(00:05):
It's time for the Top four fourwith Levac and Goz have the four biggest
stories in the world of swarts. It is brought in by Boha Cota where
they always go out of their wayto please you, guys, what's the
fourth biggest story? Levac OTAs areunderway here in the NFL, and I
have to ask you if this isa big deal, a little deal,

(00:28):
or no deal at all? Involvementone of the best players at his position,
maybe a top twenty player in theNFL, and that's Minnesota Viking to
mind receiver Justin Jefferson. Jefferson notthere at the start of otias. There's
been talks of a potential contract extensioninvolving Minnesota. We've seen a lot of
wide receivers get paid. Remember Jeffersonalso missed all of the Vikings voluntary workouts

(00:52):
last year before he had to showup to mini camp. AJ Brown got
a big deal. Remember that JustinJefferson statistics one of the best wide receivers,
not just in the NFL, notjust offensively in twenty twenty three,
but levec we could talk about alltime great stats to start an NFL career.
Now, does that matter that theyplay seventeen regular season games and there's

(01:15):
more focus on the passing game.Don't try to be the agent. Okay,
you could either be the agent orhe could be the team. What
do you make of this big deal? Little deal, no deal at all?
No, justin Jefferson, I thinkit remains to be seen because that's
not an option. I'm making anoption and you'll do it. I'm gonna

(01:37):
explain why because if you remember, yeah, he didn't digital last year,
there was talk of being traded lastgame of the year. They caught his
face when it was the game wasended and he said, just send me
to Vegas already. Do you thinkhe meant to get ready for the Super
Bowl, like because he was workingin Vegas or something, or do you
think he wanted to be traded?Like I feel like you could fix this

(02:01):
relationship, but it's definitely broken. That's what I feel like. I feel
like if he and JJ McCarthy hitit off and he blows it up and
he's going crazy like he normally does, or Sam Darnold, even whoever,
it could be good. But Ithink right now he's looking at a quarterback
room or a rookie and a guywho hasn't made it yet, who is
potentially a first round bus and he'sprobably going, you know what, I'm

(02:22):
too good to waste a season withthese chumps. I would like to go
play somewhere with a better quarterback. It's also one of these scenarios where some
people won't cry. Oh, Ifeel so bad for Justin Jefferson who enters
the fifth year on his rookie contractwhere he's gonna make fully guaranteed nineteen point
eight million dollars. A lot ofwide receivers didn't make that in their entire

(02:45):
careers, but that point not maynot matter because your seed wide receivers get
sixty seventy eighty million dollars. Sohe can say, statistically, I'm better
than these guys. And to yourpoint, if I'm gonna hit a contract
year, you're gonna let me walkor I want to become a free agent.
Now you know what's gonna happen whenI have Sam Darnald and JJ McCarthy
throwing me the football. The statsthat they put up there are all time
great stats and not reflect that whenI need them the most. I would

(03:07):
say this is a little deal, though, if this was mini camp if
this was training camp, if thiswas anything else. As we get closer
and closer to the season, Ithink it's a big deal. But right
now, he did it before, and it's not a big deal that he's
not there because what's gonna happen?I mean, if Sam dar all right,
If Sam Darnold and JJ McCarthy can'tget Justin Jefferson the football, they've

(03:29):
got much bigger problems. I thinkthose two need to figure that out very
quickly, unless Justin Jefferson starts tomaking noise and wants to go play with
someone else, and then it's awhole other So I smains Seen is the
band that my mind's already jumped to. If the Vikings did trade Justin Jefferson,
what team would he go to?He would go It would be the

(03:49):
best fit for him. You know. The Colts is actually an interesting one
because the Colts want Anthony Richardson toget good. They know the Texans are
getting better. The Broncos is aninteresting one. Does the history repeat itself?
Does a disgruntled Minnesota Vikings wide receivergo to Buffalo? Do you know
how insane Bill's fans would be ifJustin Jefferson played, they would think they

(04:10):
would book the tickets to New Orleans. Maybe that's the difference for Josh Allen
getting justin Jefferson. I mean Bill'sfans were happy potentially about the Gosh,
Marvin Harrison Junior would have been awesomefor Bill's fans. Just's that's different.
We've got a game seven in sportstonight. That is story number three here.
It's the Edmonton Oilers taking on theVancouver Canucks. Thatak, you got

(04:32):
your wish though. Over the weekend, you were hoping, you were praying
that you would see the Boston Bruinsget knocked out of the postseason, and
sure enough, I wanted to knockhim out. I wanted the Rangers to
knock him out, knock them out. Oh you did want Boston to the
Conference final? Hell yeah, Iwanted. Sorry, I didn't remember that,
I knew. I wagered on thatgame, and I saw Florida score

(04:54):
with less than two minutes ago,and Florida one to one, and they
decided on that broadcast to immediately cutto a crying child in the crowd.
I thought you that was funny.Stupid kid, you're dumb rooting for Boston
for Boston A dumb kid? Wheredumb kid so stupid? I'm a stupid

(05:16):
kid from Boston. You know whyhe's crying. He's a Boston fan.
Well, because ninety nine restaurants stop. I gave us lunch day. They
said, Yeah, best promotion everdid is we give out free food to
kids whenever the Red Sox win,Starving kids in the Boston area. Where

(05:39):
I'm from Basting? Where give mea marb instead of a sucking Where?
Why is my bottlenut full of SamAdams? Where? The Rangers in Panther
series will start Wednesday eight o'clock.Wednesday eight o'clock, the Dallas Stars won
that same night double overtimings the Avalanche. They will play the winner Boilers Knocks

(06:00):
in the Western Conference Finals. Whenwhy as you been in for that?
President? Wait, we stumbled uponthe Ron Washington impression by me the Levak
is a Boston baby? Might beanother one in the pack? Came man.
We want a story number two. We're gonna break up the baseball stars.

