extremely highly rated, Jordan Travis.I loved that Jordan Travis pick. The

in December of twenty twenty three whereyou would have thought Jordan Travis was the
greatest quarterback in college football history,not because of his play on the field,
but because of every College Football PlayoffCommittee member telling us why else a
different team without Jordan Travis. FloridaState's good. Without Jordan Travis. You
would have thought he played all twentytwo positions on the field because of the

impact they showed. So Jordan Travisis a quarterback who has a good career
but it didn't end the way hewanted to end, suffers an injury,
has to come back, and isperceived to be the most important player on
a team. I mean a lotof those descriptions I just had there are
Aaron Rodgers and Jordan Travis is probablythe perfect quarterback for the Jets to have

on the roster because they've got thebackup in Taylor, they've got the veteran
in Rodgers, and you and Isaid this going into last week, going
to the draft, They're likely goingto take a cheap, late round flyer
on a rookie who's gonna sometimes suitup, sometimes not suit up. So
they take Jordan Travis because he's agood player for Florida State, but he
suffers an injury that ended his season. Now they can basically do what the

Lions did with Hendon Hooker. Ifyou remember Hendon Hooker the season before,
Hendon Hooker was one of the bestquarterbacks in the country. He finished fourth
in the Heisman I voted for himsecond, led Tennessee to the number one
ranking in the country. He's abouttwo weeks away from the Bowl game and
all the most part games tears upthe lower part of his body, done
lines taking in the third round,doesn't sniff the field this year, there

is no I mean, you don'tknow if he sniffed it, they didn't
get on the field this year.There's no threat of Jordan Travis taking out
Rogers' spot or Taylor's spot, Andthere might not even be a threat of
Travis suiting up for some games.But it's a reasonable pick. I thought
it was a very smart play bythe Jets to find out what they got
in Jordan Travis. And you canuse him as a developmental guy. If

he's in can't body, you know, name your term, that means he's
not threatening your starting quarterback. Butat the same time, if he happens
to develop into something great like that'skind of where we're at because because as
of right now, like you said, you got Rogers, you got Taylor,
you got Travis. That's your quarterbackroom for the Jets at all.

Shocked the Giants didn't get a quarterbackin the draft. Daniel Jones, Drew
locked Tommy DeVito is their quarterback room. Yeah, it felt like Rattlers.
He fell further and further down thateventually New York was gonna look at that
and be like, Okay, weall know Spencer Ratler's better than Tommy DeVito.
Right, Let's just make the change, right now, Let's make the
change. Joe Milton. Joe Miltonwent to the Patriots to believe in the

sixth round. Joe Milton did nothave a very good college career. But
Joe Milton's the guy who can throwthe ball seventy yards. If we put
shirts and shorts on all the quarterbacks, most people would take Milton for the
first pick. If we're playing sevenon seven, there's your quarterback, Joe
Milton. But we're not. Soyeah, I am surprised that the Giants
did not take a quarterback. Atsome point, I get not going to
the second or third round, andso it's Daniel Jones's team. They think

he's the guy. They must haveloved Dre and there we go. You
know what, I just stopped myselfright there. They were so obsessed with
Drake May that they said, oh, we need Drake May so badly.
We need him, you know what, We love him so much. We
don't want a quarterback anymore. It'seither Drake nobody. Like I find it
hard to believe that the Giants neededa quarterback that desperately and then said we
don't need one anymore. I don'tknow if I believe the talk of the

Drake may aggressive at the top afterthe results of the draft. Who again,
it's just to have that extra quarterbackin the room. Like the Bills
didn't pick a quarterback that yeah,you got Josh Allen, you got Mitchell,
you got all that stuff for theGiants don't do it made no sense
to me. Like what the Jetssaid, you summed it up really well.

