Wakem It gets my day going andmakes me laugh. I love it.
Mac and Schmitty in the Morning onStar one on five point seven. Well,
good morning, Smitty, Good morning, Welcome into your Tuesday. It's
a warm one out there to startthe day. Time's sturtay in the mid
sixties. But we're gonna look atbelieve, what's hurrendy. Gonna be one

(00:23):
of the top three Time five honestdays of the year so far. Mid
eighties and cloudy and sticky and allthat fun stuff. Today's man, but
then by tomorrow you're good. Soif you're counting down those school days,
maybe you're in one of those schoolswithout ac Listen, you gotta get through
today. Then we'll have some potentialweather that'll cool things down. But I
know we've been continuing that countdown. You are still in school. You got

(00:46):
what maybe two days for some schools. My kids have three left to go,
and then we see that big, beautiful summer break sun. Last night
my son had a baseball game andit was a late one. It started
at seven, didn't get over tillafter nine o'clock. And at the end
of the game. Of course, this was our week to provide snacks and

(01:06):
they have like a concession thing,so they do this for teams where you
just go pay once. But itwas nine o'clock and the kids were all
getting hot dogs, candy and popAnd I'm like, this was my wife's
idea every moment about this. Yeah. One of the other parents was like,
it's okay, we don't have realschool tomorrow anymore. Wow. All
right, movies, music and allthe gossip in one place. It's the

(01:27):
celebrity scoop on Star one oh fivepoint seven. Man, you all need
to stop throwing stuff at people onstage. Once again, Babe Rexa getting
pelted with stuff at her latest gig, and this time she was done with
it, immediately asking security to bootthe guy out. She was in the

(01:48):
middle of one of her songs inGreen Bay, Wisconsin, when she suddenly
stopped the music. You can evenhear the frustration as she apologizes to fans
for having to do this, butshe just was done. Let's get this
guy out. He's running a showfor everybody. We gotta help this again.

(02:09):
But the police had to cook likeit didn't have to get it didn't
have to go that far, youknow, I'm talking about like I love
you. I'm sorry. I'm sorry, guys. I think we need to
do we gotta go from you knowwhat, let's go for this. I
think we should eventually got back tothe show. But witnesses that were at
the show say she had more thanten people kicked out of the show for

(02:30):
doing this. I mean, athat's an awkward show to give your fans.
For sure, is she got alittle PTSD after getting whacked in the
head. She did it. Idon't think it's awkward. Somebody's throwing a
cell phone at your face? Yes? Do you think people are starting to
do this because of the history ofher having a fan throw stuff at her
like this? Is this gonna bea thing going forward? I don't like.

(02:52):
But why, Like, nobody knowswho you are. You just got
kicked out of a show you paidmoney for. I just think it's really
rude, all right, Jenny Carterinsists she has zero regrets about that quote
unquote body check on Caitlyn Clark. Now, remember this went down over the
weekend. It's been all the talkin the WNBA. You could see that

(03:14):
during this game where the Chicago Skytook on the Indiana Fever, the player
kind of came up to Caitlin specificallypushed her. She fell to the ground.
There were a few fines even givenfor this. Kennedy said it had
nothing to do with who Clark isand it's just playing the game. I
don't have any regrets with anything.I'm going to compete and play one hundred

(03:35):
percent hard no matter who it is, like I said, or who we're
playing. No, no, Idon't have any regrets. See. She
refused to talk after the game onSaturday. This was yesterday afternoon after practice,
and she said, it was theheat of the moment. I got
hit in the head the play before, which you didn't see. It was
just one of those things that wasin the heat of the moment. I
don't know Caitlyn. I don't knowher from anyone. At the end of
the day, this is hoops. This is competitive. When we're inside those

(04:00):
four lines, it's smoke after it'sall love. We didn't hit her like
she was out on the streets. This is just basketball, which is kind
of like fifty percent of the conversationyesterday. A lot of people said this
is the competitive side of things, while other people thought it was brutal and
unnecessary. Maybe, but that's eightiesbasketball. We bad boys fans here for
the Pistons know what that's all about. Katelyn Clark is getting a heavy dose

(04:21):
of it. And finally, KendallJenner apparently knew very early on who Gary
Turner was eventually going to propose toon The Golden Bachelor. It's been a
new trailer for an upcoming episode ofThe Kardashians where Kendall got a hold of
Gary's phone because her and the sisterswere calling his daughter Angie, who happens

(04:43):
to be a very big fan ofthe Kardashians, when they discovered an interesting
saved contact photo for one Teresa. Now, at this point, The Golden
Bachelor had only been on for liketwo episodes. My mom pulled some strings
and got Gary to come over fordinner. What did you not see what
I saw? I don't I've seensome things that I shouldn't have seen.

