Wakem It gets my day going andmakes me laugh. I love it.
Mac and Schmidti in the morning onStar one oh five point seven Real,
good morning, SCHMITTI, and moreimportantly happy right, Yeah, best day
of the week, Best day ofthe week. You're just gonna put that
on Fridays, I have Yeah,it's wonderful Saturday. I probably got a
lot to do. Somebody the scariestsneaking. That is fabulous. I can't

(00:27):
argue with your logic right there, right, it's going to be beautiful.
I like the optimism. Let's gowith that, movies, music, and
all the gossip in one place. It's the celebritiescoop on Star one oh five
point seven. Oh. Things gota little awkward yesterday on CBS when Kevin
Costner joined the show in their finalhour to talk about his new paramount series

(00:51):
called Horizon and American Saga. Well, Gail King still wanted to get some
answers about his big exit from thesuccessful show Yellowstone, talking about both him
and Taylor Sheridan, the show's creator, saying, you know, people think
you both have big egos, You'revery powerful. Is this really more of
a game of whose is bigger? The characterization of you isn't necessarily flattering.

(01:14):
As you've made demands. You wantto have a certain schedule, you want
to shoot at a certain time, you want certain money. If it's if
it's not that hard, why can'tthe two of you be able to work
it out? People would love tosee therapy, Gale. I mean,
we're not going to discuss this somethingin the show, really. I mean,
honestly, it's it's a I'm agood I've conducted my life in a
pretty straightforward way. I've never missedany obligations in my entire career. So

(01:38):
the idea, you know, iswhite is white open for me? It
just happens to be like, canI fall in love with the writing?
Can I fall in love with thepart that wants to go forward? Okay,
shut it right down and didn't listento the rest of her question.
It was it was very uncomfortable towatch. Yeah, you don't want to

(01:59):
talk about Yellowstone anymore. She sortof tried to tee it up to sort
of get the tea if you will, saying like, are you guys just
having enough? Oh? Yeah, she laid the bin. He was just
like, we're not doing this.It ain't therapy. Move on, I'm
here to talk about an entirely differentshow. Hannah Goodiers read The Armorer for
Rust, continues the drama with thatmovie, now claiming prosecutors in New Mexico

(02:23):
buried information that would have helped provethe gun and the fatal shooting fired without
Alec Baldwin pulling the trigger, andthat Hannah herself was also not responsible.
Hannah's attorneys are claiming prosecutors buried areport showing the gun had quote unquote unexplained
alterations to the trigger that were unlikelythe result of the FBI's trigger trust testing

(02:47):
and did not appear to be originalmanufacturing marks. She says this is exculpatory
evidence that they had a constitutional obligationto disclos would have resulted in a fundamentally
different trial and likely a different outcome. Remember, she was found guilty,
sentenced to eighteen months in prison, and she's been working to overturn that conviction

(03:10):
ever since. I am certain thatthey will try any legal avenue that's available
to them. At the same time, Schmidy, the people I think would
be interested in this are Alec Baldwin'speople who demanded that he was not actually
responsible for pulling the trigger, andthat's why the whole FBI test was needed
in the first place. I'm nota lawyer. I have no idea what
any of that means. So it'son the scoop page if you need it.

(03:32):
Finally, a big surprise in theKardashian family seeing Rob for the first
time in a very long time.Chloe turned forty yesterday and shared just a
small snippet of the birthday celebration onher Instagram last night. It included her
best friend, her grandma Mary Joe, but also Rob, who looked really

(03:53):
happy, really healthy, hype andChloe up. Didn't see any of the
kids or baby Mama, but fanswere really excited to see him looking this
healthy and wonderful because it has beenman months, maybe almost a year,
since we've seen him in any kindof social or public setting. Interesting how
he just dropped off. Is hestill doing the whole sock line thing?

(04:13):
Did then end for him or well? I just know that him employee are
really really close and this is areally cool video to see. Got it
up for you with your scoop atWest Michigan Star dot Com. Sometimes does
that get a good, feeling well, and we're hoping you're already smiling as
you're getting ready going into the weekend. But we're here to lift you up
all the same. Feeling good rightnow in Startwin on five point seven.