Let you selfish for a minute.What's worse that that the Giants didn't
sign a quarter or draft quarterback orthe Raiders didn't draft a quarterback. Because
I remember the Raiders room was anO'Connell and Gardner Minshew. It's now an
O'Connell, Gardner Minshew, Anthony Brownjunior who out of Oregon, and free

agent non drave free agent Carter Bradleyfrom I'll t Alabama. Ew. The
answer is the Raiders, okay now, Gardner Minshew has a lot more on
tape, as the coaches like tosay, than A and O'Connell. It's
all good though, No it's notnow that there's been times where Gardner Minshe
has probably been talking about an averagequarterback in above average. Then there's been

other times where like, oh,that's why he's a career backup. I
know, off come on the air, whether it's Sundays when you're at Rivers
Casino Resort or now, it'd belike, hey, why is that Gardner
Minshew a starter? He feels likehe's quarterback number thirty three in the league,
and then he'd have terrible games.So we find out the answer is
your Raiders. The Raiders are goingto enter the twenty twenty four NFL season
with the worst quarterback room. That'sworse than the Giants. I thought by

last week that was gonna flip.That is worse than the Giants. Do
you know? You know, damnwell, that Farva is gonna take over.
It's gonna be fine, you knowthe hill. Well, the only
reason it's worse than the Giants isbecause Tommy DeVito is a third stringer is
better than the third and fourth stringerfor the Raiders, because I've seen more
Tommy the other two. Oh,we don't know that, I mean,
we don't know that. I wouldfeel safe to say he's better than the
two for the rim, both ofthem, but together. Yes, I

or not. I think you knowme. I'm a big ad O'Connell guy.

fact that they didn't make a bigmove. Obviously it was it would have

Jayden Daels, But the fact that, wow, the ghost of a no
conna your body is I need atwo leter coke. The fact that that
didn't happen, I think it's justI think they're after I think they like
an O'Connell. I think Gardner minshewas there to help keep him along.

But I think Am O'Connell is goingto be the starting quarterback again. And
you said that before the Raider preseasonstarted last year. It's not just Levec
watched though Conna thought, oh,I think he's gonna That was your big
take from the summer that said Amno conna will be a starting quarterback.
He played a long time practice.Yeah, yeah, played a long time.
You saw what he was doing inpractice. He had a fantastic preseason.
He did everything you do when you'rea late round pick, sometimes even

undrafted, of prove it in thepreseason and see if you can play.
He did that, and that's whyhe's in the conversation of who is going
to be Q being one for theVegas Raiders in the season rolls around.
Let me ask you this whide rangingquestion. We've talked a lot of quarterbacks
here, we're talking about guys whowent on Day two or Day three.
This sounds like a very simple question. Maybe the answer will be simple when

we look at the New York teams. You already mentioned the Giants, the
Giants, the Jets, the Bills. We've talked about all these teams.
Now after the NFL Draft is nowcompleted, rosters are pretty big. Can
we say all three New York teamsdid get better? Like they found roster
spots to fill a lot of themlost veterans, especially the Bills. Looking

at what they did across the boardfor all three New York teams might sound
too simple and too easy. Didall three teams get better after the draft?
All right, let's dot's let's let'sdo it. Let's let's look at
him. What do you want tostart with. Let's start with the New
York Jets. All right, NewYork Jets. Yes, they got better.
Foreshado is a heck of a tackle. Any chance you have protecting your

guy, that's your guy. Ido like that you had a depth at
wide receiver, depth at running back, a lot of depth running back.
I would have liked to have seenmore line, more line, but I
think you did get better. Maybenot as much you could have, but
you did get better. Totally agree. I think the Jets got better.

The one name to look out foris Allen in the backfield, because he's
a fourth rounder. I believe hejust I'm shocked he went that loan.
It feels like it's just more aboutthe position because he's only twenty. I
think I'm gonna double check that.But I believe Braylen Allen's might even be
nineteen. He's one of these guyswho reclassified, and then when he reclassified,

I don't think it came in asa running So they went from hey,
let's sign a really old Dalvin Cookwho's banged up and didn't produce for
us too. Let's find the youngestof running back possible, so that if
he doesn't get carries, he'll bejust fine. And I don't think he
got that many carries at Wisconsin.So he is twenty, he is twenty
years old. He just turned twentyin January. He played the season at

nineteen Levac nineteen years old. Now, he did get six hundred carries in
college. He uh is a bigback. His one thousand yards is a
true freshman joining Ron Daine, JamesWhite, and Jonathan Taylor. Is the
only other freshman Wisconsin to do that. Pretty good company. Yeah, he
did that when he was seventeen andeighteen years old. It's pretty good.

