Dak is Done

Dak Prescott suffered a major leg injry on Sunday and it became offical Monday morning that he might be done for the season.

Prescott on the ir with a hurt hamstring. Here's Ian

Dak Prescott, the Cowboys starting quarterback, is expected to miss
multiple weeks with a hamstring injured that he suffered on Sunday.
Seemed to be a routine pass to the sideline. Dak
kind of pulled up. You could tell immediately something was
not right. He ended up watching the rest of the
game from the sideline pretty quickly ruled out. Had an
MRI earlier this morning to reveal the diagnosis again, multiple weeks.

This is not expected to be a short term deal
for Dak Prescott. In fact, there is still a chance
that he ends up on injured reserves.

If things couldn't get worse for the Dallas Cowboys, they
just got a whole lot worse now. Kooper Rosh didn't
do bad yesterday in relief for Dakota Prescott. But our
Cowboys fans have said since the beginning of the season, Okay,
do we want to have Dak on a one year
dealer or do you want to give him a long
term deal? Well, Jerry Jones and the Jones family decided

to give dak Prescott that long term deal, give him
a little bit more security, give the franchise a little
bit more security. Okay, we know who our franchise quarterback is.
We know who will be under center for us this season.
Not so fast, So dak Prescott torn hamstring. Potentially, according
to the MRI, he might end up on the IR

And this is really where the entirety of the Cowboys
House of Cards starts to collapse. If you remember or
last season, the Cowboys decided to make a not a
blockbuster move in ways that you know is lining people
around the corner. It's more of a blockbuster move as
in the old rental store, because that's what a lot
of people felt that the exact same excitement for it.

When they traded a pick for Trey Lance from the
San Francisco forty nine ers. If you remember Kyle Shanahan
of the forty nine ers were excited they traded up
to get Lance out of North Dakota State top five pick.
Doesn't seem to be working out in the Bay Area.
Let's come to Dallas. We'll see what's happening over here. Yeah,
he's not even on the depth chart as a number
two quarterback. That's still Cooper Rush. So Rush looks to

be the guy who is going to be in the
driver's seat and will be the starting quarterback this Sunday
when the when the Cowboys take on the Philadelphia Eagles.
I would be very concerned if I was a Cowboys fan.
I would be very concerned if I was a Cowboys
fan who bet the over on their total wins, because
this is one of those type of moves that people

were already saying Cowboys should be sellers at the trade deadline.
This would make all of the sense of the world
to me. If the Cowboys decide to clean shop, whether
that be get rid of Mike McCarthy, whether that be
trade Cede Lammer, Michael Parsons at the deadline to a
contending team, maybe bring back a couple more picks. Whatever
happens from this point on, the Cowboys season kind of

feels like it's over before it even started. And other
news coming out of the NFL, the New Orleans Saints
decided to get rid of their head coach, Dennis Allen.
A little bit of a tidbit here, Dennis Allen was
the or was a coach for the Raiders when yeah,
Derek Carr was over there, So now Derek Carr potentially
gets his gets Dennis Allen fired again, this time in

New Orleans, and former All Pro wide receiver Michael Thomas,
who is not the biggest fan of Derek Carr online
yesterday but again an entire tweet thread about how this
was his problem. This was a Derek Carr issue, not
a Dennis Allen issue. But again, the Saints in a

similar position as the Dallas Cowboys, looking to potentially clean house,
whether that be get rid of Derek Carr, whether that
be now getting rid of their head coach. Either way,
two teams that a lot of people had high expectations
and high hopes for this season, both completely crashing and

tough outcomes, we got to start here with the Texas
A and m fighting Agies over the weekend. The Aggies
a top ten team in the country making all the
type of jokes in the world about how they were
at the top of the SEC, that this is what
you know fans were expecting. And you got to give

not think the hire was going to be as good

as it was, and he has proven to be a
very good coach for Texas A and M. However, a
good coach can coach their teammate at home, a great
coach can bring that show on the road. And Texas
A and M completely left their offense in the locker
room in the second half end up losing forty four
to twenty to the game Cocks. They rush the field,

the fans storm the field, and any time you're a
top ten team in the country, and especially in the
SEC where you're looking at you know, maybe two, three,
four potential teams getting in the playoffs, when you get

might end up in the college football playoffs. It's a
unanimous number one team. It's the Oregon Ducks, who beat
the defended champions on their field. They go to the
Big House, they win big thirty eight to seventeen against
the Michigan Wolverines on Saturday, and Oregon is now your
unanimous number one team in the country, which is a

head scratcher to me because the only reason I say
this is because before the season, I think most people
were pointing their finger at the SEC to have the
most teams in the playoffs. Now it's looking more and
more because the SEC, like a lot of us projected,
was going to cannibalize itself. It's looking now that the
Big Ten potentially could get the most teams in the

college football playoffs. We will know more tomorrow. Yeah, it's
Election Day. But also what's going to take up your
Twitter feeds, it's going to take up your social media
feed is fan bases foaming at the mouth as the
first college football playoff rankings come out tomorrow night. That's correct,
tomorrow night. Now, right now, the Texas Longhorns and the

eight people number five. All the projections according to CBS
to other places are pointing to the Longhorns being again
right around that number five, sixth spot, Top four teams
get that by. The Longhorns want to be the SEC champion,
if not only to get that by, but also you know,
first year in the SEC eight, you know, feeling pretty

good after a playoff appearance last year. There's a lot
of moment hum going for Texas. It starts though one
or you gotta go one to know this week against
the Florida Gators, who are gonna be out without their
starting quarterback. Even without the starting quarterback, this is a
team that is very heavy on the defensive side of
the ball. They held the Georgia Bulldogs to thirty four

points a couple of garbage shutdowns in the back end
of it. It was a tight game throughout. At halftime
it was thirteen to six Florida. That's right. So I
go out and say this, if Florida plays defense as
well as they did on that Saturday, this Saturday Ian Austin,
it is going to be a grinded out type of game.
