The whole town gathering, the marching band echoing through the stadium, the cheerleaders on the sideline, the families in the stands, and kids running around with footballs behind the bleachers. It’s about community. This year hits even closer to home, because our son is suiting up for 7th grade football. I couldn’t be more excited to watch him take the field. Those memories he’s making are the same ones for all the players, the cheerleaders, the band and they’ll carry those with them forever. So before we head into kickoff tonight, let’s celebrate what makes it all special.