(06:21):
I'd like to dive deeper in bothof these. So let's just talk
about these matchups and we can talkabout what's happened over the weekend for both
these New York teams. But first, the New York Mets take on the
Cleveland Guardians tonight, six' ten. First pitch, Ben Lively on the
mound for the Guardians. The Metsplaying one of the best teams in the
American League. I keep saying thatabout the Guardians, and I believe it's
still true until the record goes furtherand further down. Uh Levak, what

(06:42):
do you make of this matchup withthe Guardians some inner league play here?
Do you feel like New York againstCleveland? This is the worst time to
face one of the better teams inthe AL for the Mets. Without giving
away too much coming up into myfive minutes, that's our relevant. That's
it. Sorry, you know whatwe were. There was a time when
I was like, you know what, guys, we should play the Mets.

(07:03):
Now I think every single team inbaseball is saying the same thing.
Man can't wait to play the Mets. Can't wait to play the Mets.
Pete Lonz is playing like poop. That's a It's a good time to be
the Guardians. Mets fan. I'vegot a lot to say about what happened.
Mets baby over the weekend. Ourguy, Mike, our guy Zach

(07:24):
All, our guy Charlie. Hopehis leg's feeling better. I've got a
lot to say about the Mets comingup here in about five minutes. But
before we do the Mets conversation, you gotta give you a story Number one
today. It's the New York teamin action. That's the New York Yankees
seven oh five, first pitch againstthe Seattle Mariners in the Bronx. The
Yankees one of the hottest teams inbaseball. I was gonna squeeze this into
the show, and I'm doing itright now. You didn't get the name.

(07:44):
You said the name wrong, theAmerican League East leading New York Yankees.
There may not be a wager thatI had better this year, but
me telling you at our Friday show, look back over under five and a
half runs for the White Sox inthis series against the Yankees. Five That

(08:05):
was a made up prop on thespot. But you could have bet team
under team total every game. Ididn't know those numbers. I'd like my
prop better, didn't hit. Theyscored five runs in three games, and
as bad as the White Sox are, as much as I'd like to not
give the Yankees credit. Good gosh, that pitching staff for the Yankees.
Did youill have fourteen strikeouts? Isthat one of the best strikeout performances since

(08:28):
El duque as are on the mound? My gosh, fourteen case Just all
the excellence just gets kind of mundane, you know. Just always winning,
that's all we do. Just bigHarry American winning machines. That's what we
are. Or wherever Luis Hill isfrom. Seven straight wins for the Bronx

(08:48):
Bombers. Yeah, yeah, howmany for the uh ohs? One?
Ah, you're the worries. Theythey have the second ah, they have
the second best record in the AmericanLeague. According to these stands, it
says the Yankees the second best recordin third best record in baseball behind the

(09:13):
Phillies. Well, everybody who wantsto be third. I remember being a
little kid growing up in my backyard, through the baseball up in the air,
swing it and now home run tobecome the third best team in baseball,
Yeah, that's what everybody dreams ofbeing third. Way to go,
guys, mediocrity, that's it.It looks good on you. Slowly but

(09:39):
surely, how the season goes,I don't like how the Yankees are going.
Okay, I've been able to havea lot of points about the Orioles,
but I don't like this direction.Five minutes of dad jokes from guys.
WHOA, I'm starting to get somestand up material. If you missed
it might help you write it.Right now, it's even if the bet

(10:01):
end. Even if the bet endedtoday would be even because the Os still
own the season series over the Yankees, and a lot postseason hasn't started.
Our bet I'm talking about it,not even the postseason hasn't started. The
orders are up three to one.I believe in the season series, yeah,
but you're not even guaranteed, Likeright now, you're in the you're

(10:22):
you're in the postseason, but you'renot holding the division, right so you
have one point there, I've gotone to draw right now the postseason has
They're at the same spot in thepostseason because it hasn't started. That's how
I'm rationalizing it in my mind.Right now, you're such a loser.
It's seven o five Yankees take onthe Mariners tonight. I've got a lot

(10:46):
to say about the Yankees too,but more so the Mets coming up here.

My day's completely turned around. Youfound you found the cookies? Foun a

(16:18):
cookie? Oh man? This one? Oh no, you're the last one.
Well there, but they were caughtup. At first. I was
tecked and I saw they send itwith a thing to cut it, because
you know, like the work. The worst thing is when there's donuts in
the kitchen at your work and soyou can see that someone like pull the
cookie donut apart, left half. It's like you touched it. You touched
it, you eat it. Thishas like a special thing to cut the

(16:40):
cookies. So that spot that leftthe cookies today, they recently opened and
they invited all the media to go. They said, hey, if you're
a media member, you can coverit. So I know what they were
trying to do. It's like theytry to get free advertising off all the
local media, like hey, thislocal business is open, and stop buying
the give them food. I'm like, you know what smart? That is
smart. But at one point inmy life I tried to take the free

(17:03):
stuff and say no, no,no, I don't want to take anything.
Then I get to feel obligated, and then I feel like, well
we gave you the stuff, nowI got it. So I always got
a little conflicted and then I stoppedcarrying and I just decided to eat the
food. And I was there onopening day. I didn't see any other
media member. You know that Iwas the only media member there getting the
free cookies. You know what youdo? This is something I learned.
Whenever they do that, you go, I'm more than happy to sample your

(17:26):
product. I'll even talk about itafterwards, but I'm gonna tell the truth
and then watch their eyes like,do you like do you like cookies?
Look at me, a fat Ilike cookies, like good cookies. I
will say that was good cookie. It was. I'm not mad about it.
How long was it sitting there?I don't know I had I had
mine three hours ago. Okay, well, if that's it's in the box.