(05:06):
That was the thing, apparently, though it never got out. Kendall told
the sisters told Chris. They keptit very close to the best until the
actual finale, which you know didn'tend up being true love anyway, cause
they're geting divorced, all right.Interesting hear me out here ones on Hulu,
the other shows on ABC. Ismell synergy big timecy Morgarion Kardashians.

(05:28):
Well, I just think that it'snot all of your celeb Scoop at West
Michigan. Start off at sometimes doesget a good fee to get this down
to a great start. Shall wefeeling good on starlit O Fine Points?
Yeh, And it's Mack and Schmidty. And you know, I just love
our West Michigan community because it's alwaysthinking about others and that includes so many

(05:48):
of our great restaurants in the areaand in Kalamazoo. There's a spot over
on the just outside Western Michigan University'scampus, East Egg Campus is what it's
called serving up all sorts of breakfastand lunch options over there. But the
owner, whose name is Tammy Rousch, said her business wanted to give back

(06:09):
to the community. It was alittle bit tough, as you know,
sort of new ownership and being ableto do it in the quantity that they
wanted. Well, a few yearsago she saw the trend of the blessing
giving or receipt walls that have beenhappening at food spots around the country,
and she was inspired by an ownerof a restaurant in another state who has
one of them, and she decidedshe wanted right there at East Egg Campus

(06:31):
to start doing one as well.So just a few weeks ago got it
up and it is off to ahuge start. She is so excited to
see people stepping up for the communityas she talk to wood TV eight about
this new program that they're doing atthe restaurant, somed ANSOLCID security where the
money is are out for the month. Somebody who's unhoused, you know,
a family who's going through a hardtime. You know, we always have

(06:54):
kids meals up there. You tellyour server, you know, can I
get to the ticket number four offthe giving wall, the order and then
the kitchen we'll cook it for you. It's like treating them good, letting
them know that mean a part ofthe community. You know, you should
get treated with the same respect. That's right, and you can walk in
there and you could perhaps get someone'snext meal if you're someone in need yourself

(07:15):
too. Again, it's the EastEgg Campus. It's only been going for
about two weeks ready and already theyhave given over thirty five free meals out
to local people who need well. You know, we are your official Christmas
station and this kind of sounds likethe Angel Tree all year long. It's
brilliant, brilliant. Okay. Imaginebeing given the gift of life and then
figuring out it was from your formerteacher. This story is amazing. Five

(07:39):
year old Ezra to Check is receivingthe gift of life in the form of
a new liver. The young boysuffered liver damage at birth and has since
been fighting serious ongoing health challenges andthen a recent diagnosis that his liver is
failing due to end stage liver disease. But a beacon of hope has hit

(08:00):
because his former preschool teacher, CarissaFisher, learned of her former student's condition
back in March, and without lettingEzra's family know, she applied to become
a living donor. So she wentto New York City. She went through
all the testing, weeks of waiting, and just found out she is a

(08:22):
perfect match. This is the momentshe showed up to Ezra's house with balloons,
his favorite stuffy and a poster askingif he'd love her liver. She's
a perfect match. Are you hearing? Liver? For you. I'm gonna

(08:50):
I mean, Ozra is absolutely speechless. This is incredible. So next the
family just waits for that surgery appointmentto be made, and Ezra is on
his way to recovery, all becauseof his preschool teacher. Yeah, I'll
put the video up for you,West Michigan Star. We said it before
you said it. I think justlast week. We don't deserve you,

(09:13):
teachers. We don't. So thoseof you that are wrap it up your
school year in reredible, you're almostthere. Those that are already done,
cheers to you, and a bigthank you to each and every one of
you for sure. But feeling good, always here to highlight great things going
on, and we'll do it againfor you coming up this morning, another
round, another dose of positivity, gonna hit you at nine to twenty this
morning. Here on Star one ohfive point seven, Movies, music and

(09:33):
all the gossip in one place. It's the Celebrity Scoop on Star one oh
five point seven. Well, theInternet is thinking that Lady Gaga may be
expecting, sparking some pregnancy rumors asa lot of fans think she was displaying
a bump at her sister Natalie's weddingin Maine. So here's the deal.

