all about being aggressive. You gottabe super aggressive. If you're Minnesota,
You've got to take some shots youusually don't take. It's about being super
aggressive and taking it to Dallas earlyon. Now, while he's giving that
quote is if TNT queued it upperfectly. He's talking about how aggressive Minnesota
has to be. And over thatshot is Karl Anthony Town's taking a nap
on the court. He has tosay, Well, the opposite of what

you're looking at right now, there'sCarl Anthony Town's not like a one second
nap, like, oh, hemight have been sleeping, Like that's the
end of the game. If yoursecond best player is taking a nap before

across that conference, from Minnesota toPhoenix to the Thunder probably, and this

if we did a ranking of teamsmost likely to get to the NBA
Finals, Dallas probably would have beenfifth, even though that's their seed.

And I know it doesn't always reflectthat, but realistically, that's really rare
to see the fifth best team ata conference, even going into it regardless
of seed, to be the representativeof the conference. And they did it
well. And listen, let's callwhat it is. Two guys who have
a reputation of being tough to dealwith, and Kyrie Irving and Luka Danci
they're I'm watching them any moment thatthey're not on the court together, they're

cheering the other guy on from thesideline like it was. It was,
you know, it was a lessonin being a good teammate. It was,
and they both scored thirty six points, like to like two wrongs make

thought once Kyrie got don down toDallas, they were just gonna implode.
Not not only did not implode,they they played amazing basketball. And

but again, but now you cry, now you cry. But it's just

It was just never like you said, apparently Karl Anthony Towns was still sleeping
for the entire first quarter, becausewhat thirty five to nineteen. Dallas went
up in the first quarter, andthen it just it just never got better.

third and the fourth they did well. I thought they didn't, but but

post game where Luca the video that'sgoing viral of Luca's dad and Luca and

Finley, who for a long timeplayed for the Mavericks, is associated with

a lot of content that came outof the Mavericks victory, even in he
basically a thirty point victory for Dallas. And we move on to totally agree
with you on it is better forthe NBA and fans to get these storylines.
I've seen stuff already coming from theBoston area. Our brethren in the
sports talk radio world. I'll evegive him shout out nine eight five to
the sports Up because they support ourguys over under the Orange roof that they're

already pulling out clips of twenty nineteenaudio that they think Kyrie used to call
it into the show with fake personalitiesand fake names. I've heard the cuts.
I don't think it's Kyrie. Butwhatever you have to do to hype
up this series when it gets underwayin June, you can start as soon
as the wrap of the Western ConferenceFinals. So Boston's already getting the we
hate Kyrie stuff going. Yeah,well, I mean they had that,

he earned it when he was onthe team, like he earned it

Gosh, the last thirty years hasalways been about legacy, Jordan Lebron,
Steph Curry. It's always about thelegacy of the superstar, legacy of
the superstar. We've done that sooften. And that's not anything away from

Kyrie or Luca or Jason Tatum orJaylen Brown. This feels like city versus
player, like Boston versus Kyrie.Yeah, the legacies of those players obviously
will be factored in by whether ornot they win championships, but it's rare
we see city versus player. Wenever got Cleveland versus Miami and a conference

finals where the Lion King that theepic sign they had when Lebron joined the
Heat. We really never got somethinglike that. Sure he got Buddha Bunch.
Yeah, Boston didn't like Lebron.I'm trying to think like Shack in
different teams. Really, you know, all the teams he played for pre
and post Lakers didn't feel like that. This feels like city versus Player,
which is a really cool storyline tofollow, rather than who's the goat after

every other NBA finals we've done forthree decades. You didn't react when I
said that Luca and Kyrie are thebest two players in the court if they
played the way they played in thisgame, Because I agree, I'm with
you. I Tatum's I mean,I think Tatum and obviously Jayleen Brother they're
up there, but they're not.I don't I don't put them one two
ahead of them if Boston's playing theway Boston plays at the best starting five.

But those two guys can They canBatman and Robin your butt right out
of the right out of the finals. Tatum and Brown are fantastic players,
They're really good. But Kyrie hasmore of a resume of what he's done
in bigger games. Kyrie was theone who hit the game winning shot for
Cleveland when they had the great comebackagainst Golden State. I know Cleveland fans
like the joke around about how thefour Letter Network used to take the most

pivotal shot out of the replays ofthose games, but it was Kyrie who
hit the shot in that. LUCAhas gone to a second at Western Conference
Finals. This time he won it. I believe the stats five out the
last seven years Boston five to thelast seven Boston had played in the conference
finals, and they finally got throughtwo along those staffs. But we haven't
seen the championship yet. Performance Tatumgot close. I always love referencing that

dunk when he took on Lebron andCleveland where he dunked over Lebron and Boston
blew the lead in that game yearsago. But now here's their moment.
I've seen one guy do it.I've seen one guy who I think just
flat out better than everybody else inLUCA. Now Brown and Tatum have to
prove it. Unfortunately, they haven'tstepped up big in the big game.

been Boston's team Boston season to winit all on here they stand as the
opportunity to be the favorite to winanother championship for that legacy, for the

playing for Boston. You talk aboutKyrie playing against his former team, Porzingis

could be playing against Dallas And thatmakes me go to this the wagering portion
of this. If you are wageringon the NBA Finals, don't you hold
money until you find out the statusof Porzingis, Like, if you want
