It's Lavak and Guys on ninety fivenine Fox Sports Radio. Oh yes,
I thought it was music. Ohiint done. I thought it happened.
I thought I finally got canceled, like came back and just shut it right
down. It was like, Ilooked, so there's speak out looking.
(00:20):
I looked at our rundown here forthe third hour. That's what I'm saying.
Good gosh, yeah, well butit's listen. Don't put it all
on me, because this break wasnot me. I'm just saying, based
on the rest of this show,if it was ever going to happen,
if I was ever going to getcanceled, I feel like third hour right
here, what is to day ofthirtieth May thirtieth, twenty twenty four,
(00:42):
five pm on If I was evergoing to get canceled, we're here.
You put this lambmine in front ofme. I didn't please as I look
through our five o'clock hour. Don'tshare it to people you don't want to
share the podcast, but don't beoffended. Everything we're gonna talk about in
the third hour, do it.Don't be a life share. We're gonna
talk about things nobody else talks aboutin the sports radio landscape, especially here
(01:03):
locally. Let's get it underway withthis. This story broke a little earlier
this week that major League Baseball isembracing Negro league former players and their records.
Josh Gibson, the Hall of Famer, one of those players whose stats
are gonna be all over the placenow. The legendary catcher and power hitter
who played for the Homestead Grays inPittsburgh. Crawfords is Major League Baseball's all
(01:26):
time leader in batting average, sluggingpercentage, in OPS and holds the all
time single season record in each ofthose categories. Yes, this is weird
to me. He's all right. So here's the deal. Should there have
been a Negro League? No?Should Should you been playing baseball together,
(01:47):
regardless of race or color or creedor whatever. You should have still been
playing baseball? Again, Yes,what I don't did? Did the So
it's the Baseball Hall of Fame, right, It's not the Major League Baseball
Hall of Fame, Okay, Butthe stats that we're talking about are the
(02:07):
major League Baseball stats. Right. The National Baseball Hall of Fame recognized as
players from all different walks of lifeand leagues and everything else, whether you're
a player or commissioner. And thisis the Major League Baseball record book that
the Negro League will now be factorinto over two thy five hundred players who
didn't play in the major leagues.Yeah, they played professional baseball, and
(02:27):
some would say more competitive baseball, like you will have people say, Babe
Ruth wouldn't hit as many home runsif he were to face black pitching at
least six d Well, now neverhappened. I'm confused because you weren't in
the major leagues. Like I love. I love if the National or the
(02:49):
Baseball Hall of Fame, which againis not Major League Baseball, it's it's
affiliated with all the baseball if theydid, that would make total sense to
me, because you're the historians ofthe game. But for Major League Baseball
to go, hey, you know, they weren't in our league, but
we're gonna count it, even thoughthe right thing to do would have been
everybody play together. Anyway, Idon't know, after like a couple hundred
(03:13):
years, how I'm supposed to likeall of a sudden decided that like Pete
Rose isn't the hit king, andTy Cobb isn't the you know, the
biggest record, and I know TyCobb was a prick, but you know
what, it's just weird to me. I don't know, I don't know
how I feel about this. Here'sall I feel about it. What was
the intention here? I feel likeit's woke? Right? Uh? Well,
(03:34):
it took about three to four years. I would say the country itself,
there was a time where anything wassaid was everyone was like, oh
the defense somebody was that insensitive? We have to put disclaimers upon movies and
respect, right, Like? Thatwas the world we lived in three and
four years ago, and maybe someof it that for some people we know,
and some people in the American worldneeded a wake up call of how
people who are different than you weretreated. There hopefully did come some positives
(03:58):
of that. However, I goback to the word intent, because why
did Baseball want to do this?Did they have the intention of we wronged
former Negro league players legacies? Wasthat the intent? Was it that everybody
was pressuring change to happen across sportsleagues and they want to do that?
Or and I feel like this isactually the real answer. Nobody will ever
admit this, but I really feellike this might have been the intention of
(04:19):
the Negro League records being integrated intothe Major League Baseball Record Book. It's
that they hate Ty Cobb and theyhate Barry Bonds. Like that's the real
answer, because nobody else that Iknow of you could find it. If
I'm wrong, nobody else is gettingthe hype except Josh Gibson. Gibson the
player here, by the way,if you added up his barnstorming home runs.
(04:44):
According to the legacy, he hadover eight hundred and sixty home runs.
But they said, well, comeon, we're not going to do
that. We're not counting all ofhis home runs. But what say,
hey, now, no, no, we're gonna We know what you're doing,
because like if you want to dothe world records, you know you
can add it Japanese baseball players. You can add an inch ro stand maybe
each row passes. No. No. What they really wanted to do,
(05:05):
in my take, and they'll neveradmit it, is that Ty Cobb was
known as a racist. Ty Cobbwas known as one of the worst people.
Publicly, everyone knows about how badTy Cob was. It's one hundred
years still and people are talking abouthow awful that dude, was Barry Bonds
still alive? Barry Bonds has notbeen given a lot of opportunities in baseball.
He finally, after I think nearlythirty five years, is getting honored
(05:30):
by the Pittsburgh Pirates this year.It took thirty five years for a guy
who's alive to get honored. Andhe wasn't even a cheater there. So
Bonds and Cobb are bad reflections ofbaseball for different reasons, whether it's cheating,
whether it's how they treated the media, whether it's what their legacy is.
And baseball thought, Hey, Igot an idea. How can we
get rid of the bad publicity andalso look good when it comes to the
(05:51):
culture of America. I got anidea. Negro league records in Major League
Baseball? All people go crazy. How if we take down ty Cob and
Barry Bonds, load up the pressrelease, let's go bene. That's my
take on why they really did it. But the thing is, like,
you're still talking about ty Cob andBarry Bonds now, Like it's like if
(06:14):
that was the case when you tryto like ignore them, like like it's
so weird. And again, Iam very sensitive to the fact that I
don't want to sound like middle agedwhite guy who who is like I'm mad
because because black people are here. No, it's not. That's not what
I'm at least at least at leastat my surface. That's not me.
I don't. I don't know ifI have some core racism I just never
(06:36):
realized exists. Like I'm very sensitiveall these things. I don't. I
don't try to be like overly woke, but at the same time, I
try to be respectful to all peoplewho deserve it. And I don't think
you don't deserve it because of theway you look. I just think it's
it's yeah, it's a maybe anover correction. Like I think. The
(06:57):
funniest thing for me is like, what did I visualize when I visualized this,
Like how this came to pass?Like a group of men of color
sat down across the powers that bein Major League Baseball who were probably still
primarily white dudes. We know Manford'sa white dude, and they were like,
let's just ruin their day today.Let's give them all the reasons that
the Negro League record should be respectedand then watch them and then like see
(07:21):
what they come up with. Asthe reason it can't be. Oh,
I like that, And then theytook bets on what it was gonna be.
