lot of people that I never inmy life imagined I'd see that sounds,
you know, Vegas to a t. Some of the best people watching in

Feels weird, It feels weird tobe back here after I feel like
I was just there a minute ago. It's an interesting place. Well,

and the jet lag for yous gotto be compounded, because I mean,
not only do you have the threehour time difference coming back, but you
also did have the fall back.We all got one extra hour of sleep,
but we all looked at our microwaveand had a panic attack sometimes this

had the loveliest couple from Zeeland thatI flew there and back with. But
we definitely did have two very differentexperiences. They were celebrating their twenty seventh
wedding anniversary. I was with abunch of moms that didn't have kids for
the first time in a decade.Different experiences, movies, music, and

point seven well Friday evening. Itwas the resting, final resting place for
Friends actor Matthew Perry laid to restin front of a very very small,
intimate group of people, only abouttwenty people that showed up to this.
It went down at Forest Lawn MemorialPark in la very famous cemetery that just

happens to be right up the roadfrom the Warner Brothers Studio a Lot,
which of course is where they filmedthe hit show Friends. A lot of
people thought that was very very lovely. His mom and dad were on hand,
as well as his stepdad, DatelightDateline host Keith Morrison. And yes
there is video showing Jennifer Aniston,Courtney Cox, and Lisa Kudro all arriving

together. No doubt that David Swimmerand Matt LeBlanc were there as well.
However, did not service Paul bearers. You know, I'm pretty sweet that
he was able to have something likethat with such a private and close group
of people there. And I'm surethough that the public is going to want
to pay their respect, and youknow, I have not read anything about
whether there's going to be anything publicdone this cemetery kind of allows visitors,

I've slept on party buses, I'veslept at my own wedding reception.

the weird or awkward place that youhave fallen asleep? Because I went to

the Michigan Purdue game on Saturday nightsnight game action there in an arbor,
and so people had a lot oftime to do some pregaming, right,
and I can only I can onlyassume that that's what was going on here.
But we showed up for the game, and we were there a few
minutes early, and in the roaddirectly in front of us was Dave and

Susan. And I know this becauseSusan called out Dave's name no less than
a hundred times in the two quartersthat we were blessed with their presence,
because from the moment we got there, Dave was dead asleep, sitting up
in a bleacher. This is nota chair with a back on it,

it's a bleacher, So he hasto balance himself like he is Buddha essentially
at the Big House while he's sleeping. And of course, you know,
there's all these pregame ceremonies going on. They're doing this crazy stuff with the
lights, they're blaring things, andall I hear is Susan going, Dave,
Dave, You're mything everything, Dave. I don't even like football,

Dave. And the other part thatwas unbelievable is that Dave did not wake
up when people tried to go pasthim in the rows. Everybody just sort
of had to act like this manwas an immovable object. As someone would
come down the row, inevitably,Susan would be going, Dave, you
gotta move, Dave. Nope,Dave was slightly overserved. I can only

assume because I never experienced a consciousDave at all during the game, Schmitty.
Until we get to the second quarter. Michigan scored like handily in the
first quarter. I want to say, they had scored twenty points or something
at that point, and randomly,I think it was a first down for
Purdue. It wasn't even like Michiganhad done anything. And all of a

sudden, you just see it,guy go it's stand up and go.
Oh all right, all right,she goes, she goes. I cannot
believe you right now, like Susan'slivid that he just woke up from this
slumber. They left it halftime.Never saw Dave and Susan again. If

say it was pretty impressive seeing thenumber of people that just had to go

so you've fallen asleep on the partyof buses, You've done all that stuff?

celebrating their twenty seventh wedding anniversary inVegas over the weekend I flew there sitting

next to them. I flew backsitting next to them. That's crazy.
And she like leaned over to melast night. She goes, hey,
sweetie, if you feel like fallingasleep and you you lean over this,
I'm not going to judge you.I got plenty of room. And I
went, actually, ma'am, Iprobably will do that because I do not
feel bad about sleeping anywhere. Thanks, thanks for the offer. You've got

