We begin the four o'clock hour of this program with
more college football talk that they were doing. Also, we'll
keep you updated on the baseball that's going on. The
Oakland Athletics playing in front of a sellout crowd for
the final game ever in Oakland, at least as the
Athletics anyway, as they'll leave that game right now, is

in the top half of the sixth inning and Oakland
holds a three to nothing lead on the Texas Rangers.
Rangers had a had Kumar Rocker on the mound, but
he's out of the ball game now, so we'll keep
you updated on that. We mentioned the long Worn's injury

the fact that Quinn Ewers is still listed as questionable.

they want to make with regard to the college football weekend,

to add more teams.

Currently that the the Sun Belt buyout is a princely
five million dollars that's it to do that.

The American had threatened twenty five million dollar exit fees
which were poorly factored into the four teams turning down
the PAC twelve offer earlier in the week, and that
included UTSA incidentally, So this is still, you know, being
decided because remember what we told you about the PAC twelve.

As we know, they absolutely have one more year to
do this. They have absolutely one more year to get
the membership back up to eight schools in order to
be eligible for the College Football Playoff that they that

they are absolutely required to have eight, So they've added four.

We know that those are coming in Colorado State Fresno State.

With the San Diego State and is at Wyoming is yeah,
coming in coming in to the pact roll. But they
have to add two more schools to do this. So
that's why this shopping is going on. And that's also
why the the Mountain West is coming back with a lawsuit,

a poaching lawsuit against the PAC twelve. So that's going
on too, that they're suing them because of the poaching thing.
So anyway, there's there's a lot of that. There's a
lot of that stuff. And so incidentally, the Mountain West
has six signatures for a new binding agreement to keep

its schools together through twenty thirty two. Hawaii has not signed,
but the agreement only needed six of seven, two of
them being air Force in UNLV, which has happened. So
we'll see if that ultimately works out that way. And
so this fallout still continues and it's reshuffling. But all
of this reshuffling now is happening beneath the the you know,

the tier of the Power four, now that they've made
their moves with Texas and Oklahoma, the SEC and all
the shuffling that happened in the Big ten with USC, UCLA, Oregon,
Washington in the Big ten and the ACC adding Stanford
and cow So because of those things happening, things have

now kind of quieted in terms of the Power four leagues.
But now the Pac twelve is trying to again make
it a Power five and they've got one more year
to make this happen in order to be back in
and in the playoff and the College Football Playoff as

the packed up.
