guzz on the Voice of the CapitolRegions Sports Fan, Fox Sports ninety five
nine and nine eighty. Good afternoon, everybody got back in a GT Toy

(00:22):
two. That's toys b Z myself. I'm here at MVP Arena. It
has been one of those days withthe flock university coming up, getting ready
for the Nashville trip. Uh,I'm doing all right. Happy, Uh
it was Wednesday. Now I'm forgettingwhat day it is. We did that
yesterday, Happy Wednesday. Second showof the week. I'm off to a
good start. I gotta say I'ma little little surprised because this is not

(00:44):
how we expected to start the showtoday. We had a little schedulings snaff
foo. We were scheduled to bejoined by the NIRA Vice President of Communications,
Pat McKenna, our dear, dearfriend. He is now moving to
three twenty, so Pat going tojoin us in about twenty minutes. He's
a little busy. I don't knowif you've heard about the Belmont coming,
but he's a little busy. He'snnajoin us in about twenty minutes. Yeah,

(01:07):
listen, we always love talking toPavin Kenna. So I'm good to
get an update on what's going onwith the Belmont coming to town. Where
do we stand? How is it? How are you putting together? I
was God's I was explaining to mydaughter over the long weekend. I was
like, I just like kind ofgrasp what we're looking at here, Like
the Belmont historically is well over onehundred thousand people, and now it's gonna

(01:32):
be fifty thousand people. So Idon't know how the people are gonna decide
to not go where they're gonna watchfrom. If there's a way to fit
more what we're doing. I mean, it is going to be quite the
achievement for Saratoga to flawlessly host theBelmont. But I believe that with Nira
and the people of Saratoga and LouisAssociates and everything like that, they'll be

(01:53):
able to do it. But quitequite defeated. Somebody's been to the Belmont,
you have trouble kind of visualizing andfitting into Saratoga. I would have
had that question, but I gota little sneak peak. So now I
got my questions answered. Oh youdid. Oh well, that's right.
You went up there yesterday, right, Yes, Why are you being so
cryptic? I'm making sure that Patis gonna Jonas at three twenty. Sorry

(02:15):
about that. I was stuble taskingthat right there, and maybe make sure
everybody's got their info. No,I talked a little bit about it yesterday.
I don't want to reveal too manythings actually said out loud, and
I was taking some photos. I'mlike, I'm not gonna put this on
social media. Don't worry, exceptI want the Capitol Region Sportsman to find
out. I don't want to ruinthe surprise. So it is gonna be
really cool. It's gonna look differentfor some people. It's gonna feel a

(02:38):
little different. For as often asthey go to Saratoga, it's still gonna
have that Saratoga feel to it.But as we've been saying for the past
few weeks, it's gonna be oneof those moments here locally. I remember
when I was at Saratoga in Juneof twenty four when they ran the Belmont.
Yeah, and I mean that isthat is going to be amazing.

(03:00):
I'm very excited about it, andit's it's one of those things that like,
I know we'll have no problem beingcovered. I know we'll have no
problem having people show up and attendall of those things. It will be
fine, even though we know we'reonly gonna get it for a year.
Maybe two people will go to it. And I don't know if you can

(03:21):
hear in my voice, guys,a little bit of rage that's been bubbling
since about three o'clock in the morning. Can you can you sense that?
Yeah? I can. I'm veryconcerned of what I want to do next
with you here, because I knowwhat you want to talk about. I
do. Yeah, I feel likewe might have to pivot, Like do

(03:42):
we save that for four twenty? Can you can you hold it in until
later in the show? Do wewant to talk about college excuse in college
basketball? Do we want to talkabout the NBA and what happened last night?
Or do you want to go off? Do you want to go crazy?
Why? How's your voice cracking whenyou asked me that? I don't
know. Hey, look man,it's up to you. Like I said,

(04:03):
I'm in the I'm in the office. You're pushing the buttons. What
do you want to do? Youyou you lead, I'll follow. Let's
Dan, Here's what I would liketo do. I would like to talk
about the NBA because I know howbadly you want to do what you want
to do right now. And thisis my second omaha I've gotten within the
first four minutes of the show.Welcome to Live Radio, everybody that I

(04:23):
would rather talk about the NBA becausewhat you were going to drop on Capitol
Regions sports fans is worth maybe fifteento twenty minutes. I do not want
to rush or keep Pat waiting. And if you don't know what I'm talking
about, go filew thevac on socialmedia. Go to add Jeff Levac on
Twitter, go to his Facebook page. Trust me, I'm making a call

(04:45):
right now. It will be worththe wait. At four twenty today,
here Lavac's rant. Would you saythat's fair? Levac? You need an
unfiltered amount of time for that rantLeader today. I you know, I
don't know. I don't know howlong it's gonna take. I don't know
what you're going to add to it, So that's fine with me. Listen,
I'll talk hoops with you. Ivery much enjoying the Western conference.
Last night, I was. Igot to watch a lot of that game

(05:10):
with the team with the Firebirds withyou know, Andy Gelcher was sitting right
next to me. Richie says thatMike Corda, we were all there watching
together. At the celebratory dinner, they you know, they like take the
guys out after a big win,and there was no bigger win than Fridays,
so we went in to that. But watching that game with a group
of guys, the energy was insane. Like I think I kind of forget

(05:34):
how much fun it is to bein a large room watching a competitive NBA
game, Like, you know,I'm so used to watching hes myself,
or you know, everyone's a whileyou and I'll be lucky enough to sneak
off and watch a game. Youknow, maybe we'll be really lucky.
In a couple other people in thebar, we'll be into the same game
we're into. But last night wasit was electric. Man. We were