(17:48):
But if that's a three hour oldcookie and it was still like that,
I'm gonna go to that place getcookies. That's good. I'm not
even to cook a guy, butthat cookie. As long as you need
a cookie, okay. And rightnow, in my real life, the
Yankees are my cookie. The Yankeesare my cookie. The Yankees are going
out. Remember when we were rememberremember remember when we was like, oh
my god, Aaron Judge needs toplay about Remember that? Do you remember

(18:11):
I remember those days? Yeah? The whole Juan Soto flirting in public and
then one soda I sent you atweet. Is that Juan Soto's gonna eventually
own a percentage of the team atthis rate? Oh amn, Aaron Judge
thirteen home runs the only offensive quartercategory for the Yankees right now that is
not led by Jan Soda, oflike major categories, is judge with home

(18:36):
runs Soda three eleven average, thirtyseven RBIs four eleven on base percentage with
fifty seven hits. Were the Yankeesexpected to beat the White Sox? Of
course? Are the White Sox argalythe worst team in Major League Baseball this
season? Yeah, but that's noteven the takeaway from that game, Like
there weren't things where like the WhiteSox are running into each other or missing

(18:56):
fly balls or throwing the ball underhand. The Yankees showed off. This was
an interesting second time we're doing thison the show. A New York local
to New York professional comparison, verymuch like the Firebirds Levac where there were
plays made in that Firebird game againstthe Southwest Kansas where it's like, Okay,
we're a lot better than you andwe're about to show you really fast.
Yeah, we have so much moretalent than you on the field,

(19:18):
and watch what we can do whenwe play it this hot. We're not
turning it down. Once it's thesecond half of the Firebirds they turned it
down a little bit. More aboutconserving bodies for two games in five days.
But the Yankee said, go ahead, let's see what the best of
the White Sox is. Let's seewhat this is. Total domination from start
to finish for New York. Itwas, it was, it was awesome.
And and look, let's you know, it's kind of take a second.

(19:41):
Let's take it take a step back. It's not like you just swept
the Twins. It's not like youjust took two or three from the race.
It's not like you just took twoor three from the Astros and swept
the Tigers. Yeah, it islike all of that. It's like all
of that notice is being served kids, the bombers. Oh, by the
way, you know what happens tomorrow, But no, what happens tomorrow.

(20:03):
Garrett Cole faces live batters. It'sonly getting better. But your Orioles have
somebody like Garrett Cole coming into theroster, right, they'll be fine.
I haven't seen him seen that person. The only way my life can get

(20:25):
better is when I leave here tonight, if I go home and paste Paranik
is waiting there with a drink forme. That's the only way my life
can get better than what the Yankees. Give me this one. Stings,
It hurts steep. It's not permanent. It's not permanent. It feels like
a bruise when I was a kid. It's not gonna be on your arm
forever. You hope it's gonna getoff that. Right now, the Yankees
are the best team in baseball. They're better in the Phillies. The Phillies

(20:47):
and the Yankees played each other.Right now, I would take the Yankees.
The offense is too explosive, Philliesoff so Philly's really good. But
with Soto and Judge swinging the batslike there, now, the Yankees are
the best team in baseball. Iwould put Baltimore's second, but the Philly
Baltimore game would be close. Again, Baltimore's beating the Yanks. The Yankees
did not play. The Yankees areout of this world right now. Seven
straight wins. The way they're theit's not the saying Yankees Taven Baltimore faced

(21:11):
a few weeks ago. So theYankees are the best team in baseball right
now, right now, May twentieth. Where would you put the Mets on
that list? Back? Uh themast stick a fork of them. They're
done. I don't want to dothat in mid May, but gosh,
uh, the forks out of thecabinet, dude, Edwin has cried,

(21:32):
oh my gosh for Edwin Diz,Like, here's the deal, I don't
We've seen very different versions of EdwinDiaz, right. We saw we saw
the dominant closer in Seattle. Wesaw the guy who couldn't didn't remember how
to throw when he got to theMets. Then we saw the guy who
was the best closer in the gameand it was not close. Then we

(21:53):
saw the guy who celebrated in theBaseball World Series World Classic and hurt himself.
This guy does not know what he'sdoing. He is not how to
throw, do know how to howto throw a strike? He doesn't know
what and he's so upset and andand listen, I am I'm on record
as saying I don't like seeing myathletes cry like out of sadness like that.

(22:14):
But this is a prolonged this isa thing. This is this is
frustration boiling over. This is aguy who cares so much about performing and
winning that his emotions boiled over. And I believe this Ray has had to
come over and like like kind ofshield him like I feel that on him
on like a human level. Ifeel it, and I want him to
be better. I want him tostart to get the chance to be better.

