had a collective gasp late Saturday nightwith the passing of Matthew Perry, Yes,
the friend Star was apparently discovered unresponsivein a hot tub by his assistant.
Sources say the death appears to bethe result of drowning. There were
no illicit drugs found on the scene. There were some prescription drugs found in

the house. Now the coroner's officewill perform taxicology testing in addition to the
autopsy. As of this morning,we do not have an official cause of
death. Family members did rush tothe home, including Matthew's stepdad. Anybody
else know what? Dateline's Keith MorrisonNo, definitely did not know. They
had a super close relationship. Heis reportedly just so devastated by this,

and we are seeing a lot ofceleb reaction and tribute, including Lisa Kudrou
who thinks the drowning may have hadsomething to do with prescribed medication that maybe
just didn't mix well with warm water. And according to sources, she's actually
already in talks to adopt his dog. This is Matthew in a recent interview

one because they actually went dressed astwo characters from Quentin Tarantino's Killed Bill movies,

that is still kind of an ongoingthing. Interesting choice there, but they

night. I thought this one wasfunny gate night. That's more of a
rural type of thing because people goaround unlocking livestock gates. I also think
it's very dangerous, Like if you'retrying to go to work the next morning

and you've got cows everywhere, FoxNight, corn Night, Beggars Night.
Interesting. Yeah, a lot ofpeople actually will go around and ask for
treats tonight instead of tomorrow and callit Beggar's night. I could get on
with you know, everybody's got theircandy already, to be honest, if
somebody's lights on and they came andthey knocked on the door, if it's
my house and I opened the door, I'm probably gonna figure out a way

to give them candy because I won'tknow what to do otherwise. Right,
it'll be such an awkward scene.But that'd being said. I wanted to
ask about Mischief Night if you will, and you obviously then never participated.
Were you ever on the receiving endof it with your brothers or any of
that kind of stuff. I mean, we got tepeede, we got forked,
I think is what it's called theworst, the worst one ever.

People egged our car and that actuallytook the paint off well, and that
is the most extreme one that Idid, And I felt bad of you
you did that. I not onlyegged someone, I egged my vice principal's
house. He was in the livedin the subdivision that was directly across the
street from my house, and Ihad several buddies that lived nearby, and
we egged his house. And thenthe next day at school, a girl

who also lived near us either didit too, and we didn't know about
it, or what I actually thinkhappened is she it kind of got out
and then she tried to take creditfor it, and then she got in
trouble for it. Here's you,and maybe this is just me. I
feel like we're all hanging by athread. Like there's a lot going on

in our lives. There's stressors,there's things. Last the tipping point to
me would be somebody's egg flying atmy front door. I won't lie to
you, it would probably make mebreak down in tears. I can't handle
it. I did feel bad aboutthat one, but I gotta be honest.
And most of the pranks that Ipulled as a high schooler with these
things, they were amongst friends andit was a blast. We did the

forking with my one good friend onetime, where you stick about five hundred
plastic forks in their yard and thenyou call them at two o'clock in the
morning and just jumped fork into thephone. And then the ones that I
had on both ends is I tbeat a few houses and I thought that
was a blast to be out theredoing it. You just feel that rush
of exhilaration that you're doing something wrong. But I've also been on the cleaning

end and had it rained. Notonly had it rained, because there is
okay, so two different years,once when my when I did it and
had to clean up after one ofthe houses that we actually did because we
got busted. Yeah, good,I'm sorry. I don't care if you
know where the toilet paper comes from. A wet, brown clump of toilet
paper makes you feel terrible all theway through your body. So this is

what I was going to talk about. Have you ever smashed pumpkins? No,
I don't know anyone who would everdo that as a prank. That
was honestly the huge thing. Thatwas a huge thing in my neighborhood.
And it was so sad because youwould see these kids wake up for school
the next morning, yeah, andsee the pumpkins they had carved smashed like
in their driveway or in the street. And I just was like, I'm
not done with this. I'm notdone with this. Like even as a

kid, I'm like, that's sosad. I never heard of anyone going
and smashing pumpkins. Yeah, wetook our pumpkins in every single October thirtieth.
It would they would come inside thegarage until Halloween. The next day
bes people would go around smashing them. I'd be calling the cops on somebody
smashing pup. Yeah, it's justnot It's not my thing. I'm not
really rankster to begin with. Ijust I don't love it. I'm like,

man, can't we stand side justwatch Halloween movies. One year that
I will never forget, though,is when we had you know, speaking
of this cold, cold night thatwe have right now, It was when
my little brother was about seven yearsold, so I would have been about
fourteen. We had people come andtepee the living daylights out of our house,
and it rained, and that rainturned into frozen into like freezing rain

