
was the number three most common answer, and food, which
was the number five most common answer. So what do
you think that top one is Jennifer playing some games? Yeah,
that'd be fun to have with there, but games isn't
even on the list. I'm sorry, thank you, thank you,
Hi star. Who's this?

Speaker 7 (23:24):
And Bendwick?

Speaker 2 (23:26):
Ashley and Fenwick? Awesome? How old is Fenwick?

Speaker 3 (23:32):
Eight?

Speaker 2 (23:32):
Eight years old? So are we off to school today? Guys?
Fenwick a eight year old? So is it third grade? Yep? Awesome.

Speaker 1 (23:41):
Well let's see if we can get you and Fenwick
up to the Christmas light show at LMCU Ballpark. Because
I've gotten a lot of good guesses here, guys, but
I have not gotten the top answer yet. So when
one hundred adults were asked to name something that should
be at every Christmas party. Thus far, I have heard
just about all the top answers up for the top one.
I've heard food, I've heard gifts, I've heard games. None

(24:04):
of those were the top answer, though, What do you guys.

Speaker 2 (24:07):
Think it is? It might be who thinks that was
that you were or Fenwick's guests. That's Fenwick's guests. Have
have you ever tried eggnog? Fenwick, I'm non alcoholic.

Speaker 3 (24:19):
Obviously we've got in our right now.

Speaker 1 (24:23):
Uh well, maybe that's a great thing for it being
top to mine. Although I've personally never liked egnog very much.

Speaker 2 (24:29):
It is the top answer. Way to go, guys.

Speaker 1 (24:33):
Yeah, it was eggnog, followed by a tree, then presence,
then Santa Claus, followed by drinks and food, rounding out
those top answers.

Speaker 4 (24:43):
Way to go, that's very exciting.

Speaker 2 (24:47):
Yes, good job you guys. Way to go, Fenwick.

Speaker 1 (24:49):
Have yourself an awesome Christmas and an awesome time up
at LMCU Ballpark checking out all those beautiful lights with
the Christmas light show, and we will of course be
getting you hooked up with your Christmas quiz. Best eight
fifteen every weekday. You're on starlin Ole five point seven
tomorrow and too it's back in Schmidty. And you know,
having a really cool and random fact in your back

(25:12):
pocket to just bust out every once in a while, Schmidt,
it's never a bad thing to have without a doubt.
And so I actually want to know if you've got
any that you employ from time to time. But for me,
I got one the other night that was fantastic just
for Christmas. And so you can buy all means impressed
people this holiday season if you would like. Because I
did not know this, but we went over to the

(25:34):
Kent District Library over in Cascade the other night and
they had reindeer there for the first time they were
this season. My kids were out there. There was also
some little shop thing going on, but you could go
and you could pet the reindeer. And they're there, and
one of them's got little antlers, one of them's got
just massive tall ones, and we're standing around and we're
feeding them, and then my kids and my wife go
inside and I'm still outside hanging by the reindeer pen,

(25:58):
and I hear the person on the inside just talking
about the different reindeer and somebody says, well, what are
their names? And it was like Muffin and Cindy, and
I go, wait, are these are female reindeer? And she goes, yeah,
they're actually female reindeer. I go, wait a second female
reindeer have antlers and she's like yes, and as a

(26:20):
matter of fact, it's only them and Cariboo where the
female have antlers. And I'm like, I have I'm today,
years later learning that female reindeer.

Speaker 3 (26:29):
Have you you've never seen the meme that said, hey,
guess who was actually powering Santa Sleigh?

Speaker 1 (26:33):
It was all women all okay, so it doesn't surprise
me there. Plus, you know, giving directions, I would assume
those ladies with it. But okay, so flash forward just
about ten minutes later, my kids come back outside. They're
standing there and they're like, oh man, the reindeer's horns
are so cool, and like, go, hey, buddy, do you
know that these reindeer are actually both females and that

(26:54):
only that female reindeers have antlers and so do Cariboo.
And I just see the lady intended just roll her
eyes right behind me. Is I have jack per fact
and gone right for it?

Speaker 3 (27:04):
I take that all day. When I sit with my husband,
all he wants to talk to me about is what
a buck rub is and how to find one for
the best hunting. I'm like, honey, you should have married
somebody else.

Speaker 1 (27:17):
Sometime.