(05:56):
lighting it up over at Prime andNational Golf Course started talking National. It
was it was pretty cool. Butand we get more hoops. They the
guys's, you know, NBA girlfriends, the Timberwolves, stay alive. This
is gonna break all my fellow Timberawlfans hearts because I've been a Timberwol fan
for about couple of weeks, soI should know better by this, because

(06:18):
I would say most of my wagersnow in twenty twenty four, if I
went through my account, are probablyleaning towards sixty forty before game and in
game like, that's what it lookslike. Now I'm doing a lot more
in game wagering than I've ever donebefore. So in that game, I'm
watching Kyrie play and I'm thinking He'sgonna win this game by himself. I

(06:40):
know statistically it doesn't show that inthe box score, but there are certain
moments in Game four last night wherelike Kyrie's moments tonight, even in the
pregame when Kenny the Jets Smith starteddoing the Kyrie irvings in an adult taking
him like, hey, hey, hey, I did that first. I
did the Kyrie's an adult take lastweek before Memorial Day. How dare you

(07:00):
do a very maybe now tired takethat I didn't. So there I'm all
getting fired up about Kyrie. I'mlike, I, this is his moment,
this is his game. So thereI go firing off a two dollars
in game wager right there on theMavericks money line. But what I forget,
Levak is that I watch all mycontent on streaming, so I understand
there's a sixty or ninety second delayin comparison to what's happening in real world

(07:25):
act so I'm always at a disadvantageof the in gameplay. But it didn't
matter to me because I thought Kyriewould be the best on the floor for
the remainder of the game. Andthen Lucas started yelling at the officials,
and then some of the shots wereforced, and Anthony Edwards is hitting fadeaway
jumpers like he was Jordan, andMinnesota did it enough. And Anthony Edwards
is yelling and screaming and trash talkingand saying bring your shoes to Micah Parsons

(07:45):
and all this other nonsense. Ithought Dallas had that last night. I
thought Kyrie was about to have amoment and say I'm an adult, this
is my legacy, this is mygame. Minnesota stayed alive. I felt
wrong about that game. I thoughtthat was Dallas all day, especially in
that second half. Well, andit's you know, everybody's everybody's trying to
make Anthony Edwards into a villain.I feel like like he he saw Michae

(08:09):
Parsons, he said he was gonnaget him a pair of sneakers, and
like they're like, why'd you whydid you say that, why'd you say
you were gonna be back. He'slike, I'm I'm supposed to say we're
gonna lose a game, Like likehe's he is handling the spotlight very very
well for a younger star. Butat the same time, like I think
people like they want Bruce Banner toturn into the Hulk, Like they're just

(08:30):
poking him with a stick, tryingto get him to lose his temper,
and so far, the kid hasnot done it, and he's played great
basketball for the most part. Andand again I keep forgetting Mike Conley still
a thing. I thought Mike Conleywas like a million years old. He's
only thirty six. But like thisthis team, there were there were moments
where like Dallas could run away, then they would come back, and then

(08:52):
they handled their business. So wegot we got at least one more night
of basketball between now and June andsixth when the finals start. Thank you,
by the way, Minnesota for doingthat, as he mentioned on yesterday's
show and again here today. Orit's like that would have been a very
long stretch, still could be ifthey knock him out in five games,
a very long stretch. Nice jobby Anthony Edwards to almost be in this
new school media type that I callit off. It's like, what did

(09:13):
you want me to say to that? Which is you just mentioned there?
Of like I could say what Iwant anthy Ewards is an awesome trash talker.
He handed himself well with all thatstuff. He's a getting been in
that movie with that'm Saandler onNetflix. Go watch it. Minnesota is
not coming back, Minnesota. Noone's ever done it in the history of
the NBA. Zero chance zero. How far do they can take it?

(09:37):
How far do you what would you? What would you give him? Do
you think it's is it five games? Is it over? It's over in
the next game? Yeah, Iwill unless the line jumps out before tip
off. That's bizarre. I wouldsay Dallas wins game five. Look,
Minnesota almost blew it last night.Minnesota had it was a seven point lead
with fifty seconds to go, andthey foul Luca and they almost committed a

(09:58):
another foul, like if Luca makesthe free throw, the combinations and how
you play out those final a fewpossessions is probably a little bit different.
By Jason Kidd, So Luca makesone more free throw, Minnesota's in the
I really thought about the Albany Firebirds, by the way, watching the end
of that game, thinking wait asecond, I've seen a team collapse like
this before. They almost blew itagain. I get it. Three of

(10:20):
the four games were decided by asingle digits previous the game before. What
do you okay? So you saida weird, weird spread, What are
the spread you're looking for in thenext game? I would say that the
series is gonna shift back to Minnesota. There are seasons on the line,
if anything. If Minnesota is favoredby I would guess off the top of

(10:46):
my head Minnesota is probably gonna bea four and a half point favorite,
But if it starts going towards likesix or seven, I would hammer the
Mavericks. If it's at three anda half, i'd probably pass. If
it's lower than that, I'd probablybet Minnesota. My wheelhouse for that game
would be about five and a halffor Dallas. If that was the number

(11:09):
right now, the spread open withMinnesota is a four and a half point
favorite. Is currently Minnesota as afive and a half point favorite. Yeah,
baby, let's go. That's exactlywhere I want it. How does
somebody who bets so little nail somany spreads? Like like you're cheating right,
like you're looking at the spreads knockin the studio? Absolutely not.

