happening now? This is the first annual go Tacos and
Tequila and Taps pest right, Yeah, first time we're doing it.
The Hartford yard Goats at Duncan Park have a great
events partner, three sixty Marketing Events kind of approached us
and have this fantastic themed party that they do Tacos,

Tequila and Taps, and so we're thrilled to label a
Goat Tacos Tequila Taps the greatest of all time.
Speaker 1 (00:39):
Yeah, I wonder why you know something about.
Speaker 2 (00:41):
Branding one on one and so Yeah, this is a
kind of a three day bash that we're having at
the ballpark with you know, over twenty local restaurants coming.
We've got live kind of kitchen demos. They are gonna
be done on the dugout. You can sample one hundred.

And trus on top of the dugout.

Yeah, we're building a stage on top of the dugout
to feature it great local music that's going to be
playing all weekend long.

It's a three day party. Yeah, exactly right.

So the Thursday is kind of the got VIP session,
a preview session, and then Friday things really kind of
get underway, and then we have two sessions on Saturday,
one that starts at one o'clock and then the evening
session that starts at six. So Friday at five, Saturday
at one, or Saturday at six. There's a lot going on.

we'll be doing the VIP event.

I am going to be doing a beerria flatbread soon.
We feature at the restaurant at Zephyr Street Pizza and
we're doing a churo cannoli, which is a little different.

That sounds like a diabetic shock.

A hundred percent bluecose through the roof. I'm done with
it right on top of the tequila. But it sounds delicious.
Cairo Cannoli was my nickname in high school. Believe it
or now, that's where you got Yeah, yeah, it was rising.

He couldn't tell what was going on.

So you got the canoli, churros and what else are
you going to have?
Speaker 3 (02:16):
And I'm doing a beer of flatbread, which is just
a virgin of a pizza I do in the flat
red pizza things. Yeah, it's just it'll be cuter and
smaller than the that's all that means.
Speaker 2 (02:25):
Yeah, the people they need, they need a small portions
because there's going to be so much food and drinks.
Speaker 1 (02:31):
How much as they're going to be a drink.
Speaker 2 (02:33):
Yeah, I think we're up to about one hundred and
twenty five adult beverages. It's not all tequila. Obviously, we
have some fantastic brains and partners. Malagro, Toteo, Patron are
going to be there. We have a lot of tequila
vendors that are coming out, but between craft beers as
well as other spirits, including some local ones. Waypoint Spirits
is going to be there. Lichfield Distillery is going to
be there. So tequila doesn't have to be your thing
(02:55):
to come out and have a great time, but.

But you can certainly enjoy it when you do come, absolutely,
and if you want to give it a little test,
this is the place to do it because you're gonna
be able to sample and just have a great time
all week and long.

I was just reading tequila is now the number one
selling spirit in the country.
Speaker 1 (03:10):
Crazy right over vodka. I know you can drink as
much as you want, wake up and feel great. That's right, Yeah,
I mean it'll be great.

We've got the live music coming every day, so enjoy responsibly,
of course, and we've got options if you're designated. I
saw that the ticket prices are a certain price, but
if you're a designated driver you pay less. Yeah, correct,
because you're not sampling, right, right, So, and you're not
going to be able to get served if you have
that designation. You know that bracelet on.

Very cool to have that option. Now, who does this
weekend benefit? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (03:39):
So, so not only is there a great kind of
fiesta going on, but it's for a good cause as
well too. So we've gotten a great partner in Groundworks LLC.
That is love Presenting. Groundworks, a great company. Yeah, and
they're the presenting sponsor of sort of the charitable side
of this. And there are two organizations that do great
work locally. One is Hartford's Camp Current, which has a
phenomena emissions and hands on Hartford as well too, So

they are going to be the beneficiaries of some of
the proceeds of this event.

Oh that sounds fantastic.
Speaker 2 (04:08):
How about your tickets, Well, you're gonna have so tickets
are gonna be ten dollars more if you walk up,
so you want to get them in advance. Depending on
the session that you're going to, you just visit goat
Tacos Tequila taps dot com figure out which session is
right for you, whether you want to do the VIP
night or if you're coming during the publicly available sessions,
and again you're going to save a little money if
you pre order versus walking up.

Walk ups are welcome, but you're going to pay about
ten dollars more.

Thursday of the twenty fourth, it's a Happy Got the
VIP preview night. On Friday from five to nine at
Duncan Park, it's the Grand Tasting, and then all day Saturday,
you got more Grand Tastings.

was over twenty local restaurants. And then how many breweries
and distilleries you guys got coming in? Yeah, so many, plenty,
certainly in our beer partners obviously at the ballpark. We
do a great job throughout the course of the baseball season,

and a lot of those folks love participating in things
that are going on when there is no home game
being played, So we're into the dozens of breweries, local breweries,
craft beer brands, distilleries.
