(01:16):
the Hook them hang out at Bevo Boulevard there in
the wind Chip Circle area. Right there in the heart
of Bevo Boulevard, right by Big Beer Tha and the
food trucks and all that stuff is Mark Henry availed
himself with more of the local cuisine that he's been
promising to try out.
Speaker 3 (01:33):
Yes, and shout out the food truck says, they've been
so great to us. Juicy Lucy's brought us some of
their finest hamburgers the last couple of shows. In fact, Craig,
there's one I wanted to talk to you, but actually
there's a couple things I want to talk to you about, Yeah,
including Tutors. By the way, I'm not sure if you've
heard about this Tutor story.
Speaker 1 (01:52):
Yeah, the thing with the Marshall head Coach's talked about
Tutor's Biscuit World where we went where I took you
and Eddie range last year.
Speaker 3 (01:59):
Yeah, because it's so outside of that Juicy Lucy's food
truck out there. Shout out to them. They've they've fed
us last two weeks. They brought us and I did
not try this because just not my appetite, even though
I do like peanut butter. They did bring us a
P B and J Hamburger Wow.
Speaker 1 (02:16):
Remember I was talking about the PB and J Hamburger Wow.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
Okay, did not try shout up?
Speaker 3 (02:24):
Also, pineapple ninjas. They've been they've been bringing us Agua
frescoes that have helped us cool down because it's been
so hot. And then this.
Speaker 1 (02:32):
Explained to me, what's the difference between the agua fresca
and just like a I don't really know.
Speaker 2 (02:38):
I mean, what is it?
Speaker 1 (02:39):
I mean you're drinking it right, or is it more
like an icy or a slurp?
Speaker 3 (02:42):
No, it's just like a drink.
Speaker 2 (02:43):
It's like fruit juice. I guess.
Speaker 3 (02:45):
Oh, okay, okay, I'm not sure. And there was one
other like rap. It's a rap. It's a rap wrap
spelled R a P. They have wings named after rappers
and stuff. They brought us these orange pepper wings yesterday
or Saturday whenever. It was very good. So it's been great.
And you gotta you know, we have that game day
promo that runs across our station about Mark Henry talking
(03:07):
about I can't wait to sample all that food. He
is not lying folks. He he this man knows how
to eat and so. And then of course the Tutor story,
which I found on College Game Day watching Saturday. I
missed it during the week when the Marshall head coach
was speaking to the media hither of how State game, talking about, Hey,
recruits with nil come to Marshall, you'll get free Tutor's
(03:31):
biscuit all you want, all.
Speaker 2 (03:32):
You can eat.
Speaker 3 (03:33):
And I think something that maybe you would enjoy, Craig,
because you're a big Tutors guy.
Speaker 1 (03:37):
I'm a big fan of Tutors Biscuit World. I have
to admit that I am. And I did hear that
it that it's done and that they will give and
he was saying it really kind of tongue in cheek,
you know. So, but can you dagine if somebody said, yeah,
(04:01):
I want that, uh, you know, for my nil unlimited
Tutors biscuits. Tudor's Biscuit World is more than just biscuits,
although that's kind of their lead thing. They had these
these big giant biscuits and you can get them with
ham or eggs or sausage or some combination thereof. They
(04:21):
have names, different names for them, like one of my
personal favorites was the Politician, which was egg and a
whole bunch of bologny. As they said on there, a
big chuck of the chunk of that thick slice bologne.
But they have pancakes there. They have full breakfast to
Tutor's Biscuit World. Yeah, it's I think after we went,
I had to go home, take a nap.
Speaker 2 (04:39):
There's not much. There's not much.
Speaker 1 (04:43):
I will say this, there's not an awful lot to
miss about going to Morgantown, West Virginia, but that would
be one of them. But you can get it into Huntington,
which is just across the state line, just inside of
the Ohio River, across from the state of Kentucky.
Speaker 2 (04:57):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (04:57):
I don't think we're going to be going to that
part any times, but we are going to be in
the south, so we're gonna be near a good old
fried Chicken at some point at some point during this
next basketball season.
Speaker 2 (05:08):
Yeah. I thought about you when I was flipping around.
Speaker 1 (05:10):
Uh, driving back on Saturday morning from doing the high
school show Friday night.
Speaker 2 (05:15):
I picked up the Charlotte broadcast. One of their big
sponsors is bo Jangles.
Speaker 3 (05:19):
Oh yeah, hey, December third, we're gonna be in Raleigh,
right December fourth, Okay, yeah, but we'll fly in on
the third, you right, And I'm getting it's gonna be
bow time.
Speaker 1 (05:31):
All right, it's going to be bow time at some point.
But there's I know of great barbecue in that area.
So I'm I'm getting getting barbecue North Carolina, Eastern North Carolina,
Port Barbecue. In fact, if you're up for it, we
could do this. I can take care of the Wilson's
to Parkers. That's like one of the Valhalla places there,
(05:53):
you know, just say it. It's just one of the
places there. In case you haven't figured out. We talk
a lot about food. Yeah, the program, Okay, let's talk
some football. The I'm gonna I'm gonna give you these
results and you tell me which was more surprising.
