Staff is preparing to welcome more than one hundred and

fifty thousand passengers between now and December third for the
Thanksgiving holiday, and airport spokesperson tells Wood expecting to see
a five percent increase over last year's record breaking number
of holiday passengers. They do believe the busiest travel days
will be today through December first. Now, if you plan

to fly, they are recommending you arrive at the airport
at least two hours before your flight's departure time. Also,
make sure to check your airline's website or mobile app
to stay up to date on any flight changes or delays.
So far and checking the Ford Airport this morning, most
everything looks to be on time. This was a very

scary situation at the Santa Parade over the weekend, and
now charges are pending against a group of teens who
assaulted a couple during an attempted robbery. After the Santa
Parade and tree lighting on Saturday, a group of teens
aged fourteen to nineteen assaulted and attempted to rob this couple.
One of those arrested a nineteen year old carrying a

concealed handgun with an extended magazine. He's now facing charges
for carrying a concealed weapon as well as an outstanding warrant.
In addition to the assault charges. The gun had been stolen,
according to police Chief Eric Winstrom. The GRPD, however, maintained
that a large presence downtown for the holiday event, officers
were able to quickly detain the teens and everyone was

kept safe. Now, luckily this shouldn't affect your holiday packaging,
but it could be a different story in the new year.
The US Postal Service has outlined its plans for new
competitive prices on shipping services. The USPS is proposing price
increases for Priority Mail, Priority Mail Express, USPS Ground Advantage,

and Parcels select services. This is hopefully going to generate
much needed revenue for the Postal Service. This would increase
things by more than six percent on average. It also
looks to increase other services like premium forwarding service and
package interception. This comes from the Board of Governors who
have been working on how to make the USPS more profitable.

If this has approved, the new prices would take effect
starting January eighteenth of next year. Taking a look at
your sports. Unfortunately, for the Red Wings a loss last
night to the New Jersey Devils four to three. This
was a matchup of two of the top four teams
