when the show begins, my middlename is Dallas, and while it does

seem like a bit my dad didwant to name my middle name Dallas because
of the Dallas Cowboys during their theSuper Bowl run, and Craig usually will
ask me what does the D standfor? With the Cowboys has always dumbfounded
because of their decision makings, andas we git closer and closer to the
NFL season starting, it seems likethe Cowboys could be perhaps without what are

their best playmakers on offense if hedecides to hold out, and that is
Ceedee Lamb. We just saw therecord breaking contract Justin Jefferson got thirty five
million dollars his average annual salary,and Ceedee Lamb, who is nearing the
end of his rookie contract, deservesan extension and he may end up holding

out just like we saw last yearwith Zack Martin. Of course, Zack
Martin a little bit longer in theleague, but Ceedee Lamb can make a
lot of money. What will hedo? We'll talk about the Cowboys cap
situation and more into the show,of course, Michael Parsons on that and
Dak Prescott. Three quarterbacks going inthe next season could technically hit the unrestricted
free agency market. Dak Prescott,Jordan Love and Tua Tagavaloa. Now it

does seem like the Packers will resignJordan Love. The TOA situation is very
interesting in the Dak Prescott situation,which could have been avoided. Who knows
what will happen with that. Itdoes seem like Dallas is comfortable with letting
Dak maybe play out this last year, and it seems like Dak is also
comfortable with that. And what willthose two sides do. I don't know

if Jerry Jones knows, but allthe leverage seems to be in Dak Prescott's
sand because even if he does hitthe market, he's going to get whatever
number he's looking for as a freeagent. There's going to be some team
without a quarterback that will be willingto sign him. The Cowboys. There
won't be a quarterback like Dak Prexiccotton the market, and they have not
drafted one really that could possibly fillthe avoid of Dak Prescott. I know

there's some saying Trey Lance Andrew,but that's not a quarterback you trust.
See. I like Trey Lance.I watched him at North Dakota State.
Now, granted the sample size issmall. I just never thought he got
a fair shake in San Francisco.I thought he didn't get the reps that
he needed. If the Cowboys areokay with letting Dak walk, imagine Mike

McCarthy likes what he sees out ofhis backup quarterback. If Trey Lance treats
the preseason like Dak Prescott did intwenty sixteen and used it as like a
you know, hey, this isme, this is what I have.
If Dak goes down and Trey Lancesteps up, maybe we don't even have
this problem come December. Well,if you're gonna roll a quarterback that needs
development, you know, how doesthat work with a team that Jerry Jones

describes as all in. You're allin the super Bowl. You're going to
use a quarterback that has no experience? If you're all in to me,
that means re signing Dak Prescott.Here's the thing. You're talking about a
quarterback when they experience a lot ofCowboys fans are going to tell you,
you know who didn't have any experiencewith Tom Brady. Tom Braid didn't come

in with a ton of experience whenhe backed up. Letso Trey Lance say,
man, look, maybe lightning strikestwice. Who knows well, Tom
Brady had one of the best defensesin the league. Behind him, he
also had probably the best coach,and the Cowboys have neither of that.

am curious about that because I don'teven know what college prospects look good this