(04:34):
It's back and Schmidt and I justgot to give a quick shout out Schmidty
to an incredible athlete here in WestMichigan who just got a major honor after
a record breaking high school career.Grand Haven runner Seth Norder. Schmidty was
just named the twenty twenty four GatoradePlayer of the Year for the state of
Michigan. Pretty awesome to see.During this time with the Bucks. He

(04:57):
won the twenty twenty four to sixteenhundred med O type at the Division one
state level this spring. As amatter of fact, that's the mile long
run for the record. And afterwardshe was being interviewed, caught up and
he just was so happy to finallyget this one done and cross that finish
line. Oh great. I don'treally know how the rest is gonna be
go all out, so it wasgonna be faster now if it was a
pr day, But I know Iwas going to give everything I had and

(05:19):
I'm going to be a great timeout of it. So what was the
feeling president finish line there? Sonice, relaxed, believe thinking about him
for a while. Yeah, hedid great, he said he didn't know
if it was going to be aPR day. He means his own personal
record that came just afterwards though, because he got first at the Nike Outdoor
Nationals and hit that personal record offour minutes one seconds at the Brooks pr

(05:43):
Invitational. Schmiddy, it was onlylike the nineteen fifties when humanity first ran
its first sub four minute mile. Now I got high schoolers out there doing
this. It is wild. Sothe Gatoraye Player of the Year, he's
actually going to become a Spartan. He's running at Michigan State this fall.
So congratulations to Seth Nord. Thisis incredible. A community in Detroit rallying
around a nine year old little girlwith a rare disease, hoping to purchase

(06:08):
her a wheelchair accessible van that willallow her to see the world. Nine
year old Alexia has an ultra rare, undiagnosed progressive neuromuscular disease, which prevents
her from being able to use herarm's legs. So she's being followed by
a team of specialists both at theUniversity of Michigan and also Duke So they've
tailored a wheelchair for her that allowsher to get around using her mouth,

(06:30):
but traveling in the four hundred poundwheelchair has been tough. The family just
can't afford an eighty thousand dollars pricetag for a wheelchair accessible van. No
worries, Alexia's school, Barnard Elementaryin Troy, decided to come up with
a way to fundraise both in andout of the school, putting together a

(06:51):
go Fundme and inviting students to giveraising a little over one thousand dollars early
on alone, Uncle realit Or steppedin to give over another more than eight
thousand. Here's the moment Alexia's momheard that, Oh that's so kind.
We're so lucky. Owling gets youwhat you need, poplaw Paler, you

(07:15):
know. Welcome. So checking thegofund me this morning, they have raised
almost thirteen thousand dollars. Remember thishas only been a couple of days going
on. Alexis said, her dreamif she gets the van is a big
old road trip to Disney World. So if you want to learn out more
learn more, you can check outsupport Alexia's mobility on GoFundMe. I'm feeling
good. Kevin at you a coupletimes a day to tell you about great

(07:38):
things happen all around you. Isthey're there when you're looking for them.
We do every morning with feeling good. Another round comes your way this morning
at nine's twenty, you're on Stock, movies, music, and all the
gossip in one place. It's thecelebrities Goop on Star one oh five point
seven. Well, it is thetalk of the sports world this morning.
Bronnie James, son of the NBAsuperstar lebron James, will officially be a

(08:03):
Los Angeles Laker, selected with thefifty fifth pick, and in videos that
have surfaced, he gets wildly emotionalover this. With a fifty fifth pick
in the twenty twenty four Dadrap, the Los Angeles Lakers select Ronnie James.

(08:31):
It's really cool to watch. Yousee him literally kind of bend over a
bit. He's starting to cry.You can see people handing him clean nexces.
He's just very overcome with emotion realizinghe's most likely going to get to
play with his dad, and it'sa great story. Remember, Bronnie suffered
that cardiac arrest back in July oftwenty twenty three. After taking some time

(08:54):
to recover, he was back withhis teammates. Twenty five appearances in the
twenty three twenty four season, averagejing on just under five points and three
rebounds, about more than two assistsa game. He's been very, very
promising, but experts were still unsureif he was actually going to go in
the draft this year. It hashappened, which means him and Pops make

(09:15):
history. They will be the firstfather son duo to play in the NBA
simultaneously. Because there's been a lotof talk about, you know, when
Lebron will be hanging up the tennisshoes. I don't think he leaves when
he has the opportunity to play withhis kid. He said it in multiple
interviews. This is an absolute dreamfor him, and you know, and
kind of by design too. Wordwas that Rich Paul, who of course

