Speaker 1 (00:00):
Inconceivable, inconceivable, inconceivable, inconceivable. I don't think of miss what
do you think of miss well? Inconceivable. You know, it
doesn't take a break even for the holidays, so we
don't have as much. Maybe, you know, I could be
wrong about that. Maybe it takes less of a break

(00:23):
because of the holidays because the offerings were a little
bit more quiet today. But we can still get you
some first of all, your junk food fast food update
for you. You know, the holiday time of year produces lots
of snacks and treats and things like that, and the
Little Debbie Company is no exception to that rule. In fact,

(00:47):
I think my wife bought we've had the Christmas tree cakes,
you know, those had the little Christmas tree cakes. And
then she got the Cherry Cordials the other day, those
ones that are chocolate an outs that's kind of cake
in the middle and it has like at the cherry
icing and the milia. So they had that. But now
grocery stores kicking off this holidays by letting you go

(01:10):
this is so perfect. Here we are three days from
Christmas and they're already lining up for Valentine's treats. Little
Debbie is launching its Valentines Day treat lineup. They have
a new addition they have Valentine Mini muffins as well,
and that they say they're looking forward to the return

(01:31):
of the Cherry Cordials. But like I said, they're already
out at Christmas time too. They were doing that as
well as you know, you could go with them at
Valentine's all right. A couple other things if you're a
fan of the movie A Christmas Story, you know the one,
you know, the Yellow House and the whole bit and

(01:53):
the bb gun and everything like that, you know Ralfie
and the Spectacles and all that kind of the nineteen
eighty three film. Well, a Navy veteran bought the house
sight unseen on eBay back in two thousand and four
for one hundred and fifty thousand dollars. Two years later,
after an extensive renovation that restored many of the details

(02:15):
seen in the film, the House from A Christmas Story
open to the public for tours. So under new ownership
in the last year, the house today has like an
entire homage the entire block to the film. Next door
is known as the Bumpus House, named for the dog
owning neighbors in the movie. The Street is a museum

(02:37):
brimming with the film memorabilia and all that kind of thing,
and it draws about thirty thousand visitors a year, and
many more people have lined up for it as well.
Now you can spend Christmas Eve at the house if
you want coste dollars for twenty five hundred bucks, you

(03:02):
can spend the night on Christmas Eve at the house
for Christmas story. So if you got the disposable cash
and you want to go that way, okay, good for you.
We've worried about drones right lately. When controlled and properly executed,

(03:24):
they look great. But if they're not all operated correctly,
bad things can happen. That's when it happened. In an
Orlando holiday show, Dazzling Festive Spectacle ended an injury to
a seven year old boy. Several drones unexpectedly fell from
the sky during the show. A few minutes into it,

(03:44):
multiple systems began dropping to the crowd. The boy was
hit by one of the falling drones. Sent to an
area hospital, he underwent open heart surgery. The outlet that
he was hit with the drone hit him in the
chest and it was said that everyone's natural instinct was
to duck and scatter, and then all of a sudden

(04:08):
it was coming right down on him. So they're hoping
he'll be all right. They've started to go fundme page
on that. But if we're going to do drone shows,
let's have it under control. Can we something like that? Okay,
here's another thing about the holidays. If you're wanting romance
and the holidays, be careful where you decide to have

(04:28):
your romance. And I'm just talking about just a regular relationship.
You see, holiday romances are the stuff, as we know
at this time of year, especially with the rom comms
and everything and all that sort of stuff. But not
for eighteen year old Marcus Kana, who is facing a
one year prison sentence for his summer fleeing. The construction
apprentice from London was on a holiday with his family

(04:50):
in Dubai in September. He met a fellow British teenager
at his hotel and began in a romantic relationship that
did become sexual the player. The pair plan to continue
their connection in London. When he returned to the United Kingdom,
her mother discovered the relationship reported him to the police.
In Dubai and he was detained and now looking at

(05:12):
a one year prison but they're trying to see if
they can work out of that. So that's that's under
unfortunate as well. And finally, we've talked about Chris collins
Worth on the show Lot and of course he was
working in the Sunday Night game with the Cowboys and
Tampa Bay last night. And Chris collins Worth can be

(05:32):
an acquired taste and a lot of people feel he's
also captain obvious. I'm one of those at from time
to time. But he's actually not a bad guy. He's
not a bad guy and not a bad analyst. But
he apparently took the step to mimic Dak Prescott's call,
the uh here we go call, you know, the one
here we go before it snapped. Well, Cooper Rushed does

(05:55):
a similar one, it's not quite as loud and all
that kind of stuff, and collins Worth starting doing it
and all this there's been a flood on social media
of fans and others saying fire collins words, don't ever
do that again, no more here we go. So there's
your here we go, and there's your uh, there's your inconceivable.

(06:15):
For Monday, we'll be back to wrap up Hour number
one coming up on Sports Radio AM thirteen under the Zone.
