Sports ninety nine. Ah, yes, my friend, so Happy Homepday,
Happy Wednesday, everybody. I stillgot a little bit of a horse voice,
as you've probably heard here Live WellGods Is Live with the GT Toy
Studios Toy with the Zee. I'mover at MVP Arena getting ready for the
(00:23):
Monday night football that we're gonna behaving here be guys, before we talk
about the tonight's Yankees game, andbefore I'm sure you make more fun of
me for all the heartbreak that I'vebeen incurring in my most recent run on
the Play of the Day. Doyou know this time yesterday? I'm I'm
(00:46):
forced to believe that as one ofour most listened to and downloaded segments since
we've been back on the air justover a year. Now, can you
see yesterday five o'clock, third hourof the show? What kind of true?
What that did? Like? Dida lot of people listen to that?
Download that? Can we see that? Yes? Yes, they did?
(01:07):
Love that. I actually was lookingat this is useloaded some of the
podcasts from hour number one an hournumber two of like Where's that line coming.
Oh yes, if you missed it, we'll talk about it more.
But please go back and listen toyesterday's five o'clock our hour number three.
It's you know what, I'd ratheryou didn't, I'd rather you did.
It is the highest listen to individualsegment of the last ninety days, so
(01:30):
the last three months, and thatday alone, our twenty four hour downloads
have not come through because this siteis not based on the East coast.
That is the most downloaded show segmentof the last thirty days. So I
know that got a little confusing,Like our number three of yesterday, Yeah,
our number three, go ahead. You curious how I knew that that
(01:53):
was one of the most listened todownloaded segments. Yeah, I am a
little concerned because it was the segmentyou talking and in the actual hour,
all the numbers were so good. How do you know that? Because my
phone was erupting all evening long, whether it be my d m's or tweets,
(02:21):
texts, whatever, and it wasI would love to tell you it
was an even mixture of concern andsarcasm and abuse, but it was a
lot less concern for my physical wellbeingand a lot of people mocking me for
admitting to passing out at the doctor'soffice because they were taking blood. I
(02:44):
don't I don't understand how everybody justassumes I'm a big wimp and it was
the needle that put me down. There was something wrong, like something happened
and I passed out, Like, but I got all night, all night.
My friend Laurie, who I've knownsince school's just sweetheart, except for
she's an Ohio State fan, sowe don't we stopped being friends for that
(03:05):
reason. She's like, I justneed you to put a warning on your
show from here on out if youare going to a make your friends nervous
by talking about passing out the doctor'soffice and then b make me almost cut
my finger off because I couldn't stoplaughing when you didn't know whether or not
you crapped yourself. You got toput a warning on that before you put
(03:27):
that out there. Yeah. Ourgirl, Lindsey, Our girl Lindsay,
who is a sweetheart. I thoughtshe was, thought she was one of
my good good friends. Just textme over and over. I think it
was twenty text Jeffy poopy himself questionmark over and over and over and over.
So yeah, that's how I waspretty sure. It was a pretty
listened to segment. Guys. Youknow what we'll do right now, Levac.
(03:49):
Let's share that segment on WOFX ninetyTwitter account and maybe this weekend we'll
share it on Facebook. Did youhear our guy Levac passed out earlier this
week? In case you missed it, listen to back and guys, I
want to be very clear. Idid not poop myself. Okay, can
we just and and you know what, it was a real fear at the
(04:13):
moment. It was and I thinkthe bravery that I showed to other incontinent
Americans to talk about that and I'mnot in continent. My old ring is
solid, my friends. Okay,I just want to be clear. But
when I when I woke up,because again if you didn't hear it,
the the I just and it's amazing. It's like this little nick on the
(04:34):
back of my hand. But thethere was like a pain to it that
I didn't expect, and I justI felt the room go away. And
then when I woke up to thenurses, I know, I'm sorry lab
Tech nurse, I don't know.I don't want to sell short how how
hard they've worked. It was thereceptionist, so I believe was also a
(04:54):
nurse, and one of the labtechs like screaming my name to wake me
up. And then God bless allthe peace people in the waiting room who
pretended they didn't know that my fatasses passed out. Uh Like in the
next room, they just they likelooked about their business, stared at their
phones. But then when I like, when I woke up, when I
came to I'm like, I like, I know my own beef. I've
(05:15):
hearted, Like that's me. Idid that. I did that and it's
bad. And I'm like sitting theregoing to my son, like, listen,
I was unconscious, Like there's achance I like one got past the
goalie. That's all I was thinking. I was like, when I stand
up, I got to make surewe're good to go here, you know
how? And uh and I was, and I was, but I was
just you know, it was moreabout the other people. I wasn't.
You know, listen there you hadto go, you to go. But
(05:35):
I just I thought I was verybrave to tell that story publicly. You
are brave, well back, Yes, it's been shared, it's been listening
to people have reached out and justto confirm one more time you have ever
gotten okay, yeah, probably itwas probably morning actually, but you're fully
recovered. You've not almost passed outagain. You have your things that you
need to stay away. It almostdid drop less. So once it happened.
(05:59):
Yeah, I was clean the houseand I almost dropped. It was
bad. I think I was dehydrated. I think it's with the with all
the end of his to me andstuff I'm taking. I said I wasn't
drinking enough Faughner, and I thinkI'm just I was dehydrated. I feel
great today, feel great. Idid not put myself that time either.
