five point seven. Good morning, It's schmidty and I said
this Sun literally following in his dance footsteps, and he
has been every afternoon for eight years. Every day at
one o'clock, David and Eugene Lyons find themselves on the
track at the YMCA in downtown Grand Rapids. They average

about three miles a day and they never skip. David
tells thirteen on your Side, we walk daily, even on Sundays,
and over four thousand steps later, it has been an
unbelievable moment of bonding. Both dad and son agree this
is something we've always needed to do, and it's not

about the distance, it's not about the time. It's making
sure neither one ever walks alone. David says his mom
passed eight years ago and that's when him and Dad
started walking. It's been away for us to re engage
again with life. And listen to how happy Dad is
about that.

You'll see a smile on his face. This setting has
brought him joy.

I'm ninety two years old and I average three miles
a day. I wouldn't be happy just setting and doing
a duction.

I gotta be out I'm never going to get these
years back because it gave us this opportunity to bond.

We're buddies.