(11:31):
I was just actually you could hearmy pen. I was using a pen
over here, had no idea whatit was. I would say like like
size of wager, right, Iprobably bet ten times what you bet a
year. Is that probably a fairnumber? Yeah, that's probably true.
And I can't do what you justdid. I'm getting a little bit close.
But you just nailed that spread deadon, like a game that you're

(11:52):
probably gonna about two dollars on.Well, I'm just saying no, no.
Unfortunately though, like through that,I offered up a pass. You
know, I were like, ifthe numbers here, I would probably pass
on the game because that's what thespread should be. So even though that's
a cool thing that I'm able todo, like to figure it out and
get close, and I swear peopleare listening like there's no eat cheated nothing
in front of me to figure outwhere that spread was. I would pass

(12:15):
on that game because I think that'swhat the number should be to entice action,
as you've taught me. And alsoI think the difference in the game.
So again I'm batting at five anda half because everyone think it's gonna
be Minnesota, But if that wasat four and a half or even five
for a push, I would havepassed. Hopefully I'll remember that in football
season. So with college football theNFL roll around, if we play that
game, maybe that'll be a newsegment Guess the spread on Mondays with guys

(12:37):
and if there's one way off, that's how people will start wagering. Or
you can just listen to the vaxpicks as he went over sixty five percent
last year on Fantasy Versus Reality.I told the guys that last night,
and they thought I was lying.I was like, listen to the last
last three years. I think Iwas like sixty one, fifty eight,
and sixty six. And they werelike, lie, lie, Lie.

(12:58):
I was like, ah, allright, fine whatever. They're like,
why are you here if you're thatgood? I'm like, because I don't
have the budget to put real moneybehind it. Come on, we've got
you know what we're gonna do nextyear, the backs to prove it more.
We got to do a triple thing. We've got to do Twitter,
Facebook, and maybe we'll bring backblogs of Like how much more proof do
you people want from me? Howmuch more? We've got it up on
a podcast now? Yeah, Ihave every I have every fancy versus reality

(13:22):
play from last season saved. Idid it all on a Google doc,
so I have them all. Thereyou go. You can actually not only
see the bet like what I thought, you can see the rationale behind it,
like why I thought it was gonnahappen. So I just I mean,
if that be the case, ifI can do that anything close to

(13:43):
that again, I probably will quit. I probably will just go to Vegas.
I was talking to a friend ofmine and she was like, you
know, if if you didn't runa football team, if you didn't do
radio, what would you do?And I was like, honestly, the
only thing that gives me any joybesides those two things right now is I
would try to and you're gonna thinkI'm crazy. I would try to become
a professional gambler during the NFL seasonand she left. I haven't talked to

(14:07):
her since, so, I mean, that's just there's that. But you
know, what are you gonna what? What are you gonna do? Got?
I mean, she's not cash it. That's all we've got. Pat
McKenna joined us at about six minutesbefore we get to Pat. Uh,
we're talking about ways in which youcan handle your finances. Drew Prescott,
Financial Advisor, Prescott PW. That'sprobably not the way in which you would
handle your ass. Sense is firingoff parlays and spreads. Well, all

(14:31):
right, but all right, butthink about think about what we've learned from
Drew Drew. Right, So youcall five one eight two zero three nineteen
eighty three. That's how you geta hold of Drew. You go to
Prescott PW dot com. But ourour conversations with Drew, because I mean,
I remember, Drew's working with peoplewho about two hundred fifty thousand dollars
and are trying to grow it fromthere. They're looking for that financial plan
that's gonna get them from from youknow, decent personal wealth to that next

(14:56):
level of financial greatness. And heknows and we all know, oh,
there's no such thing as guarantees inthe world of finance, but with a
good plan, you can get yourleft father. What the way I do
my stuff is probably the closest thingthat I actually pay attention to his advice
in I have a budget. Istayed within my budget. It's set for
three games a week, you know, the occasional fourth if I'm getting if

(15:18):
I'm getting crazy, And when Ido it the right way, I show
a sixty six percent return on investment. I think he would be thrilled with
what I just did, with withwhat I just described. Now, knowing
I said all that, I alsoknow that the only thing less guaranteed than
the world of finance is the worldof wa Drake. So I don't think

(15:39):
he would invest in me, butit's there, and I'd learned a lot
of financial things from Drew. Sothat's so I feel like I've done Okay.

(21:06):
office getting ready for Flock University tonightover in Rentaler, Caginos. But everybody
is preparing themselves for the big bigthat's coming up, and that is the
Belmont Stakes, which we'll run atSaratoga, the festival, the festivities,
all of that fun stuff. Guys. It all starts on Thursday, June
sixth Are you ready? Are youprepared? Not only am I ready,

(21:30):
Levak You and I will be broadcastinglying from Sarahtoga for the preparation of the
Belmont Stakes at Saturday, starting onthat Thursday. So we'll be there Thursday,
Friday and Saturday. And I seeour phone lines are elevation ten thousand
phone lines late enough. Right now, our guy Pat McKenna is about to
join the show. In about tenseconds. Love it. Pat McKenna,
of course, straight shooter guy who'sgot the information, the vice president of

(21:53):
communication for NIRA and has always beengood enough to take some timeoin us help
get the word out and help explainwhat's going on to us, which is
which is always helpful because guys andI, you know, though we do
love Saratoga and Bellmont everything else,we don't always have all the details,
correct, Pat, are you there? I don't know if I can hear