Just we're clear, all right, good, stay hydrated. I don't need
you passing out again for the executiveshow. I'm worried that you're going to
(06:20):
pass out. But you're good,You're good. I will I will say
this, okay, out of outlike friendsheck, like, if you ever
want to find out which one ofyour friends really care about, you tell
an embarrassing story like the one Itold yesterday, which again I thought I
thought me you know, kind ofkind of like let's get these conversations out
in public you know, people, people sometimes pass out, Okay, people
(06:43):
sometimes uh fart and then and peoplesometimes, I guess, do you poop
themselves? I did two of thethree yesterday. Okay. That happened in
front of women that I don't knowand probably will never get to know.
I don't know why I'm single, but I have some evidence that could persuade
me to believe that there's argument. So I was brave. Tell your friends
that story. And their reaction letsyou know how much they actually like you.
(07:03):
So like like Guz got excited becausehe knew it was gonna be it
was gonna be popular on the radio. So Gods is as long as I
die in a way that that getsratings, God's is gonna be happy.
Coach where just lost? He fellout? He couldn't. There was no
where you okay, there's none.He just he just felt this. The
two of us are tied together inchampionships and hard work, and I thought
(07:27):
we were family and uh and hejust he fell out laughing. Mike Corda,
who I expected to mock me rightaway, and you okay, I'm
like, yeah, I'm good. Then fell out laughing. And then how
about Boston, Dan texting gods todayto go. You didn't realize Lavact looked
like he passed out until five inthe afternoon. You were with Levac from
two until five before you noticed anything. I was like, you know what,
(07:50):
guzz and and coach, where youguys are? Paul Barris? Now
you I want you to be forcedto carry my fat ass when I go.
That's that. That's your punishment.Thank you. I think I'm happier
with I mean, what a daylike. I'm just telling you. You
(08:11):
think you think you got everything figuredout. You're like, oh, get
the doctors appointment done, I'll goabout some stuff. Just Daniel, check
out. Look at me being healthy. Doc's thrilled, lost some weight.
And then you know, you drop, You drop like a stone. And
here we are, and here weare being mocked about it. Guys,
Hey, you want to you wantto previe the Yankees to talk more about
my uh my, my my,my phantom bowel movement. Uh I guess
(08:33):
we could talk about the Yankees. We could prefew it. I had a
few more minutes left, I'd liketo do all that. No, no,
no, I'm just kidding. I'mjust let's get it over with and
let's never talk about it again. And if you think I'm going back any
sign anytime soon to fish that bloodworker out of your mind, I'll just
say, well, I'm actually hopingfor employees to train change over like I
want. I'm like call my docand be like, doc, can we
(08:54):
you let me know when there's newlaptecks. Can't go back gets Joe my
face? Uh? One thing beforethe preview times. I just want to
hit on this one more time.Justin Verlander's done? Right? Are we
all good with Verlander being toast? He looked like it. I mean,
I know we talked about this earlier, but he did not. He did
(09:15):
not look at anything like Justin Verlanderlast night at all. I mean,
but again, no father times undefeated. What's Verlander now, seventy five years
old? Yes, he's he's ina hurry to get home to h to
his girlfriend. There was gate upto nothing. Yeah, so you know,
listen, there's worse lives for youJustin. You know, collect that
(09:37):
check for another year and then andthen just go spend time with your beautiful
woman. I mean you could youcould definitely do worse, sir. Justin
Verlander seven years ago, could haveretired after he won the al MVP,
after he won the World Series. That could have been it seven years ago.
He's forty one years old, buthe's like seven more seasons going to
(09:58):
Coopers tent all that StuffYeah, let'slet's again. I don't want to rehash
every let's not let's not do it, let's preach. I just want to
get that out there. Well,I know we covered that earlier after Spotify
there, Okay, it's attack.That's that's why he's that's why he's not
good right now? When when whenyou preview tonight's game, the Wednesday game,
what is the storyline that jumps outto you in the most I just
(10:20):
I heard someone trying to make anargument today at the barbershop that it's not
as fulfilling beating Houston because they're notgood. And I almost I almost jumped
out of the chair. I say, are you in your mind? It's
always good to be Houston. Ilove that they sucked tonight. It's all
about Carlos Roddan. Can he canwe get can we get that dominant Carlos
(10:41):
Roddan? It was it arraghetty. That's how I say the guy's name Raghetty
from the the Arraghetty Desert. Imean he's been he's been giving up batting
practice out there. He's got aneight to two seventy r A let's go
ahead and smoke this foe, butwhich means the exact obvious yesterday he unders
to come through. But uh,I just I think this is gonna be
(11:03):
I think this has the makings ofbeing a little bit of a of a
high scoring game and maybe a getright game for Carlos for Rona. That's
my goal if I'm mean, Iwant to get right game for Rodan where
he just goes out there and looksit looks really really good again, and
then I want I want to seeSono and for du Go and all I
want all the O's go off. That's what I want, as bad as
(11:24):
Houston is right now. I bythe way, I agree with you Rodan's
storyline. Is he going to startslowly but surely living up to that contract.
You and I talked about this afew weeks ago about is it a
bet signing by Brian Cashman? Again? Is it too early? Is it
still undecided? Because he had arough outing the other day. If you
say a few starts ago where it'slike, Okay, he had one bad
(11:46):
pitch. I think that was theVlad Guerrero junior game we talked about.
Or he's one pitch away from beinglooked at as a really good pitcher too.
Those are the outs you have toget to hit on Houston again here
tonight, Houston. Imagine they don'thave Alvarez and they don't have Tucker.
Tucker's been great for like the pasttwo weeks. Alvarez hits home runs.