You know what I mean, noone will admit that. They just
don't want it, like whatever. And then they went in the room and
they're like, all right, guys, this is what we think. And
then they went for it. They'relike, really, all right, let's
go. Like I just I don'tknow. Again, it wasn't Major League
Baseball. It was you know. And I've I've been lucky enough to know
(07:46):
enough people where I've I've seen whateveractual footage of the nber League is out
there. I've watched some documentaries. It's it was amazing that you could be
that great of a baseball player whiledealing with all the crap you were dealing
with. And crap is the nicestway I can put it. So I
definitely like all the it should berespected. But I don't know it feels
(08:07):
are you know what it feels liketo me? Go in the future fifty
sixty years uh, Canada and theUnited States have decided to become one country.
Are we gonna put the CFL recordsin the NFL. That's the way
it feels to me like it's adifferent league. It should be respected for
the achievements, but it doesn't meanthat I had to put all the leagues
together. Rules were similar, butstadium dimensions weren't, and how pitchers re
us weren't, and how the actualset up the league wasn't. So there's
(08:31):
a lot of things that were definitelydifferent between the Negro League and Major League
Baseball at that time. Yeah, the intent of what caused this to change,
That's always the way I want togo with that conversation. And you
know, I actually don't know thisanswer, and I should because they broadcast
the games the Arena Football League. The record book is the twenty twenty four
Arena Football League going off past ArenaFootball League records because the Arena Football League
(08:54):
is now it's it's third incarnation, right because it went bankrupt in Canada.
Yeah, so like bankrupt, cameback bankrupt. I really don't know the
answer to that, because it's againit's up to the owners and the commissioner
and everybody else of what league recordsthey want to recognize. They don't have
to record, like the XFL doesn'thave to do that. No, you
you want to know, you wantto know something messed up. So you've
(09:18):
talked to Tim caeper online, right, I think you have. Maybe you
don't. So Tim Kapper is aguy who runs a site called arenafan dot
com. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. Arena fan dot
com is the only place I knowto get the actual AFL records, Like
the AFL itself is there's unless they'rewritten down somewhere, they're not available to
(09:39):
you readily online. So like,if you go and you're like, oh
man, Darius Prince for the Firebirdsjust had this amazing six touchdown game,
where does that put him all time? You'd have to go to Arena Fan
for a chance to actually find thoserecords. I am. I want to
say, I'm blown away by that. I feel bad that nobody was like
(10:01):
the point in person because so muchchanges happened in the league, But thank
goodness for Areena Fan. I kindof know this a little bit from experience.
There's a team called the Syracuse Saltcatsin the New York Collegiate Baseball League
where I was their first broadcaster, and they asked me, like in the
second season, They're like, hey, guys, do you have like a
record book. I'm like, Iguess, and I kept the record book
for eight years, Like I waslike, Okay, I'm the Salt Cat
(10:22):
record. But I realized, like, what if I just didn't like what
the same thing? Like? Yeah, it's as simple as a person keeps
track. And if they didn't like, oh man, yeah, this could
have, by the way, happenedin the Negro League, could have happened
in Major League Baseball in the nineteenthirty We don't know, Walt Chamberlain,
My god, Will Will sorry, will you want to know something? Even
even crazier, I didn't know thisuntil this year. I was. I
(10:45):
was this many years old when Ifound this out. So in the IFL,
which is the Indoor Football League,it's probably the second biggest league,
you know, to the AFL historicallyslightly different rules. If your team leaves
that league, they delete your recordswhat so like. So let's say the
Albany Firebirds were in the IFL ayear ago and Darius Prince had this four
(11:13):
thousand yard, sixty five touchdown seasonand then we go, guys, appreciate
you. We have a chance togo to the AFL. We're going to
the NFL, and we leave theydelete it. No, that's not how
that works. That Jake bed Lock, our quarterback, had He's got pictures
of it, he saved pictures ofit. But he's the only one who
has the records. He had ahistoric run underneath coach where in the IFL,
(11:39):
and then when the team left, they took his records down. That's
not how records work. What doyou mean? Right? Right? It's
crazy. It's crazy. But Ihate the more we tell us. I
like that the records are all inone place, but I don't know that
they need to be integrated. Therecords, which now that's the word integrated.
(12:00):
I definitely want them together because Ifeel really racist thing integrated I do.
I gotta do this second time justbecause we brought up just because we
brought up records back to the SyracuseSalcats, so this is this really actually
happened. So coach Mike Martinez brokethe record for most career victories in the
history of the New York Collegiate Baseballbecause I was keeping track. So he
broke the record and they called me. They said, like, how many
(12:22):
wins does coach Martinez have? AndI was like, I think it's like
one fifty one. And then theymade him second, and then the then
commissioner gave himself more wins. Itmade him the first place. So more
of the story. If you're associatedwith the league. Hell, if you're
running a little league here locally andyou want to keep little league record books,
if you want to keep Cyo orPop Warner, start now make a
(12:46):
record. You know what records arecool? There's a take. They really
are. Like I used to bethe guy who would play NCAA Football and
Madden to break the records instead ofnew yes, new rule. If you're
running some type of sports leaguer you'velaunched, make sure the records are legit.
Yeah, and just keep them.Just keep them, that's all.
And if you want to put themin different categories even like yeah, once
(13:07):
I said the word integrated, Idefinitely and definitely lost all steam on arguing
this one. I don't know whenthe last time I actually looked at the
all time baseball records was anyway,For being perfectly honest, I think the
last time I did was like whenBarry Bonds was going for them. You
know, so all right, goahead, I have no I have no
uh is it? Here's what I? Oh god, I don't think you
(13:33):
can, like, like, here'shere's why I've decided I no longer have
a stance on this, even thoughI do think they're two different leagues and
should be respected as two different leagues, because you also have the other part
of this, right where if youwere a great player in the Negro League,
but you would be middle of thepack in the Major League Baseball,
your records get pushed down. SoI do. I do think that.
However, like once I said integratedand then like in my head, I
(13:58):
immediately heard my off go wow, real, well played. Why don't you
make their records separate but equal?Like I heard myself mock myself on what
I would say if I heard metalking. So yeah, so you know,
if this is what people want,God bless you. Go ahead.
I got nothing. I got nothingbecause I don't again, I think they
(14:18):
are different leagues. I think thisyear you're respected as such. However,
every time I try to make anargument using words you know, that are
more than like a dollar each,I feel like I'm a very I'm saying
bad things. I said integrated earliertoo, So don't feel this bad.