(22:18):
me. Guys, well back,we just connect. We've got the uh
one and only Pat mcknnan now onthe phone lines with us. Hello,
sir, Hello, how are wedoing? Very good? We're in three
different locations as we get this thinggoing on, So if you could,
you know, you get the fullvantage point, you know exactly what's going

(22:40):
on. How are you going totake this giant, massive Belmont Steaks Festival
and squeeze it into Saratoga with agreat deal of care and attention and attention
to detail, expert customer service andworld class racing. Awesome, that's the

(23:06):
right answer. That's exactly right,Pat. How about as we get closer
closer to next week for those whomight be followers. Take us behind the
scenes a little bit. What aresome of the things that are happening this
week as we lead up to whereto call it Thursday when the track opens
up, the fans getting ready forthe big races throughout Thursday Friday, and
said, what's going on this week? Final preparations. I'm here at a
Charisoga race course. The facility looksphenomenal, the weather's great. Hopefully that

(23:30):
continues in the next week. We'reready. I mean, how long have
you been talking about this? Ithink it's it's high time we get this
thing underway and turn the attention tothe track where it belongs. But it's
going to be It's obviously really exciting. I feel like, you know,
we've been talking about this now forthe better part of what ten months or
so. It's kind of amazing thatit's actually here and you know, a

(23:53):
little bit over a week's time. And I think the excitement anticipation has really
just been a constant since. Uh, you know, obviously it took a
turn in December when it was formalizedthrough the governor's announcement. But uh,
yeah, it's gonna be great. We uh we think this will be a

(24:14):
four day celebration of everything that makeshorse racing and Upstate New York's so special.
Sorry, Pat, Pat McKenna waswith us right now all the back
guys, Fox Sports Radio ninety five. And as you mentioned, like in
December and everything, when everything becameofficial, there was a run on tickets.
If I don't already have tickets, what days am I available to go?
Can I still go? Yes,you can still go Thursday, Friday

(24:38):
and Sunday. There's still some ticketsavailable. And that Friday card is you
know that that's inching up towards atravers level day of racing with a handful
of Grade ones and some unbelievable competition. Courses from all over the country have
descended on Spot City for this firstin a lifetime event. I mean you've

(25:00):
probably heard me say it before, but to be able to play a part
in something that's never happened at Saratoga, a place it's hosted racing since the
eighteen sixties, it's pretty special whenfans attend this event coming up next week.
What if it all is different incomparison to Saratoga summers in the past,
It will be different, Yes,And as We've said throughout this process,

(25:25):
this is a Belmont stake that ishappening at Saratoga Racecourse, but it
is not your average day at theSPA, so that in terms of the
gate opening times, you know, those will differ from day to day.
Belmont Stakes day itself, gates openat nine am. There's no re entry
on that day, so as opposedto during the summer when fans are lining

(25:49):
up to these picnic tables and getin at at seven am and then are
allowed to leave and come back, gates will open at nine and there won't
be any true that day, andthere's also no outside alcohol throughout the festival.
I am looking at a backyard thatis chock full of new bar areas,

(26:10):
though, so that will be looksto be pretty efficient from where I
sit here. And then we're alsojoining just about every major sports and entertainment
destination in New York State and reallyacross the country at this point by going
to mostly a cashless venue. Ilearned that at last year's Belmont Stakes,

(26:33):
nine out of ten transactions ninety percentof all transactions for food and by Richard
merchandise, we're done using a creditcard, a debit card. So that's
something where it's a change, andwe appreciate that it's a change and will
perhaps may require an adjustment, butit does feel like we're meeting fans exactly
where they are in twenty twenty four. I don't think there's a single NFL

(26:56):
stadium, MLB ballpark, or NHLarena where you can still use cash to
pay for food and beverage. Sothat has become the way of the world.
It obviously creates some efficiencies in termsof speed of service that we expect
to see throughout the weekend. Thankyou for the update on the cash I

(27:17):
had heard those rumors floating around alittle bit. I know some people are
very old school. That's a complimentto people who go to Serco very old
school. Sometimes the changes are necessaryas the world it continues to evolve.
So Levac, let's make a promisefor a pat we will continue to remind
people who are going to this cashlist. Thank you, Yes we will,
and you can you can always wageor you can cash. We do

(27:37):
not have the power to eliminate cashfrom the mutual system here in New York
State, so no worries on thatfront. Cash is king when it comes
to the mutual windows, but everythingelse you're going to be using credit.
It's probably my best chance of cominghome with cash from the track to not

(27:59):
be able to use it on acouple of ice cold frosties. I think
you've actually Churchill Downs. When evenChurchill Downs went to a cashless venue for
this year's Kentucky Oaks and Kentucky DerbyDay. Even they even extended that to
the infield, which by all accountsled to a really smoth events with us

(28:21):
right now, Fox Sports Radio ninetyfive, nine and nine eighty, go
ahead, guys, you bert Iwas gonna say there was a chance not
too long ago whether or not MysticDan was going to be the horse that
ran for the Triple Crown, andwe could have been very much talking about
potential legacy and how different it wouldbe. Those would have been the storylines
when you talk about the race onSaturday of what the twenty twenty four Belmont
could have been. Of course, missic Dan doesn't win the Preakedness pat just

