been selected to this point. Thosewould be Jared Thomas in the second round
to the Colorado Rockies forty second overallpick, and Labaron Johnson Junior the right

an associate head coach and assistant atTexas State. There for Stephen Trout.
Stephen Trout lost one of his assistantcoach at Jerry Savants who went up to
join the Arkansas State staff with theirnew head coach who met had a working

relationship with in the past, thehead coach that went up from Nichols,
and so it opened up a coachingspot, and it was an opportunity for
coach Pierce to jump right back intothe game and also have to move.
It's a big piece of it.And also there's another part of that being

state employee for all of his yearsas a high school coach and teacher and
a collegiate coach at state institutions.I think there's a teacher retirement piece in
there that works out for him toget to the finish line on that,
because he's pretty close on that.So I think there's that. So I'm

happy for David Pierce and and happyfor Steven Trout in the Texas State program.
It's that's a plus for them aswell. Yeah, super happy for
coach Pierce cloud he could land onhis feet and also get, you know,
two years closer to that retirement perhaps. And I mean, of course
Texas fan's maybe upset with how thelast couple of years, and but remember
Craig, he was a fantastic assistantcoach in his stops before tu Lane.

Yep. What he did on theRice staff as a pitching coach, they
had one of the best pitching staffsin all of America during his time with
Alice. So he's still a goodcoach and it's a great addition for Texas.
I know Ty Harrington's probably very happyto have peers on staff there.