(09:35):
is with Adele but is also agentto both Lebron and his son, was
telling teams that if they pick him, that Bronni was going to go play
in Australia and wouldn't join the team. So I've they had some mornings out
there. Jim, Oh, thisis very interesting Paul walter Hauser calling out
Vin Diesel and his alleged attitude whenhe's on set. So it's interesting because

(10:00):
the two actors have never actually workedtogether. Paul is a big Emmy winner,
but he's also the voice actor forthe new Inside Out To movie,
so he's been doing a ton ofpress. He sat down with Cinema Blend
yesterday and when he was compared toVin, he did not have nice things
to say. It's clearly to bea part of a character that kind of

(10:22):
has an arc, and he helpsin the inn view. Hey, you're
like Vin Diesel, Now, pleasedon't say that. I like to think
I'm on time, approachable. Idon't know what I'm allowed to talk.
I love people, but when Ihear stories about Hollywood actors who get paid
really well in the treat people,I out them constantly. Yeah sorry,

(10:45):
But when I hear stories about Hollywoodactors who get paid really well in mistreat
people, I out them constantly.I don't know. Likely referring to maybe
the feud between Vin Diesel and DwayneJohnson and maybe he's taken Dwayne's side on
this. It's interesting Vin is notrespect into this yet. It is interesting
because he has also never met Vin. Diesel, You're not outing somebody,
You're just doing the same speculation asanybody else. And finally, it's interesting

(11:09):
to see the Kelsey brothers meeting Royalty. I didn't have a chance to get
to this yesterday, and I reallywant to do it because it's so sweet
and it shows you how excited JasonKelsey is to be a girl dad.
The new episode of their New Heightspodcast dropped where they talked about meeting the
Royal family at Taylor's show in Londonlast weekend. I've never felt the masculated

(11:30):
and I did, so that wasthe closest I've never beid. I've never
seen you give that someone that muchrespect. You put your beer like ten
feet away from you. I didn'thave it in my teeth when I met
him. I gotta say Prince Williamwas fantastic meeting him, but the highlight
was Princess Charlotte. She was soadorable. I don't know, maybe because
I have three girls now, shehad fire tours. She was asking questions.

(11:50):
Thank you, your highness. Hewas awesome meeting you and Charlotte and
Georgie. Isn't that's so sweet? And I love this too. There was
an interview that came out yesterday betweenthe two of them where Travis and that
the two are more connected than theyever have been because of the podcast.
He said, it's forced us toreconnect with each other's lives more so than
we have been since probably college. So they're just loving doing this project together.

(12:11):
I mean, you can you canhear this pat connection between the two
of them. But I just adJason Kelsey saying that he felt emasculated by
the King is awesome. The GreatPrince not yet King. Our London listeners,
I apologize to our UK audience, all of your celeb scoop at West
Michigan Star dot com. Good morningtoo. It's Mack and Schmitty and someone

(12:31):
threw some stones your way. Schmittya couple of times now. I have
been called old twice this week, and I'm gonna apologize first. Some of
you might even turn us off becauseyou probably hate the term boomer. I
know it's a very controversial kind ofthing. But when I was up north
last week, my sister in lawcalled me out. We were hanging out

(12:52):
and all of a sudden, shesaw me go back to the home screen
on my phone. Yeah, andshe took the phone out of my hand
and she's like, what is this? Was like one and she goes,
you still have all of your factorysettings on your phone. Your home screen
is just the regular Apple factory set, your lock screen is the and I'm

(13:13):
like, yeah, she goes, you just get it. I said,
well, I've had it for likesix months. She goes, gonna put
personal pictures on here. You didn'tlike realign any of your apps. You
don't have anything organized. You arecleaning out all of your text messages as
they come in. And I waslike, okay, okay, I get
it. Like I guess that doesme. She's like, all right,

(13:37):
Boomer, do you want me toshow you too? Oh? Right here
nine, okay, you're still inher twenties. Paid Oh yeah, she's
still her twenties. Yeah, absolutely, And she's just there and she's as
she's saying this to me, I'mkind of like, oh my gosh,
I feel it. I feel that. And then I went to grab a

(13:58):
sandwich the up day and I pulledout my wallet and the guy kind of
laughed and I was like, somethingwrong goes No, it's funny. I
just like I can always tell whensomeone's older because they still use a wallet
because gen Z everything is Apple pay, Google Pay. They don't use credit
cards, debit cards, cash, forget about it. So twice in the

(14:20):
matter of seven days, I wascalled old, and I'm like, you
know what, I'm still plenty waysaway from forty. I guess I enjoy
going to bed early, and anice earl gray tea in the morning gets
me going. But man, whatcolor? What color is your pillcage?