(28:42):
looking from afar. When do youtalk about storylines of the race itself?
What do you think is going tobe the talk of the capital regions?
Be closer and closer to the nextweek. I mean, the storylines abounds,
as they always do during a triplecrown, and in some ways,
one horse going for that triple crownseems to swallow up all the oxygen for

(29:03):
obvious reasons, whether it was AmericanPara one twenty fifteen, Justifying twenty eighteen,
but sometimes at the cost of somereally interesting things that are happening,
maybe just below the radar. Imean, Wayne Lucas will be here with
a big chance, Chad Brown withPierre Leone looking to win of Belmont Stakes
at his hometown track. What astory that would be. And then you

(29:26):
know the other the other thing thatI keep coming back to is just the
quality of the racing over the fourdays in some ways mirrors the quality we
see throughout the forty day Summer Meettwenty four states. You know, purses
as high as they've they've ever been, and you know, finally, I

(29:48):
think that worst racing here in NewYork State is incredibly vibrant and strong,
and the future is really bright becauselet's remember, we're here at Saratoga about
run at Belmont Steaks for the firsttime up here, because we're rebuilding Belmont
park in a way that I thinkmost observers would have thought unlikely eight or

(30:11):
ten years ago. So a newBelmont Park downstate Saratoga continued to excel.
Its popularity grows year after year.It doesn't seem possible, but it does.
And it's great to see because we'reracing, as you guys well know,
is both culturally important and economically hugelysignificant. Pad One of the things

(30:37):
that Gaz has let me know isthat we're not in the beer tent.
I think we're up like the Yeahright, I think it's a little too
flossy for me. I don't knowwhat to do. I don't I don't
get to make my jokes about themelting bloody Mary and the two arm lay
classes. They took away a halfiermaterial and probably all of mine. Well,

(31:02):
hang on a second, Pat Levac, I saw our set up in
the Clubhouse East. I'm calling theUpper Clubhouse East. I don't want to
ruin anything, but let's just saythere are ways in which we can find
a few drinks. Let's put itlike this, waitter you guys, are
you guys going to be sort ofby the stretch? Uh? Sort of?
I call it Upper Clubhouse East iswhat I'm calling it, a little
further away from the stretch, butthere are a place in which we can

(31:25):
find alcohol like that what you're talkingabout Upper Clubhouse East, that's a new
one. You see it all likelike protective of the information pats really weird.
Yeah, this is why guys wouldnever be allowed to find out things
before the rest of us. Let'sstraight up keep it secrets from everybody.
I don't want to show the offthe reveal wine for you guys to show
it off next week and you alittle sneak peek. We've done a pretty

(31:49):
massive renovation of kind of that mainclubhouse area where people gather right by the
finish line. If you can picturethat where the gin Andy barr was.
We've moved basically out into the roomas well as just renovating that that whole
area. It's it's spectacular and oneof the coolest features of that renovation is

(32:14):
that if you're standing there, ifyou can picture that entire rail looking back
towards the paddock is now wide opento the point where you can have a
drink on that rail and see horsesin the paddock from the clubhouse. It's
pretty remarkable. Every every year, you guys find a way to improve Sarah

(32:34):
Toga and we appreciate you for Patmcketna, the vice president of communications for
NIRA, nice not to make timewith us, and we look forward to
seeing you at Saratoga. But Imean the Belmont and it's listeners should should
definitely head over to Belmont stake dotcom for all that information, all those
those items to know before you go. All right there it is man.

(32:59):
Yeah, absolutely, Pat Man,thank you so much. We'll look forward
to seeing you again. Get getyour Belmont Stakes information and get over there.
Let's have a blast. Let's let'smake sure that that we we pinkies
up and we host this thing appropriately. Everyone. Absolutely, Pat Man,
thank you so much. We'll talkto you soon. There. Yours are

(33:19):
guy Pat McKenna, looking forward tocatching him in person hopefully. We know
he's going to be busy next week, but as you can tell, he's
become over the years one of ourfavorite guests. He definitely uh to take
one from Dan Levintard and Stu Gotsap. He gets the show. Pat McKenna
gets the show. Uh, hehe does. Man. We we always
enjoy him being around. Uh,we really really do. I just I'm

(33:42):
sorry, right, well, that'shappened. I get like the weirdest I
get the weirdest questions when I'm backin my office, Annie ices goes,
did you order America balloons? No? But I want to see them now?
Get them in here? Like whatare we what are we doing here?
When does somebody send us America balloons? I'm ready listen, that's gonna
be so cool and here in theway. You know, it's talked about

(34:06):
it. It's amazing. And theamount of extra capital and money it's being
brought into the Capital Region, it'sall worth it. I can't wait.
I'm very excited. Soon, verysoon, we can start revealing all the
stuff that's going on. So pumpfor all that. Thank you to Pat
for being giving us a few tentwelve minutes there, because we know he

(34:27):
is as I joke around with himduring the summer in July and August that
he doesn't have any time to sleep. This is just a whole other level.
So we cannot wait to be apart of all that stuff going on.
Looking forward to a pac summer witheverything going on across the Capital region,
it more so, guys, howmany employees. Do you think they
went to Express to get hopefully alot if they were smart and checked out
the testimonials and the reviews of ExpressEmployment professionals across the Capital Region and know

(34:52):
how highly so many people speak ofJordan Modiano and the crew there, they
would have done that. Whether it'sNaira, whether it's local Saratoga businesses,
but whther it's people across the fivewith eight more Express Employment professionals can help
your business grow. Jordan gives youthat scouting report. Do you have time
right now this summer to go throughresumes and set up interviews and figure out

(35:12):
references and everything else and whether ornot that skill set really does fit what
your business is looking for. LetExpress do that work for you. They
build relationships with people across the CapitalRegion looking to expand their careers, looking
for the next opportunity, and thenthey'll move it on to your business.
You could be someone as well.Maybe you want to reach out to Expresspros
dot Com their website and say,Hey, I'm looking for a career change.