And now let's awkwardly transition into asponsored read thanks to Express Employment Professionals expresspros

Is this a big deal? Hello, a little deal? Or no
deal at all? That's all nextright here, lack guys, Fox Radio
ninety five nine and nine eighty Nowback to Levac and Guz on ninety five,
nine and nine eighty AM, FoxSports Radio. I don't know if
(16:10):
I've never heard her said it outback to before. Oh really, yeah,
well maybe I don't paying attentions inthere. Yeah, I don't listen,
dude, I'm having tell I toldyou how many times I gotta tell
you I'm I'm lasered today, Liketoday's a laser day, locked in baby
like Bradley Cooper called me and said, where'd you find the limbertless pills that
I was on. I'm ready. She watched the show Limitless. Yeah,
(16:34):
the show, no, the movie. Yes, I don't know that.
I have the day to day attentionspan for certain TV shows. That's old.
That's got to be at least eightor nine years old. The reason
I watched it is because Jennifer Carpenterwas on that show and feeling who that
is? That is Deborah Morgan fromDexter so oh show and then I got
canceled. So girl, Hey,she's she's an attractive female that to try
(16:56):
to make a look unattracted. Yeah, she's a hard one to figre.
She's like, she's like every girlfrom an eighties movie. Oh my god,
we've got rid of the ponytail inthe glasses and you're hot. Like
then she was married to Michael Seahall, who is Dexter. That's weird.
Then he got sick and then theydivorced. They had to finish the show
their brother's sister, remember that laststoryline of the season where like their adopted
(17:17):
brother and sister and she started tolike him like him. I was like,
Okay, this is getting a littleweird. Yeah. Yeah, they
definitely, they so popered it up. I definitely was. She was in.
She was in one movie where shewas possessed. She's in that the
Quarantine movie. You ever see that? No, So there's a there's a
four move. It's a horror moviecalled wreck Like Record r EC and it's
(17:37):
about like like a crazy zombie virusbreaking out in a apartment building while a
reporter is doing a follow piece withthe first responders and they get locked in
there. Such a big movie thatthey remade it, and she's the star
of the American version. I'm nota big zombie who that actually plotline of
(18:00):
that movie sounds awesome. Plus she'sin it and she's you know, you
have a crush on her, SoI'm into that movie all right. But
she was also The Exorcism of EmilyRose is the other one she's in.
That's that's scary as all hell. She's good at the scary stuff. We
tease that there was some news involvedin the New York Giants and we're gonna
play one of my favorite games,Big Deal, Little Deal, or no
deal at all. Darius Slayton showedup today to voluntary OTAs after his contract.
(18:25):
According to reports, this quote beenadjusted then staying away from the team.
Now he can get up to sevenhundred thousand. Some reports so have
it in the middle at six fifty, some of it at six hundred thousand.
You always have to be careful aboutthe incentives because really, truly,
the only people who know the incentivesare the team, the agent, and
the player. But this is awild stat I'm stunned by the leading receiver
(18:48):
in four of the past five seasonsfor the New York Giants is Darius Slayton.
That's why I'm bringing this up today. Vic, if you told me
an NFL team had their leading receiverswere four of the last five seasons coming
back to the team and he wantedmore money to be like, yeah,
I mean, obviously that makes sense. This guy's been a huge part of
your roster. He's been a bigpart of the offense. You have a
(19:10):
playoff berth in between that five yearseason. Of course he'd want to bring
him back. The answer was DariusSlayton, Like, I don't know any
other NFL team, And we caneven go further back in history if you
need to to say Darius Slayton's theguy. No, he's not. A
giant finn. You can let usknow across soci media. Are you shocked
by hearing that that? Well,Darius Slayton's gonna be a big part of
(19:32):
the offense this season. Eh,what, There are a lot of offensive
sayings that I think equate to thissituation. So what I'm gonna do is
I'm gonna put myself in one ofthem. That way, if you're offended
by it, you can't be becauseI'm talking about myself. That'd be like
me being on the set of thefirst day of Biggest Loser and going,
I'm the skinniest fat guy, likeDarius Slayton being the best or most productive
(19:59):
wide receive for the Giants over thelast five years. I'm sorry to do
this to you. Who else DarrenWaller's writing sad songs about his ex girlfriends.
So there he's out. He's atight end anyway, But like whatever
he's out. Uh, Kenny Galladay, he sucked when he got there.
Sterling is always hurt. Like there'swho's who would who would surpass him over
(20:22):
the last five years with the Giants. I'm not positive that the Giants don't
like have a bunch of like I'mjust trying, like like every these picking
up other people's irs. Maybe likeI'm trying again. I have so many
offensive ways to put when I thinkof the Giants wide receiver corps. All
right, let me move on.Who's throwing the ball the last five years?
(20:45):
Danny Dimes? What's his mister chickencutlets too? It's it's what a
terrible quarterback room? Like, I'mnot I'm not an anti Daniel Jones guy.
I think he I think he couldpossibly get it together. But let
me tell you how. Let metell you how bad Daniel Jones is a
(21:06):
good quarterback has been so far.Yesterday before Flock University, I we were
talking about the Giants with with Louthe owner of of Kujinos, and I
go, I think Daniel Jones remindsme a little bit of Sam Castronova,
and Damon Ware looked at me likeI just like caught one in his face.
Why I go, Well, becausebefore Sam was with you who took
(21:30):
the time to learn his game andto coach him up and you know,
teach him how to use his abilitiesproperly. You know, he was a
fumble machine in Carolina. He washe was getting written off and then you
took the time Loners game and youworked with him, and now now he's
a stud. Now he's he's lightingup in another league even and he goes,
well, yeah, you need agood coach. But I don't see
that comparison like that's I'm just like, whoa, Okay, they both run,
(21:53):
they both have strong arms, likeyou know whatever, but that's yeah.
So the fact that there there issomeone who's quote called a leading receiver
over the for the Giants over thelast five years, I mean, okay,
all right, it's a classic chickenversus egg. What came first?
