Speaker 1 (00:00):
We're making it all spooky this Friday in honor of Halloween.
My name is Schmitty. We've got the playlist going on Facebook.
If there is an absolute favorite Halloween song of yours,
I want to know it. I want to play it.
It's all you today. It's going to be so much fun.
And it is a Friday, which means we've got to
get to a little spooky drama Star one point seven.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
Time doesn't spill in Tay, time spill the tea Sweetheart.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
So every Friday we go down with the drama, and
this time it is very Halloween related, and I kind
of feel like it's been hard. A lot of people
have talked about this with Halloween being on a Friday
this year, so I got an email. Is it time
that Halloween always happens on a Friday? Hey, Smitty, My
good friend Beth is always the host for our big

(00:44):
Halloween party with all the kids in the neighborhood. We're
obviously so excited it's on a Friday this year, but
she mentioned it works so perfectly. We should do it
like this every year. She asked, what's stopping us from
just doing trick or treating in our little group the
same day every year. I feel that totally takes the
fun out of seeing everyone out, and I actually enjoy
doing it on the day. Am I the buzzkill? Would

(01:06):
you change your plans to make sure Halloween is on
a Friday every single year? Six one six, four five
eight one oh five seven. I guess a little bit
of drama here only because you're not sure. I mean
it is really cool. Also, depending on the community you're in,
if they're not like letting people know it's trick or
treating that night, how many houses are your kids possibly

(01:26):
going to be able to hit? I mean, we are
in it for the king sized bars as parents too.
Four or five A one oh five seven? Moving Halloween
to eight Friday? What's up April?

Speaker 2 (01:36):
No? I like that it's on a weekday. The kids
have a half day for pool, they get to get
dressed up. Yeah, it's a bit of a late night,
but I mean it's fun and it breaks up the
monotony of a regular school week. Keep it one it is.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
I'll tell you it is definitely a sign of strength
that you go out trick or treating on like a
Wednesday night and then you power yourself up for a
Thursday to go back to school after all that running,
all that face makeup, all that chocolate. I agree, kids sitting.
I got to learn that lesson four five eight, one
oh five seven. Halloween on a Friday, No, it has.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
To stay on the day that it's fun and kids
have to experience when it's on a school night and
it's like raining or whatever, and you can wear jeans
under your clothing and you're rushing from house to house
and you're exhausted the next morning, but also trying to
have a sugar rush. Nah, it has to be that's sorry,
burst up, what it is? That's pollen.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
I'll agree. See, you have to have it on that
day and you have to have the full experience. It's
the same with Halloween in Michigan. You have not lived
here long enough if you have not yet tried to
put your princess costume over a snowsuit. It's a rite
of passage. I'm sorry, all right, we're going to do
it again next Friday. You can message me your drama
at West Michigan Star or dn me on Social atimate.