(14:41):
I have not done the pillcase yet. A couple of my friends have done
the pillcase. I have not gottenthere yet. Does your bed and does
your bed? Does it have separatesides that raised and lower for both you
and Chris? Only because I can'tafford those beds otherwise, yes, i'd
had the heating and cooling feature fromwhen my back really hurts after a long

(15:01):
day. It's hard, man.And then when someone points something out to
you and you kind of stop andgo oh shoo, like ten years ago,
I would say that about me too. I will call myself old.
I think the text thing is reallyfunny, just because my father, who
is seventy six years old, cleansout his text every single day, and
he goes to his email accounts. He thinks it's like one of his choors,

(15:24):
one of his tests, like balancingyour check book in here everything.
He goes to his emails and clearsout the spam folders every day. Oh
sometimes that feels really good though. You just feel like you've cleaned house a
bit for someone who has eighty four, six hundred and twenty two emails currently
sitting in an inbox. Mintee,I disagree completely. I just think I'm
so. I mean, you knowhow much I didn't want to get an

(15:46):
iPhone, and the only reason Igot it is because I just need Google
needs some more time to fix afew of their hardware issues. Yeah,
so, I just I don't thinkI want to fully remind myself. I'm
in the iPhone, so I'm notdoing anything personal on my iPhone. You
know, once you just get ridof you just get rid of the phone
all together. They have those LifeLocknecklaces. You could just wear one of
those. Just me. If Ididn't have this job, I'd have no

(16:08):
phone off the grid and I'd onlyhave my LifeLock on in case I fell
over, So you know what,Actually this turned into a complimentary conversation.
I can't wait to be a boomer. Y'all are living the correct life.
It's any time a spill and seatea time. Spill the teo, sweetheart,
let's do it. It is yourtea that we spill every Friday in

(16:30):
tea time. I could smid ithere un starting a five point seven and
yeah, this is It's awkward,it's uncomfortable, and it can be really
really bad. Awkward is the rightreally bad. And you know, lots
of times at tea time is whenyou are calling out someone else's drama because
you're not sure how to deal withit. This is exactly that. We
got a message that said, youknow, next week is the fourth of

(16:53):
July, and our group of friendsalways get together and head north to our
buddy's cabin. One of the couplesin our group had a pretty rough divorce
two years ago. We respected thatlast summer, but I just learned the
hosts are planning to invite the exhusband. They're not on great terms.
I know for a fact the exwife does not like faking it to be

(17:15):
around him, and our host friendsknow this too. Do I try to
get them to take the invite back, warn both friends their exes coming,
or say nothing because we're all stillclose. Maybe it's on them to figure
out post divorce friendship help. NoI had mentioned this. We've unfortunately had
a little bit. I think alot of people have had experience with this.

(17:37):
If you have a very very close, close group of friends and then
a divorce happens, it is messyfor everyone and it's very very hard to
navigate sometimes. When I saw thismessage, my first immediate thought was,
they've got to figure this out themselves. I think it is really unfair to
put it on a group of friends. My friends specifically said right at the

(17:57):
beginning, we're not telling you tochoose sides. There's not gonna be sides
here. We're gonna be able todo the Amazon moment. All still like
doing this, but like, forreal, not to make light of it.
This isn't really it's it's hard.It's especially if you're really close,
like these people seem to be.I I'm glad it doesn't seem like there's
kids involved, because I know acouple of the comments we got, like

(18:18):
Jane said, you would think theywould have asked if the other was coming,
or talk to each other. There'snot kids involved. A lot of
times now these couples try to makethat separation completely done for and if they
don't see each other a lot throughoutthe year, I can understand how they
would think, Oh, if I'minvited, certainly they wouldn't invite my ex.
Yeah, that's where I think. That's where my opinion comes in on

(18:40):
this. Just with the information theygave here, all I keep thinking is
like, of course you just haveto tell them, Like, this is
not even a big deal as longas you tell them, because then they
can make whatever decision they want. And it's on them if they have the
information before everybody gets together. It'stheir responsibility, right, and then you're
prepared to sit through the seven hourphone conversation about it. You invited them,
all right? What do you guysthink about this? We put it