Why did Daniel Jones get good becausehe had good receivers? Or why his
(22:15):
Daniel Jones struggled because he's got badreceivers. What's does Daniel Jones make receivers
good? You can go through alist of quarterbacks. Mahomes is now the
leader of this of does it matterwho's catching the football? Rogers used to
be the king of that. Yeah, you could throw somebody out there like
James Jones wearing a hoodie under hispads and be like, take that guy
out of the crowd. Is itJames Jones or some guy who's cold at
Lambeau. He can catch a fewtouchdowns. Go back to the Chiefs,
(22:37):
not just before Mahomes, but beforeAlex Smith. Where did they go like
a season and a half, twoseasons without a wide receiver catching a touchdown
and Dwayne Bow ended up grabbing oneon the end zone at one point,
like an amazing stat that is.I'm glad you pulled that Levac because I
hope, I hope the high schoolcollege aged NFL fan. Here's that staff
from the Levankerley the Kansas City Chiefs. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that
(22:57):
same franchise had that happen. Butyeah no, I you know, like
saying, Hilloa, here's the onefor you. Saying that Darius Slayton is
the is the best Giants wide receiverover the last years, last five years
is like saying between the two ofus, you have the far more active
parents since two thousand and three.Oh god, that's that's how bad the
(23:21):
Giants wide receiving core is. Comeon you, like, you know what,
I'm gonna let that one go becauseyou had about six other in the
whole STU. I could have offendedso many groups, so many groups,
all of them, and the worstyou know what, The worst part is
the people that I would have beenusing in my in my references probably wouldn't
(23:41):
even be the ones who upset somewherein like Loudeville, some like blonde white
woman's walking by a radio right now? One did he just say what?
I think he's dead? How darehe talk about dead parents? I'm a
live parent, like you know,And then like start a rally against me.
I've been trying to get a rallystarted to ask me for how many
years? Now? Let's not pleaseover Janius Slayton. Then I'll be impressed
(24:06):
with Darius Slayton. If he isthe topic that finally finally gets a rally
started against me, I'm ready. Is it Shane is a gettleman? Is
it the maras? Who is thereason why the receivers weren't better? There's
a lot of you ask Let meask another question. Let me ask you
a question. If your offensive lineis a turnstile, how many good passes
are going to the wide receivers? Not many? Also, giants, it's
(24:30):
been it's been a it's been adark, dark period of time for that,
ever since the boat pick, eversince That's that's it. Slayton wasn't
on the boat. That's why it'sokay. I keep doing this, but
I think it needs to be doneabout conflicting reports about Darius Slaton. There
are some reports out there that thereason why he was in no rush to
get to voluntary OTAs is because hewas upset that the Giants drafted Melik Neighbors.
(24:53):
He wasn't gonna go me going. You know, I'm a little mad.
You guys, I heard Howard Stern, how dare you? It is?
The four letter Network phrased it.He knew his leverage had taken a
hit in his contract negotiations once theyselected another wide receiver. Oh day,
(25:15):
they're not gonna pay you as muchanymore. Huh you have you have what
they call leverage? Haw? Youthink I thought he was I thought he
was laying because he figured nobody elsewould catch camp. Uh, Giant fans,
you have to laugh. You haveto be okay, it's been that
bad on the outside. I wouldlike to say Elite Neighbors can change the
(25:36):
offense. The Giants gonna have agood season, that they're gonna be better.
I'm very concerned about Daniel Jones, not just because I've been a hater
since he got to the league. But because he's had three season ending injuries
to three different body parts, He'sbeen injured a bunch. He's on a
big contract, They're in a loadedNFC East. The Eagles and Cowboys are
really good in the Commanders. Allof a sudden, you look at that
schedule the Commanders drew there's a chancethe Commanders could be the sleeper team.
(26:00):
We're gonna do that later in thesummer, but it depends. What with
the QB. Yeah, that isa soft schedule for Washington. Maybe the
team that benefited. How it laidout the best of any team in the
NFL. So that's why it's arough road for the Giants. Is that?
And you laid out a lot ofthe other issues involving Darren Waller.
You know what, back to theoriginally question a few minutes ago, big
deal, little deal or no dealat all? What do we make of
(26:22):
Slaton actually being back at camp now? Is it? Actually? I think
I think it's a good thing.Me too. I think it's a big
deal now now kind of diving deeperinto it, wide receiver room is better,
you know, it's better with himin it. But this I I
I think that they still they havethe right people in place. I think
that I think Brian Dable is theright head coach. But again it's his
first time being a head coach. There's gonna be some growing pains. I
(26:45):
think. I think Joe Shane's gotto get his people in That's that's the
one thing that Like, if youlook at what happened in Buffalo when McDermott
and being got there, they juststarted over. They shelled it like the
Buffalo. The Pagoulas were like, have at it. Do what you got
to do to gets where you needto be. Mara's not that dude.
(27:08):
Like if Maara likes you as aplayer and you're not that good, you're
still uncuttable. Like so, Ithink that we've got to give Dabel a
little bit more grace than we hadto give McDermott over in Buffalo, just
because it's gonna take a minute toget his people in there. Like hell,
he wanted to move on from DaleJones. I'm almost positive and I'm
not positive it's the right move, but he wanted to. Mara's like,
(27:29):
we have to give Hi another chance. And then he played well and got
a big contract. So I thinkI think Giants, I think better days
around the future. Just we needwe need mister Marra to stop falling in
love with his players. It's almostthe take of loyalty. We brought you
in here for a reason for decades. This worked. We did it a
certain way. It's a little bitof stubbornness. It's I don't want to
(27:51):
change what I've done for so longand found success to something that might seem
like what other teams don't win asmuch as we the Giants have done in
the past do when there's so ohreactive to what's happening in the now.
But it is a big deal becauseif it's not the rookie and we have
to remind people a rookie wide receiverand Daniel Jones needs somebody to make plays.
(28:12):
Oh, by the way, we'vedone this for about twelve minutes.
We did not mention that the offenseis gonna struggle because Saquon Barkley is not
back there. You're gonna you're gonnahate this. Oh Oh, I think
they're I think I think they're betteroff right now, buy better off?
Do you mean you think the offensewill be more successful or that it wasn't
(28:33):
worth paying Barkley or get it orboth, but uh both because I think
Singletary fits what they want to do. I all I have on Dable is
what he's done with the Giants, which is not great, but you've seen
you've seen flashes of what it couldbe. But you look at the offense
that he ran in Buffalo when Buffalois successful. When he was there,
it was Josh Allen. It wasa multi headed running back game. And
(28:57):
then they didn't even run after heleft when they were still running like a
version of his offense. So Ithink Singletary knows what he wants to do.
Is it Eric Gray? Is thatthe one I've heard that one of
the guys in practice is just impressedin the daylights out of everybody. That'll
be tough to get a feel on. I know what you're saying, like
(29:17):
running back two and running back three, what old the depth chart looked like.
