Speaker 1 (00:00):
Movies, music, and all the gossip in one place. It's
the celebrities gup on Star one oh five point seven.
I think I did what everybody did on Saturday when
we saw the news that legendary Hollywood actress Diane Keaton
had passed away. Jaw just hits the floor. The famous actress, director,
(00:20):
and producer passing at the age of seventy nine. Her
cause of death is still unclear. The LAFD said they
responded to Diane's home at eight eight am Saturday morning,
and then an ambulance transported an individual to a local hospital.
This is part of that nine one one CALLA can
now confirm that person down was Diane. Her movie credits
(00:43):
I mean massive. Something's got to give. First Wives Club,
Father of the Bride, Annie Hall. She got her start
in The Godfather, She'd won Oscars. She leaves behind a
daughter and a son. But it's very very unclear exactly
what was happening with Diane. One of her very very
long time friends, that Carol bay Fager, said to People
(01:04):
magazine that she had seen the Oscar winning actress just
about two or three weeks ago and was very surprised
by the change in her appearance, Sager says she was very,
very very thin. She had lost so much weight. And
if you didn't know, Keaton had been spending most of
her time in Palm Springs because her house was one
(01:24):
of those destroyed in the Palisades fire. Apparently, close friends
say following that disaster, her health just really took a downturn,
but they had no idea just how badly she had
gotten Again, no official cause of death, but seventy nine
years old and Diane Keaton has left us. Ooh, whether
you were Team Lauren or Team Kristen, we can all agree.
Speaker 2 (01:44):
We are so stoked they are back.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
The Laguna Beach Originals are reuniting, ending one of reality
TV's longest running feuds. The former MTV rivals, shocking fans
over the weekend when Kristen posted a photo with'se on
Instagram and says the Peace Summit is here. Everyone can
put away their Team Lauren and Team Kristen shirts. Now
(02:07):
this drama is long gone, so Kristin had to use
the fact that there's going to be some kind of
giant reunion podcast. Stephen Talon like all of the stars
are going to be a part of this. The OG
cast has filmed a Laguna Beach reunion. We can now
confirm that will be going on Roku.
Speaker 2 (02:26):
So this is going to be massive.
Speaker 1 (02:28):
But I just really really want to listen to Hillary
duff let the rain fall down.
Speaker 2 (02:34):
So go ahead and listen to that for me.
Speaker 1 (02:35):
And finally, you may have missed it because the game
went so so late on Friday night. But unfortunately, our
Tiger's season has come to an end, losing in.
Speaker 2 (02:44):
A fifteen inning game.
Speaker 1 (02:46):
Three to two against Seattle and longtime Tigers radio announcer
Dan Dickerson, who always wears his emotions on his sleeve.
Speaker 2 (02:55):
He is fantastic.
Speaker 1 (02:57):
I know him very very well from one of my
other shows where we interview him constantly made the radio
mistake of forgetting your mic.
Speaker 2 (03:04):
Maybe hot, I don't have to do a game.
Speaker 1 (03:08):
This game recap. Oh, I'm sorry three two yeah, oops yeah,
had a little oopsy on the air.
Speaker 2 (03:17):
There.
Speaker 1 (03:17):
Here's the deal, Dan apologizing on Saturday saying listen, I
am a consummate professional, I know better, and I just
want to clear the air and say this is not
anything to do about the game recap. What was said
was said in a moment of frustration. It's just how
I felt about doing it in a moment after a
five hour, fifteen inning, season ending loss. Very sorry fans
(03:40):
had to hear that my Bucheese again. Like I said,
I love Dan. I was kind of hilarious. But you
know we always say radio rule number one. Anytime you
go into a studio, pretend the microphone is on. Oh,
if you were Slipscoop at West Michigan Star dot com
