(00:00):
I forgot all about all of theresponsibilities we have today because I'm trying to
get an early start tomorrow because We'regoing to be one of those people for
my husband's like, all right,so let's plan out the next few days.
I'm thinking, He's like, weneed to be to my mom's tomorrow
by two thirty. I said, fabulous. When Triple A says forty thousand,
billion, million infinity other people willbe on the road at the same
time. What's the worst time youcan travel Wendesday, early afternoon. Yeah,

(00:23):
so we'll make it. We'll makeit. You know what. I'm
blessed to be able to go andsee family anyway. That's one hundred percent
true. And speaking of family,I gotta ask, because I didn't get
to see you yesterday, how wasthe hobby in the little man's hunting trip?
Did they are they back? Didthey did they get it? They
did not get anything, but theyhad the greatest time. They had the
greatest time. I, however, got to see four different people with dead

(00:45):
carcasses strapped to the roof of theircar on my travels between here and Lansing
over the weekend. It's a look, isn't it. That's something I was
like, I don't know, maybemaybe we figure out something else. They
don't have to look at a literaltongue waving in the wind as I'm following
you on ninety six. That's abadge of honor, SCHMITTI. That is
I'm showing you my trophy. Rightthere is what's going on this right here.
Not only is it going to beburgers later on, but this is

(01:07):
how I spent my weekend, movies, music, and all the gossip in
one place. It's the celebritiescoop onStar one oh five point seven. Well,
if you did not stay up forMonday night football as we saw a
Super Bowl rematch between the Kansas CityChiefs and Philadelphia Eagles last night, that's
all you saw because Travis and Taylor'sparents did not meet as was originally planned.

(01:33):
Taylor was not able to jet outof South America for the game last
night because she was performing in Rioafter she canceled and moved her scheduled show
from Saturday night. She postponed thatfor the safety and well being of fans
amid those soaring temperatures that claimed life. So the parents thought well with Travis
on the Field and Taylor not here. It doesn't really make sense for us

(01:55):
to show up and try to dothis thing. So now rumor has it
they'll figure out something either between Thanksgivingand Christmas to kind of do the whole
meet the parents thing. I mean, that's that's cute and everything. The
NFL was devastating. I was goingto say, the NFL would have totally
been fined with just the parents andthe kels Is and there's the swims and
looking they're wearing their separate jerseys.I mean like it would have been fun.

(02:16):
Well, I had the story onFriday. The NFL network was treating
this like a news story, sono doubt they were very, very sad
this did not work out. LeonardoDiCaprio is revealing the one goal he wants
to accomplish before his milestone fiftieth birthdaynext year. So he just celebrated the
big or nine remember with that huge, star studded party last weekend. He

(02:38):
is actually in a big interview withGood Morning America this morning, and we
got a preview of that. You'reforty nine years old. How the hell
did that happen? I have noidea. We were talking about our first
interview that may have been thirty yearsago. What do you want to do
before you turn fifty? Mmm?Good question. Well, you know every

(02:59):
now and then? Know what?Just one one more movie, one more
movie, one more movie. He'sjoined by his Killers of the Flower Moon
co star Lily Gladstone. Now theentire interview will air later this morning,
but it's very interesting to hear himtalk like that when so many people feel
like he's got a heck of acareer ahead of him. He's only fifty,

(03:20):
and he's proven that there are stillso many directors ready to hire him.
But he does seem very very takenby his age. And I hate
to say it, but man, when you see the video he looks almost
fifty, it's like the first timeI feel like I've really went, oh
my gosh. Leonardo DiCaprio is almostfifty. As you say, because you're
a big Leo fan, do youfeel like he's aging like a fine wine

(03:40):
or that he's aging as like anormal human being? Does? I do
think fine wine? He's not.I don't notice the work part of things,
right. It doesn't look like he'sputting a bunch of stuff into his
face in a weird way, soI'll be happy for that. But it
is very interesting when you look backat like the Titanic days to now.
Well, I'll put the video atWest Michigan Star dot com. Finally,

(04:01):
Post Malone dropped in unexpectedly at anIrish bar in New Zealand, and boy
did fans get an unbelievable experience. They had no idea post he was actually
there. All of a sudden,he hops on stage to sing a little
Sublime Urpy Rast and he sounds amazing. He was at Danny Dooland's Irish pub