(35:32):
Things have changed in my life, but I'm looking for that next chance
to show business what I can do. Reach out to Jordan and the crew
there and expresspros dot Com their websiteor visit them in the Capital, or
you can Express Employment Professionals for information. Check out that Facebook page where you're
seeing some of the great charities andlocal businesses that they're supporting. Express Employment
Professionals. We're so happy to havetheir support with us. Here onl Lovack

(35:53):
and gos on Fox Sports ninety fivenine and ninet eighty. You said it
all my friend Joey Gallo, whoknew he could actually hit anything. Next
right here, I'll ave that guy'sFox Sports Radio. He introducing Tan side
Stone toime Moentlemen from Games with Names, and we're on the search to find
the greatest games of all time withthe players and coaches who lived in them.

(36:17):
Ever wonder what a locker room feelslike at a halftime of a Super
Bowl or what about the the afterparties. We're gonna dive deep into the
most iconic games with the most iconicpeople. New episodes dropping weekly. Listen
to Games with Names on the iHeartRadioapp or wherever you get your podcasts.

(36:39):
Now back to Levac and guzz onninety five, nine and nine eighty AM
Fox Sports Radio five Here on ahumpday getting ready for flock you, as
well as a bunch of other stuff. Guys. The dove climbing story continues
dove climbing Gregator, which is nowI think we have to do a whole

(37:04):
movie about hunting them. He postedthat this this knockout, this circ to
solet performer was going to have AlDavis. Not Al Davis. That would
be even crazier Mark Davis's kid.Well, not not true, and we
don't know who the father is.Gods, and this is miss shocka any

(37:27):
anywhere because Joey Gallo is allegedly thedad. How how did this? What?
Well? I mean, I knowhe couldn't hit anything in the Yankee
uniform, so clearly this is alittle different. Her name is Hayden Hopkins,
as you may have learned, andyou know she was hanging out with
Mark Davis, but then she's hookingup with Joey Gallop. Good for Joey

(37:52):
Gallo. I've seen miss Hopkins's photos. Here's what I'm gonna confused about.
Maybe you've got these details for me. So the relationship ship, I should
say friendly relationship is there between MarkDavis and Hayden Hopkins, but then Joey
Gallo is and this is the partof the confusing dating talking casual hook up

(38:14):
in a relationship with what is thelabel on social media for Joey Gallo and
Hayden Hopkins. Do we know what'stheir Facebook status? I don't. I
don't. I don't have that II don't. I don't know if they're
if they're in some kind of committedrelationship. He's with the Washington Nationals.

(38:34):
Oh oh wait, okay, theymust they must be in some kind of
relationship because it's a quote planned pregnancy, is what it was. What I'm
now is what I'm now learning.Okay, I can't say that makes it
more normal, and I'm not tryingto judge here, I just, uh,
this is weird. What do wecall this? A plot twist?

(38:57):
Not so fast and Shyamalan stuff? Is what is what you're thinking here?
Is that? I again, Ijust the most random names. Okay,
Like if you, if you wereto you're to make this story, is
this like one of those? Isthis like a mad libs uh, give
me a performer shirt to soli?Okay, give me a franchise owner?

(39:21):
Mark Davis, a baseball player.Joey Gallo a life event baby and like
it's the most random, It's likea news blender. Uh. Congratulations to
Joey Gallo and Hayden Hopkins for thesoon to be baby. It's always a
blessing to have a baby on theway. I'm not being sarcasm, being
serious. I guess maybe Dove hastaken away the excitement for the soon to

(39:45):
be mom and dad. Maybe theInternet's taken it away. But enjoy here.
Here's what I'm a little bit moreconfused about. And let's backped a
little bit. Okay, So HaydenHopkins post the picture of her with the
baby bump, and all of asudden, the internet runs and says it's
Mark Davis's baby. She is aware, she's aware that people know of that

(40:09):
relationship between her and Mark Davis, whether it's public, whether she's got a
great social media following, clearly peopleknow they're friends. But couldn't she have
just and I already know what I'mgonna do here? Couldn't she have just
said I'm having a baby with JoeyGallo and posted a selfie with Joey Gallo.
I think she's very smart. Wetalked about this yesterday, how certain

(40:31):
posts engaged certain reaction quicker. Ifeel like now it's been plotted the whole
time by her to make this happen. She has become popular and noticed because
she never said who the father wasof this baby, right, well,
and now she has and it's it'sa it's I guess it's not a love

(40:51):
triangle, but it's it's it's themost unique, it's the most TMZ love
triangle I think I've ever seen, right, I mean, or at least
it's eye up there. I meanfor me, I'm I'm kind of impressed
with the entire craziness of it all. I really am impressed in what way

(41:12):
that it's legitimately one of the crazieststories I've ever heard in my life.
Like again, like if you ifyou told me that I had to do
this like mad Live style, thisis this is a relationship I would build.
It's how I would build it,and it would be from watching random
news stories. Again, it's MarkDavis, a circ desolate performer and a
guy who was so terrible as aYankee that we couldn't give him fast enough

(41:36):
who's now having a baby with acircus slave performer and in a quote planned
pregnancy. Guy can't plan to hita curveball. But here this is fine.
It's a very beautiful woman. Imean she's all right, fine,
I mean, you know whatever.Yeah, she said. Uh. She
finally ended up going to Instagram andsaying, Joey and I are to welcome

(42:00):
our baby in the fall. Ihaven't heard hrom Joey yet. Maybe Joey
said every going. I don't know. I'm not that excited about this.
That's I don't know what you're talkingabout, Hayden. I don't want no
part of this. I mean, that's possible. Or Joey just found out
like we all did. Was that? Or Joey just found out like we
all did? Imagine? But no, it's a planned Oh that's right.

