Well, good morning guys. It's Schmidty. And you know we
see our bell ringers throughout West Michigan, all in honor
of raising money for the Salvation Army at the holidays.
I've been a bell ringer myself. I find it to
be so rewarding, but I can't beat this. A three
year old got named Pongo.

Speaker 2 (00:18):

Speaker 1 (00:19):
Holidays a lot brighter for families in southern Colorado because
Pongo is a certified bell ringer. He's actually been ringing
bells for the Salvation Army since twenty twenty three. It
stores all around Colorado City. This is Nan Hasse, Pongo's owner,
talking to NBC.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
He was only like eight months old and so that
was his first job. Sometimes when I ring the bells,
he gets jealous. He's a good bell ringer, he's better
than I am.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
Oh, and Pongo really gets him to give doing this
on his second year, third year, excuse me now. Pongo
takes the job very seriously, ringing for a cause very
very important. The Salvation Army provides crucial services to their community,
and Pongo is making sure everyone that has ever given

comes back for not just the cute pets, but the
good cause.

Well we always do, but definitely they goat ring the bell.
It definitely closed the deal.

Oh my gosh, he is so cute. He's so adorable.