(04:32):
in Auckland, apparently stayed for aboutfour hours, partying with everybody at the
bar. Was super kind, superfriendly, jammed out to a few more
songs. He also sang I'm gonnabe five hundred miles by the Proclaimer.
Yes, so it was really reallyfun and a lot of fans thinking,
like, man, it would beso cool if he did one of those

(04:55):
scaled down intimate venue tours because hewas just so in his limit. According
to fans, I love his musicaltaste. I mean rocking some Sublime some
of the Proclaimers, you remember hedid during the pandemic. He did that
entire fundraiser where he just sat thereand played the entire Nirvana never Mind album
on his good tell Yeah, Iwould love if he decided to do like
small You know Ed Sheeran is thinkingof doing that now and he's going to

(05:18):
be going to those smaller spots.I think that would be perfect for post.
I've got the entire at least oneof his performances up for you with
your scoop at West Michigan Star dotcom. This week, we're talking Turkey.
It's Mack and Schmidty with you.And it's okay to look forward at
the holidays and not be excited aboutsome parts of it all, right,
Like we can all be thankful peoplewho appreciate the blessings in our life while

(05:42):
still recognizing there's some annoyances. Youtake the good with the bad, right,
It's like anything in life. There'sthings you're gonna love and there's things
that are going to be quite stressful, especially if you're a parent, and
especially for those of us that arehosting Thanksgiving. Schmitty, because this is
where I was going at with mylife. The cycle of cleaning that takes
place when you are hosting a largegathering for any holidays, so ridiculous and

(06:08):
stupid, because if you're my houseanyway, relatively relatively clean homes, I
mean average, I would say,at best, especially with an eight and
a ten year old, But whenit comes time for the holidays, we
go through this process where maybe wedon't clean very much the weekend before because
we sit there and go, oh, well, we got all these people
coming. We're you know, we'regonna have to clean like crazy over the

(06:30):
next couple of year. And thenimmediately that switch flips and all the stress
washes over my wife and I andit's like, we have to completely change
everything in this house or it's adisaster. And then you remember the square
footage you've got and you're like,there ain't no way. But I mean,
we start finding problems, we startgoing through them like oh that's disgusting,
this is gross. Oh my goodness, And so we spend days days

(06:54):
cleaning leading up to this. Yesterday, I went over to my sister's house
to see her. She's eight plusmonths pregnant, and my wife is like,
I'm staying here. I can cleanwithout these two kids here, without
my third kid just talking about methere to mess things up. That's our
problem. I've got a five yearold and a two year old. We
do not clean ahead of time.We can't. There's no way, not

(07:14):
with a little one like that.Nothing stays clean. We have a three
hour window before people come over.It is about the limit of maybe eight
Bluey's or a solid Disney Princess movie. That's all we have. How long
is all we have? How longhave you been cleaning an entire season of
Bluey right now? Like cause otherwiseit's just absolutely not worth it. Everything

(07:36):
you've done is undone in mere minutes. Well, and that's the part that
so we spend all that time,We spend days getting everything ready, and
then everybody shows up and we addin another eleven and nine year old,
a three year old and a fiveyear old who are all staying at my
house, and everything that we havedone for three days straight is all undone
in a matter of like a coupleof hours. You live through the bomb
and then you get done, andwhat are you left with? Days of

(07:59):
cleaning that you don't do because youdon't want to do. I only spend
the three hours, and then that'sall you've missed in life? You know,
I'm you know it's to some ofthese schmitty styles of cleaning up.
I just don't have any other choice. So I asked this and say,
what's your favorite part of Thanksgiving?Wrong answers only, and some people had
some pretty good ones. Here,Laurie, how about prepping for weeks and

(08:20):
everyone eats everything within a thirty minuteperiod and all leave without helping clean up
and take all your tupperware for theirleftovers. Oh, I think you can
say something that's rude, like you'renot allowed to take those yams unless you
clean up me clean up, likethe kids always do the cleanup at my
parents' house because my mom is spentso much time. Uh, that's not
cool. Yeah, that's not cool. As the host, it's a tough

(08:43):
balance between being like, no,thank you guys so much for coming here
and being a part of this yourfamily, I'd be like, yeah,
yeah, uncle Jeff, you canget off the couch and put some of
these leftovers away. Thank you somuch. Don Nailed, I think what
a lot of guys experienced hearing theholidays. You got the Lions football game
on all the families there, andwhat's the thing? Don is sarcastically looking

