Feelin Good - Adoption Day in Court

Well, I just love this, and I know it comes
up every year around the holidays, which makes it even sweeter.
It was a very busy day the other day in
the seventeenth Circuit Court in downtown Grand Rapids. Why is
that because multiple families were finally able to legally adopt
their children. The Weiring Gus are one of those. A

(00:20):
family of four now officially a family of five, with
Violet as their newest addition. Miriam says it has meant
the world to the family to officially make it official,
telling Fox seventeen it was really God's plan.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
It means the world to us to have it the
official It's a wonderful blessing to add children to our
family like this, and we couldn't be more thankful.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
I love the five.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
Violet is sweet and fun and sassy. She's got a
lot of spunk. She keeps up with her big brother.
Adoption was always on our hearts that maybe that was
something we wanted to do someday. God kind of took
the reins from there. We didn't have a plan for
the rest of it, but he did.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
Yeah. Well, you know they love this because the couple
comes from very large families Miriam, for instance, has nine
other siblings and they are loving to see their own
family grow while their extended family is proudly at their side.
Plus you know, with three other boys or other boys,
she's pretty thankful for the girl. It's a really great