(42:22):
They didn't say who planned it.Somebody planned it, maybe not Joey Gallo.
Have you ever watched a cirk Disilleperformance, Gauz, I have never
watched a certis So Late performance. The closest I've gotten to cirkis La performance
watching is I believe it's the movieNow this is all coming full circle,

(42:42):
isn't it. Oh gosh, whyam I blanking on the movie with Seth
Rogan and Paul Rudd and uh CatherineHeigel where it's actually about an unplanned pregnancy.
Oh, knocked up. Knocked up, don't They go to a CERTI
so late concert and they decided totake a few narcotics on along the way.
Well, it's it's not so mucha concert. It's like it's like
a circus. It's like it's actoracrobats and contortionists and stuff like that.

(43:07):
So like there's a there's another thingwe have to think about here. If
you know what her performance, Inow need to see her in circus Sila
to understand how this all came topass. I think I think it's just
research at this point. It's researchyou and I are willing to do.

(43:28):
I mean, let's we sacrifice forthe for the good of the fan.
All right. So I'm getting tothe bottom of the American balloon situation.
Yeah, So apparently our our equipmentmanager found a w W packet because as

(43:49):
you know, SmackDown's starting to slowlyinvade and take over the m v P
arena. He brought security security askedif he ordered American balloons. The guy
dropped off America balloons and didn't leavea note. So I think that anytime
balloons are dropped off without a note, the answer is yes, right with

(44:10):
those are for us? You alwayssay yes right a very similar spot about
ninety seconds ago. Have you askedyou if I've ever been to a Cirt
decil a concert and had to say, I've vicariously there's another c SAT word.
I've vicariously thought about this. Idon't think I've ever had a mysterious
set of balloons sent to me andnever had to wonder, are these balloons

(44:34):
set in my general direction intended forme? You know what? Yes,
all balloons that are unclaimed are forthe closest person where the balloon has now
gone to No. I think Icould make the argument that, you know,
much like the hulks here, Iam a real American. I fight
for the rights of every man,So if there are American balloons here,
they should go to me. Ithink personally, I don't think it's I

(44:58):
don't think it's stretch. I thinkit's a I think it's just pure logic.
I'm just logic in now, That'swhat I'm doing. Your piecing together
with who is the most American personin this building? Me? Obviously?
So this is where the balloon shouldgo. That ninety kid that we show,
it's not Joey Callow's baby is Thatis Joey Calo, part of Walt

(45:19):
Chamberlain's group. Nineties kid always knowshow to make me laugh. So wait
what wait? Wait, SmackDown isin there till Friday. You're broadcasting live
from the NVP arena, so they'renot there till Friday. They're already taking
over right now. The WWE onso they send light riggers in today.

(45:45):
So we had our field was supposedto be down. We were supposed to
be able to practice on our fieldthis morning, but the light riggers got
here last night or very early thismorning, so our field came up and
they've been hanging lights. So it'slike the pre run, so we have
so as like so you got toyou gotta like kind of picture a bunch

(46:06):
of people in spandex invading the MVPareaders. So they come in the back.
The worst thing they do is theytake over the fields last show floor.
They start hanging lights and doing stuff, getting all the pre work together.
At seven o'clock tomorrow morning production getshere, they will take over the
locker room areas, the equipment areas, everything. So anything that we want

(46:28):
out of the downstairs, anything outsideof our office that we want in this
building, we have to get outof everywhere downstairs between now and seven am
tomorrow because once the McMahon clan andmy cousin Paul Avec come in, they
take over the building. They havesuch an exclusive contract, so you're not
allowed to see anything. You're notallowed to get in the way, Like

(46:50):
if I go downstairs, I willbe reprimanded by security by McMahon plan.
You meant Stephanie, right, becauseVince Vince is no longer part of it.
You're just meaning the Levac McMahon empire. Because now all of a sudden,
like wait, does Levac bumped intoVince mcbann before? Is Vince McMann
there? You know it's listening.Come on, you think he's really completely

(47:12):
out? Come on? Come on, you saw that mustache he grew that
dude's a master of disguise. Hecould be anyone that's you could buy a
teer and it could be him. That look for Vinci ban as well.
That's gonna be a great show onFriday. I know. The last time
professional wrestling came to the Capitol Region. I believe it was TNA impact and
it was really cool because Aj Francishas a connection to the Capitol region.