(22:37):
But this, this whole Mets teamis not good. No, they're
struggling. Das is a big partof it. There's a time and people
love this conversation, and I thinkit's changed depend on what age you are.
But what's if you could play anyprofessional sport team sport. We're gonna
take fighting out of it. We'regonna take golf out of it like a
team sport. And you have topick a position, all right. If

(22:59):
I'm playing team sports, the positionI wish I was was a A lot
of people would pick closer in baseballbecause it's cool. You're throwing one hundred
miles an hour. You get yourown theme music, everyone knows when you're
coming out. You don't have toreally play that often, maybe only when
your teams. The lead closer inbaseball for a lot of people would be
atop the list in team sports,a position that you wish you could play

(23:22):
because it's cool. Football you're takinga lot of hits as the quarterback basketball,
sometimes it's going to be you're thestar, but maybe not as cool
as closer in baseball. This haschanged mind sir, Like maybe you want
to be at starting pitcher. Youpitch once every five days and you get
out after one hundred pitches. Ifeel for DZ. Why is it that
your dream at like athletic sport positionis the one that like doesn't play a

(23:48):
lot like gos is, Like I'dlove to be a kicker. Why you're
out there like six times a game, maybe seven twelve at the most?
What about baseball closer man one threeout of four days? Oh? With
the dream? Would you want tobe like you want to be like right
field? No, we want tobe like shortstop when you want to be

(24:10):
like you want to be out therelike like I mean, come on,
just like closer like Harrison guys isLike you know, when it comes to
basketball, I'd love to be theperson with a mop. They're only out
there like three times a game. It's great. Everybody sees them, cheers
them on every time you take thecourt. You ever ever consider being a
Yankees grounds Grew guy seventh inning? There you know, Ymca comes on,

(24:33):
everybody's cheering you on. You haveto hit terrible game. People are still
cheering them on. That's what Iwant to be when I grow up.
There'll be another discussion for the summer. The position you'd love to play in
deep sports. Closer used to bemine. It's got the most pro wrestling
type feel to it. I feellike you're the man hitting the mound getting
all fired up. Like if you'rea hitter, you could strike out and
fail and get booted like Closer. We just watched the DS. Not always

(24:57):
great finishes, is always wonderful basketball, Yeah, I mean might get tired
after a while. Kickers out here'sonBucker ruined that people don't need that kicker
out there. Punter. I don'treally know a lot of punters. But
it's closer, uh levec. There'sa real possibility here that DS is actually
done. That injury may have affectedhim a lot more than everybody let on.

(25:18):
It's a serious injury. He wasout for the entire season that happened,
and it's a closer where he justmight not have it anymore. This
happens in baseball a lot more thanpeople realize. I think this is a
brain mental thing, right, Yeah, this is a brain contusion, Like
this is Yeah, he's if hehe's just somebody's and I don't know,
Like the sports psychiatrist has become likethis thing that I'm very intrigued by.

(25:40):
Like I because everybody's everybody's got akid, right that plays sports. You
have had a moment where you havegot your kid to calm down, and
your kid has performed at a higherlevel they did before. Maybe they're not
great, you know whatever. LikeI was never meant to play baseball.
I learned that when I was akid. I tried out for the school
team. Going back to catch aball, tripped over something and hit me

(26:03):
right in the neck. While Ilay on the ground, I knew that
day I probably shouldn't do it.Still tried to play baby Ruth. I
was terrible. I was never I'mnot built for baseball. That's not my
that's not my game. Football notbad, I could, you know now
I am, But I whatever.Lacrosse I was Goldie. I was fun.
But like there's that moment where you'retalking a kid, like my daughter's
playing softball and she's just you cantell she's scared of the ball. And
I literally where we left one dayand put her helmet on her and I

(26:27):
hit her in the head with thebaseball from like four feet away, just
like a little just a little nothing, nothing hard. I'm like that hurt.
I didn't like it. Like ithurt. She says, no,
I go, that's that's about ashard as a lot of these girls are
playing. That's what you're gonna be. That's what you're facing. She got
a hit. She was a scarret. That moment where you get in their

(26:48):
head and get them to do thething that you know they can do that
they don't think they can do.Like somebody's gonna have to get a hold
of ideas and go you you youever see this guy ever here a trumpet
and just know that you're gonna gokick somebody's ass. That's what you are,
go do it. Speaking about youngkids playing baseball, like the mental
side of it, I hadn't experiencedthis weekend. So I had five kids

(27:10):
in my house under ten, andthree of the girls. Three of the
girls don't really know what's going onwith baseball, but they really wanted to
play, like you could tell likethey wanted to play a game. So
I had them out there playing baseball. Girl one gets up there, she's
nine, maybe ten, she's thefirst one. I don't know how she
gets the lead off, but somehowshe's up there first. First she hits

(27:30):
it, hits a right back tothe pitcher. So I catch it.
She's out. What what do youmean I'm out. I'm like, yeah,
you're out. I caught it.Second one gets up there, so
she's seven. I don't know wheremom and dad or this is again,
I'm the aunt and uncle. Thee'schet. My wife's of course the yeah,
right exactly. So the second onegets up, second one gets up
there, she hits it, goes. The first runs right by first base,

(27:52):
gets tag going a second. Igo, no, you gotta ah,
you gotta be kidding me. Thisis third one. I'm like,
she'll be fine. She's five, she's got this. She gets to the
tea, barely hits it, hitsit. I didn't hit it as far
as my sister's bat. I'm like, this is mental. This is the
Edwin I'm living the Edwin d Sscenario. Now, my son Rex got
up there. Wes is not quiteready yet. Wes got up there.