(09:05):
forward to watching the game with iton mute because we like to talk to
each other. Oh my favorite isthe fact that you think you're gonna be
watching the Lions game again. Maybejust people with little kids. It will
be on your phone because once againBluie will be on the screen because the
kids need to be kept at leastsomewhat calm. Can we watch honolulub honelulu

(09:26):
bluey today sometimes? Does that geta good feeling? Yeah? Oh,
hopefully staring down the barrel of anice long holiday weekend as you feeling good,
but we're here to pick you up. Two, including the amazing stories
like this right here in our ownbackyard where gile jl Bournan Schmidty she began

(09:48):
feeling weak while she was running atschool when she was just ten years old,
and within twenty four hours she wasin the emergency room where doctors had
found out that she had actually hadkid and heart failure. At the same
time, they told her that Jael'skidneys stopped growing and she was unable to
keep up with her body was justunable to keep up with things as she

(10:09):
got older, and immediately her dad, Cornelia Schmidti, said I'm going to
be at Donor. He was prettymuch dead out about that because he wanted
to be in a perfect match forit. So five months later, after
being taken to Helen Devaz Children's Hospital, they learned they would be going in
together to get that first kidney transplant. When somebody gets a kidney this young,

(10:30):
though, it's often the first ofseveral kidneys that they have to get
throughout their lifetime, so making surethat that first one is a really healthy
one that's going to last as longas possible is critical. Well, her
dad's kidney worked out perfect. LivingDonor kidneys wind up being the best ones
to be transplanted with for anybody,so he was able to give his daughter
this incredible gift. Now the twoof them were covered together, but from

(10:52):
there he also wanted to show herthat, you know, just having some
of these limitations in life, someof these health things were not going to
slow you down, and we're notgoing to stop you. So this year,
Cornelius actually competed in the Living DonorGames Championship in Connecticut, competed in
CrossFit challenges and took third place thirdplace for this big national competition from right

(11:13):
here in Grand Rapids and he justsaid, you know, the goal is
just to show that you can livea strong and healthy life, telling w
ZZM that you know, he's alwaysgot somebody in his corner, and then
making this donation is not something that'sgoing to have to limit you later on.
Donating a kidney doesn't ruin your yourfuture because I always hear go daddy

(11:35):
or good job dad. J Lwas with her dad when he took third
place in those games there in Connecticut, and she's back and feeling active herself
now. In just two years afterthat first hospital visit, she's back in
the saddle again, playing basketball, volleyball, riding horses, action theater,
and getting to be a twelve yearold kid like she should be as well
deserved. Okay, this is soexciting. I've been talking about this because

(11:58):
the Jennison March Band is officially inNew York gearing up for the big Macy's
Thanksgiving Day Parade, which is justtwo days away. Last night was very
very cool though, while the studentsgot to spend the day being tourists,
it was last night they found theirway to thirty fourth Street in Manhattan.
Yep, it was their big practice. So this is very interesting. Usually

(12:22):
participants are only allowed to do apractice early in the morning on Thursday,
but parade organizers kind of changed thingsup this year and the band had a
scheduled rehearsal on that very famous staroutside of Macy's. Last night. They
had one minute, fifteen second performanceand they had ten minutes to work out
any challenges. Just a ten minutepractice. But that's not the only one.

(12:46):
They will also head to a fieldhouse in Connecticut tomorrow afternoon for a
final practice and they'll get a chanceto actually play in Central Park this afternoon.
Now, they won't be able toplay any of the music planned for
the televised parade, but it'll bea great opportunity to just kind of work
out any of those jitters right now. Band director Dave Simborski said that they've

(13:07):
had a lot of practice at JennisonHigh School. In fact, they actually
placed a tarp on the soccer fieldwith a replica of the Macy's star right
in the middle so that they couldkind of work out placing because when you
think about it, he says, whenever we do marching, we always have
lines on a field to know wherewe're going. The parade is entirely different,

(13:28):
but the kids are so excited aboutthis. Don't miss out. The
parade kicks off at eight thirty an NBC and of course would TV on
Thursday morning, and we'll be rootingon our Jennison High School marching band.
It looks like they are having sucha cool time from all the pictures and
video that I've been following, Imean the idea that you're going to play
in this once in a lifetime kindof events, not to mention that I'll