(09:56):
She was seen wearing a form fittingblack dress over the week. Again,
the pictures have now gone viral, and it appears to look like she's cradling
a bit of a baby bump.Of course, she was also alongside her
longtime partner Michael Polanski, and shewas also rocking a pretty massive diamond ring
at the rehearsal dinner. It's interestingbecause the only other really public outing we've

(10:20):
seen of her recently was the HBOpremiere of her concert film Gaga chromatica Ball,
and she wore a very quirky ensembleGaga like, but it did completely
block her tummy. So naturally everybodyis wondering now if maybe Gaga's going to
be a mama, well as adude. Schminnie, I don't feel comfortable
asking, so I'll ask you.Is she pregnant? I don't know,

(10:41):
you don't know. I hate talkingabout this because honestly, it's a rehearsal
dinner. Maybe you just had alike a lot at the chocolate fountains.
Is it a taco baby? Ican see though, given how she's standing
and the way her arms are, there would be some rumor here I got
you. Sean Kingston has officially beenbooked in the Broward Jail about a week

(11:01):
after his South Florida home was raidedby cops. The rapper and singer,
as well as his mom, havebeen charged with defrauding companies and people of
over a million dollars worth of goodsand services. He was originally arrested at
Fort Erwin, but then agreed tobe extradited to Florida. His mother,
Janis arrested the same day. Kingstonis facing a mountain of charges. It

(11:24):
includes perpetrating an organized scheme to defraudseveral companies, grand theft, identity theft,
fraud, and other crimes involving ajeweler and exotic car dealer and several
other businesses. Now, Kingston's lawyer, Robert Rosenblatt, told AP News they're
confident that they're going to achieve aquote, sex sexiful resolution regarding these charges.

(11:48):
That's interesting because the way it looksto me like he's going to jail.
Yeah. And finally, Miley Cyrusis talking about life in her thirties,
working with Beyonce and working out inheels. It's a really cool interview.
For the singer. She is talkingto w Magazine volume three, the
Pop issue. First up her lifestyle, which she says is extremely clean in

(12:13):
her thirties, sobriety is a bigpart of it. My mantra, like
anning athlete, practice how you perform. That's why I practice in heels.
She said. The gym looks tough, but then I've got my Ivory Gucci
slingbacks on. I train mostly inheels. I'm interested in feminizing the workout
space. She also talks about teamingup with Beyonce on that surprise collaboration the

(12:39):
one you're hearing right now to MostWanted, and it was a real highlight
if you didn't know. Miley originallywrote this song, and she said,
my mom would always tell me howmuch she loved this song. So when
Beyonce reached out to me about music, I thought of this right away.
It totally encompasses our relationship. Iremember telling her we don't have to get
country. We are country. We'vebeen country, you being from Texas,

(13:01):
me from Tennessee. So much ofus is going to be in this song.
She also said it forged and evencloser friendship for her and Beyonce.
It's a great song, it isand foremost and what she has to say,
plus the photospread on this ooh doI love Miley in her thirties and
Schmitty is athletic, high heels anduntapped market that she could become like the

(13:22):
next Nike for all of your celebscoop at West Michigan Star dot com.
And you know what, if youdon't have a convertible, there are ways
around it, Schmitty. How howin the world these absolutely ridiculous arguments you
get into with your kids? AndI remember this a bit with my son,

(13:43):
who's now six, but it seemsto be on an entirely different level
with my three year old daughter. So my kids are still in school.
They got a couple days left, and this is what went down when I
went to pick my daughter up onFriday. A heads up, someone in
my TikTok come and said, itsounds like a feral cat. So I
apologize for that coming through your speakersthis early in the morning. Oh my

(14:05):
goodness, yeah you're not. It'sliterally a car seat that keeps you alive,
keeps you alive. Do you wantto know why she was upset?
Everyone? She was upset. Imade her sit in her car seat instead
of on the roof of my carbecause quote, she wanted the wind.

(14:28):
I mean, that is upsetting. All you want to do is be free
like a BIRDEMITTI. And meanwhile, you got this overburied? Does tiger mom?
Who stands? This? Shows downgirl, not letting you do what
you want to do in this world. Okay. It was absolutely at my
wits freaking end because she's three,so already you don't stand a chance of

(14:52):
making any kind of sense to herbecause in her single track mind, she
wants the wind. She needs tobe on the roof of the car.
But then it's hard enough strapping yourkids into those car seats. So I'm
trying to get the five part harnesstogether while she's literally kicking going I just
want the wind. And I thoughtthere have to be parents that have had
the most insane arguments with their kids. And I put this on our Facebook

(15:16):
so that you could see. AndI had one of the best lines because
my kids had just started this,Loriy, make him stop looking out my
window. Ohment so many popped inand she goes, oh mine too,
and I'm like, oh my god, this is the last time we went

(15:37):
up north. She's looking out mywindow. She's touching my part of the
car. I'm like, who hasa part of the it's my car.
Y'all aren't making the payments on this. But oh, you just cannot reason
with the children sometimes. I don'tknow if I took a car trip before
the ages of like ten years oldfor my kids where there wasn't an imaginary

