How Did Your Kid Make Christmas Memorable?

Good morning, it's Smitty. Speaking of Christmas. Is there something
your kids have done to I don't want to use
the word ruin. We're going to say, make it a
bit more memorable this season, because I've got to tell you,
I'm not usually really good about sending out Christmas cards,
but I was excited because this year we planned it out.

(00:21):
I'm like, we're going to take a cute picture. We've got,
you know, our list of people. I found a great
discount at one of the online sites, so it's not
going to cost an arm and a leg to send
them out.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
This is great.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
I'm usually like every other year, maybe every other three
years kind of girl where I remember to do Christmas cards.
So I got the kids together, we figured out the
really cute idea.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
We're going to do.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
Matching jams, you know, cliche but cute.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
And then I got home. This is actually Friday nights.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
This was after radiothon last week because I was away
from the house for pretty much two straight days. Right
came in at four am, didn't get home until like
eight with our broadcast, and that's why I'm gonna say
I would have caught this, And I'm not saying it's
on my hubby, but I'm just saying I would have
caught this.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
My daughter decided to give herself bangs, and I know
it's a milestone.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
It's a milestone for all of us ladies, at least
once in our life. The intrusive thoughts hit and you're
looking at a pair of scissors in the junk drawer, going,
you know what, I like Taylor Swift's bangs. I bet
I could pull off bangs and then you chop them
and they're there. It's not good, no, I mean, I've
had a few people tell me that micro bangs are
very on trend right now. So she's very fashionable. But

(01:36):
when our Christmas cards go out, I think the best
way to describe it is a backwards mullet. You know.
So the back of her hair is really good because
I literally just took her to get a haircut like
two weeks ago, and at some point Thursday or Friday
last week, she got ahold of those scissors and decided
to be quite the fashionista.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
So the hair in the back looks great.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
Up front, I can only describe it as half peak
half centimeter fringe. So maybe we'll just wear hats for
the Christmas cards. Maybe hats is what it is.