And again we like the we likethe quarterback pick. So all all good,
All right, we're going let's dothe Giants the g men. I
like Molik Neighbors a lot. Iknow the knock on Elik Neighbors is going
to be whether or not you thinkDaniel Jones can can be a winning quarterback
this year. I think if he'shealthy, having neighbors and other weapons,

now I think he's got a chanceto do a little something. So they
got better. I'm just not surehow much better. I can't believe we
agree back to back times. Thisfeels like a very small margin of better.
Now, did the Giants get trappeda little bit by free agency?
Did they think Saquon Barkley was gonnacome back? Did the Daniel Jones deal

hurt him that they couldn't be asaggressive They signed an offensive lineman Andrew Thomas
to a deal before last year's trainingcamp. Evan Neil hasn't worked out as
well as they'd hoped. They didget a little bit better. This one
for the Giants feels like we shouldre ask that question in August. Look,
when the preseason kicks off, whencamp's going on, this feels like

a team that someone rained him cansteal a roster spot from and I'll be
like, oh, who's that now? Our guys, who are it?
Picks one on six? Quin can'tThey're gonna probably have an interview with Johns
Schmelkin. Maybe we will have himon the show again as well. If
who is this random like seventy fiveplaying defensive back, that's tearing it the
old Victor Cruz day. There's numberthree out there that feels like with the
Giants, So that one's tougher thanthe Jets. Yeah. Well, and

also I think we've I think we'veforgotten how much we've always trusted Brian Dable.
He had a bad year. Doesthat mean he's a bad coach now?
I don't think so. So Ithink these moves will work well for
him. He'll find a way touse them and use them appropriately. The
Buffalo Bills, I think they hada really solid draft. I think they
did really well. I love KeonColeman. You traded back, you added

more pieces. You had to cutbait with a lot of your talent,
especially on the defensive side of theball. So you bring in safety Cole
Bishop, You bring in defensive tackleDwayne Carter. You get a running back,
you get a center, you getlinebackers, edge rushers. You had
a lot of holes. Now yougot a lot of filler. Ten players

were drafted by the buff Bills.Ted. What if all Ted make the
roster. You know you had tomanipulate the salary cap in some way to
find contributors. He knew, asyou said, Levac, you had to
fill holes. You are gonna seea lot of these guys either be on
the fifty three men compete in trainingcamp for a spot special teams contributor.

The Bills knew they had to replacea lot of veterans who went out and
got paid or thought they should bepaid more, have a bigger role.
There's been a different variations of what'shappened in Buffalo. This is a great
test to find out how good BrandonBean is. Brandon Bean has not been
questioned a lot out in Western NewYork at times with talent. Sure,
Sean mcdermot's been questioned about leadership,play calling it so all coaches get that

leadership, more so for McDermott.But this is a draft. You look
at those players they bring in.Wonder, Okay, what is Brandon Bean
seeing. We both like Kean Coleman. But then all of a sudden the
seventh round, we're like, we'regonna take a wild player from England.
All right, We're gonna take arugby guy and see what he can do.
We're gonna take an edge rusher fromTroy. Throw them out there,
see what he can do. I'mnot even trying to make light of this,

but seriously, one of the wildeststories of the NFL drafts. I
believe Ray Davis was raised in aFoster home. I believe Ray Davis like
worked his way up through a differentschool system and he became a player to
Kentucky. The background story on therunning back they drafted out of the fourth
round is very Josh Jacobs like ofthe underdog story of Ray Davis, where

people want to see him get somecarries. So Buffalo's got some fighters,
some mentality. If we get anopportunity to go out to Rochester at saintohn
Fisher, I believe they have oneyear left out there, that is going
to be a fight in camp.Maybe not physical fights, but there's gonna
be about seventy five guys who reallytruly have a shot to make that right.
That is gonna make that team better. But how intense that cam is

gonna be? And a fight onthe ride home after those garbage plays.
