Speaker 1 (00:00):
Oh, and those feel good feelings are what we were
all about, especially on a Tuesday. It's star one of
five point seven. I'm Schmidty and you know, I adore music,
and I think those that teach music are some of
the greatest among us. It's such an important art form.
And for Kent City High School's band director, Jonathan Schnicky,
he's pretty proud of his tenured career in West Michigan
as a teacher, but maybe a bit prouder of the

fact that he has continued the tradition. So he sat
down with thirteen nine Yer Side and talked about his
very unique situation. His Not only is Jonathan a band
director himself, but his kids are also very involved in
the music world. For instance, his daughter Lauren the band

director at Byron Center High School, Isaac's fiance the co
director at Sparta High School. And in fact, the legacy
doesn't just end with those four, it continues with Jonathan's son.
This year's Kent City Marching Band is led by none
other than Jonathan's son, Aaron. He is a senior and
serves as one of the band's drum majors. They're just

so proud.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
We have a very unique situation. I've raised some kids
that are pretty outstanding.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
Beyond outstanding, I mean the fact that your percentages of
a kid learning music from someone in this family is
pretty high. And like I said, I love those that
teach music. Family Good coming up again this morning at
nine twenty. You can check it out at West Michigan

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