(28:15):
Rex got up there. West isin the outfield. Rex hits one pretty
good. But Rex was so excitedto watch his older cousins chase after the
balls that he just took the betand started running into the alfit. I'm
like, no, no, thebet, you gotta go. All right,
We're done with this. This isEdwin DS. OK, you're afraid
man for doing that. That wasthat was I'm impressed that you didn't even

(28:36):
attempt that. Like if every likeyou said, it was nine kids.
How many kids, Uh, there'sfive out. There's five of which none
no baseball. I would only dowhat you did if at least three of
them are more new baseball. Ifthree of them new baseball and they could
help me tease the other two,I might do it anything other three two

(28:57):
no baseball and three no no baseball. Or you know what, kids,
you should play by yourself. Youknow what met fans. Hopefully that made
you feel better. Let me readas I try to coach up the kids.
Edwin dis is quote like think thatstory. I just lived through it.
Think we will vac just live throughwith his daughter and his younger sell
playing baseball. Let's read read theDS quotes quote. I want to help

(29:18):
my team win. That's my mainthing. If they want to talk to
me about that, I feel goodabout that. I agree on it.
I just want to win games atany position they put me. Uncle Tom
put me at second base, andI don't know why this chair second base.
To get out there while to helpmy daughter not be afraid of the
ball, I'll do that, butI want to watch my kid actually look
really fast running after the ball thathe hit with a bat in his hand
and swinging it. I think Ihave to take the positives for what it

(29:41):
is. The season might be overfor the Mets. Here's a good thing
that happened for the Mets. Though. You know, Livac, you and
I covered the story a lot, especially with New York teams. Sometimes a
New York team can get a boostfrom the minor leagues. We've seen it.
A ton Pete, a Lonzo wasone of these guys. And Judge
and Sansche we've watched the old storylineof kid comes from the minors, makes
a big impact and then the seasonchanges. This is happening right now for

(30:04):
the New York Mets. I don'tknow how many Met fans know this,
but there's a player in their system. Clay Thompson's younger brother, Trace Thompson,
hit six home runs in a weekat Triple A. Six home runs
in a week. Do the mathon that. But there's a player so
hot in their system right now thathe smashed six home runs at Triple A.

(30:27):
So think about that. That's kindof cool. Younger brother of Clate
Thompson. You call him up,he's hot, you can get the Mets
lineup working. Here's the problem withthis, look, he's a fairy,
good looking guy. You here's theproblem with Thompson theory. He's thirty two
and he's been in Major League baseballfor about nine years. I don't know

(30:48):
what going to click. I guessmaybe, so like there you go,
met fan Diez is terrible, Lavacand I just try to make you feel
better. And your best player inthe farm system is hotter than anybody right
now in Triple A. But he'salso thirty two. So maybe you call
up Thompson see if he can providea spark to the team. Usually had
somebody in their early twenties that doesit. He's about a decade older than
that. Maybe they're young, they'reMets fans. We're trying our best to

(31:12):
not say the season's over on Maytwentieth. I mean it is it over
by the most base meaning of over, No, it's not. Do.
I have a lot of hope forthem moving forward now now, right now,
And again remember I was somebody's like, hey, let's wait, let's
see what they do. And therewas a couple of moments there was a

(31:33):
window early where they looked like theywere going to handle some business, and
that hasn't been the case. Iwould love to get my hands on that
with Dias, Like if you're like, if I'm a Yankee fan and I
happen to be and you told methat, like, all right, you
know what called prospects of no realvalue? Because what is he? Right
now? Get out when Diaz inthere, Let him throw the eighth inning

(31:56):
for a little while, get itright, and then go out there and
just starting how many the ninth?Again? My first reaction was no to
that, because he's bad, sowhy would you want him? But when
you look across the National League, who's gonna be willing? This is gonna
be the really fun part about thesummer in baseball. The National League is
gonna be so competitive. If it'snot Diez, then who else is on

(32:17):
the move? Like here all theteams I believe still think during contention quickly
Phillies, Braves, Brewers, Cubs, Pirates, Cardinals, Dodgers, I
lost count out Dodgers, Padres,Giants, Diamondbacks. All right, let's
silver it around. Who's not incontention? Rockies, Reds, Marlins,
Nationals. So four teams that Idon't know if they're The Marlins were in

(32:38):
the playoffs last season. The Redsaren't too far back, but they got
a pretty good farm system, andthe Rocky stink. So like, there's
not a lot the Yankees can pickfrom out of the National League. Diz
would be the best player to goafter. If the Mets think it's over
and they're four games below five hundredand they said, hiher in the standings
because they're division stinks. It's verright there. I like it. Listen,

(33:02):
if you look at you forecast inthe future. I don't want Das
on the Yankees, but what ishappening in this segment. I just defended
the Mets with an analogy about Toddlers. I talked to myself into a thirty
two year old prospect getting called upto the majors. I convinced myself the
NA least is a terrible division, all favoring the Yankees, even though I'm

(33:23):
an Orioles. Welcome. We toldyou years ago you're a Yankee fan.
A mental print this, We toldyou years ago you'd be a Yankee fan.
And then finally you're a little yourslower learner than we anticipated. But
you know, I think last year'sheartbreak and this year realizing you got fools
gold with the Orioles, it's youknow, welcome, welcome to the Yankees.
Ools are still there. We feelgood about it. You know what.