That's truly probably something we're gonna coverin the summer. Of those preseason
games in camps will matter, likethere could be a seventh round or an
undrafted kid who's in the back ofwho might get carries because that happens a
lot more in the NFL that Ithink even most fans realize. Fantasy football
players know that. Fantasy football playersknow when like October November rolls around,
like gosh, I gotta hit thewaiver wire. Who who's the third string
(29:41):
running back for the Giants? Whatis this guy's name? It happens in
fantasy because the vengeri is the runningbacks. But Singletary was really good last
year. For years the you talkedabout production fantasy league, he was a
steal. The problem I'm struggling withthrough the Giant offense is that we keep
off a conversation and talking about DariusSlayton is the top four of the last
five year receiver. He's not verygood. You do the quick math,
(30:02):
like seven hundred yards in those twoseasons most recently, like forty yards a
game, forty five yards of gamesyour leading receiver per year. But think
about all right, let me letme read off again. You gotta you
gotta kind of extrap late. Someof these guys are young. But the
wide receiver room now is Malik Neighbors, Jalen Hyatt, who's an absolute burner,
(30:23):
and he looked good. Isaiah Hodgens, uh One, Del Robinson,
Isaiah McKenzie, Darius Slayton, MilesBoykin. Like that's there. There are
professional pass catchers in the wide receiverroom. Now that was not always the
case. That were dudes who weretall and fast but couldn't catch footballs.
(30:44):
This is not fair to neighbors, but this is the way I view him.
Hyatt was so good at Tennessee,Like, hi was the wait you
mentioned the burner, which you seethis guy in practice. He's one of
the fastest players. He did sowell at Tennessee. Hand did Hooker if
he didn't get injured? How farif the Falls had a college football playoff
and Hooker was potentially a Heisman Trophywinner, Like that's how good Tennessee was
(31:04):
at height was a huge reason whyhe did nothing last year. And some
have talked about injuries. Some havetalked about he was not where he was
supposed. Okay, now you gottafind out. So I'd shake that neighbor's
hype because of what happened last yearwith a younger receiver, can they actually
get it done? And Singletary again, nice player, but by the time
(31:25):
late September early October, Rolls around. Are we gonna say the Giant offense
is better in twenty twenty four becauseDarius Slayton's back, because a rookie wide
receiver who you can find these statstorched teams like Georgia's Southern and Army wide
receivers from Justin Jefferson Jamar Chase areawesome. But look at the stats from
what Neighbors did last year. Iam not confident in all that the Giant
(31:48):
offense is better without Saquon Barkley. They're a little better with Darius Slayton,
they got a ways to go.I would be more likely to say,
I guarantee you on our first showin October of twenty twenty four, that
the Giants have the worst offense inthe NFL compared to an improved offense from
twenty twenty three. I forgot tomention Alan Robinson too. He signed with
the Giants, Yes, he didone year deal. But what about the
(32:10):
offensive line? Andrew Thomas, JohnMichael Schmidz junior. Who's you know from
Minnesota? Yeah, John Runyon, the kid Evan Neil. I think this
Giants team might be sneaky. Theymight be sneaky. Daniel Jones I mean
you might be looking a little moreDrew Locke at certain times, Devin Singletary,
(32:34):
Malik Neighbors, Darius Slayton, WandellRobinson, Jalen Hyatt, Darren Waller
Again, I don't know what DarrenWaller you're getting. I know, like
I said, he legitimately just releaseda song about his ex girlfriend's ex wife.
But an offensive line is better.I you know, everybody can think
their team has a chance right now. Everybody's everybody has the right to believe
in their team right now. Iwould say, improve Giants team. What
(32:58):
do I got it? Where wouldyou put their win lost total? Okay,
last year was at six, soI would all right, so we're
doing better. I you still haveto move with six and a half.
So six and a half and lookat that. I'll take them. I'll
take you. I'll take the over. Six and a half. Six and
a half, for most sports booksis the number for the twenty twenty four
season. Before I wait, man, I said that out loud. Let
(33:19):
me look Minnesota, Washington, Cleveland, Dallas, Seattle, Cincinnati, Philadelphia,
Pittsburgh, Washington, Carolina. There'sa definite win. I like that
one. Tampa Dallas, New Orleans, Baltimore, Atlanta, Colts, Philadelphia.
(33:43):
I no longer want to play thebetter or worse record game. I
feel like there'll be an improved team. What's your stupid mental reps and moral
victories? Get the graph up onsocial cardinal. Add the Giants to the
They're going to do really well inmental reps and moral victories. Have our
preseason rankings of team with most moralvictories. By the way, Washington I
(34:05):
hyped up a lot there. They'realso at six and a half. So
if you're playing those numbers, Iknow we did the play of the day
a little bit earlier. The sixand a half on Washington might decide if
you in the Washington New York betif they're sitting at the same number,
obviously it can't be a half,so Washington maybe the seven Giants to six.
You know what, I think theirpreseason is gonna tell us a lot,
and that's not always the case. But you're you host the Lions,
(34:28):
you go to the Texans and thenthe Snoopy Bowl, So I think the
like I think, well, we'llbe able to see what the Giants look
like. If the Giants look competitive, but keep it vanilla during preseason.
I may be willing to take theover six and a half if they look
like they're throwing everything they can outthere just to look competitive, and they
suck. I'm under under please ifyou don't mind. Yeah, that's that's
(34:54):
that's I know a lot of youcan't really say how tough a schedule is
this at this point, because youlike Cincinnati might suck this year, like
Detroit might give you know what Imean, All these things are possible,
andrey is happening in the preseason rostermoves just like gonna happen the roster you
see in camp right now. It'snot the fifty three man roster. A
ton of stuff on million teams youthink stink could be great. Teams you
think are great Stink. You mightcatch team at the right week whatever.
(35:15):
How However, that just not lookslike an easy schedule. That looks like
you're in for it if you're theGiants. The Giants fans, all right,
let me let me tell you alittle something had at little truck show
off last night at Block University.Uh So it was it was Scarjoe,
my beautiful black widow Silverado from MohawksChevrolet right there in Ballston, Spa versus
(35:37):
a couple of Dodge Ram lovers. They were like, look at this thing.
Look at that. I was like, well, first of all,
if you ever wanted to get aDodge Ram but have the service I have
at molwawch Chevrolet, you could useCar Bravo. That's the only way I
would even consider anything that is intoChevrolet, because I would still get Molwawks
Chevrolet. And they were like, okay, go on, and then we
just talked about like what we likeabout our vehicles and everything like that.
(35:58):
I'm like, these are myind people. They love their trucks, they love
their vehicles. They need to Ineed to get them to Mohawk Chevrolet because
they also love your vehicle as muchas they love what's on a lot.
