Good morning, Hi, thank you so much for having me.
I'm so happy you could be here today. For people
who don't know about the Boys and Girls Club of Milford,
what is it that you do.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
We are an after school and summer program for all
school age youth, whether they live in Milford or a
surrounding community. Any child can come to the Boys and
Girls Club. Basically, we're open when school's out.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
And what kind of impact has it had on the
kids who've attended.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
The impact that the Boys and Girls Club has on kids,
it varies. For some kids, we're an after school program
so they have a safe place to be while their
parents at work. And for other kids, we're a lifeline
and we're making sure that their homework's getting done. We're
making sure that there's somebody in their life saying hello
and how are you and how is your day. We're
making sure they have food and clothes and magical Christmases.

(00:57):
So every kid uses a club a little differently. And
every way. We're happy to be there for them, and the.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
Parents must be so appreciative too, and they must be
so happy because they're safe there.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
Definitely our parents. We have some parents that are super
engaged in their kids' lives and really really grateful, and
then we have other parents not as engaged, but all
of them are very grateful for the Boys and Girls Club.
And what are our amazing team of staff members provide
for their kids?

Speaker 3 (01:21):
What are the ages of the children who can attend.

have a little bit younger, sometimes they have a little
bit older.