(33:44):
Actually the Orioles actually, you know, I'm sorry you asked me who
I can roll out rule the Ols. No they're not. I was gonna
say, go after Diaz, butyou've got Felix Bautista throwing in the bullpen
as well. But he's got onearm. There you go? How you
how you don't? I know how. I've got a great plan failing the

(38:12):
I have to admit Levak, Igot distracted in here. What did you
get distracted by it? I don'teven want to say what we got the
st I saw a story about somebodyyou used to be associated with the capital.
So we do it now and thenI'm sorry. I always start with
broke up. Live Morgan has saidshe's single. Oh for those who don't
know, miss Live morgany ww superstarright now that that was trending, like

(38:37):
is the number one sports story today, Live Morgan Open Thoughts was the name
of the source that came from.Good for that podcast, Good for them
that all this girl said. Allshe said was I'm single. Now in
the internet got real thirsty, realfast over her. She was with Bo
Dallas Corre, who was Bray Wyatt'sbrother and allegedly with more if you remember

(39:00):
him. Most basically she was Soshe's single. So that's I mean,
while you're watching Wrestling Tonight Live,Morgan's hopping around with usually something, usually
sticking her butt out. Look atthat, Look at it, Look at
it? Look at it? Looklook look did she say that? That's
what I mean, that's what heractions say wrestling, I usually keep the

(39:22):
volume down kind of low, soI have to like interpret what they're saying.
Let's get that's what she says.Just imagine some wrestler that's their gimmicks.
Soon yeah, look it, Wellit's her distracted what huh Yeah,
I'm gonna have to give her acow for no reason. And then the

(39:46):
reason I said broke up is throughhis uh C T ESPN. We have
we have learned that Antonio Brown hasfiled for bankruptcy. He used to chant
energy is free around our office allthe time. That's his way of saying,

(40:07):
like, you know, you shogotta be positive, gotta push forward,
Energy is free. That Woods justwrote to me, I guess energy
isn't free anymore? Ah, allright, So let's I have a lot
of follow ups here about Antonio Brown. So you see, I don't know

(40:27):
what to believe, Levac, becausethere's there's a lot of people in the
Capitol Region that are hearing this newsfor the first time that Antonio Brown has
filed for bankruptcy and are thrilled, are so happy that someone who derailed a
proud organization, a multiple time championshiporganization that claim they wanted to be a
part of the Capitol Region, thatdid everything in the exact opposite way of

(40:49):
that, is now filed for bankruptcy. Here's why there's no way this is
like listen, hold on it,make okay. I at one point my
life was forced to file for bankruptcymy divorce. I really have a choice.
I had to do it. Iguarantee this dude is filing for bankruptcy
for a few reasons. Maybe oneto pay less child support, maybe to

(41:15):
finally put to bed this whole jewelrything where he stole that dude's jewelry.
I would guarantee something to do withthe Antonio La Law trust. But he's
got money. He's still got money. That's what I don't get like,
as someone who hasn't gone through thisprocess before, or does he understand Antonio

(41:35):
Brown like, I don't think anyoneunderstand that. Tonio Brown say like,
hey, I know that I've justbeen spending money and owe a bunch of
people a bunch of money and I'mnever gonna pay him back. And probably
a lawyer or somebody said, hey, for you not to have to pay
these people are back, or foryou to have some type of liquid right.
Liquidity, I guess would be theterm he would use here, liquidity
liquidity. I don't know how AntonioBrown would say it. He would this

(42:00):
is the best minutia minutia, right, community minutia. This would be the
best course of action for him,him getting out of trouble on something.
Okay, he is such a scumbagthat he's I guess again, he's using
this to get lower child support andhe's probably using this to get out of
some lawsuits that are facing it.So do you want to read the entire

(42:22):
tweet? No, I mean Ican if you want me, I'll do
it instead, all right, breakingnews from Antonio Brown. He again tweeted
this breaking news NFL legend Antonio Brownhas filed for bankruptcy. Today, he
will be a first balled Hall ofFamer in twenty twenty seven. He will
be releasing new music this summer. He is also the founder of the most

(42:44):
trusted source in all of sports. That's CTESPN if yeh those more familiar,
which has had some good some goodpolls. I mean, I don't know
how trusted it is, but it'shad some good polls. Here's again,
here's here's my bet. He's there'slawsuits that we don't even know about yet.

(43:04):
That's that's what. And again he'strying to get the support lower and
he's getting all those things. Andthen if you don't even have to look
hard, he sold most of hisproperty to the trust for like hundreds of
dollars. Hundreds of dollars. Yeah, yes, why what do you Because
what you do is you put everythingin the trust and then you're not taxed
for it. The trust is it'sin the trust. So now let's say

(43:27):
that the trust he lives in thehouse because the trust allows him to Okay,
now you sue him. You can'ttouch the house. It's you have
to sue the trust. And that'sa hole. That's a way tougher legal
thing to do. So he's he'salready put everything that he wants to keep
in the trust, so the trusthas it Antonio La La has it and

(43:50):
lets him use it. There's ashow, and I just asked this naively.
There's a show on our sister stationcalled Life Happens Radio, Pier O'Connor
and Strauss, who cover a lotof stuff, and I've recused some of
their episodes. I wonder if Ican get them to do this this week,
like explain what Levac just said tome slower, like, you sold
it for one hundred bucks so youcould keep it. Because I get the