You know, I like using theterm dinger. I'd like to see like
(12:09):
distance per home run for Alvarez thisseason. If you factored in all the
home runs that are been blasted byMajor League Baseball players, how far do
Alvarez's home runs go? Like,So, yeah, one dude with monster
power, one guy who's continue toproduce in Major League Baseball, and they're
the two best hitters right now forHouston. They did have them, they
have single digit wins right now. That's how bad Houston would be. So
(12:31):
Rodna has an opportunity to go outtonight, make the right pitches. He
knows who the dangerous hitters are.I give you Alvarez and Tucker you're able
to pitch around or pitch through, which is usually what most pitchers want to
do. Pitch through those guys. You gotta have a great outing tonight.
He could go six and a halfseven innings, allow less than three runs.
New York's offense can stay hot,and they can get out with another
(12:52):
win against Houston. That's what couldhappen. But if Rodan struggles against Alvarez
and Tucker one of the if Alvarezhits one six hundred feet and Tucker hits
what I believe would be like hissixth home run in the last less than
two weeks, then you and Icould come back tomorrow and be like,
you know, the criticism for Sevarinois that he would sweat and get all
worked up and get nervous in thesebig games. How about Rodin just gets
(13:16):
good hitters out like that has tobe the storyline for Rodin that if he's
gonna be tested by the best ofthe American League now in May, the
Yankees will hope he gets tested bythe best in September and October. This
is the moment where you've got reallygood hitters in the American League that those
battles in particular, hopefully will bethe boost that they need for the Yankees
to be Like, you know what, Rodin cannot just have an improved outing.
(13:39):
He can get the best players outeach time in a lot of faces,
even if the record doesn't reflect that. Those guys are both really good.
Yeah, I mean it's it's alittle too. It's a little too.
I can't I can't always tell whatRodain, we're gonna get. Like,
like you said, bad pitch here, he said, so he said
(14:01):
some good outings. They don't seemto like win that often with him on
the on the bump, but like, I yeah, go out there,
I like, I like, getpast best couple tough guys and you're on
your ways. Are we at thatpoint where Josel tuv is just done?
It's just over for him. We'renot scared many more because he is hitting
the ball, you know what,We're not scared about Tuove. No,
(14:22):
it feels like the whole thing's done. It feels like they had a really
good run Houston, maybe two yearslonger than most thought. The fact that
Houston did win a World Series iseven surprising to me. It felt like
the timing of the Houston World Serieschampionship should have been flipped around a little
bit. And it's like, okay, so Houston wins the one in twenty
(14:43):
seventeen, then they get the one. I want to say it's two thousand.
Gods, my mathet a fall offhere. I want to say it's
twenty twenty two. They got thesecond one where it's like they should have
gotten that World Series a little bitsooner, because that team in twenty twenty
two wasn't as good as the otherteams. But some would argue, well,
they didn't in that season. Gods, they cheated in the other seasons.
They probably should have. That's whatit was. They had a good
(15:05):
eight year run, an eight yearrun in baseball where they're the top team
in the American League. So altwo vegs done. Verlander's toast springer left
Correa left. Alvarez is really goodtalker like Dan, a great run.
It's over, it's done. They'renot as good as anymore. You got
it. You're giving up on onLTV a little too fast. But the
(15:26):
splits are still amazing. His homeversus away splits is there? Are we
sure the garbage can's done? Arewe sure he's got a three seventy average
at home two ninety On the road, he has a over one ops at
home zero point eight seven. Onthe road, he is substantially better ten
(15:52):
ten RBIs at home two on theroad five home runs at home two on
the road, he's substantially better athuston like some like and again, you
you know home cooking, you knowyour you know your park, all that
stuff. That's all all well good. That's like to have to be a
guy who has a history of cheatingand to have this still have such a
(16:15):
great split between home and the road. That's that's concerning at some level,
Right, you gotta still watch himand like, even if there's not there's
no way it's actually happening, you'restill gonna be like em might be cheating.
If he continues that pace, Ifhe continues it, it would be
the best season he's had since thosemid twenty ten seasons in twenty sixteen and
twenty seventeen where he finished as theMVP of the league and third in the
(16:40):
other season. So yeah, statisticallyhe's fine with those splits. Really again,
the difference is wild the Battle TV. Here's why I say he's toasted.
Okay, all those stats are great. So let's say he hits July
in the stink. What's used togonna do with him? Like, what's
the value of Jose l Tube Hejust turned thirty four this week in mid
(17:00):
May. If Houston finishes fourth inthe division, are they gonna be like,
you know what, Thank goodness,we had Jose al Tuva. If
we didn't have Jose al twov wouldbe still terrible. They're not gonna trade
them. I don't I don't knowif any teams are interested in having a
This is gonna sound like being alittle too critical of but true, like
a five foot six, thirty fouryear old infielder for a last place team.
(17:22):
Usually when you see deadline deals happen, it's for a pitcher. If
Houston is that bad in JUNI orJuly and they're sitting in last place,
this is how it always goes.Right, Like a last place team who
thought they could be a competitor orit is looking towards the future, would
deal their best players or most valuedplayers, which would be pictures. I
would rather trade for Alvarez and Tuckerthan Altuve. So sure, statistically he's
(17:45):
fine, but I don't want togroup them in with Mike troudof you put
of all stats you want in theworld. The value of Jose al Tuve
if you hit the market, it'snot great. I don't know. Well,
all right, let's let me letme do this to you, right,
let me ask you this. Let'ssay the Americanese standing stays the way
it is, and it's it's ait's an absolute battle between the Orioles,
(18:11):
the Yankees and staying right there isthe Boston Red Sox and the Boston Red
Sox. Look over at second base. This is the dude in the second
base right now, Von grism MaoValdez. Like they don't like they've got
They've got a bunch of dudes whodon't even hit their weight. You mean
to tell me they're not gonna throwsomething together, to throw a little you
know, bring bring him in.You know your manager knows them everything.