You're gonna find the vehicle you love. They're gonna help you get the financing
you need. They're gonna work withyou the whole thing. And then again,
even if you're like weird and youdon't love Chevrolet as much as I
do, Molak Chevrolet's got your back. With Carb Bravo, They're there for
you no matter what you're looking for. Financing, service, everything, topped
(36:22):
bottom. Mohawks Chevrolet is there foryou. Don't don't miss out get the
same experience I've got. You know, God's part of the Mohawk family,
Mohawk Chevy, He's Mohawkanda, butthat Mohawks, it's it's the way to
do it. That was the onething I did. I was like,
I don't know where you got yourvehicles I go, but everything you're talking
about, Like you like this design, you want this one on, you
(36:43):
could go to Mohawks Chevrolet rap Kingsis right there, get it wrapped to
look exactly like you want. It'sall going on man Mohawks Chevrolet to get
those drive in Malak Chevy where theyalways go out of their way to please
you. I feel like the Dumpis gonna be very cathartic today. Oh
We've got a and the Dump today. We're gonna retire a segment in twenty
twenty four. You and I weretexting at like seven o'clock in the morning
(37:06):
about some topics and we have torecap what happened to you on a sister
station earlier about maybe we'll see theseguys make their debut on our show in
about a week and a half.I don't know if that's I don't know
if I welcome them anymore. It'sFox Sports Radio ninety five, nine and
nine eighty. It's love aking guzzon the voice of the Capitol Regions sports
fan Fox Sports ninety five to nineand nine eighty hearing out it is time
(37:29):
a bore? Yeah, uh behonest? Has this become your favorite part
of the show? Lunch is abouta month ago? My second favorite part.
My favorite part is when I leaveit a little bit. I love
that. But that's my best.Like, I'm oh, it's so funny
when I add you that. I'dlove the top four four. I'd like
the play of the day. TheKickstarter, by the way, a getting
(37:49):
turned up a little bit. Thissummer and fall. The Kickstarter is gonna
be every single Monday. We appreciatea certain sponsor who's on the way for
that. I'll tell you more aboutthat is the summer rolls on. But
I find myself getting excited about thedump. Yeah, you and I were
texting about the dump at seven o'clockin the morning. That was about twelve
hours ago. All right, SoI feel like, what the heck eleven
(38:15):
hours ago? You're right. Mymath was off. I saw a calculator
out. It was the timing wasweird because it's a it's a group of
us in this like text chain, like it's you, it's me, It's
Boston Dan, and we were wewere into something else and I'm some I
was headed here for picks cause youknow, I get up very early and
go on picks every Thursday morning.Yeah, I mean you're never there.
(38:36):
We'll get to that later. Bythe way. That good, we're going.
That's mean mean pants. That's thethat's the new name of the morning
show. So yes, And I'mnow I'm watching I'm driving. It's like
I'm out of red light actually atfirst, and I'm watching this woman joggby
and listen, I'm I I tryto be a little more woke. I
(39:00):
try to be a little more sensitive, a little more twenty twenty four.
But if somebody jogs buy and theyhappen to you know, have a nice
uh dairy air, I might notice, right, So I'm noticing ponytails going
back and forth and everything. SoI'm driving by slow because the light,
you know, the light changes thestarting moment, you know, one eye
on the road, one eye onthe on the the tickets, if you
(39:23):
will, and uh, and thenI just happened to turn and look and
it was a dude. Ah,it was a dude. So if we
could do this, I mean,I guess there's two ways to look at
this. One would be that's whatyou get, unanderthal. You can now
wrestle with your your potential homosexuality andlive with it. Can you handle it?
(39:44):
Or can we outlaw ponytails when joggingfor males? Because I feel like
that solves my issue. The ponytailgot my attention and then I checked out
a dude. I did. Idid it, and I'm not. I'm
not ashamed, guys, A littleashamed, but I'm not. I'm really
ashamed. The reason I yelled likethat is because I know how laser focused
(40:07):
you can be, especially when he'dsay, let let's say you have some
enhancements in you where you're very laserfocused on certain things. I screamed because
I thought he's gonna crash, becausehis instincts are that now. He thought
he had it locked in happy pridemoment this weekend, and as I mentioned
earlier, my greatest night sleep ina very long time. I I was
(40:30):
like I was like Bradley Cooper andlimitless. I was focused on everything.
I could see everything. There wasa there was a mosquito taking a whiz
in a tree three miles away.I could hear it. I knew it
was happening. You guys were textingme, and it was it was,
it was, you know, scarJoe was reading it through the dash with
the voice of Siri. All ofit, all of it's happening. And
(40:51):
then I go ooh, I Candy, and then I go closer and I
go and you know, so that'sso, that's like, if we could,
if you can do that, Like, gents, I appreciate you out
there getting healthy. I do.I think it's great. I'm thinking about
it myself, thinking about it,not doing it, But if we could
not do the ponytails, because itis a little confusing sometimes it was a
(41:13):
little and and I'm not confused theway you guys want to pretend. I'm
confused. Like I'm red blooded Americanmale. I eat steak and and I
when I dream, I dream ofthe American ball legal That's what I dream
of. And women, all women'sBut it was there was a moment I
was like, oh my bad likeand you know, and I share that
here with everyone because we have wehave that closeness that I feel like,
(41:36):
I feel like I can do that. But again, if if if you're
a dude with a ponytail jogging,just know there's a chance I'm gonna look
at your butt. Live with it. I guess if I have to live
with it, you have to livewith it, or don't wear the ponytail
or shirt that says I'm a guyon the back, that'd be awesome.
Certain shorts distinction of Hey, theseare the old school early two thousand,
over the knee shorts, no highshorts with the ponytail, in tight fitting
(42:00):
clothes, people are gonna get confused. Guys, let's distinguish I'm wearing guy
clothing what I'm getting the workout in. So I bet you I could get
that. I'm just gonna go oldschool. I'm gonna call over elevation.
We're gonna sell the vac and guys, i's gonna say on the back,
dude one or chick, dude chickand then like and then if that takes
(42:23):
off, we'll get I'm with dude, I'm with chick, and then really
confuse everybody, dude, chick shirtsjust don't look them, dude. Check
it out. I'm a chick. Those are the shirts right there. How
please if you'd like the pre order, Jeff Levak at iHeartMedia dot com.
Check it out. I'm a chick. Don't look. I'm a dude shirts.
(42:45):
We were texting about that, andalso an email I got I'd wear
that? Would you wear that? You would not wear that? Don't look
I'm a dude. Don't look exclamationpoint, I'm a dude, exclamation point.
I can confidently tell you never inmy life is anyone thought thought I
was a female. I don't eventhink anybody means and plus you like,
even if I was a chick, look at me? Are you looking at
(43:06):
me? Come on? Come on? I mean, I'm sure there's some
fetish communities that might check me out. But like, if I was jogging
down the road, you'd probably justcall nine one one and be like,
Yo, can you meet this dudeabout a quarter mile up root seven?
