Speaker 1 (00:00):
Is Star one O five point seven West, Michigan's Christmas station.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Good morning at Schmidty.

Speaker 1 (00:05):
Let's talk hiding the Christmas gifts, right, mom, Dad, whenever
you got for your kids or significant others, that's a
big one. I had the most hilarious moment last night
where I got home. I was working downtown for third Thursdays.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
Last night. I get home. There's some packages on our porch.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
Tis the season, and apparently my husband got me a
new makeup case.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
How do I know because it wasn't in a box.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
I walked in and I was like, is this for me?
And like his face just fell and he's like, come
on man, they didn't even put it in a box.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
I was like, well, merry early Christmas. I love it,
thank you so much.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
But I was talking with my coworker Mic the other
day and he is freaking out because he has bought
his wife a gift she very much wants and I'm
not sure if she'd be listening, so I'm not gonna
out it, but something that she very very much wants
and he hit it and he can't find it. He's like, listen,

(01:06):
she's a snooper. She's I was so nervous. I wanted
this to be a surprise because I put a lot
of thought into this, and now I can't remember where
I put it. Think of the Clark Griswold scene from
Christmas Vacation when he's up in the attic trying to
hide gifts, and all of a sudden he pulls out
that pink present and it says Happy Mother's Day. Because
he's completely forgotten, there's like seventeen dusty gifts in his attic.

(01:28):
Have you ever lost a Christmas gift? Or do you
have snoopers in your house? Do you have some really
good hiding spots? Hit me up six one six, four
five eight, one oh five seven, or you can leave
a talk back on our iHeartRadio app talking about whether
you've ever misplaced a Christmas gift. We've got a coworker
on the hunt because he bought his wife this amazing
present and hit it so she wouldn't snoop and find it,

(01:50):
and now cannot remember where he put that fifth gift.
Six one, six, four, five eight, one oh five seven.
Good morning, who says, sorry, this is Laurie. Where are
you calling from?

Speaker 3 (02:01):
I'm calling from Grand Rapids.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
Have you ever.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
Misplaced a Christmas gift.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
My mother had a dog that had to wear diapers
and we called them the man rap. So she made
these little fabric things to go on them. And one
time she lost a hundred dollars bill and it was
going to go in a Christmas card and it was
right between the diaper and the man rap.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
Oh that's amazing.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
Oh yeah, oh, Laurie, you hear that day. But I
mean still is kind of a unique.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
This is very unique experience.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
Laurie.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
Thank you.