(18:34):
And I can see I can seeAl two having some serious value at the
trade deadline. Up he's available. Here's the problem, would Hadden with Al
two v how too? Let's changethe year. Okay, let's say the
years twenty twenty three, and thisis happening right now. Okay, Al
two Ve's betting three point thirty hishome and away Splitzer almost cheating level,
(18:55):
as you call it, trash canlevel, and Houston stinks. Okay,
let's say that was the scenario thatplayed out in twenty twenty three, and
we're just moving some stuff around whereit's like, all right, al Tuove
would be doe like twenty four totwenty five million in twenty twenty three,
and then the following year he'd bein the final year of his contract.
Problem is, Houston just resigned alTuove to a five year, one hundred
(19:17):
and twenty five million dollar contract. They signed it in a February. So
it's like, if you're Baltimore,if you're Tampa, if you're Cleveland,
if you're in Kansas City, youlook at a thirty four year old now
who's playing well, it'd be like, we're gonna pay a thirty four year
old one hundred and twenty five milliondollars. That's that. It seems.
Look he's playing well, but Houstonstinks. That's why the contract's so bizarre.
(19:37):
And I wouldn't touch him. Ilove all right, I'm looking at
I've just pulled out the contract. Here's the structure. Of the contract.
Would you pay thirty five year oldal twove in twenty twenty five thirty two
and a half million dollars? No, you wouldn't, even if he's hitting
three three over three hundred and everything. No, all right. The reason
(20:02):
I ask is the way the contractis structured. Thirty five, thirty six,
thirty seven. So twenty five, twenty six, twenty seven, he
makes thirty two and a half milliondollars a year, then it drops down
to twelve five, then it dropsdown to ten. This is against on
the luxury tax. It's it's twentyfive million every year. But this is
what your actual payroll is. Igotta tell you, man, if you
(20:23):
needed a middle infielder, I thinkyou're I think you're you're you're biased against
the Astros, which I am I'ma big fan of, is clouding your
judgment towards the little guy. Ithink the little guy's still got a lot
of there's a lot of meat lefton the bone. You know what your
Yankees can trade for all two Vthen my Orioles don't want him. I'm
(20:47):
saying, if you needed a middleinfielder, though, if it's coming down
to the wire and you think you'rea middle infielder. Away. You gotta
look at that. You gotta callHouston and be like, listen, I
know you just gave this guy aninsane deal, but what are you thinking?
Is there anything I don't know?And that's if and that's if Houston
doesn't think they have a plan tobounce back in the year or two and
he's gonna lead you through that, sell tickets until you can get ready.
(21:07):
I just it's always it's always interestingme because again, like we talked about
earlier, like Pete Alonso could couldalmost play himself out of New York and
or or playing pay himself into asituation where you know, he has nowherehere
to go because everybody hates his agentwere all toovey. If you know,
you got to ask yourself, isit can he play on the road if
(21:30):
he am either road? And ifthat would be the case, I might
have to take a look. Maybea little peak, little gander, little
something, Well some get him backin that five hour energy situation he used
to be in. We might beon something. But yeah, I just
I like that you dislike him morethan I do. I just it's just
I feel like some of my someof my evil and hatred has rubbed off
on you over the years. OselTV would need a car seat, just
(21:52):
like I have two car seats inmy Honda Pilot. Thanks to Baha con
Is it did. That was prettygood. Everybody, come on, I
almost didn't see it coming. LikeI was like, oh, he's short,
I get it. And then Iwas like, oh, yeah,
I get all. If you wanta new vehicle, mohawkan is the place
where you stop over to Glen Hill. Right there, all the renovations have

more information about that, check outMohawk kind of across social media platforms and
more. Love my pilot. Ialways tell it's the best vehicle of head
in my life. All right.Engineer Dave was in here talking to me
today. It's like, guys, what do you think about your pilot?
What do you think about the future. What are you're gonna do next?
Because I think, you know, maybe your wife will think about an odyssey.
(22:37):
I'm like, Dave, are youlistening to the show. Are you
Mohawk Honda. Yes, my wifetwenty twenty four, brand new Honesty.
She loves it. Hopefully your familyit's got those things that they need,

(22:57):

Mohawk Honda, where they always goout of their way to please you.
We've almost championship level stuff coming fromMohawk Conda, just like the Albany FireWolves.
Even though there's no action this weekend, we continue to have guests involving
the FireWolves staff and players and more. He is making our show debut.
(23:21):
Jackson Nichema joins us next here onFox Sports ninety five, nine and nine
eighty. It's Love, Ack andGuz on the Voice of the Capitol Regions
Sports Fan Fox Sports ninety five tonine and nine eighty. We are talking
about that championship feeling. The championshipround is here. The Albany FireWolves have
(23:41):
done it. They are playing foran NLL championship. We're gonna talk about
that game. We're gonna talk withthe season and more, but first we're
gonna look back on that semi finalvictory. Jacks Nishemora joins us here on
the phone lines. Jackson, firstof all, we're happy to have you.
It's your show debut where you're doingit the lead up to the championship.
Let's talk about the locker this withyour teammates last week. Let's do
it again. Take us into thelocker room when you guys celebrate that championship
(24:06):
semi final victory and punch your ticketto the title game. What was the
celebration like for you and your teammatesafter that victory. Uh? Yeah,
I think it's obviously a really nicefeeling in rewarding doing it into doing it
a good against a good team inSan Diego. I think we were just
really happy as a group and foreach other to get to that point.
