both the instrumental and vocal elements were lifted from this
other person's copyrighted work. A rep for Lizzo says we're
surprise they filed this lawsuit. To be clear, the song
has never been commercially release or monetized. Therefore, no decision
has been made at this time regarding any future commercial

release of the song. Lawsuit goes on to claim the
parties tried to reach a deal to sample the work
but never did, and the trust is suing Lizzo for
copyright infringement, saying they knowingly did this. They want damages
and an injunction blocking the exploitation of its song. I've
been doing like the radio thing for a while, and
I actually do not have very much familiarity with how

something like this would work, Like if you put something
out on TikTok or Instagram but it's not commercially produced
and you're not making money off of it. I'll be
very interested on how this gets ruled. Another big night
