The NFL season is right around the corner so how does each teams set of playmakers stack up against the rest? Craig and Cam review Bill Barnwell's rankings from ESPN and Dallas Cowboys are going to sighhhhhh.

I mentioned this earlier that today ismy second wedding anniversary for Linda and myself,
So we're going to go out andhave dinner tonight and that'd be nice.

You know, Linda handled so muchof this and the design and everything and

and by and large he followed that, I mean, yes, there

fan of air supply, but hedid, and but that's okay. Otherwise,
he did a really good job.Well included in his work as the
DJ was he was going to playthe music for the processional the wedding,
and there was like three songs andone of them was in My Life by

the Beatles, and there were acouple of other ones, and then on
the procession out was going to beYou Make Love and Fun by Fleetwood Mac,
and that's what happened. But thingswere different. The wedding was supposed
to be outdoors, outside with theocean in the background. There it's a

beautiful setting. But of course theone time in the two weeks that it
rained, it rained that day,so we couldn't have it outside, and
the late decision was to move intothe inside room. But they were prepared
for it and it came off very, very nicely. The only thing is

and we walk out, it's supposedto be to the music of Fleewood Mac

he and I'm just gonna skim oversome of this and let you know,
he ranked all the teams in termsof their talent, their top talent wide

receivers, tight ends, running backs. Those three positions, wide receivers,
tight ends, running backs, theteam that has the worst He's got the
Los Angeles Chargers after they were fifthlast year. In sixty or four,

he said, virtually every significant playerwho placed the Chargers in the top five
before last season took a major stepbackward left town and weren't replaced with a
player of similar caliber. The mostnotable player remains Quentin Johnston. Remember him
from Temple the TCU horn Frock,who averaged nearly zero point nine to four

yards per route run as a rookie. A lot of drops though, yeah,
a lot of drops. The Patriotsare thirty first, Broncos thirtieth,
Giants, twenty ninth Panthers, twentyeighth, Steelers, twenty seventh, Manders,

three. The Colts are twenty two. Number twenty one is the Cardinals,
The Browns are twenty, Titans arenineteen. Dallas Cowboys eighteen eighteen. They

on the Cowboys. How does theteam drop out of the top ten when

its number one wide receiver has acareer year. I suppose it's a fair
question given that cd Lamb led theleague in receptions with one hundred and thirty
five and had a whopping seventeen hundredand forty nine passing yards for Dak Prescott.
There were some concerns during the draftthat Lamb might not have the size
and route running ability to win oneon one and tighter quarters, but those
have faded. Islam has grown intoan NFL into the NFL game. He

posted an eighty five open score lastseason, second only to veteran wizard Keenan
Allen. The number two receiver arguablywas tied end Jake Ferguson. It was
unclear whether he would be the starterahead of rookie second rounder Luke Scommaker,
but by the end of the seasonhe'd become a trusted part of the offense,

racking up seven hundred and sixty oneyards in five touchdowns. He also
wins the Gabe Davis Award for mosttantalizing performance and a playoff loss, as

has fallen off noticeably of the pasttwo seasons. After averaging north of two
point zero yards per route run ineach of his first two seasons with the
Texans, he dropped one point sevento twenty twenty two and just one point

three in Dallas last season. Hissaving grace last year was a plus eight
point two percent catch rate over expectation, which might owe more to Prescott than
Cooks, given that Lamb was atplus ten point three in Jalen Tolbert just

and Michael Parsons, the depth hereis nonexistent. The Cowboys cut Michael

That's a running back group that isprobably bottom five of the league. And

then the receiver spot, yeah,Ceedee Lamb probably a top five, top
three receiver. But then letting MichaelGallup go, who I thought was the
right move because he just did nothave a good year last year, cannot
get consistent, does not make enoughbig plays. I'm fine with him letting
him go. But they did notselect a receiver with any of their top

draft picks, which is okay consideringthey needed offensive line help and defensive side
help. But they didn't make anyfree agent moves for receiver. It didn't
make any trades. So they're askingJaalen tobert the Alabama state wide out to
have South Alabama wide out to havea huge leap this season, and same
thing for confind Dy Turpin, theformer USFL standout player. So they're from

TCU. They're putting a lot offaith in these guys who have not been
proven that take huge leap this year, huge leaps. And if I'm Mike
McCarthy, I'm pissed right because thisis your final season. It's a contract
year for him. You're looking aroundand Barnball makes a good point point.
If Ceedee Lamb goes down, you'recooked. You're cooked, and now you're
gonna try and make a trade forsomebody else. At this point, it's

it's too late. So the playmakersis a huge concern for this Dallas Cowboy
team. The depth is a hugeconcern. If I'm Dak Prescott, you're
looking at San Francisco, who hassurrounded brock Purty with great whiteouts, with
Brad and Ayyuk, with Deebo Samuel, with George Kittle or Christian McCaffrey,
and you're turning around and you're seeing, Yeah, maybe he sees Zeo Elliott

and he's like, oh, okay, I got my best friend back.
But I mean Zeke gets what ayard or two and a cloud of dust
every time touches the ball. RicoDaddle doesn't have that many carries in his
NFL career. Man, they're puttinga lot on these guys who are not