(24:30):
But obviously, you know there's stillsome work to do, so it was
a quick celebration and then on tothe next there was this really cool moment
credit to the social media team thatyou and the teammates gave some love to
the hometown crowd a tip of thecap sticks in the air. What was
that moment like when you saw yourteammates and you guys around you giving love
(24:52):
to the firewell fans on the turfat MVP Arena. Yeah, it's it's
awesome. I mean, we loveplaying there, you know, especially after
the season that we had last yearnot doing so well. You know,
we had a lot of fans kindof stick through it really supporting us,
and then they've been awesome this year, so you know, we're we're really
(25:12):
appreciative for them and obviously thankful thatthey're there supporting us. So, you
know, we love it and wewouldn't be where we're at without without them,
obviously. So it's just a smallgesture that we like to do.
One of the wildest parts about yourcareer and Jackson you, Shad Moore joins
us here on the phone lines. The elevation ten thousand phone lines elevates your
(25:33):
brand today by elevation ten thousand,is that you're in this unique spot where
you lived through the transition from NewEngland to Albany. You've been a part
of this whole thing. You've seenthat you truly have seen the ups and
downs. You've seen the evolution ofchange and everything else. For you individually,
what have the past few years beenlike seeing this change in this franchise
and where you stand now in Maytwenty twenty four. Yeah, that's that's
(25:57):
a great question. And when youput it like that, I think it's
it's been a great journey. Youknow, a lot we moved the franchise
move obviously, but you know,a lot of the personnel was the same,
you know, the coaching staffs andthe management and then a core group
of guys. So you know,I'm just thankful to be a part of
(26:17):
it, you know, obviously, really enjoy playing with with this team and
this group that we have, andjust really happy for uh, you know,
our group and some of the guysthat have been here for a while
to you know, stick together andget to this point. It hasn't always
been the easiest, right especially lastyear, but you know, we've we've
stuck together. I think it's madeus stronger. So we're in a good
(26:41):
spot, uh now for this year. So really enjoying the journey and you
know, grateful to be a partof it. You've got those Canadian roots
as well, if I'm not mistaken. So many of your teammates have those
Canadian roots that go back. Theyhave all these different stories, have grown
up in Canada and playing lacrosse, similar to you, always a fan of
the sport from a young age inCanada. Yeah, Shir did young kind
(27:04):
of playing hockey and lacrosse and Iwas pretty young, so same story for
me. Crazy man, It's amazingto see the athletes that come through Canada
have this big impact here in thefive twenty and the Capitol region and more.
Is the Albany Firewalls prepping for theNNL finals. Jackson isitione more and
joins us here on the phone lineson Fox Sports ninety five, nine and
nine eighty Game one Friday May seventeenth, seven o'clock inside env pering again one
(27:29):
more time next Friday, May seventeenth. Get your tickets now. For more
information, the Albany Firewalls website, social media pages and more. Let's talk
about this Buffalo bandit squad you saw, I'm sure the crowd support and all
the action that happened in that semifinal victory for that franchise. When you
look at Buffalo, when you startscotting out what stands out to you on
this bandit roster. You know,we're we've played them a number of times,
(27:56):
you know, this year, inthe over the past couple years.
They obviously have a really great teamover there on the top to bottom.
You know, we're we're gonna haveto be ready, and I think we're
up to the challenge. I mean, they've got you know, a good
goalie, Gray d in the greatoffense. So it's, uh, it's
gonna be a challenge. But Ithink I think we're up board and we're
in a good spot and we're we'reready and excited to go, so we'll
(28:18):
be ready. It's gonna feel likealmost like the w w F Pro Wrestler
question. I'm gonna give you thatin game one, you're gonna be cheered
by your home fans, but youknow in game two, where potentially the
whole final, the championship could bedecided. In game two, you guys
are gonna get not just booed, but booed loudly. What motivates you more
the cheers or the boots. Ithink a bit of both. It's always
(28:45):
you know, it's Dawson when whenwe have our fans, so we probably
love that a little more. Atthe same time, the boozer are motivating,
you know when theme at the sametime, when the game starts and
you're in the thick of it.I think the most important thing for us
is is our team and being presidentwith with our team and focusing on what
we have to do as a group. So it's obviously cool and special environment
(29:07):
both ways, but I think Ithink we're focused on kind of staying president,
staying in the moment, and youknow, being together as a group.
One of the amazing parts about ateam that has success thro out of
season is then the individual awards come, the finalists are being announced. Your
teammates, Ty Kurtz, Alex Simmons, Doug Jamison all getting nominated for postseason
awards excuse me, regular season awardsto be handed out during the postseason.
(29:30):
Glenn Clark, the GM the headcoach, get his finalist nominations for those
awards as well. Is that thingthose things that you guys talk about in
the locker room are the goals? Is it even brought up, and what
is it like to see some ofyour coaches and teammates get those nominations for
end of season awards to be handedout. Yeah, I mean, we
couldn't be happier for those guys. You know. Ever, those guys are
(29:52):
so deserving. You know, obviouslytheir play speaks for for themselves, and
they've had unbelievable years and played bigparts and getting us to where we're at
now. So as a as agroup and a teammate, you know,
we're we're super happy for those guys. It's not something that you know,
in the individual wards aren't something thatI don't think guys are talking about too
(30:18):
much. It's a lot about theteam. But when it does happen and
guys on our team and our coachesand stuff like that are recognized, you
know, we couldn't be happier forthem because they're very deserving. Now,
as you prep for next Friday forgame one of the series, let's take
us to how you prep is itsong? Is it a certain meal?
