you know, watch your grandkids swim. I'm excited for him. Yeah.
Olympics underway, and in fact, the opening ceremonies from from Paris I believe
began about at twelve thirty. LebronJames for some reason is a part of
the US opening ceremony over kit Ledeciand a few other Olympic athletes. But

(01:49):
that's underway. When Texas well representingat the US Olympics, we'll run on
the list of names of players andcoaches in fall twenty twenty four Olympics up
in Paris. Basketball will have agood representation with Kevin Durant, who might
be the greatest Olympic basketball player inUS history of all time, trying to

(02:14):
get another gold medal. Course swimmingand diving track some great great Texas Longhorns
who will be partaking in the summergames in Paris. We'll get to that.
Of course, now because Craig isout, it does not mean that
we will not be giving away afree copy, well free copies rather of

(02:35):
Dave Campbell's Texas Football Magazine the Bible. We've been given out ten free copies
every day this week and we willcontinue that inn hour two of the show.
So what you're gonna have to doin case you have not done it

the free iHeartRadio app and learn howthe use that talkback button. That's how

(03:00):
you're going to win a free copyof Dave Campbell's Texas Football Magazine. In
fact, we've had some great submissions, and if you're curious how it works,
all you have to do is leavea talkback message no longer than thirty
seconds on why you're fired up forthis year's copy of Dave's Campbell's Texas Football

(03:21):
Magazine. In fact, this wasa message from Cynthia yesterday, one of
our winners. Hi, this isCynthia Bartech from Belton, Texas. I
like to see the Dave Campbell's magazinebecause of the high school section. That's
my favorite section. And I liketo see where the high schools fall and
where they're ranked. Because there areso many new schools it's hard to keep

(03:42):
track of all of them. Ialso like to see the front cover because
usually it's somebody really outstanding, andI like to see what kind of picture
they take. Thank you, aybye, all right, thank you, Cynthia.
You have a free copy of DaveCampbell's Texas Football coming at you soon.
The interesting part about the cover iswe actually we had Greg Tepper,

(04:03):
the managing editor Dave Campbell Texas Football, on the show. I think it
was two weeks ago. He joinsUS Weekly, but two weeks ago we
talked about that cover, the frontcover with Connor Wigman and Quinn Yours and
how that came to be. TheRobbery Reborn A really good listen and of
course you can always listen to anythingon this show on demand for free on

(04:25):
the free iHeartRadio app. Just goto the Craig Way Show where you get
all of your podcasts and you canlisten to that. And that's also how
you can win a copy by usingthe talk back future listening to this show
live or on demand. So againtwo o'clock, the second hour of the
show, three o'clock hour, wewill go ahead and give away ten more
free copies. Just listen for thesignal that will come from yours truly.

(04:48):
Also on today's show, Menson CJVocal joining us the next segment talk about
Texas football camp on Tuesday, beginningthirty six days away from Texas football.
But also so it has been busy. Yesterday the Barbecue Bash Texas hosted a
handful of big recruits, not justcommitted recruits for this next cycle, but

(05:09):
also in the coming cycles. Gonnahear from CJ on what stood out in
Texas getting a flip a four stardefensive tackle, Sharma flipping from Oregon to
Texas. That's right. We've seena lot of Texas to Oregon lately in
the past month. But Texas getsa big win on the recruiting trail and
a big win for Kenny Baker, the new defensive line coach. We're gonna

(05:30):
get CJ's thoughts on that. Alsohis takeaways from the SEC Media Days and
the Texas High School Coaches Association Convention. He was there last week. He
was there, he talked with SteveSarkejian in other Texas and Texas State coaches
as well, get all of histhoughts on that, and of course Texas

(05:50):
Football Camp next week. NFL trainingcamp has begun this week with players and
rookies and vets and coach is allof that reporting to camp. Dallas Cowboys,
of course their tradition going to oxynor California, trying to beat the
texts, seat and well. Camphas been missing some big names, including

(06:12):
star wide out Ceedee lamp in searchof a new contract, dek Prescott going
into what could be his final seasonas a Dallas Cowboy. He's shown up
and he has faced the media andhe has faced it proudly. And also
Michaeh Parsons he is due for acontract. All three of those guys do
for new contracts. None of thosehave gotten a new contract, and Jerry

(06:35):
and Steven and Mike McCarthy have beenpeppered with questions about that. We played
some of that audio yesterday, butI want to give back to some of
that audio and some new audio aswell. Mike McCarthy visited with the media
today talking about all of that. Also, Mike Simmers new defense, how
Micah Parson's fitting that going to hitall of that because it's not the Dallas

(06:56):
Cowboys without storylines surrounding them that hasnothing to do with their on field performance,
just like good times. But Dallas, you know, we heard a
lot about ce Lamb and Dak's contract. Not the only ones who are dealing
with receivers holding out Brighton I youin San Francisco he wants a new contract,
Jamar Chase in Cincinnati. All theseguys angling for new contracts, Trent

(07:20):
Williams and San Francisco as well. That the Star tackle for the forty nine
ers. So it's not just Dallasdealing with it. But will the Cowboys
get a deal done? And why? I think it sounds like Jerry Jones
and the Cowboys have kind of acceptedthe fact that Dak Prescott may not be
their quarterback going into next season.I'm going to play that audio for you

(07:40):
in talk about it and how itpertains the rest of the league. And
also some interesting comments from Kyle Shanahanon quarterback negotiations in this new contracts as
we're seeing, possibly for the firsttime ever, an NFL quarterback get a
sixty million dollars per year deal.It might be Dak, it might be
Rock Purty, it might be JordanLove. We'll see all that and more

(08:01):
here on a fire me Up Friday, and of course Andrew inconceivable and what
does Friday mean for inconceivable Florida andFriday cam I am so pumped for this.
I did my research. I dugdeep to find some of the best
Florida mand stories. You're gonna beimpressed today. I love it. That's
right on Friday. That means wetravel to the more flaccid, the lower

(08:24):
forty eight states and rates for thatlow hanging fruit. And Andrew's got some
low hanging fruit for us here today. Glad you can join us here
in the Craigway Show, camperon Parkerand Andrew Simma will have it for you.
The Olympics are on their way,NFL training campus underway, and Texas
football camp begins next week. We'regonna visit with CJ. Foegel, who