(15:58):
line that got crossed malt sutiple timesthat was like, Oh, this is
it. This means World War threeis about to begin. All you have
to do is put your finger onthis side of the light. And I
swear to God, you know,it's so hard, so hard for me.
My kids actually despise the quiet game. They don't like it. So
I know some parents that are like, oh, just say, hey,
whoever's quiet the longest one's the tree. I was like, my kids don't

(16:19):
care about the treats. They wouldmuch rather scream. I don't know who
Mandy biting heis is, but shewas tagged multiple times on Facebook with people
saying I thought you'd enjoy this.Check out the comments. So I guess
Mandy just know that we are mothersin arms together because I'm assuming you are

(16:40):
also having a bit of a journeyright now. Honestly, Schmitdi, I
wish you would have just turned upsome bet Meddler, you know, a
little wind beneath my wings and givingyour daughter all she needed in this world,
and that was the freedom she deserveson the roof of your vehicle.
No offense to bet, but weboth would have been screaming louder had I
played this in the car, soreal quick, just just a recap that

(17:03):
is very fairal cat like, you'renot very angry, very angry. It's
literally a car seat that keeps youalive, keeps you alive again. The
reason I'm a terrible mother. Iwould not allow my three year old to
ride on the roof of my carbecause she wanted the wind. They don't
put everything in the baby books. They don't put anything if I don't diaper

(17:27):
changing any of this. Smitty's sosalty, sort of like when you gotta
let all the pressure out of yourinstant pot. It's what we do every
week here, salty Schmitty on Stavnofound point seven. What's going on?
Okay, So we had quite theweekend planned last weekend where we were going
to kind of clear out. Weback up to woods and we're trying to

(17:48):
create this huge hangout space. We'vegot to raised bonfire pit and we're gonna
put like pea stone in nice chairs. We're gonna hang lights from the trees.
But there's definitely some cleanup. There'sa bunch of like bree from previous
owners that we were gonna wood chip. Chris had this great idea, so
we rented this wood chipper and thenhe towed it down there with his truck

(18:08):
back into the woods. Fortunately,we get it back there and realized the
clutch is broken on it. Theyhad rented us a broken chipper, so
we didn't get to do any ofthat over the weekend. My problem is
that then my husband just left everythingback there without really saying anything. And
let me tell you when I wokeup Sunday morning and saw the front of

(18:29):
a car peeking out of our woodsand I thought, either the FBI is
about to raid us or someone iscasing our house to break into it,
I'd a pull on freak out.Only for Christy the piepage. It's just
the woodchipper. I was like, you know what, I'm gonna chip you
for how scared. I was reallyso sulky. So I mean, did
you have instant PTSD because you walkedin on a burglary? Yes? I

(18:53):
figured your freaked out. You're like, look, the number one way to
dispose of a body is sitting inmy backyard right now. Now, this
is not making me comfort. Itwas very fargo in a not great way.
If you get that reference movies, music and all the gossip in one
place. It's the celebrities goop onStar one oh five point seven. The

(19:17):
WNBA has definitely been dominating headlines thelast couple days, and now Pat McAfee
of The Pat McAfee Show is issuingan apology over something he said about Caitlin
Clark, the Indiana Fever superstar,on his show, kicking off the monologue
yesterday morning. But I would likethe media people that continue to say this

(19:40):
rookie class, this rookie class, this rookie class, not just call it
for what it is. There's onewhite bush for the Indiana team who is
a superstar. I guess trying tosound complimentary, just not done in a
super great way. The backlash wasalmost immediate online. Yesterday afternoon, he
addressed to the criticism, saying heshould not have used that phrase when describing

(20:03):
Caitlin Clark, and he personally senther an apology for his mistake, saying,
no matter the context, even ifwe're talking about race being a reason
for some of the stuff happening,I have way too much respect for her
and women to put that into theuniverse. He added on X, My
intentions when saying it were complimentary, just like the entire segment, but a
lot of folks are saying that itcertainly was not at all. That's one
hundred percent on me for that.I apologize. Yeah, I mean literally,

(20:27):
this segment was about building her upand saying how important she is and
how amazing she is, and hejust did it at a complete and he
talks about a lot of the otherplayers too. He was really just talking
about how the WNBA is here. It's incredible. People need to be watching.
Kanye West is being sued for sexualharassment by his ex assistant. Lauren

(20:48):
Pisciotti has filed a lawsuit saying shewas an OnlyFans model who posted a bunch
of different picks and was super successful, making about a million a year,
so then you hired her back inJuly of twenty twenty one, She says
she collaborated with him and worked onhim for three of his songs off the
Donda album Too. But a yearlater, she says he came to her