(47:34):
His former defensive line coach was coachGreigttwo, so he played in Maryland.
I believe. So you had topDolla out there. Uh. Kurt Hawkins
he has known was in the pastnow, Brian Myers, he came on
the show with us hyping up thatevent. Moose, who was the champion,
played football at Syracuse. I knowthat's not a Capitol region connection,

(47:58):
but upstate New York football connecttion. And to add one more part of that
back the last the second and lasttime. So for the FireWolves finals week
where we were set up you andI for that broadcast. The mvpre At
Arena was right above the Pro WrestlingHall of Fame inside the MVP Arena.
The people love wrestling here, youknow. I mean it's not it's it's
no mistake that the MVP Arena worksso closely with the WWE, and they

(48:22):
had a lot of rules on howyou can do stuff. They love the
wrestling, they love it and thehistoric moments they just they flow like like
beer from a truck. Hose, you know, with stone cold as all
the great things that have happened herein the Capitol region in the history of
WWE. What what is? Idon't, I honestly don't. I can
never remember who's on what night anymore? So who's Like is Solo Socola is

(48:46):
going to definitely be here because I'veseen Stephen from Flock support he wants to
have a mohawk off between Spike andSolo. But like, who all is
on Friday Night? Like who shouldI be looking for when I'm in the
building and rains the Georgia Tech Connection. He's not supposed to be there.
I believe La Knight is popular onSmackDown. He's supposed to be there.

(49:08):
Jade Cargill and Bianca bell Air onSmackDown. It's a little mix of the
men and females. I want tosee Uncle Howdy. I want to see
if there's some random people that's notsupposed to be the new Bo Dallas formerly
known as Braywatt's brother, Allegedly he'sgoing to debut at some point. It'd
be cool if it was Alby onFriday. I don't think it's gonna be
so Yeah, there are some bignames out there, by the way,

(49:29):
more Capital region connections talking about prowrestling. Now, like allegedly your classmate
the Prodate Colony, Bobby Fish isgonna be in town. I don't know
what we're gonna have to do toget him on the show. Maybe for
Friday. Allegedly he's gonna be boppingaround a little bit here in the five
tooinning, So maybe we'll send atext over to your former high school classmate,
Bobby Fisch Cephil return to levak Gas. Last time we had him on,

(49:50):
he was threatening us to do yoga. That's not a threat. He
was offering. He does DDP yoga. Yeah, like people are changing their
life with that stuff. He pointedto me and and said, he goes,
I'm gonna get you to do yoga, and you you guys, you're
gonna go out there and do yoga. And I wasn't sure if it was
a compliment or who was threatening mebecause there's a lot of mixed martial art
moves. He if he was threateningyou, he threatened you with a kick
to the head. He wouldn't threatenyou with yoga. That's that he Come

(50:14):
on, think about think about whatyou're talking about he's got the educated feet
of Bobby Fish. I gotta Igotta be honest, like it's back down.
It would be cool to see thethe you know bray Wyatt thing continue
with his brother. But is thatare people gonna Are people gonna clown him

(50:37):
because he's he's he has to usehis brother's gimmick or do you are people
gonna love it because he's honoring hisbrother's character. I'll say this about the
Uncle Howdie thing. I think it'sgone on too long. It sounded cool
like a month ago. They're gonnahave three months of promotions. It's all
like digital. People forget God Resthis soul. Bray Wyatt another former college

(50:59):
football player. Lot of college connectionshere in this wrestling discussion, but people
want to conveniently forget that. Afterbray White came back after the cool intro,
the most recent run that was startingto run a little stale, like
the the Uncle Howdie thing really wasn'tworking because it was going so long.
So we'll see how that chicks up. Oh so, by the way,

(51:20):
shout to copy or Jay. Webumped into him when we were doing the
show on Friday, So shout tocopy or Jay. He mentioned, don't
forget about the American Nightmare. CodyRoads is on SmackDown those balloons he may
have stolen. Lovac might have actuallybeen for Cody Roads. Oh oh,
I didn't steal anything. I justI pretended they were mine and they were
given to me. Like, Idon't feel like that's thievery. That if

(51:40):
anything, I misdirected them into mygeneral vicinity. That's not stealing. How's
that stealing? Long term? Longterm borrowing is what you're doing right now.
I just you know, and listen. I you know, I'm I'd
like him to finish the story.Come up here and let's talk it out.
Let's be a part of it.Explain to me how a neck tattoo
is a good thing. These arethings I need to know, guys.

(52:01):
I also need to know how muchyou love your CRV. It is a
beautiful ride thanks to Mohawk Kanda gotit this month. Shout out to Cama
Kenna, Greg Johnson, Lindsay Heridon, everybody over that saw try. I
saw so many people, John Lucas, MJ. Travis, I saw everybody
when I stopped over to Mohawk Kanda. Everybody was so simple and easy when
it came to helping me through theprocess. They can do the same for

(52:22):
you as well. Great people towork with, trusting them during that carbine
experience. Love my CRV. Mywife has a brand new Odyssey. That's
right, two new vehicles within thelast month because the price fit the lifestyle
changed for us. Another baby onthe way, baby number three, so
things are changing. We saved upmoney, we found exactly what we needed
for our lifestyle changing and some summerroad trips on the way and the fit

(52:44):
is always is Mohawk Kanda. Wehope that you can do the same thing
this summer to find a ride you'regonna love when you're making those memories with
friends and family and more. Andthe place that you get your vehicle and
you're gonna continue to go back forfor years to come in vehicles to come
is Mohawk Kanda where they always goout o their way to please you and
they also bring you the top fourto four of the four biggest stories in
the world of sports that's coming up. And if you missed it, don't

(53:06):
worry, hasn't happened yet. Whatdo I mean by that? You've been
following our guy Lovak on social mediahe may have an all time rant coming
in the four o'clock hour. You'llhear it all the way next to year
on the Voice of the Capitol RegionSports Fantaslovak and Guaz on Fox Sports ninety