(13:50):
just play at Central Park, oneof the most famous places on Earth while
rabits. I just really love howthey've changed up so many things that these
kids will have so many experiences toplay their instruments. So I've linked it
up to if you want to followalong with that Wood TV Live blog West
Michigan Star dot com. All right, feeling good? Comin answer twice,
I always hear to lift your spiritsand during the holidays, it just makes
it that much better. We'll doit again for you this morning. Nine's

(14:11):
twenty here on starbe oh five pointseven movies, music and all the gossip
in one place. It's the celebritiescoopon Star one oh five point seven oh
actress Suki Waterhouse and Robert Pantinsen arehaving a baby. She finally confirmed the
exciting news at the Corona Capital MusicFestival in Mexico, where she had on

(14:35):
a very very sparkly, form fittingdress that definitely showed off a baby bump.
I decided to wear something particularly sparklytoday because I thought it might distract
you from something else that's going on. I'm not sure if it's working.

(14:58):
Okay, you have been fueling rumorsfor a few weeks now, ever since
fans thought they started to spot avery changing body on Suki. But of
course, you know that's just awoman thing. But indeed the two are
expecting this will be their first childtogether. They've been dating for five years,

(15:18):
notoriously private, but are really reallyexcited about this. You know,
I can't help but and I thinkof Robert Pattinson and I think of baby.
I'm sorry, but I still haveTwilight visions in my head now they
were planning a Twilight comments, Yeah, lots of that on her Instagram.
Ditty is officially off the hook.Cassie's lawsuit against Ditty was dismissed in court

(15:46):
yesterday. Remember these were the bombshellallegations including abuse and human trafficking. Well,
on Friday, both Cassie and Diddyannounced they had settled the lawsuits.
So per legal documents, they say, pursuant to an agreement between the parties,
plaintiff hereby dismisses this action with prejudiceand without costs or fees to either

(16:07):
party. Now people are still verymuch talking about this because it was very
very, very very fast that didhe wanted this settled and out of the
public eye. Well, and theallegations were so intense and so graphic.
Yeah, and serious. I don'tthink this is over. I know they
you know, obviously he wanted itto be over. Maybe she wanted it
to be over too, just tomove on with her life, you know,

(16:30):
or whatever the case may be.There. I don't think that people
are going to let this drive. She did announce, I've decided to resolve
this matter amicably on terms that Ihave some level of control. Very interesting.
Snoop Dogg may have shocked you lastweek when he said he was given
up the smoke, but when youknow it is just another business venture for

(16:51):
the rapper. This is what hehad to say on Instagram yesterday, I
have an announcement. I'm giving upsmoke. I don't know what you can
think it, Snoop. Smoke iskind of your whole thing. But I'm
done with done with the coffin.I'm a close, smelling, all sticky
iggy. I'm going smokeless. Solostove fixed five. They took out the

(17:12):
smoke clever woh yes, solo stove. Indeed, the Death Row Records CEO
is a part of a new businesspartnership that showcases how fabulous the new bonfire
pit is. Yeah, whatever, well played. I do love a solo

(17:33):
stove. Well play agreed, andit was a clever marketing campaign for them.
At the same time, I justdidn't expect it, Snoop Dog to
be like here, buy these threehundred dollars bonfire pits like like of course,
with his Martha Stewart stuff, allof he's got cell phone stuff.
The guy's an entrepreneur first and foremost. But his video is pretty funny,

(17:53):
so you've got to check it outfor yourself. I got it up with
your Scoop at West Michigan Star dotcom. And you know, Schmiddy delegate
is such an important part of anybig holiday family function. Well, it's
not hard delegation if you're straight uplike schminny, don't bring anything because we
don't trust anything that you cook ormake. Just bring yourself. Your presence
is the greatest present of all ismy mother's favorite saying. And we actually

(18:17):
have two Thanksgiving so I mean,we're doing one tomorrow night with Chris's side
of the family, and then we'lldo one on Thursday with my side of
the family. And neither one ofthem want me anywhere near I offer.
I was like, I can doroles. No, no, no,
no, no no. We knowhow busy you are, We know that
it's just been a really tough weekendinto the week. You no, no,

