But we are still on that drive to ford Field
for our high school football teams still alive in the playoffs.
But for one quarterback in Northfield, Minnesota, getting back on
the team meant everything. At Carlton High School, quarterback Jack
Curtis had his senior season end a little differently after
fighting late stage two hodgekin lymphoma, but he didn't want

that to stop him. As he tells CBS, it was
so important to get out there playing with the boys.
On the final game of his senior year. He even
played through a broken throwing hand. He chose his chemo
treatments on Mondays so that he would be well enough
to play on Saturdays, and that final game, just a

couple weekends ago, was nothing short of resilience and hope
for this community.

Here reason I came back fighting through cancer whatnot. It
wasn't because it was chasing wins or chasing x y
Z is because twenty of my best friends we're going
to graduate and I wasn't deal to play with them.
Is up killing man, I've ever known.

Curts's mom, you know, Like I'm so proud, so that's yes.