(19:02):
up on Facebook an awkward Fourth ofJuly all around. What would you tell
this listener to do at West MichiganStar Mudie's music and all the gossip in
one place. It's the celebrities gupon Star one oh five point seven.
Well, from the looks of thisvideo. Katie Perry is at least somewhat

(19:22):
uncomfortable about the backlash over her announcementthat one of her new singles off of
her Woman's World album will be producedby none other than Doctor Luke. Katie
words dodging a whole bunch of questionsfrom fans. Yesterday, she was out
in Paris making a clear getaway toher car, being asked multiple times about
why she is working with the notoriousproducer. Katie, Is there a reason

(19:47):
why you work with Doctor Luke?Do you do your album about women empowerments?
Why are you working with Doctor Luke? You can tell she hears the
questions that she even moves her attentionto it a couple times before closing her
mouth back up and getting right outof there. Remember this goes back to
all of the issues that Kesha hasalleged with Doctor Luke. Kesha has made

(20:11):
a few petty little posts herself abouthow she feels with Katie teaming up with
Doctor Luke, and Katie has beensuper silent on the topic. That new
album drops entel My eleventh. Imean, she's worked with him for a
very long time before all the allegationsurfaced, and all that kind of stuff.
But man, you can't put thegenie back in the bottle now for
her. But I forgot Kesha broughther into the lawsuit. I forgot about

(20:33):
that. She actually she had saidin her lawsuit against doctor Luke that Katy
Perry was also a victim, butthen Katie denied it. Jonathan van Ness
is finally breaking his silence over thatbombshell report in Rolling Stone exposing him as
being emotionally abusive, having serious rageissues, and being a complete nightmare on

(20:56):
set at Queer Eye, and Jonathanwas on the table Manners with Jesse and
Lenny ware podcast, first admitting theyknew that the article was coming out.
At some point someone had made referencesaying, listen, there is this bombshell
report, lots of claims that aren'tnecessarily founded on truth. But it'll be

(21:18):
dropping sometime between January and the summer. So Jonathan admits that for months he
was walking on eggshells waiting for thisthing to come out. When it finally
did, he saw a bit ofit and it was bad. I think
a lot of people were like lookingfor a reason to hate me, or
like looking for a reason to belike see, I always knew that they
were a fake and this is likethe proof. So just and I like
my family was like so supportive andmy husband and my team, but like

(21:41):
I didn't even get on social media, like look at my phone for like
three weeks nice, and anytime Itried, like to dip my toe,
and like I would immediately see somethingthat was like so intensely hurtful. Said
the article came in an incredibly vulnerabletime for him, and it was pretty
rough. Jonathan went on to completelycall the article on true baseless, said

(22:03):
it was done in bad faith, but they did admit there may have been
some times when they'd snapped at peopleor could have done better. Do you
have to be nice all the time? I mean, especially when it's your
show and your you know, yourface that millions of people, I mean
when the world of cell phones, and yeah, I think you've got to
be careful about it. Finally,Celine Dion has done something so cool,

(22:29):
donating two million dollars to a Coloradohospital staff that is researching stiff person syndrome.
Of course, her big documentary justdropped on hulusim really shocking footage,
including watching her have a pretty seriousseizure. Because of this diagnosis, the
Canadian Icon made that two million dollardonation to the University of Colorado and Shit's

(22:52):
medical campus. That's where doctor Piquetteis treating her for the rare condition.
The doctor telling CBS News, Iam incredible honor to receive this recognition.
Recognition mostly because I can move thefield forward with this research. It is
so necessary. Remember, still nocure for this really awful disease. All
of your celeb scoop but West MichiganStar dot com selling a fun points Seavin.

(23:15):
It's Mack and Schmiddy looking to getthe kids and you own for some
family fun over at the Henry FordMuseum on the East side. Schmitty.
Yeah, it is Dinosaurs in Motion. If you got some dino loving kids
like I do. It's an interactiveexhibit. Super cool. We've got your
passes for the family with Battle ofthe Sexes and today's number one answer one

(23:36):
hundred men surveyed. Name the partof your car. You can adjust lots
of them for sure. I likethe lumbar support. Gotta add in that
lumbar. Oh my got Bouche Boschcar. My car is fourteen years old
and I don't even have like abluetooth. Did the windows roll down with
like an arm cranker? Do youactually you have a pope? I'm a
little better than thank you that someof us are on your saving money.