Mama Tua on her first trip toVegas. Oh, you take it easy,

did with you guys last week forfeeling good about Operation Josh's Lights. This
was all done by a company therein Kalamazoo County called Decorate with Lights and
their owner, Chuck Barnes, whowas inspired by a former member of the
US Marine Corps Joshua Hoffman, whowas critically injured in his service and ultimately

wound up passing away because because ofthose injuries. And one of the things
that he absolutely loved when he camehome was Christmas lights. And Shuck and
his company there, inspired by Joshu, for the last several years, they've
been picking a veteran to decorate theirhome with Christmas lights for free in Josh's
memory. Well, the winner waschosen on Tuesday, and happy to say
that a Korean War veteran who's inhis nineties named Bill Adelberger has his lights

all over his house, all decorated, all for free, and all in
Josh's memory. Absolutely beautiful, beautifulshow of support for the veteran community and
also as a tribute to Joshua lovedthose Christmas lights so much. But this
is actually Bill and Schuck talking toFox seventeen about the lights going up,
and Shuck just talking about how hewishes that this was not just a once

a year kind of thing. Well, they did all the light in and
the garage in the house, andit's just a such a little, you
know, such a little thing forto do that brings joy to a lot
of people. I really would,you know, I wish the community would
do more for the veterans, youknow, and not just at the holiday

season, but especially at the holidayseason. Great to see amazing community partners
stepping up and helping veterans out.And it's things like that that inspires others
to do things throughout the year too. Well. It was a big and
much needed win for our Michigan StateSpartans over the weekend, beating Nebraska twenty
to seventeen on Saturday. But here'swhat I thought was so cool. This

is Harlan Barnett's official first win withMichigan State, and I thought the end
of game call was just so sweet. Gard You're we'll be taking you right

he just has the biggest smile onhis face as he's picking up his girls,

Remember I had that scoop story afew weeks ago where some picture surfaced
from her baby shower where people thoughtthat that might be the name. People
very excited about this, including therest of the family. I thought this
was very interesting though. Apparently overthe weekend it was reported that the rise
of pregnancies in women over forty havereally exploded, and a lot of women

are looking at Courtney Kardashian as aprime example of being able to wait until
later in life to have kids,and that's a big reason she's being praised
this morning. You know, congratulationsto them. Rocky Kardashian Barker. I
think it's just Rocky Barker. Idon't know if there's a Kardashian link to
it. It's an interesting one,for sure. I'm sure also that there'll

be a billionaire before they turn fiveyears old. Probably, Yeah, right,
hopefully, But tough, tough breakfor that kid. Yeah. Michael
J. Fox says he almost entirelylost his hand thanks to an infection,
so his health problem have been nosecret. He's very open about this,
but he's in a new interview withTown and Country opening up about just how

serious of those health struggles have becomein recent years, revealing he practically had
to have part of his body surgicallyremoved. He said his hand got infected
and then he almost lost it.Calling it a tsunami of misfortune. He's
been discussing lots of injuries he sustainedas of late, including breaking two of
his arms, breaking his shoulder,breaking his orbitable orbital cheekbone, as well

as one of his hands, whichhe said is how that infection crept in
and became a much more serious diagnosis. Now. His most recent serious surgery
was back in twenty eighteen to havea spinal tumor removed. He says still

results of Parkinson's or is this hisbody sort of turning on him. I
think it's a mix. I thinkit is a mix. Yeah. Finally,
everybody will have their eyes peeled thenext couple days to figure out what
could go down. At the Universityof Michigan Now, coach Jim Harbad declined
to address anything about a recent visitfrom the Big Ten when he was talking
post game after his team's forty oneto thirteen win on Saturday, saying he's

not allowed to talk about it,he doesn't want to talk about anything,
and simply thanked president of the universityfor continuing to support him. But this
is interesting. According to ESPN,a very likely scenario will be some kind
of very serious suspension for coach Harbaugh. In the upcoming days, they're going
to find out exactly how that BigTen will punish him, but they have

it from inside sources that that isgoing to be just one of the things
the team faces as a massive viewof m fan. I've been following this
up and down with my blood pressureover the last couple of weeks, and
it looks like anything from possibly atwo game suspension or an indefinite suspension,

put an injunction on that through thecourt to keep him on the sidelines.

and we were going to go toa comedy show last night. I'm still
getting my times right. So Saturdaynight, except we were there until like
almost like twenty three hours ago.I was still in a club that is

We like get a lot of goodsleep. You know. This is
the first time we were talking aboutit, the first time we had all
done something without our kids or ourspouses in a decade, like this was

always wanted to see them, andwe were like, yeah, let's do

started at ten thirty pm Saturday night, so we got like coffee and we

took naps. We were ready forit, but as responsible Michigan moms,

there the club's just opening and we'relike yeah. So we're sitting there having

have been informed that the Chainsmokers takethe stage at one thirty am, which,
if you're doing the math in yourhead, is four thirty am our

So when they got out, I'mlooking around. I'm like, oh,

dang, it's really filled up inhere. And then they come on the
stage and it is unbelievable, Likewe're we're shaking their hands, they're hopping
down and like interacting with us.We're like, I'm on the stage pretty
much. The security guards are makingsure like we're all good, and nobody's
pushing us too hard because we're likefive Michigan moms in their late thirties getting

hey, can we get the middleaged ladies maybe out up the road here?