(44:12):
litigation part of that. I'm justlike, if Antonio Brown knows that there's
being advice to do that, Ifeel like there should be another loss that.
I'm like, no, no,no, no, no, that's
not allowed. You're a scumbag. We know what you're trying to do right
now. I would that I wouldlike to see that too, because again,
I just there's no doubt in mymind that this is him getting around
something, some judgment, some rulingis coming and he doesn't want to he

(44:35):
doesn't want to be held accountable,so he's doing this to get around it
and that, and you know, look, I the lawyers, they're they're
probably pretty smart, but I Iwish the losses were coming from here.
I just he's such a he's sucha differing and for him to announce it
on c T, ESPN and thentalk about he's gonna be in the Hall
of Fame, he's got more musiccoming out, like, he's such a

(45:00):
bag, He's such a their bag. I would love I would love an
opportunity to speak to them again. No, you would not, wait,
you want privately, Okay, veryprivately. That one makes more sense.
Yeah, oh yeah, I am. I'm angry now because that's just again,
like I know all the people heowsed, and he's doing this to
make sure that he can hosse morepeople. That's what he's doing. But

(45:22):
hey, you know, hopefully Karmais around somewhere and handles handles the business.
It is time for the play ofthe day, which is brought to
you by Mohawks Chevrolet. Together, let's drive a Mowak Chevy where they always
go out the way to please you. By the way, Mohawk Schevrolet is
a sponsor of this Friday Night's AlbanyFirebirds game very the West Texas Desert Hawks

(45:43):
Battle of the Birds Desert Hawks versusFirebirds. Who likes it hot? The
Desert of the fire I don't know. We're gonna way, We're gonna take
them down, clowns. I've gotto play here because we have now come
back to the back of where wewere. We launched this a year plus
ago when we first started the playof the day, and thank you to
Mohawk Scherley for being with us fromday one here on Fox Sports that day

(46:05):
when we launched in May of twentytwenty three, for the Fox Sports side,
you and I more so me jokedaround like, hey, uh,
it's a little harder in May,not as much sports going on. Can
we get this to roll out inlike September when we have like a real
stack of games. We have nowapproached the spot and this is it.
You either have the Canucks or Oilerson a Monday night hockey play, or
you've got baseball. The NBA comesback a little bit later, the Rangers

(46:30):
come back a little later this week, So it's gonna be a lot more
baseball and probably gonna hit August. It will be more fantasy. I say
all that's stalling to give my playthat I don't feel like, felt very
weird about the game. So I'mgoing to Oriels Cardinals. Tonight's seven to
forty five. First pitch. SodyGray is on the mound for the Cardinals.
You know, I've given this guya bunch of different nicknames, Kreamer,
Creamy a Dean Kremer, the longhaired flamethrower, Big number sixty four

(46:53):
for the Oriols. Okay, soI like both of these pitchers. So
going into this game, I'm like, Okay, great pitchers on the mound.
That's probably a five and a halfrun over under, and I would
probably go under if I saw fiveand a half seven and a half.
Oh one of these things when you'rewager on sports, that doesn't feel right
over tonight in Oriole's Cardinals. It'san in game play. So if you

(47:16):
hit like the fourth inning and it'stwo to one or it's one nothing and
you still see seven and a halfout there, that could be a plus
money bet. Right now, it'splus excuse me, minus one twenty.
But I'm doing an in game overseven and a half. So mark dad
on the calendar, Cardinal it's anin game over seven and a half.

(47:36):
Play It's back. Oh, it'sback. The Pinstry parlay has returned,
going simple, going easy. Yankeeswin over the Mariners. Judge and Soto
hits. That's it plus two wonders. That's it. That's all. It
is. Two to one, baby, let's go Yankees win. Judge stays

(47:57):
hot, Soto stays hot. Winthe cash. That's it. That's all
there is. I went crazy allweekend betting the Ponies. Had no business
betting the Ponies. It's a bigfan of Mogatu and Uncle Heavy. Didn't
happen. Nothing good there, SkuyScheffler and John Ram We're gonna go on
a little bit of a revenge tour. Nope, I mean unless that tour

(48:19):
happen off the golf course. Besttweeted the weekend. By the way,
somebody updates everything. Sky Scheffler wasarrested this morning. He has been released
and taking to Valhalla. And therewas this way road they killed him.
I was very happy with that.Good. That made my day. I
wagered on Tyson Fury this week more, paying more for that pay per view

(48:39):
than I realized. Now let's I'msure it was sixty nine ninety nine and
what fifty five cents? I betmore than fifty five cents? Seventy three?
No, twenty whole dollars? No, no, no, no.
It was a pretty high wager forme. So if I had to,

(49:00):
let's put it like this, Ihad to pay a lot more for the
pay per view than I thought. But in my brain, if this wager
had hit, then I would nothave had to pay for the pay per
view. Okay, So sixty nineninety nine seventy dollars is what you put
on it? Okay, all right, well, yeah, it's a big
bad technically, should have wagered, now think it out loud, thirty five
dollars because thirty five would have paidme back. They were both favorites,

(49:21):
which also should have been a redflag for me. No, if you
bet thirty five, you didn't putyour thirty five out right, and then
I would add thirty four, andthen I would have gained thirty four.
So you're right, sixty nine wasthe right wager, yeah, which you
love saying out loud. So Ibet the knockout, I bet the decision,
which was plus money. That's howI thought about in my mind.
So he was the favorite they bothwere minus money. Yes, he was