(30:41):
What's the pregame go through for Jacksadyschimoreas he gets ready for playoff and championship
games? What do you do beforeevery game that gets you hugged for those
big time performances. Yeah, Itry and keep things relatively routine for myself.
I spent a lot of time withmy teammates, might burning my roommate,
(31:02):
So we try and do a lotof things leading up to it,
getting ourselves you know, good sleep, good food, hydrated, you know,
watching film and then obviously talking withthe group on what we need to
do on the d end in termsof in terms of game dayed somefing leading
me up, nothing too crazy, just just like to obviously get a good
night's rest before the shoot around,VI at the team, get some good
(31:23):
food and then when we're at thewhen we get to the rink, it's
all business. So uh no,no crazy, nothing crazy for me to
try and to keep keep doing theright things and let it play out.
He is Jackson Chimora. Don't forgethim and his teammates. We'll start in
the NL finals right here in theCapitol to Reagion next Friday night MVP Arena,

(34:00):
I want to start with your boy. I think, for the first
time ever, I I'm kind ofa Johnny Manziel fan, Donny Football.
Baby, It's it's weird though,it's a weird one. I don't and
I don't know if I'm really afan of his or maybe it's empty,
could be envy. I think I'mjealous of him for the first time ever.
(34:22):
Why is that? Why are youjealous of the great, the legend,
the Heisman Trophy winning j f FJohnny Football. I hate all those
things you just said. Have youseen who he's dating? Your boy?
Well, let's put it this way. If if they get married, this
(34:42):
is a wedding we have to crash. This is a wedding we have to
crash because in one place you wouldhave your boy, Johnny Manziel uncle.
What's his nuts? That that hitall the money for him and jose Canseco.
That's right, your boy, JohnnyManziel, Is it a me PDA
filled relationship with Josie Kenseko ose Canseco'ssmoking hot daughter? No? Is this
(35:07):
true? Where did you see this? Emz? TMZ does not miss?
Uh the reason I find this sowild. I also can't remember Johnny Manziel's
uncle's name, but I remember peoplejust called him the real life Turtle,
and that basically works from entourage.I don't think there's much difference than that
uncle from even though Turtle was afriend. So jose Canseeko's daughters. You
(35:30):
said is a model. Basically she'sa very good looking woman. It would
just seem too easy. No,she has a model basically about Oh yeah,
I was gonna say, like thisis almost too good for TMC.
There was almost like, all right, what can we do? Wait,
we can have Johnny Manzil date Kenseko'sdaughter. Of course we made this relationship.
(35:53):
I'm a little shocked that it's almostso easy to put together controversial athlete
with controversial athletes to get other thatlove is in the air. Levac.
You know what, I always toldyou a Manzel fan, even though the
Netflix thing was a little on andmade me rethink of his legacy overall and
what he's trying to do. ButJohnny Manziel binding love good for mister Manziel.
(36:16):
I am not a Johnny Manziel fan. I will never be a a
Johnny Manziel. I have zero interestin him day to day. But she
is a smoke show. And there'ssomething about jose Can Seco's life like like
like jose Can Sako and Johnny Manzelare both training racks. Like even you
have to admit that that you there'sa lot more rubber necking on the side
(36:39):
of the highway attention to Johnny Manzielnow than there ever was, you know,
well maybe not ever, but thenthere's been since he got out of
college. Like he's when he's incollege, he's amazing athletes, fun to
watch whatever. He never did anythingin the pros uh indoor what is it?
Fan coatrol football. He had acouple of minutes of of notoriety.
But this, this is something Ineed to see because jose Can Seko,
(37:02):
on the other hand, as crazyas he is, he hates Alex Rodriguez.
We have that in common. Heloves to the idea of searching for
sasquatches. I host an after evensports talk show with a sasquatch, Like,
we have so much in common. We have so much, and we
probably both find his daughter hot.But this, this is the relationship I
(37:23):
need to be a part of.I need, I need to be a
part of this. And it's soclear that it's all about attention because if
you go to TMZ Sports, there'sa video it's like thirty seconds of the
two make it out. She topshim, I think by one glance to
make sure the camera's on. Likeit's literally one of those ones where it's
like, is the camera on?Is the camera on? Made? Do
I look good? Is this gonnaget me more fame? Oh? I
(37:45):
know, I know, I loveyou, don't know I love you,
no, But I want to see. I want to make sure that I'm
getting I'm getting some fame out ofit. So all in all, just
amazing, amazing. I can't Iwant to. I hope these crazy kids
get married, I really do.There used to be a show. It
might still exist now too. Onthe Big Fox will call it that was
just called TMZ Sports. It ranfor like a half hour. They used
(38:06):
to air it after Major League Baseballplayoff games in late night, I believe
college football games on the PAC twelvewhere it was just like two reporters from
TMZ on zoom on Skype talking aboutathletes finding themselves in controversy and just playing
clips and Fox Sports one U staredthey must have like we got this.
This is great. So if thatshow still exists, there's your topic for
(38:30):
the next few months on TMZ Sports. That's the relationship to watch. It's
if those two crazy kids can't makeit work in this world, who can?
I mean really, who can?Guys? I don't know. I
don't think anybody. I don't thinkanybody. Uh speaking about contrarys and I've
got one of her if man zealAnd, the daughter of jose Canseco,
(38:52):
isn't wild enough. Have you seenthis video going viral involving the nature boy
Rick Flair? I have. Ifeel it's cringeworthy. It's definitely criadgeworthy.