(23:56):
Six one, six four eight oneoh five evan. One hundred men surveyed
name the part of your car youcan adjust that'll be perfect for the road
trip you might be taken to theeast Side Dinosaurs in motion at the henry
Ford. You can grab your ticketsat THHF Dot one. Good morning,
Star. Who's this? Good morningMelinda? Where are you calling today?

(24:19):
I'm on my way to work inSheridan right on. Well, let's hopefully
make this a great friday for youto roll into the weekend with with these
tickets to go have some fun withthe family at the henry Ford. You
gotta tell me. When one hundredguys were asked to name a part of
your car that can be adjusted, what was their top answer. Melinda's You're

(24:41):
going with the seats. See,in my head, I was thinking people
were going to go with the rearview mirrors because since the time you were
in driver's ed all the way backwhen you're a teenager, your driver's at
instructor I guarantee was like, don'tforget check those mirrors when you get in
the car, right, that's ageolder, yes, but you can't really
just the mirrors until you adjust thatseat first. And that's why it's the

(25:02):
top answer. Congratulations, thank you. Yeah, you're gonna go check out
Dinosaurs in Motion and all the funover at the Henry Ford Museum this summer.
We got four tickets for you.Awesome. Congratulations, But Linda,
we're back to battle again next weekhere on Monday eight fifteen here on Star
Wars Bob Point. So good morningtoo, Happy Friday. It's Smack and

(25:26):
Schmidty and I kind of got avent and ask a little bit here Schmitty,
because I feel like this is extremelynormal. What is the simple task
in your home that your significant otherrefuses to do and you know they're not
gonna do it? This is partof them, right, Like this is
that's why you get married. Youknow the stuff you're not gonna do,
and then you find the person that'sgoing to do them, right. That's

(25:47):
why I put on there, likeyou know, somebody in every relationship's got
to be the spider killer and youknow, maybe you both enjoy killing Spider's
fine, but in a lot ofhouses, like there's one person like,
hey, spider over there, youknow what to do in my house.
My wife and I fight about thisconstantly and have for years because I haven't
gotten over it. I get sofrustrated with her just lack of It's not

(26:10):
a lack of ability, because sheobviously could do it if she wanted to.
She refuses to make any phone callsregarding services to our home. Oh
I hate doing that. So whetherit be to call somebody to get like
the furnace done, or if we'vegot to have something with the lawn done,
exterminators past people, any of thosethings, she basically refuses. She
will put off. I'll ask todo it, She'll say, yeah,

(26:33):
okay, I'll do that, andthen she'll put it off. And then
two weeks we'll go behind him andshe's like, yeah, can you just
take care. I don't see why. I think that that is very sexist.
For example, just the other day, I said they were talking about
how there's more West Nile in Michiganthis year, and we've got a creek
behind the house, and I'm like, you know what, let's just get
somebody over to spray. And Isaid, hey, would you call an
exterminator and just get them to sprayin the house and do a mosquito treatment

(26:56):
one time? And she goes, yeah, you know that seems like a
phone call one of us could makewould the exact same way. If you're
calling me right now, that meansyou could simply hang up and then call
a wonderful service to come out havethat done. I feel like she's standing
right here, Spinny. So isthere something in your relationship that you guys

(27:18):
have that like, you know,Chris is definitely not going to do this.
There's not a chance that Chris isn'tgoing to do Chris is not going
to make the appointment, phone calls, doctors, Yeah, any kind of
physical, any kind of checking upon like the kids' schedule, sports stuff
that needs to be done. Mybigger bitterness is that he won't even like
do the emails. He won't.I'm just like, we got the flag

(27:41):
football schedules, Like, oh didwe? I was like, you're right
on there, bro is it anyemail back about snack? Is it?
Because we then can just completely denounceanything that goes wrong from that point forward,
like, Hey, you're you're theones this. We don't show up
for something, it we're late forsomething. It's now wow. Oh that's
just that. I can't I askedthis on Facebook, and there's some interesting

(28:03):
one. Sandra said, start thedishwasher because he can't figure out our new
one. That's a case of likethe starone is that? Like? Does
that include it? I do notload the dishwasher. You don't load it.
I empty it. Chris loads it. He does not like the way
I load the dishwasher. I takeup too much space. Oh my gosh,
how many seconds would it take youto learn his way of loading the

(28:26):
dishwasher properly? Oh yeah, no, we've been doing that for my gosh,
sixteen years. We've had that pattern. I love it. Oh that's
weird how that continues. How aboutclean up animal vomit or slime on their
mouths grosses him out? According toBonnie on there, what about with your
kids? Oh yeah, one ofus is the number two person. One
of us is the vomit person.Oh my parents were the exact same way.