He won't need you eventually. Rememberwe used to close shows with the angry
red sock emails. Yes, whenwe went to three hours this at one
(43:27):
point, I doesn't want to talkabout my jockey story anymore. We got
a good six minutes out of it, all right, Sorry, sorry,
alright, I just didn't I justfelt the angry emails coming from that segment.
I can get my email out foronce, Jefflovak at iHeartMedia dot com
or Levak at Firebirds AFL dot com. This is the end of Angry Red
Sock Emails. It's over now.I knew it was coming to an end.
(43:52):
I knew it was done, butsomething happened last night. Let's just
play it one last time for thefun of it. One more time.
We played the intro to are youRed Sockey? Am I reading this?
Okay? And now we return toanother thrilling episode of angry bust in Red
Sox fan emails, read by yourlovable entertaining host Jeff Levac. Oh,
(44:14):
thank you, thank you, Tristan, very very well done. Let me
pull this up. I didn't knowwhat was going to me, but I'm
ready. Now you know what I'dlike to do it. I'm ready.
They're reading one. Laugh. Thisis the last one. I'm ready.
I'm ready. Should I save thename for the end? Yes? Okay.
Here's the message that was received.Would have rather heard the Oils beat
the Red Sox than Rob Parker's terribleshow? Thanks, would you like a
(44:38):
reply? False penned by let medo? Then email first A leakage six
' nine at gmail dot com.Listener name anal leakage? Is that like
foreign anal edge? I knew theday would come. They were genuine,
(44:59):
you know what I mean? Music'sgone now to They were Jim the music
left. The music is like no, no, these were jad genuine people
who are emailing leaving voicemails. RealRed Sox fans were upset about what was
happening. And then the final weekin May, someone's complaining about the odd
couple with Rob Parker and Chris Brusard. How does Chris Brussard feel he doesn't
(45:21):
eve get mentioned in the show legendarycareer that he has had And we got
the email from A leakage sixty nineat gmail dot com. If you want
to reach out email leakage. Didyou email back? I have not emailed
back a leakage sixty nine. Someonetook the time to make that email.
I feel like you should email themback well, and you have to like
make the email right. Does itcome from the email or do you write
(45:43):
the email into the forum. No, they have to provide their email.
Okay, because I'm just saying ifyou if you took the time to make
that email, the least you cando, guys is reply. The least
you can do is ask if you'rein the chip. There was potato ships
called oh boiss No, so thisis back. This is a long time
(46:05):
ago. They used a product calledOleen instead of oil and like everybody's like,
they're supposed to be like a potatochip. That wasn't that terrible for
you because the change in the oil. The problem was the number one disclaimer
was that they could cause now leakageand like it was like a great prime.
It was okay, tasting chip thewhole nine or CRISP. I don't
(46:27):
think they called a chip, butlike the second you saw a commercial and
like my family, we all werelike, yo, somebody's gotta eat them.
We gotta see what happens, likesomebody has to we have to know
science, Yeah, we have toknow. And and Oleen called now leakage.
That was you guys. You guyuallyhave to put that into something.
You would love our new potato crisThey're beautiful and they're less fad for you.
(46:50):
However, the back door might loosenup a little bit. Guys,
I you send emails like to signoff with warmest regards, but then she's
creek stole at the show. Theyused to do that to sign off,
Like, I can't do that anymore. My new one is hey, crew,
because when we talked about minutes earlier, some people might get offended in
the workplace en firement if you callthem guys or girls or fellas. So
I just go with crew, whichI feel like is mine? What do
(47:14):
I do here? Is it?Mister Leakage? Hello? Anal? Like,
what do I write back politely forthis email? I'll think about that
for the rest of the night.I would uh, I would ride back.
Yeah, I think it's mister Leakage. You know I think or do
you know? I mean, doyou or do you go less formal?
(47:35):
Hey, hey, ANL. I'llthink about it all night. Let me
know at Tom Goys t MGOSZ.You know we tease the quinning cantra.
I thought we had that cover.Hello, hello, mister Leakage, Well
your parents hated you? Uh,what do you need? You were on
picks? What I six the legendarystation earlier today for your weekly used to
(47:58):
be thank you to the Integrative SleepCenter in Boss and Spa. Now it's
just a room full of mini pants. Let's just play this. This is
Quinn's voice. You're gonna hear first. This is in you know, I'll
just play the cut. This isfrom this morning I pick. We'll back
joining Quinn Cantara. Are you okay? My good I saw you like four
am yesterday morning. Look like youwere doing a little bit of Facebook crying
face at four am. You guys, I gotta tell you for you guys
(48:22):
that I feel like, are like, you know, in touch with your
emotions? Modern men. Do youmean you wear a scar for Pete's sake?
And every time I have an emotionalmoment, you guys beat me that.
I feel I took you personal becauseyou're crying that the Firebirds aren't getting
enough national and local media attention. And I took that as as the we're
part of the problem, as themorning show here at the capit Now,
(48:44):
I would never probably think that that'swhy I noticed it. Kit there is
eg line on that stuff, becauseI've done it before and I see what
happens to you I get it,you're coming. Okay, the field bron
amazing wind and I want you tobreak that down in a second. Friday,
and then Monday you were in thebuilding and you came to the door
and I was like, I wonderif he wants to talk about it.
(49:05):
But we had an interview with Billyof the Pumpkins, and I was like,
I wonder if we contributed to Jeffcrying. I'm sorry, I take
crying. And it went on longerit was. I mean, the thing
about going on that show is wewe we prep like they tell me kind
(49:27):
of what they want to do,Like at least they give me, like
like a couple of avenues they wantto walk. I didn't know none of
them were that Like. It waslike, you know, it's like,
let's talk about the Firebirds game, the you know, the South Park specials
out about the you know, thesemi glutens or whatever the heck it is.
(49:47):
I was like, well, Idid, I did take a similar
product at one point, so I'mwilling to talk about that. And they're
like, oh, great, we'regoing through all these things. Else have
we go on? You're okay? Are you all right? I saw you
crying, are you God? AndI'm just sitting there going like, well,
you know what, I'm allowed tofeel feelings. I'm allowed and and
I was, and I thought aboutit because originally they weren't part of my
(50:09):
criticism. But if you think aboutthe first person to call me post the
the minor misunderstanding that Tommy Grady andI had that blew up. Stupid Tommy
and our friends. Again, everything'sgood. It was Picks, it was
it was Quinn canta Uh. Duringthe Antonio Brown saga, I would wake
(50:32):
up almost every day to a callfrom Quinn Cantara before you're awake. Yeah.