(18:42):
but seriously, no, don't bringanything, Lauren, don't do it.
And I know it's because they don'ttrust how I cook. And I
know. We had a really reallytriggering moment years and years and years ago.
We used to go to Chicago overa year for Thanksgiving, where my
dad's family is and my aunt cannotcook, and we had a very very
rough year where everyone got really badfood, poisoning everyone. We actually had

(19:04):
to extend our trip because we literallycouldn't drive home. So I get that
we all have this really bad memoryand nobody wants that to be a repeat.
But like it hurts my feelings alittle bit. I even offered to
bring I found these really fun mimosason Instagram where you pour the champagne and
then you make orange juice and cranberryjuice ice cubes and then you put those

(19:26):
in there with like a little sprigof rose. But no, my mom's
like, I can I can grabOJ and cranberry juice. I can grab
this. You just you just bringour grandkids. But Chris gets to make
like three dishes. Let's be fair. They want his parogis and his sour
crowd and his deviled eggs. Okay, so this is I understand where this
is coming from. And I'm sorry. I love, by the way,

(19:48):
your Mamosa's idea. One that's reallysurprised they didn't let you go that route.
I would have thought that your momwould have been like, you know
what, I think I'm gonna leaveit. I really think i'd buy expired
OJ or something. But Chris, here's the thing, is doing unique things,
things that like he brings to thetable as an individual who's a part
of the family, but like, bring a little twist, I mean throwing

(20:08):
some perogies into the tind of thingstable. He always brings the Polish food,
that's all. And I have mysister in law brings this crazy cheesy
pineapple dish that has become like Ihave to bring into my other family Thanksgiving
on off years because everybody loves thisthing so much. So I feel like
when you knew something out of thebox unique, people want you to do
it. When you're doing the basicstuffhere, you're like, can I bring

(20:29):
the pop? Can I bring therolls? People like power? I don't
know what are you in charge offor your Thanksgiving? Because there's some people
that have all of the responsibility.I feel so bad, Kyle said,
the whole bleeping thing. I hopethe eating pleasure of twelve in my hands.
It may end up being Chinese takeout. I don't think anybody tops poor

(20:55):
Calvin. Calvin, I'm doing atwenty four pound turkey any ten pound ham
for the family Thanksgiving this year. That's see, those people are amazing.
More days of cooking, I know. I'm always impressed by the people who
are willing to do more than oneturkey or more than one main course like
you have. Yeah, I knowpeople that do, like, we gotta
have the fried turkey, and wegotta have the bank turkey, and then

(21:17):
other people will do the smoke turkeywith it, and it's like, dude,
I am freaking out about the oneeighteen pound bird that I'm responsible for
because you screw that one up andit's all over for you. By the
way, if you are deep frayinga turkey this year, please please please,
I'm sure all of our wonderful localfire departments have indeed or plan to
post safety videos. Don't do itin your garage, don't do it on

(21:38):
your deck. Make sure that youhave a big, wide, open like
cement surface, and follow the directionsof how much boil to put in before
the bird goes in. We justwant you to like have all of your
skin on Friday instead of just someof it. Hey, you know we
all get grease stains on our clothesduring Thanksgiving. Let's not do the grease
fire though that's not as easy toget out. Insurance come copanies everywhere.

(22:00):
We'll be standing by six one six, four five, eight, one oh
five seven. What are you trustedwith for Thanksgiving? Are you doing the
whole thing on your own? Becausewe got to praise you for that.
So we got our turkey the otherday, Smitty, and of course on
it is the Butterball Turkey hotline forthose people. If you don't time,

(22:21):
you're gonna screw it up. Pleasefree Smitty's so salty. I'm gonna say
this, and I know so manyof you are going to gasp and potentially
hate me forever, but I'm saltyand I'm gonna be really salty on Thanksgiving.
If my cranberries don't come out ofa can, you gotta have the

(22:42):
cheap stuff? Are you low effort? Love the canned cranberries? And it
kills. It kills. My mother. She still does it for me every
single year Thanksgiving in Christmas because shehas this amazing recipe passed down from my
great great grandmother all the way downthe line of women, and the her

(23:03):
cranberry sauce for cranberries for homemade stuffis good. It's so good. Oh,
but it's not that circle with theridges from the can still on them.
I love cranberries out of the canevery holiday table. It's like sit
that right, in front of myplate. I will devour those. You
can save your homemade business for everybodyelse. Smitty, so Salky, your

