anytime you hear a meteorologists say theweather models do not agree or we have
three or four of these weather modelsand they're not all in agreement with them.

what a couple of weeks ago,I guess was that sort of thing a

a bunch yesterday and this morning.And I and I watch all I do

all you can ask my wife Linda. I watch all of the local area
newscasts, okay, x A nK, I KU box seven. I
watch all of them a DVR,the six six o'clock newscasts and the eleven
o'clock and then even some of theearlier ones in the day. So I
watched them A for weather, butwell A for news, and then B

for weather, and then also sports. So so I'm watching all of them.
And and the other thing that themeteorologists say, can't blame them for
this, that they do say wheneverwe get rain like we've had in the
last twenty four hours, they'll they'lltalk about it. And I'm looking outside
right now here you know where weare, astride, you know, Lake

Austin here near hard by the PennybackerBridge. We're pretty close to it.
And I'm watching rainfall. And Isaw this yesterday afternoon when I got home,
and last night and then DVR inthe morning newscast to look at all
that, and the meteorologists are all, see, you know, so we've
gotten this mount of rain. We'vegot rain, a lot of rain,

you know out west in Atlanto Countyand Burnon County and blah blah, and
then they add the words which isa good thing. So whenever you hear
a meteorologists say we're getting blah blahblah blahin and that's a good thing,
or which is a good thing,I think we're all in agreement. That's
a good thing. It is.I look at my yard and it's drinking

it all any like it, butthat could be a drinking game as well.
Whenever you hear meteorologists say we're gettingwe're getting significant rain and that's a
good thing. And I would imaginethey probably say as opposed to saying it's
a bad thing if you get flashflooding, because that's the other side of
it. And I do know thatthere they said there was going to be
a flash flood warning. I thinkout in Wano County tonight because the rains

may really spike up, so yeah, that it's good for them to know
that as well. But a lotof the rain I'm hearing that's to the
west of US is dropping into thosetributaries that feed into the Highland lakes and
things like that, which is alla good thing. So they're supposed to

rain every day until Monday. Now, of course that can change, but
every day until Monday we might getsome sort of rain showers, scattered thunderstorms.
So I'm good with that. Yeah, I'm good with that. I'm
good with that because it also keepsthe temperatures down. Yeah, a little
humid. Yeah, it was likeHouston, Florida out there, but North
Caroliniva the summer too. Eighty degreesin late July. I mean, who

would have thought. I can livewith it because we know in August,
in September, August thirty first,because Colorado State, we're going to be
sitting. If you're going to bein that north end zone like myself,
most likely at two thirty you willbe cooking bacon in Broiland, right,
So we'll take this eight degree weather. So what are you going to sit
in the tickets that you have withyou? I don't know my Dad's like,

don't know. Maybe I'm just abig bit of a whimp. Now you

camps are here and that they're underway. Now I understand where we are with
you with regard to your your feelingsand thoughts and perspectives on the Cowboys.

I get it. I do saluteyou in that you have not shirt your
responsibility or shied away from keeping upwith and reading up on the Cowboys strings
and weaknesses and needs and unanswered asyou were saying, that was one of
the things that frustrated you the most. I was struck by something Dak Prescott

said. And again this is refersto watching all the local newscasts last night.
I think I heard and saw thisSoundBite on at least a couple of
the newscast where Dak I won't sayhe's being sensitive about it, but clearly
he's been asked about it. Andthat is the inertia, the lack of

asked him about talent, and hehad this real kind of esoteric, generic
philosophical thing about talent is something insometimes in name only, and that they're

although that's true by the same token, the fact that they didn't really do

much of anything with regard to that, and then and then not only that,

still have contract issues unresolved, asyou pointed out with Dak Prescott and word
is ceedee Lamb's not going to reporttomorrow, which is not good if if

of this in the NFL very veryclosely and on their NFL Nation site UH
for ESPN or ESPN plus what waswritten was the the statement that does all

it earned Garrett a five year deal. Is that what you're worried about as

roster, I mean Craig Dallas isone injury away to the Ceedee Lamb or

Cowboys fan and you have looked atthe schedule, is ridiculous. To start

this season at Cleveland week one,who had one of the best defenses in
the league in the first half ofthe season this past year. You go
to New Orleans, which will beokay, but then you're home for Balti
More, a Ravens team that wasone of the best in the AFC this
past season. You go to aNew York team that had a great draft
a good offseason. You go toa Pittsburgh team that's always tough to beat.

for Detroit, who was a playoffteam a couple plays away from going to