(49:43):
the favorite, but in a rarespot where there wasn't plus money on the
the payouts, which should have toldme pass. Nonetheless, I wager we'll
get to that. I'm sure lateron in the show. Can we all
just keep a secret? Can allof us just kind of get together for
a minute. If you're listening toLevac, guys, I'm listening Fox Sports

(50:05):
Radio ninety five nine nine eighties,it about me, It's about the AFL.
I just saw a tweet that justlike I think, I don't think
people understand, like how much betterthis league is today than what it was
like two weeks ago. Like it'sa better league. Jeff Fisher's there,
The people who are in charge care. It's more about the league than themselves,

(50:25):
you know, if you have theguy who you know, it's more
about the name of the front ofthe jersey in the back of jersey.
But I just saw a tweet theyjust kind of gave me a problem from
the AFL at official AFL on TwitterANFL fans, I have a question from
a purely social media standpoint, whatdo you guys want to see more on
here? Lots of highlights score updates, graphics. Let me know we're going

(50:50):
to make it happen. I justthink have you ever seen like like Wendy's
has never said, Hey, Iwonder we should put on social media.
It just feels weird. Oh youdidn't like it. I don't like it.
Okay, I'm the The answer isyes, here's highlights, score updates,
graphics. Yes, here's what I'llpushback on you on that. Okay,

(51:15):
the bottom right corner of that, now social media, let's you see
that. How many views does thattweet have? I bet it has over
two hundred thousand views? Seven, that's it. How many comments does it
have? Over one hundred thirty four? Hey, so look at that.
So like some outlets it's called funsee what You're right, it's called farming
right there, Like, hey,I'm gonna put out a post that's going

(51:37):
to be engaging. It'll get ournumbers up, and it'll get our followers
up. It'll be higher on thetimeline. People will respond to it.
Will there be some negativity here, sure? But if I put out a
post that gets the audience engaged positivelyrather than negatively, and I actually get
feedback from the most die hard fansabout this, it'll be better for the
next week. I get what you'resaying. It's I'll use a comparison from

(51:58):
our show early in the show.I think you should give me pushback.
Of like I would never go onsocial media and try to book a guest,
like hey, I read your article. I'm guys from Fox Sports Radio
would love to have you on that. I would never do that. Be
like I don't want to see.I don't want to say the sausage is
made, like I'll go find theperson's number. You feel like this is
too open and vulnerable, of likehey, we don't or hey we're hey,

(52:22):
we want to do whatever you guyswant, or you feel like,
hey, the answer is overwhelming thehighlights and you don't bring enough highlights.
People like stop over promising. Isthat what rubbed it the wrong way?
The first badge of comments, majorityof them are all three yes do that,
which I just said. There's butthere's of course the snarky in there.
You know, how about you payyour clubs? Okay this, how

(52:43):
about you pay attention? Those peopleare gone. These guys are they're doing,
These guys are living up to anypromise they've made. So like you're
open the door to that, Andthen I've seen a lot of people.
If you need a social media manager, I can help. I'm the guy
whatever. Like all of a Suddeny'reputting LinkedIn profiles on here. You're right,
like it's interactive posts. Good callon your part, But for me,

(53:05):
it's just like like the for theFirebirds if we were gonna do that,
If if Benny Ice did that post, I'd slap him. You know
what they want. They want updates, they want scores, they want to
see the guys his graphics are arethe next their next level? Good Like,

iHeart posts on the Firebird socials. They saw me. I went out
to hide Adelia and Kyle the newerguy, and we're talking and and everything,
and then one by one people camebe like, hey, I don't
have this, Hey where's that?Hey, where's it? And me like,
oh my god, everybody wants youto fect everything. I'm like,
I'm amazing. I don't know whatelse did I don't know what else is

(54:10):
that, but you know it's all. It all starts with a good night
sleep. Though yes, obviously youknow they could see the well restedness that
is that is my aura. NowI did this. I did this last
night. I fell asleep without mymouthpiece in, and I woke up and
I was like, why am Ijust I don't feel like I'm I don't
feel like any real rass, somecrazy dreams, all that stuff. I

(54:31):
look over. I had cleaned mymouthpiece and all stuff, brought it and
put on the night's stand next tothe bed, and then just rolled over
and passed out. So like soluckily I was like halfway the night,
pop my mouthpiece in, boom out, snoring, probably I'm sure, but
not nearly as bad as it usedto be. And like just out felt

(54:51):
great. Slept through a phone call, never sleep through phone calls. So
exciting because I didn't feel like havinga phone call, but it was just
amazing, such a difference to themouthpiece makes. And I asked me why,
Well, because it lets me breathe. I have what's known as substructive
sleep avenue, so my airway closeswhile I'm sleeping, So I would either
have to get like the mask wherewe just force the air down my throat
and everything, which I'm not abig fan of. Is not my style.

(55:13):
Surgery, Uh, not a fanof, not my style. Oh
wait a minute, there's a mouthpeace, key's my airway open. Let's
go Doctor Frederier and the Integrave SleepCenter and Ballston Spot five eighty eighty five,
six point five. They're helped mesleep better, They're gonna help you
sleep better. Two third hour getsunderway. Uh, you know, there
was. I was shocked. There'smore basketball than just the Knicks game.