(23:29):
poor mother, Smitty, she slavesaway, and then you need the can
crap. I mean it's like mykids. I could cook them an amazing
flame and yon done perfectly, andthen can I have the McDonald's cheezy burger?
Please? Yes, Movies, music, and all the gossip in one
place. It's the celebrities scoop onStar one oh five point seven. Well

(23:49):
Kansas City star Travis Kelce has someserious love for Taylor Swift, and he
is talking about it in a waywe've not heard before. He's opening up
about his relationship with the Wall StreetJournal, detailing how he is personally growing
from their one on one time together. Kelsey says, I've never been a
man of words. Being around her, seeing how smart Taylor is has been

(24:12):
bleeping mind blowing. I'm learning everyday. He also talks about her being
hilarious, a total genius, andsays the two are on the same page
with their views, especially when itcomes to family. He tells Wall Street
Journal, everybody knows I'm a familyguy. Her team is her family.
Her family does a lot of stuffin terms of the tour, the marketing

(24:33):
being around, so I think shehas a lot of those values as well,
which is right up my alley. He then talks about how they officially
met, saying was actually someone inTaylor's circle that kind of played Cupid after
he publicly shot his shot on hispodcast, remember, and he said that
is how the two eventually got hookedup. It's really really sweet the things

(24:55):
that he has to say about her. Meanwhile, Taylor is getting some praise.
Did you see what happened at herRio show last night? She had
what they're calling a Barbie moment. Her Louis baiton heel broke, and she
actually kept her toes up for theentire performance because the other heel still worked.
There's video that has surfaced of herliterally pulling a Barbie foot as she

(25:17):
continues singing and dancing. Honestly, only only Taylor and women do will do
that will sacrifice that a guy isjust walking around like a pirate with a
gimplag at it. You can't,Tater, you can't chance the teetering Jennifer
Lawrence, the actress, had ahilarious reaction to quite the wardrobe malfunction during
last night's SAX Fifth Avenue holiday lightingceremony. She played host to the SAX

(25:41):
Fifth Avenue and Dior Carousel of Dreamsholiday window display when the belt popped and
broke right off her dress. Thankyou, Doring Sax especially honored being a
part through her families for us.Yeah. Can you hear her? She

(26:04):
goes, Oh, okay, everybody, my belt just popped and broke off.
Okay, thank you so much toSax and Dior. It's one of
those moments where any woman watching waslike, because this thing literally and it's
not that she's big by any means. I don't know if it's just a
bad belt, but the little likethe bar that hooks into the belt,
yeah, actually popped and you cansee it fly towards the camera as the

(26:27):
entire thing blows off her dress.Well, you know, I'm sure as
not a model, that wouldn't behorrifying to you in any way, shape
or four. Wow. And finally, Shakira has issued a statement following a
deal in her tax broad trial, reaching a last minute deal with prosecutors on

(26:48):
the first day of her trial,so she did answer yes, confirming she
knew about the six counts of failingto pay the Spanish government just about fifteen
point eight million dollars in taxes betweentwo thousand twelve in twenty fourteen. So
now she will pay a fine ofeight million, She'll receive a suspended three
year sentence. Then she will payanother fine of four hundred and seventy two

(27:10):
thousand dollars, but the singer's legalrecord will still show that she was guilty
of tax fraud, which could affectanother pending case that she has with tax
officials. Reacting to the outcomes, she issued a statement saying, I've made
the decision to finally resolve this matterwith the best interest of my kids at
heart, who don't want to seetheir mom's sacrifice her personal well being in
this fight. I need to movepast the stress and emotional toll of the

(27:34):
last several years and focus on thethings I love, my kids and all
the opportunities to come in my career. Well, celebrity or not. Like
all of us, death and taxisshmitdia. Well, I mean, I
guess I get it at the sametime, like what do you mean your
emotion to pay your taxes? Butwe all have to all of you are
celeb Scoop at West Michigan Star dotcom having a fine point seven is Mack
and Shmidtie and it is time tobattle. And yes, before Santa comes,

(27:57):

than other schmidty. And then youknow, is there marshmallows on top of
the ams. I feel like themarshmallows offer a nice insulation if it's thrown
at you. Good points good pointssix, one, six, four,