And and now that you know we'rewinning, it's like, yeah,
we'll catch it Thursday, like youknow I do. Yeah, it's little,
you know what. They're not mychief targets, but they're on the
list though, not those two. We're not doing the friendly fire. No,
no, no, they're on thelist. No I'm not. And
(50:54):
listening to all the local people,I'm not mad at you. I get
it. I get it. Youknow you just you're kind of and if
it bleeds it leads. You're afraidto put real journalists and work into a
good story, you know, it'sfine. I understand. I take the
lower road all the time. Ilove the lower road. It's cool down
here. But you know, justput it out there, just let people
know. So yeah, so theybeat me up and called me a Facebook
(51:15):
crier. I didn't realize it wasat four AM. I should have brought
that onto the show yesterday. Iactually think it was three but whatever,
why. I said on the showthat I woke up and I couldn't sleep.
My brain was running crazy, andI just happened to realize it was
like, you know, I'm lookingat all the emails and calls for everybody
I had to get back to oncethe day starts to start playing my day
(51:37):
because I can't sleep, and I'mlike, none of them are media.
Huh, it's weird. Can wedo this? No, we're a partnership
on the show. Let's do this, okay, because I've said this before,
but some people have never heard ofme part term. I truly believe
this. I believe you and Canteraare very similar, if not the same
(51:58):
person. Besides the Austin, NewYork fandom. If you two continued this
like you're the same person, thereare so many similarities, not just on
the microphone, but off the microphonein your personal lives. Then I don't
even think you two realize how similaryou are. So it is interesting when
Cantara joined us, I believe lastmonth, watch did you two go back
and forth? I'm like, wow, this is like two brothers who don't
(52:21):
realize their brothers. This is applyfine into a movie right now. Yes,
we covered this. We covered thislike yes, when we were when
we were doing the tryouts for theEmpresses. The dance team back in was
eighteen. There's this woman who keptmaking this noise and it turned out she
was the little social sorority sister ofone of the contestants. So I just
let everybody know that Canterra is mylittle so like, yeah, we're like
(52:45):
fraternity brothers. I would like bothof them on the show for our Belmont
shows next week. They're gonna bewith us next Saturday. And I know
Quinn's not the biggest sports guy inthe world. We're not gonna throw them
any like trivia questions. But ifwe can open up in Quinn and Cantara
Levak and guys Saturday Special, Ithink that could be your opportunity because then
you're controlling the buttons of heng Igot. I got some rebuttals because,
(53:07):
as we always say, you're aguest on their show, you know you
got to kind of follow the rulesa little bit. Oh no, if
you listen to that, I don't, I kind of there's a point where
Cantary goes, Wow, he triedto play him off, but he won't
leave, Like, I don't really, you know, it's not like over
the phone. I'm in the room. You know, you can't stop me.
No, I do. I thinkthere's some things that just thing that
(53:28):
can't tell and I have in common, but there's definitely some bigger differences too.
I would say that he as muchas he picks on me for being
in touch with my feelings, heis he is somebody who's more open to
feeling. Yeah, you know heis. He's definitely a little more modern
day than I am. I'm alittle more throwback than he is. Like
(53:49):
I'll talk about my feeling, Idon't want to hear about yours. I
have a lot of follow ups step, but I'm gonna try to get that
out of both of you next Saturdaywhen we're live with the Bell and hopefully
they come on the show with alland like you and you and Quinn have
some similarity. I didn't realize howsimilar I was to I have to know
him a little bit more. Thedifference is that he's good at running the
board. Though you both run theboard, He's just better at He's had
(54:10):
more experience. This is what Isay, and I will say this about
Quinn hopefully often in this industry. He played like college baseball and stuff.
Quinn. Yeah, Quinn in thatroom over there. I don't believe that
true story. I gotta ask himpicture. I don't buy that for a
second. No, really, Icould sit down with anybody in this market
(54:30):
for a two hour interview. He'snumber one. I've already interviewed you.
I already had. I already talkedto you, already already did your innw
I mean, I've had some thingsthat happened since we did that. How
dare you? I'm not just I'mnot. My life didn't stop after town
Square Media. Okay, I've actuallyI feel like I've grown quite a bit.
I actually lost a little bit ofweight. By the way. All
(54:52):
right, I'm starting to sound likethem now now you made me sound like
Welcome to Quinn, can't. Here'swhat I'll do if I I get paid
to do a Getting There with Guspodcast exclusive for Fox Sports again, I'll
have you and Quinn back on.I've never read Quinn on. I pitched
an idea to them forever ago,and I wish that they they didn't.
(55:13):
They didn't fall through it because theboss at the time maybe not the biggest
jeffle Back fan. But like Ithought, we should have done a collaborative
show over like a holiday weekend, like even if it's just a special like
Lavack and Go's Quinn Can'tara Rock andJock Weekend, And I think it would
be brilliant, Like it's us talkinglike doing like over here. Maybe we
(55:35):
do full shows with the four ofus over there. It's just we're popping
in doing like like sweepers and stuff. They were afraid to ask about it,
or they just thought it was aterrible idea, didn't want to tell
me that, But I thought,I think that would be a good collaboration.
I think we would have, youknow, if you ever showed up
for the show in the morning. But I'm thirty to ten and I don't
buy for a second. Quinn playedcollege baseball dude. It's true, it's
(55:57):
true, it's a true thing.He's he's, he's, he's he's a
changed man. He's changed a fewtimes. It's a different kind of dude.
I need him on the show. Two hours uncut. All right,
we have to leave. We wentfar over. I didn't realize how long
the dump was going to be.Sometimes you never know how long the dump's
going to be, and this isa great example of it. Well yeah,
I mean, but I feel Ifeel like we I feel like it
(56:20):
was a meaningful dump. I mean, we covered you brag about for sure.
You can call people into the roomand seeing this one we covered confusing
sexuality, ain't a leakage Red Soxbaseball and the highest rated capitol or region
sports show in the morning. Arethey sports? No? Oh no,
the baseball thing. That's a highrated shot. People listen to that.
(56:43):
I listen. I sound like it. Not very high number, very high.
So congratulations of those guys. Andyou're gonna join us next Saturday,
whether you like it or not, because it make sure your table's next ours.
I'm very I'm very busy. Idon't know if i'll be there Saturday
is a big day for me.I got a lot going on. Can
I get out of there before allthe people show up? Yes? Okay,
I think I don't like people. We have to get off the air.
(57:05):
We have no more time left.Sometimes you just want to linger.
Wash your hands, don't touch yourface. Wow, Cavino and richer than
the odd couple. Someone let FoxSports Radio it hit the button if you
if you want to