(21:10):
and wanted her to be godlike, asked her to delete the only Fans account.
She agreed, but then says shortlythereafter, Kanye began sending her a
series of very inappropriate text messages. He wanted her to cheat with him,
very vulgar stuff. Eventually, pictureswere sent and the ers claims that he

(21:36):
did things when he was on thephone with her. After she brought this
up, he booted her. Shesays she was fired and offered no money
al because she would not do exactlywhat he wanted, So she issuing for
breach of contract, harassment, wrongfultermination, and hostile work environment. You
know, this sounds bits and pieceswise, very familiar to some patterns we've

(21:59):
seen Kanye coming for being really controlling, from Kim to his new wife Bianca
and now this too. It justkind of sounds pretty similar like other Kanye
stories we've heard. Yeah, Iwould be interested in how Bianca feels about
this. We had it in yourWest Michigan Wake Up earlier, but I
wanted to hit it again. It'sgoing to be an incredible Thursday night in

list is long, Schmidty. YesterdayI shoveled my face with an entire container

(24:17):
of potatoes. Ala, It's probablymore things I drank like I do the
coffee here, but I can't drinkcoffee black, and since we don't have
the delicious big baby, have somelike knockoff something. I put the hot
cocoa in there, Okay, sopeople hot hold and he takes coffee,
yeah, and dumps the dry powderedhot cocoa into it like it's flavoring.

(24:38):

(25:26):

It was candy followed by chocolate them, potato chips and bread rounding out
those top answers. And we willdo it again tomorrow for another chance at

(25:47):
those imagined dragon tickets. Battle ofthe Sex is eight fifteen here on stock
Good morning to see you. It'sMack and Schmidty, and I think Schmidty
quite possibly, it's the most entertainingsee has ever been in the history of
time, quite possibly. How didit go when you took your kids to
work? Because this video has goneviral this morning. Representative John Rose of

(26:11):
Tennessee brought his six year old sonGuy with him to Capitol Hill yesterday.
Now we're not getting political here. The representative was speaking out against the recent
felony convictions of former President Donald Trump. Here's a little piece of that.
Revenge seems to be the motive. We're hearing the quiet part out loud,

(26:32):
mister speaker. It's often sad byMasha. Sure, here's the deal.
His six year old son is sittingright behind him, making faces, sticking
out his tongue. At one point, I feel like we see a hand
jive dance going on as a asa child. On the inside of my
mind, I'm pretty sure he wastrying to make some of his fingers disappear,
like he was trying to do likea camera a trick to just sort

(26:56):
of fool the audience into the mysticismthat is magic. Keithan opened the steeple.
See all the people we saw thatone. Yeah, I mean this
kid and he realizes it about thirtyseconds into his dad's speech that he is
perfectly in line with the camera. And you see this big smile on the
six year old's face, scoots overand gets perfectly in line. This is

(27:17):
a five minute speech, and thiskid does just about everything I bet your
kid would do if they came toyour office. In all honesty, if
the goal for your father was tobe seen to hear that message out there,
the only reason why that's happening isbecause your son was. And now
the whole world has heard your spiel. I mean, you've got to this

(27:38):
kid is killing us. I putthe video up on our Facebook at West
Michigan Star sometime does that get afeeling well, I see that sun trying
to peek out from behind the clouds. We can brighten things up even more.
It's feeling good, un Stobo Finepoint seven, Macka's bitty hanging with

(27:59):
you. I mean, an unbelievablemoment at Grandville Middle School. So here's
the background. Ryan Fisher unexpectedly passedaway about a decade ago at only seventeen
years old, and since then Grandvillehas chosen to honor bulldogs every year with
something called the B eleven Ward.Ryan's family is a big part of this.

(28:22):
His mom explains to Wood TV whatB eleven means. It's that step
a long the time. Tens aregreat, but if you can go above
and beyond and make people feel goodevery day and reach out to those people
that are different than you and moreso. Of course, Grandville finished up
school late last week and that's whenthe Bee and eleven Award is handed out
to multiple different students. But whatthe Fishers didn't realize was the surprise they

(28:48):
were going to have sitting in thatgymnasium to honor their son. Their other
son, Connor, has been atWest Point studying. We hold a pretty

(29:17):
incredible moment as the surprise and flewConnor home for this incredible experience and he's
just so thrilled. Not the onlysurprise, as we then discovered the gymnasium
being named after Ryan. You arenow and will be known as to have

(29:45):
the gym named after him and tohave a piece of him here forever,