(29:07):
I am. What is your favoriteitem of food that will find itself on
the table? Probably the turkey? You go in the turkey, all right?
A lot of people, you know, go right to the sides.
Turkey's more of like the base layer. But I like it. You must
have good turkey. All right.Let's let's see here, Ashley. When
one hundred guys were asked what Thanksgivingdish would do the least damage if thrown

(29:29):
at you in a food fight, what do you think That top answer is
the dinner The dinner rolls. Yeah, those are gonna be soft and bounce
right off you, especially, youknow, as long as you didn't overcook
them and they're you know, notrock right. That could get dangerous.
But you know what, the dinnerrolls not even on there somehow, Ashley,
I'm I'm I'm perplexed to I knowit. That was a great guess.

(29:51):
I'm sorry. I have a greatThanksgiving though, thank you too.
Thanks, Hi Star. Who's thisLisa from today? I'm going from Holland.
All right, Lisa Ashley just gaveme a great guest that I can't
believe actually wasn't on the list oftop answers when one hundred guys were asked

(30:11):
what Thanksgiving dish would do the leastdamage if thrown at you in a food
fight. She said dinner rolls, which I thought was a great guest.
I didn't even think about those, but I was like, yeah, those
should be soft, but that wasn'teven on there. So you've got a
chance here. What do you thinkit is, Lisa? Oh my gosh,
dinner roles is gonna be my answer? What do you think? June?

(30:36):
I'm gonna say, o, men, I'm going to either sin potatoes
or turkey. Which one are yougonna I'm gotta tell you what one of
those is the right answer. Soyou gotta tell me which one you want
to go with. Oh, Iguess do you think I should go with
turkey? Turkey? Okay, somashed potatoes, mash potatoes. You've switched

(30:56):
it up. You're going mashed potatoes. Hi? Wow? What did is
your daughter? You said? June? Is that your daughter's name? Yeah,
and she said she said turkey though, right, she should we trust
you. Well, I'm I'm actuallyjust surprised that you were, like,
you know what, let me listento you and then completely ignore what you
have to say and go with mashedpotatoes. That was a wise move,
mom. Mashed potatoes is the rightanswer. Oh yeah, you know,

(31:21):
turkey actually was. Turkey was thenumber two answer, And all I kept
thinking was like, you know, nobody who needs a wishbone to the eye.
I feel like you could do somedamage with turkey, or if you
through the whole turkey, you'd bein a lot of trouble. You go.
It was mashed potatoes followed by turkeystuffing, then pie and cranberry sauce,
all of which are food crimes. But those are your top answers.

(31:42):

you feeling good on Staminal fine pointseven. We're doing it with music and
doing it with stories like this. This is a very intense video to listen
to. I warn you, butI thought it was important because there is
another side to the work that ourfirst responders and police officers do. And

(32:27):
the video was released yesterday. Thishappened a week ago Saturday. The MSP
sixth District shared it, saying onSaturday, November eleventh, Trooper Brogger from

Kent County Sheriff's Department. Wyoming PDCutlerville Fire and Kent County Central Dispatch for
your assistance. But here's the reallyimportant part of my feeling good today.
They go on to say, theholidays can be very lonely for people.
You are never alone dial nine eighteight. If you or someone you know

(33:49):
is struggling, someone is always thereto listen and help. So a huge
thank you, a huge shout outto everyone that was involved in this rescue.
But that reminder that these next coupleof months can be really really tough
for people. Check in on those, especially the ones you think seem okay,
because this can be some of thehardest time of the year, you
know. I think that was areally important message to share, Schmidty and

(34:12):
the video and that's that sound, that audio. It breaks your heart and
you're just thankful that their hero isthere to give somebody that second chance.
Absolutely all right, Schmitty. Ah, this on a much lighter note,
was just a follow up from somethingwe were all kind of following. But
yesterday it was announced Smitty the Turkeyhas been pardoned. Governor Gretchen Whimmer.

true, follow your own rules.I put in Tom to Kwamanon and I
cannot believe. I love Dolly Parton. She's a gem and a half turkey.

(34:59):
Tom ta kwamana does sound better thanDolly part Is that that I had
to have a Michigan side to whatI thought. Did she get to choose?
I don't feel like she get tochoose so much as people voted on
it, and people just love themselvessome Dolly Parton, Well guess what to
comment on? Thom's coming back atyou for this contest next year. Congratulations