as it came down schmiddy. Youknow those mornings where you wake up and
every tree looks like a crystal andit looks absolutely gorgeous and amazing. It
was that, but frozen solid streamsof toilet paper throughout trees. A little
prefer that. My little brother justgoes it's so beautiful. Oh Like,
was it easier though? I feellike if it wasn't the moist, like

clumpy, fall apart in your handskind of stuff, I'd take toilet paper
icicles over regular. By the timewe got there in the morning, it
was just another wet round of toiletpaper going clean up with sometime. Does
that get a good feeling? Let'sstart this week out with some positivity,
and this is a beautiful, beautifulway to remember somebody who did something for

all of us. And that personwas former US Marine Corps Joshua Hoffman.
He enlisted and he served in theMarine Corps and actually went to Fellujah,
Iraq, and was critically wounded there. It resulted in paralysis. He became
a quadric collegiate, and it obviouslyended his military career and he came back
home well. In twenty eighteen,a local business in Kalamazoo called Decorate with

Lights, who of course does decorationsfor holiday lights. I was actually contacted
by Josh's caregiver about decorating their homefor the holidays. Owner of Decorate for
Lights Lights, Chuck Barnes, metJosh and said when he entered the home,
he could tell by all the picturesthat he had a full and active
life prior to his service in themilitary. And when he started to talk

to Josh about the Christmas lights,he said, while Josh lit up brighter
than any of the lights they'd beinstalling, got so much joy from him
that it was obvious that every timehe installed the lights that that was bringing
him just massive amounts of joy.Well. Sadly, back in twenty twenty
one, at the age of thirtynine, Corporal Joshua Hoffman passed away.
So that's when they decided, togetherwith Josh's mom, that they were going

to offer up Christmas lights to adeserving veteran every holiday season in Josh's name.
This is really cool. They areactually looking right now for this year's
veteran. But they've been doing this. This will be the third year now
and by tomorrow, by the endof the day tomorrow, all of their
submissions will be in. They're goingto choose a deserving veteran and then they're

going to go and decorate those lightsin Josh's honor coming up this upcoming Saturday.
But what a cool tribute to anAmerican hero. SCHWDDI. Absolutely the
low community is rallying around a familythat was given such an awful, awful
moment. Thursday morning, we hadthe report that there was a fire in

a house in Lowell broke out andunfortunately it led to the death of a
four year old boy, put fourmembers in the hospital. Well, on
Saturday, the Lowell Area Fire Departmentheld its annual Trunk or Treat fire prevention
open house. This happens every singleyear and the community was of course out
in full force. But it wasn'tjust the candy that the kids were there

for. The area's fire department wasactually collecting monetary donations and items that the
family needed since they lost everything,men's and women's clothing, things for the
kids. It was all to goto the family and show them their support.
Keith Gillespie is one of those thatlive in Lowell and he tells what
TV this showing of support doesn't shockhim one bit. He law is a

quite support of when things like thishappened. I think the people are when
they see a need they rise toit. I mean if it's a fire,
if it's an accident, if it'sanything. Yeah. Shannon Witherall is
the chief at the Lowell Area FireDepartment, and he said, the family
knows about this and are just absolutelyoverwhelmed with the outpouring of support. If

you feel like you can give,there is a list of items that the
family needs. I can direct youto the Lowell Area Fire Department's Facebook page
where they had that all listed.What a beautiful way of seeing and need
right off the bat and immediately doingsomething about it, and a great way

the weekend about how she feels withthe war between Israel and Palestine, and
in one point she does say whathappened in Israel is an act of terror,
but that cannot justify the innocent liveslost in bombing a civilian population in

possibility of evacuation, and not eventhe basic human right to cross a border
to seek refuge. She goes onto say that she's donated to medical relief
efforts and she's spotlighting organizations like Doctorswithout Border, saying this is the time
to give these people the help thatthey need because what is happening right now
is not okay. Naturally, whenyou take a side in this thing,

a lot of people are either goingto agree or strongly disagree. Well,
and Angelina Joe Lee, as youknow, whatever you care about her as
an actress or as a celebrity,she has proven herself to be quite a
formidable advocate for international humanity the world. And that's what a lot of people

and might be worth listening to morethan maybe your average celebrity. Finally,

Kim Kardashian has had a very interestingresponse to her Halloween decor. The reality
star took her Instagram following on atour Friday to show that she went all
out. She decked her entire Calabasismansion and really goulish decor. But to
some it was pretty tasteless, especiallygiven what's happening in the world today,

some users writing this is so appallinglysenseless, not to mention tasteless given the
actual horrors occurring, such a wasteof money that could go to so many
things. Read the room. Butin what's probably the creepiest part of this

felt my ring finger hit something likethe nail on my ring finger, and

were like there wasn't really sound oranything. I was just like, oh,
I'm sure we were supposed to,you know. So then we get
done with this whole thing and we'regetting back in our limo and I notice
my nail is like ragged, andI realize I definitely put my hand up