Speaker 2 (06:12):
Okay, then we're doing this kind of like a little bit.
Speaker 1 (06:15):
Of a playoff here on the most surprising result of
the weekend.
Speaker 2 (06:18):
Okay, here we go.
Speaker 1 (06:21):
Which of these games were the outcome the result more surprising?
Speaker 2 (06:30):
All right?
Speaker 1 (06:32):
New York Giants twenty one, Cleveland Browns fifteen in Cleveland,
Indianapolis Colts twenty one, Chicago Bear sixteen in Indy Which
of those is more surprising.
Speaker 2 (06:42):
Hmmm, that's a tough one.
Speaker 3 (06:47):
Uh. I think I would have picked the Colts in
that game. They just still Anthony Register just looks very raw.
Giants Browns, Do you start Jamis Winston next week if
you're the Cleveland Brown's, because now you've got two losses
to probably two of the worst teams in the league
right now, the Giants and the Cowboys. I mean, Daniel Jones,
(07:09):
who might be the worst starting quarterback in the league,
looked okay. You made him look okay. Now, a lot
of that was Malik Neighbors, who made I think three
ridiculous catches. I mean it was like a hybrid of
Randy Moss and Jerry Rice on some of those those
touchdown grabs. And he had that sideline Randy Moss s
(07:30):
Moss over the New York the Cleveland brown defender, I
would say, Giants, Browns.
Speaker 2 (07:36):
Okay, So New York Giants, Okay.
Speaker 1 (07:39):
The next two Minnesota thirty four, Houston seven.
Speaker 2 (07:45):
Or so. Oh take that off of there. That'll make
that work a little easier.
Speaker 1 (07:52):
Okay, the Minnesota thirty four, Houston seven or Denver twenty six,
Tampa Bay seven, Han which there's more surprise point.
Speaker 2 (08:01):
That's a tough one.
Speaker 3 (08:02):
Well, I think it's surprising the Texans offense only scored
seven points. And now you go from that Week two
win over Chicago, where's like, okay, bears up a good
defense and they still do offense struggled in that second half.
It struggled all the way in that entire I mean
their first point team in the third quarter. Correct, and
that this is a really good offense. So with a
(08:23):
lot of weapons. Give a lot of credit to Brian Flores,
the Vikings fensive coordinator. But seven points against the Vikings. Now,
Bohnicks actually looked decent against Tampa Bay. But still it's
it's the Buccaneers. It's still Baker Mayfield quarterback. So I'll
say more surprising was the Texans only scored in seven
points against the Fikings.
Speaker 1 (08:44):
Okay, all right, and then I've got one more matchup
to for you to or two more matchups for you
to choose between Carolina thirty six, Las Vegas twenty two
two or La Rams twenty seven San Francisco twenty four.
Speaker 3 (09:07):
I'm going to go with Carolina just because San Francisco
no Christian McCaffrey, no Deebo, Samuel.
Speaker 2 (09:16):
Rams, no Pukak, no Cooper Cup.
Speaker 3 (09:18):
That's true, that's true. But John McVay is still top
three coach in the league. I'm not sure about Dave
Knaalis in Carolina.
Speaker 2 (09:27):
Could I mean?
Speaker 3 (09:28):
First of all, Andy Dalton, who great quarterback at TCU,
threw for three hundred and nineteen yards in three touchdown
passes Andy Dalton in twenty twenty four? Would the Panthers
be three? You no? If they had started Andy Dalton
instead of Bryce Shown Who could say? And how about
coach Pierce talking about in his press conference saying some
(09:50):
of the Raiders players were making business decisions in the
second half, Well, we're going to be making some business
decisions as well. So something like some people are gonna
be in the chopping block. Give me Panthers, Raiders.
Speaker 1 (10:01):
Big old gingy there with the red rifle, the red
rifle doing it.
Speaker 2 (10:06):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (10:07):
So of the three Giants over Browns, Vikings putting thirty
four on the Texans or Carolina against UH, Carolina would
win over the Raiders, which is the most surprising result
of the weekend.
Speaker 3 (10:23):
Probably Texans, because I still had hope that in Houston
winning that game. But Minnesota might be that team. I
think Atlanta with Matt Ryan ifew was, I can't remember.
It was the year before they went to the Super
Bowl and they started off six to zero and then
they lost six in a row or lost five or six,
(10:44):
barely made the playoffs, may have missed it. Will Minnesota
be that team? Or are they actually for real? Because
right now they might be the best team in the
NFC for or three weeks?
Speaker 1 (10:55):
Yeah, okay, all right, there it is. There's a look
at some of the NFL stuff. A lot more on
that come up, But up next, more from coach Sark
when we continue on Sports Radio AM thirteen under the
Zone in the ihear Radio Am
