Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's Star one oh five point seven with feel good
variety of the eighties till now. That is kind of
the mantra for a midweek, like we're gonna make it
tomorrow's Thursday. Thursday is pretty much a Friday and then bam,
we're into Halloween week. On my friends, that's the optimism
I'm bringing. Good morning, it is Schmidty. I want to
talk about Friday. We've been doing a lot of Halloween
chatting this week. But I have a kind of a

(00:21):
project that I don't think I'm gonna do very well
at unless you've got solid advice for me, the best
Halloween costume you've ever pulled off. So in the past,
I've actually kind of done like group costumes with my kids.
They love it, and this year I'm trying to take
both of their costumes and meld it as one because
they're going as two entirely different things. My seven year

(00:42):
old son is going as iron Man, pretty sweet, his
helmet is epic, and then my four year old daughter's
going as a witch cackle and all. So I was
kind of like Google image searching if like Scarlet Johansson,
who played Black Widow in the Marvel series ever had
blonde hair because I really don't want to have to
buy a wing or anything. And she did. There's like

(01:03):
two movies where she actually had longer blonde just like
curled underhair, which would be super easy to do. And
then I'm just gonna put a witch hat on, so
it I was like a black widow witch. And I'm like,
not nearly as good as the year I went as
the Stay Pop marshmallow Man and my kids went as Ghostbusters.
I think that is my absolute peak. I will never

(01:24):
top that again. Six one, six, four five eight, one
oh five to seven your peak costume. I want to
know the year what you went as was at homemade
store bought. I don't care. Like I said, I'm not pinteresting,
not gonna judge, you know if you didn't literally sew
your costume together. But I am very impressed for people
that do. What was your absolutely epic costume? Four five, eight,

(01:48):
one oh five seven We got here, Ryan is listening
in grend Rapids. Best year for you, man. I was
dressed up as Edward scissor Hands. I made the hands
on a cardboard and I spray painted them and then
I covered a black a pair of coveralls with electrical
tape and put on a crazy wig. It looked really good.
What The only thing that could have made that better?

(02:09):
I love Edward Scissorhands is if you had brought like
your own bush, And by that I mean you know
when he did like all the really crazy like landscaping
halfway through that movie. It would have been a very
like niche thing. But the people that get it get it,
and you would have found like the good friends at
your Halloween party? Four eight, one oh five seven? Can

(02:31):
you beat Edward scissor Hands the best costume you've ever had? Hey, Melissa,
My best Hallivian costume was the time I dressed up
as a Roman goddess. I wore a white dress and
a gold lead crown. I also had an arm man
that looked like a gold snake. The whole outfit was
just super cute. I love that, but I'm gonna warn
anyone doing that. The gold snake around your arm, people

(02:53):
are gonna think your tailor swift from like the reputation tour.
All right, I need the advice. I'm trying to pull
together costume that has both of my kids involved in it.
One's iron Man, one's a witch. What do I do
four five eight, one oh five seven, or am I
switching it up entirely into doing my own thing, Because
now that you've said, Edward Scissorhands, I would love the

(03:16):
leather get up in at movies