It's so cringeworthy that it's about athree minute video and I couldn't even finish
it because I'm like, I thinkI got what I need here. I
think we all understand what's going onhere. If you haven't seen it,
(39:15):
I believe it's three and a halfmillion views that now has across social media
platforms, at least on Twitter. We're arguably one of the most famous professional
wrestlers of all time. Documentary's doneby him on now both NBC and ESPN
about the life and times of thelegendary partying habits of Rick Flair, the
Nature Boy, one of the greatsof all time. Well, Nate found
(39:37):
himself in trouble because it looks asif he was a bit overserved at a
local restaurant and the timing was probablyin the afternoon. Doesn't look like a
very packed crowd there where Nach hada few too many in the restaurant.
We'll say manager told him, enough'senough, we're cutting you off. Do
(39:57):
I need to even describe anymore? How do you think the video goes?
With Nature Boy Rick Flair drinking ona weekday in the afternoon, the bartender
telling him you can't have anymore.Whatever you think is the next reaction is
correct. I'm assuming you're thinking it'sright. It's like him yelling and screaming
and slearing his words and saying,I'll ruin this place. Don't you know
who I am? Babo. Allof that you think will happen happens in
(40:21):
the video. He's a little betterthan that because the one thing he does
that I that I appreciate, it'sand it's all, it's all, it's
all garbage, Like you can't like, dude, you gotta get out,
like you gotta like the part ofyour brain that that says aboart run.
You know you can't win this. There's you could right now tell everybody how
to split it at him, andyou're gonna sound too because you're drunk.
(40:44):
Like there's the the part though, that he he goes big. He offers
the bartender a thousand dollars tip.He repeatedly tells her, I'm gonna tip
you one thousand dollars because I hatethis guy, because you have to deal
with your boss. I mean totip you ones out. He just keeps
going back to it, and itwas just cracking me up because obviously,
(41:05):
like obviously that person is hoping thathe really does give her one thousand dollars
tip. He says, like, right down, I think it's on a
credit card. So she probably wouldnever get it anyway, but like she's
obviously hoping it happens. But atthe same time, she can't, like
she can't go against her boss,Like she has to sit there and be
like, no, no, sir, no, everything's fine. Just it's
okay. But so i'd kids say, guys, do I feel worse for
her? Or whoever it was thattried to write the closed captioning for Rick
(41:29):
Flair's speech, the close captioning guy, there is something right like the video
going viral. Somebody was sitting therelike, oh my god, I can't
believe what I'm watching right now.Rick Flair's at my restaurant. He's screaming
at my manager. He's just sittingthere filming the whole thing. So the
closed captioning person is the worst. These are these moments that I'm sure through
(41:50):
the life of Rick Flair, allthe years that he's lived, all the
partying that he's done, all thedrinking that he's done, He's like,
you know what, I'm pretty happythere wasn't a camera because people won't believe
these stories if I had everything filmedin the prime drinking days of Rick Flair
or partying days of Rick Flair, and I'm sure that goes for a lot
of people in general who have hadreally good times or maybe commdic, but
(42:12):
Nage probably forgot there was a cameraor could be filmed. If this is
the one positive of technologies, Idon't think he cares anymore, right,
I think he cares too much.Actually, because one thing Rick Flair has
done, and I'm sure you've noticedthis, I'll give credit to Mike Ryan
Ruiz from Metal Lark Beauty, whois the first to have this take.
(42:32):
Rick Flair's sports allegiances can easily bebought, like how many appearances has Rick
Flair done in anything? Hockey, football, basketball, baseball where it's like
nature boy Rick Flairs here and he'scheering on the home team. Rick Flair
doesn't seem to be a fan ofanybody unless they're paying him, so he
might be doing that more than anybodyelse besides Red pandas Wow, as the
(42:55):
longest it's been weeks, I thinkit's the longest in the history of the
Bad Guys. From the first timeyou mentioned Red Panda as the long as
you've gone will not be able towork her in, I guess I got
it. You fist pumped when yousaid it is I was so pumped.
Take that, Alexa, take that. You hear me in dr on Twitter
and Jack on Twitter. There's threeof you that hit me every single time
(43:16):
when Red Panda's coming. That's mygirl. Okay, that is my girl.
What is the obsession with Red Panda? What's the obsession with talent and
grace in wonder? Oh? I'msorry? Does she juggle bulls? Like?
Isn't that like her whole? Don'tdon't diminish the talent. I'm like,
I don't. I don't know.She gets she gets out there on
(43:37):
a unicycle and she's balancing bulls andmaking honestly magic. She does it all
everywhere from NBA Arenas I saw thatyou all but am met her. She
was wonderful. She took a selfiewith me. If you follow me on
Venmo, you see that's my picturewith her, me and Red Panda.
She is incredible. She's a talent. Now, those Red Panda haters,
(44:00):
we'll get back to nature. TheRed Panda haters say, get a new
gimmick, one trick pony. They'recalling Red Panda. Enough out of you
people. Let's see you get upon a unicycle. Let's say you just
balance plates. Wouldn't she be aone trick panda? Yeah, I guess
that would have been a better animalto use there. Red pan is a
(44:22):
gift in the sports world. RickFlair sells his allegiance and alliances with a
paycheck by paycheck, Red Panda's therefor us, the fans. Let's get
hurt a Firebird game. What's itgonna take to get Red Panda a Firebird
Game of the vac I have noidea how to get a hold of her
or how much he costs. Soif you find out how to get a
hold of her and how much hecosts, I'll do what I can.