Speaker 3 (27:18):
Does that get a good feeling?

Speaker 1 (27:20):
That's a holidays. We want you feeling good, but can
help out. Right now, it is feeling good here on
Starwinar five point seven.

Speaker 2 (27:25):
What's happened?

Speaker 1 (27:26):
Well?

Speaker 3 (27:26):
A twenty year old marine from Chesterfield Township that's right
outside of Detroit received the surprise of a lifetime from
his beloved Detroit Lions. This is pretty wild. Jacob Reinhardt
has been nearing the end of his recovery journey after
an accident at Marine boot camp paralyzed him. So who

(27:49):
better to come and give him a little bit of
encouragement than Aiden Hutchinson. So the moment that changed Reinhart's
life forever was in October of last year. He was
at Marine boot camp in South Carolina. They were training
as if someone got shot and you had to drag
your fellow service member out of combat. He had someone
on his neck grabbing so tight that unfortunately it caused

(28:11):
swelling in his final cord they call it extreme edema,
he tells ABC seven. At the hospital, Jacob was told
life as he knew it was done, paralyzed from the
neck down, and told he would never walk again. He
was learning how to eat his own food. He couldn't
even sit up. Everything hurt, but that did not stop
his journey and his dream was to one day walk

(28:33):
again onto Ford Field. Months of work, physical therapy, and strength,
he was finally taking those first steps. And that's when
last week, who should surprise him in his kitchen but
none other than Aiden Hutchinson, of course, on a recovery
of his own from a broken tibia and fibula.

Speaker 2 (28:54):
I got a surprise for you guys.

Speaker 7 (28:55):
All right, you guys are going to the Thanksgiving care
We've got a few tickets for you guys. It's an
incredible opportunity for me to be able to surprise this
wonderful family with the tickets to the Thanksgiving game. And
it's all because of their son that that persevered through

(29:16):
an incredible amount of adversity.

Speaker 3 (29:18):
Oh real quick, it wasn't just Aiden, I'm and Ross
Saint Brown joined in on the FaceTime.

Speaker 7 (29:23):
Just like you're asking me questions, you can fire away
with this guy.

Speaker 3 (29:28):
It was incredible. And you know what Ryanhart did just that,
walked down those steps onto Ford Field last Thursday, where
he was then gifted Super Bowl tickets from the Ford family,
and all he had to say.

Speaker 1 (29:44):
Well, I never wanted anything. I really just wake up
and you know, try to do the right thing.

Speaker 3 (29:50):
Oh, it's an incredible story. The video is up at
West Michigan Star dot com.

Speaker 1 (29:54):
That's unbelievable, right there. I love that, all right, Sinny,
this is just wild, all right. So for twenty five years,
for woman named Marcella, she's been looking for her younger
brother Tommy, who went missing in nineteen ninety nine. He
was actually last heard from in July of that year,
calling Marcella from a truck stop in Idaho. His van
later found at Yellowstone and then he was just gone,

(30:14):
never seen or heard from again.

Speaker 2 (30:16):
And over the.

Speaker 1 (30:17):
Years, Marcella tirelessly looked through missing persons reports, she did
unidentified remains in hospital patientless all across several states in
the US, and eventually, twenty five years, you know, she
lost hope and believed that he was never going to
be found until earlier this year when a friend shared
a USA Today article with her about an unidentified patient

(30:40):
at a Los Angeles hospital. Marcella freaked out when she
saw the picture because she immediately recognized her brother from
the photo well, so she called the police. She called
the Lasson County Sheriff's Deputy Derek Kenmore, got.

Speaker 2 (30:55):
A fingerprint test done and it.

Speaker 1 (30:57):
Was confirmed that the nonverbal patient in at law Los
Angeles was in fact her long lost brother Tommy. She
said she's still in complete shock, expressing her gratitude to
both the USA today as well as that officer for
their parts of the reunion, calling ken Moore her hero.
But as they reunite and figure out what has happened
over these lost twenty five years, she just said, when

(31:19):
I look into those eyes, I feel older, sister protectiveness.
I've always been his protector and they're back together now. Oh, insane,
twenty five years, just wild and we always want to
share those amazing stories with you and feeling good and
it's all thanks to our friends overhead door Company of
Grand Rapids, always happy to open your day positively. We'll
do it again for you tomorrow six forty five and

(31:41):
