But this is the message we got. Every year I
host a New Year's Eve party in my small apartment.
This year we have about thirty people coming. Gosh, I
wonder what small apartment actually means. I had to limit
the guest list for space. I invited my sister and
her boyfriend, but then, without asking, she invited an additional

guy to the party without asking me. Yesterday she asked
if that was cool after already inviting this person, and
I said no, and she got mad and said it
would be awkward. Should I just let the extra guy come?
Or should I hold firm and keep the party to
what it is. I gotta be honest with you. That
is a party foul, almost to the point where I

would reconsider even inviting my own sister, Like, how are
you going to invite an extra person to my already
limited small party without even asking me. So many things
could have made this better. You could have asked your
sister first if it was okay, because that would have
eliminated the awkwardness altogether. Or you could have just used
your brain and thought, you know what, this is not