(44:44):
If our guy Gris's listening right now, I don't know, it's possibly she
can't, so she's gonna have tobe out the a trim pre game free
game Panda. Well, then she'sgonna take less money. I mean,
I can't talk what a grip fromyou all, but I'm pretty sure he's
the one who booked her. I'mzero zero interest in actually getting that.
(45:08):
I have one other I have aclip here. I came with audio at
the end of the show. Whowould have thought, uh have you seen
this clip involving the Dodgers and theMarlins. How about this from last night's
Marlins Dodger game involving the Major LeagueNetwork broadcast. Don't take this the wrong
way, but we are already ano hitter alert Yoshinobu Yamamoto before he throws
(45:30):
a single pitch tonight against the Marlins. We have a no hitter alert.
Enjoy what could be a no hitterfrom Yamamoto, you know, jans wing
your first pitch right here on MLBNetwork for Harold see y I'm Greg.
We have a no hitter alert.Enjoy this game live on MLB Network.
(45:51):
It's in the Major League to establishhimself as that guy. Dodgers looking for
a six straight win and a thirteenthout of their last fifteen after they took
the first game six to three lastnight. Yeah, Momoto comes ho and
off we go and the aggressive Marlinsget a first pitch swing in a high
flying ball and a home run forJazz Chiz. I'm on the first pitch,
(46:14):
Ah, you can't even make thatup. Queue it. Send it
to the game. First pitch homerun, that's dude, that's I think
that might be the greatest jinks I'veever heard. That's amazing. Like Greg
amer Singer is the host there, yes, from that used League Baseball who
put the curse on God. I'mgonna write you a strongly worded email on
(46:37):
why I think we need the RedSox back, because I'm gonna call out
for no hitters every single game rightbefore the game starts. That's what I'm
gonna do. I'm all about it. This is my life now, this
is this is how that's how Ichoose to live. I'm all about this.
Early part of the baseball season, broadcasters, studio hosts, people quickly
(46:57):
calling out the jinxes. I knowearlier in the show we talked a little
bit quickly about the producer who botchedthe cutover between Game one and Game two
of the hockey game. I believeit was Evan Stocked in for the Syracuse
Mets who called back to back homeruns like this could be his pitch.
I believe there's another brought. Itmight have been actually Michael Kay who had
this happened to him earlier in theseason too, and now this added to
(47:17):
the list. This one's funnier becausethe level of snark that was involved here
to like, kind of right, yah to stick it to the Marlins because
they're not any good even though youwere a playoff team last season. And
the fact that it's the first pitch, the fact that he used a graphic
and didn't even like layer into thesarcasm, the fact that the production he
was involved in through the no hitteralert graphic up before the first pitch,
(47:40):
and then he goes deep, good, good for Miami, good for them,
sticking it to the haters. Ifyou're Yamamo, like, do you
go look for that dude real quick? Just like, Hey, what did
I do to you? What didI ever do to you? Why did
you put that out in the ether? Why did did you? Why did
you make that my life? Whatis your like? Do we have do
we have beef? Because it wedo? It's about these and you're going
(48:00):
down, So Greg would be GregAmsling, You're gonna be like, I
gave you credit. I thought youwere gonna give up no hits. I'm
sorry JINX to you. I thoughtyou're so good you wouldn't give up a
hit, let alone a home runon the first pitch. Oh, I
mean, that's that's impressive. Thatis overall that is. Like I said,
that is next level, over thetop. Just that's that's Jinks to
(48:23):
the extreme. I love it.I'm not mad about it. I'm really
not. I'm going forward from nowon our guy Tristan, who you might
hear his voice once in a whilehere on the show. He might be
the next voice of the dump. We're gonna have some maybe a sounder soon.
Maybe I could do like a flushednoise when you go from story to
story. You love that, dude, that's your that's your boys. He's
(48:44):
enjoying you. I think I thinkhe replaced that as your favorite. No,
No, I don't love back.I don't have favorites. I don't
have favorites. No. Junior isJunior is doing a Juniors in some ways
left us. When you think aboutthis, Junior won't be many of our
events going for Junior got a promotion. He's on wg WY now, he's
doing mornings. He's on morning radio. Junior has spread his wings and left
(49:09):
us here on Fox Sports. Yeahwell, yeah good. I'm actually better
off. I think we're better off. We're being real, you know,
just get move along, speak aboutmoving along. We have to move along.
We had about ninety seconds left.We got about you know, I'll
stretch it into two minutes. Don'tforget tonight. The New York Knicks coverage
(49:29):

where you go. And you're like, Okay, how do I keep this?
How do I not lose this totaxes? How do I how do
(50:37):
I how do I triple this?How do I quadriple this? I have
X amount of years until retirement?Do I need life insurance? Do I

walk through. You know how youcan get where you want to be?
Help you come up with a greatplan. And as we know, again
(50:57):
it's important that you realize this, there's no such thing as a sure thing
in the world of finance and buildingwealth, but it's pretty sure that if
you don't have a good plan, you're never gonna go where you could possibly
get to. PRESCOTTPW dot com fivepoint eight two zero three one nine eight

yourselves. I got Flock University tonight, guys. So we're gonna be over
(51:21):
at the war Room. My firsttime ever going there. I'm excited.
Uh So we'll do that and thenyou'll be able to hear it here on
Fox Sports on Saturday morning at nineam. I'll try to keep it swearing
to a minimum. And and that'sthat's that. Where you doing? Why
don't you come over? No,I can't. I'm very busy, got
very very very very busy things todo. All right, Well, I'll