(28:49):
If you were sick, depending onwhich end it was coming out of,
you knew which side of the bedto go to. I guess for
the first time in my life,I'll make this claim. Sign me up
to be the vomit person smitty somedown. Does that get a good feeling?
We all feel a little bit lighteron a Friday, know when you
get the weekend to look forward to. But we're here to pick you up

(29:11):
with feeling good right now and startingon five, four and seven. What's
going on? SINNI? I mean, I've got to point out this incredible
video. I saw it yesterday andit's warmed my heart mine as well as
millions of others. Telena is hername. She lives in Australia and one
day was having a conversation with herninety seven year old great grandmother, who
admitted she wasn't feeling her best.So Telena had the idea to take her

(29:34):
shopping and the video has gone viral. Her great grandmother just looking amazing,
loving life again, millions of viewson this. Telena and our great grandmother
actually joined Good Morning America yesterday. We always loved a good up shop,
a rift show. We've always lovedshopping together and grandma and I were sitting

(29:59):
together and she just mentioned to me, I don't feel pretty, and so
straight away I was just like lightbulb moment. I was like, I've
we've got to go shopping. AndI was actually just taking the videos so
that I could show Grandma how itlooked. I showed Grandma the video,
I said, cand just posted, and she said yes. And then I

(30:22):
had to turn around the next dayand say I'm sorry, I've accidentally made
you go a bit viral and viral. It has become so many people with
comments like this reminds me of mymom. I miss her so much.
I love that you're spending so muchtime with your great grandmother. These are
going to be priceless memories. Asfor Teleina's great grandmother. When I go

(30:44):
shopping with Tilena and her mother,it's an experience you missed. It's incredible.
I'll put the video up you cansee how beautiful this is at West
Michigan Star. That's super sweet.Yeah all right, Schmittie. You know
how much I've love a good adventureand a good discovery, and that's what
you've got both of here. Asfossil hunter Alex Lundberg made an incredible discovery

(31:07):
while he was actually down in VeniceBeach Florida. In about ten minutes into
a dime down there, he sawwhat he thought looked like a piece of
wood embedded in the sand. Hewas actually down there looking for megalid on
teeth, which I didn't even thinkwas a real thing until I got hooked
on Shark Week. But he's abouttwenty five feet underwater, he sees this
what he thinks is a piece ofwood, decides to just check it out.

(31:30):
Turns out it's an over four footlong, seventy pound masted on tusk,
a rare fine big time in thesewaters due to natural degradation, degradation
due to storm damage. And hesaid it just left him feeling absolutely surreal.
As he explained to click on Orlando, it was absolutely surreal. I

(31:51):
mean, I know, I've beenfalse hunting for twenty years and I never
thought I would find something like this. I mean, we find broken pieces
of tusk all the time down They'relike just small pieces, but yeah,
usually they just they don't stay intactlike this. They fall apart or storms
break them up. So I meanthe fact that this one stayed in one
piece as big as it is isjust so surreal and just so exciting.

(32:13):
Yeah, finding a piece of historythat goes back millions of years. Pretty
incredible. There is a Florida law, by the way, I didn't know
this, but it mandates that findslike this are actually owned by Florida.
They owned all vertebrate vertebrate fossils onland or in water. A lot of
places that have those rules. Yeah, yeah, So he has got to
find out whether the museum actually wantsto keep his tusk, but if they

(32:35):
pass on it because they already havesome, his goal is just to pass
it down to his grandkids, whichI think is awesome. Feeling good coming
at you twice day, I alwayswant to tell you about something cool going
on out there. We'll do itagain for you on Monday. Come and
join it at six forty five andnine to twenty every weekday here on Star
Mack and Schmidty in the morning weekdaystarting at six am on Star one oh
five point seven
