(00:27):
Toys with a Z on this Tuesday. It's a Tuesday where I can see
Gaza is very frustrated. I almostdidn't put my headphones on the right way.
Did you see that? No onewas like up here on top of
my head Yeah, I put over. That is not your friend. Today.
I've noticed no over under point fivesmashes of the computer today. This

(00:51):
is nut we've all lived in.You've lived at more than me. And
this is the history of the show. Usually you're on this side of the
glass. We'll call it where historically. Yes, yeah, anybody who were
in some sort of tech knows there'sdays where you want to smash a computer.
This computer might go down today, and it's because of you know,
podcast audio. Want to hear theaudio. No interviews scheduled for today,
but this thing might have to getsome digital team in here. I just

(01:15):
start what it's office space where thecomputer goes the copier, the copier,
Yeah, the gren Ones. Theyare real. They're out there, they
make things happen. We've all seenthem, we've all dealt with them,
you know, and today they're aftergods. And it's kind of fun to
watch because again he does go pullingNeanderthal. It's like the scene in Zoolander
when they're trying to get the filesout of the computer and just jumping around

(01:38):
like monkeys. They're angry. Allright, we are here, it's a
Tuesday, and we are ready forthe Subway series. This is this feels
important, you know, like notjust not just big brother Yankee, little
brother Matt, not that you know, the Mets age of like this is
the Mets City now all this.It feels like these two games matter.

(02:00):
It really does to me. AndI say that because the parallels between the
two teams are becoming very very interestingto me. Like one of the reasons
I even like bring this up islike now when I see a potential trade
target or a free agent, I'mlike, who would he help? More
the mats of the Yankees, likeit's not there because they're I feel like

(02:22):
their targets are probably pretty similar.Right now, add an arm, you
know a little more consistency of youknow, at the plate from someone would
be nice. But right now thisseason, the Mets have a two to
nothing lead in the four game series, two games to go, both coming
off four game series, both comingoff splits against their rivals. Both have
had absent flows. The Yankees havebeen a little more later, a little

(02:47):
little more recently. Is that moreebby or flowy? Oh that whatever that
is? Well, I think it'sflowy, all right, But I think
these two games matter. I thinkthat's why the the Sevarino comments are kind
of bigger than people want to leton, like the fact that he said,
you guys only have two hitters, like jokingly in a in a in

(03:07):
a chat like a group text, which he then made public, which I'm
sure they don't love that. It'sprobably like one of those things where it's
like, all right, Sam,you listened. It's one thing that you
were kind of popping off of themouth. Well, although you can get
out the first ending when you wearpenstripes, uh, maybe you keep some
of the stuff to yourself, Okay, because they're if you face both those
hitters in the first inning, andthey probably they probably both go yard.
So zip it. We are privileged, spoiled too strong with privileged that tonight

(03:34):
we get a Met Yankee series ingames or more than one then actually matter.
There are times you're gonna hit Julyand August and other parts of the
season where this doesn't matter, whereit's like, Okay, one team's out
of it, one team's rebuilding.Sorry, Mets fans, that's usually you.
Usually the Yankees are never rebuilding,But these games really matters. Reload,
I don't rebuilding, right, AndI think a lot of Mets fans
would have been shocked at this pointin now late July, where wait a

(03:58):
second, we're gonna be in intentionin the wild Card and the series against
the Yankees is gonna matter, andthe Yankees aren't gonna be in first place.
The Yankees are gonna need this justas much as we're gonna need this
when we talk about the postseason,Man twenty twenty four sounds awesome, That's
what met fan probably thinks. Buthere we are, like, this is
what this matchup is setting up for. You're exactly right back with like the
setup of Sevarino's backstory to this themass text. We always can say this

(04:23):
that it's probably more than fifty percentof the games when these two teams face
off, the playoff feel, butit's going to have that type of feel.
Rarely do cities in sports get theteams within that respective city, the
Queen's team, the Bronx team facingoff with things that are mattering things flushings,
thank you matching up on a gamethat matters when it comes to postseason

(04:46):
play. It definitely matters, notjust for the Yankees, not just for
the Mets, not just for twentytwenty four, but for the future.
Like it's all mankind, it's rare. Are you gonna matchup that matters like
for the future, because it's real, Like I guess for the rest of
twenty twenty four trade implications you talkedabout targets, but twenty twenty five too,
Like who's an impact player of theYankees, who's an impact player on

(05:09):
the Mets, Who's gonna be inthis order next season? Now that's gonna
be evaluated in this series. Itwon't be the end all be all,
but all those things matter in thisupcoming series. Start tonight Mets versus Yankees.
Luis Heal on the mound for theYankees, hosing, Kingtana on the
mound for the Mets. Who doyou alright, who do you think is

(05:30):
favored? Did you did you look? I did not look. I was
gonna save that for the play ofthe day and did not look. Do
you want to guess or no,I would guess tonight it would be minus
one thirty Yankees. So the Yankeeswould be favorite. Eh, minus one
sixty Yankees because they're better. It'sthis is here's the deal, right,

(05:55):
you come out of the All StarBreak, you both split your series.
Yankees lose the middle too. Theywin the ends of a four game wrap
round. Mets split with the Marlinsfour game rap round where it goes Friday
to Monday. I think it's it'sit's very interesting to me that I think
if you pulled, like the majorityof just average baseball fans, who don't

(06:16):
you know, not a Mets fan, not a Yankees fan, just fan
of baseball, which team is inbetter shape right now? A lot of
probably gonna say the match just becausethe Mets had such a terrible start and
have taken off a little bit,and they're playing far better baseball and have
worked their way into playoff contention.I don't think people realize, like the
Yankees got off to such a strongstart that they still have a nine game

(06:40):
nine more wins than the Mets.Like people, I think people miss that,
like it sucks that they had thislike this, this major draft of
hitting, pitching and everything. Butthe fact of the matter is they got
off to such a great start thatthey're that they're still okay, Like they
can go five hundred the rest ofthe year and still be fine. They
can do a lot of different things. It'll be fine. I think at

(07:02):
some point they snap out of thefunk. I really do. And maybe
it's the fact that they didn't losethe series to the Rays. Maybe that's
what wakes you up ause you lookaround and go, yeah, a tie,
huh, not terrible. Let's let'sgo get Let's go get the Mets.
Like I do, feel like they'regonna snap out of it at some
point. I think, like thethe rumors of the Yankees' demise are greatly

(07:25):
exaggerated. So does it start tonight? Is the question? With Luis Heel
on the mound, m I can'tdo. Maybe I host the sports talk
radio show. I need to takeGod's the opening segment on your case.
Come on? Maybe yes, yes, it does start tonight, but I
don't think it's the reason for pitching. I think it's more about the bats

(07:47):
the plate than it is on themound. It would be nice if you
get both Yankee fans, obviously, but if you tell me Heel is gonna
be the reason why the Yankees beatthe Mets tonight, I would put him
further down the list of potential reasonsas to why the Pins Ripes beat the
Blue and Orange. You talk aboutthe best players on the field tonight,
not in the top ten, soI don't think he'll be the deciding factor.

(08:09):
The more average probably leans towards belowaverage, then somebody with a big
swing or a big play to takeover the game. So, yes,
the Yankees are better than the Metsin this matchup tonight. I feel more
confident in taking the Yankees tonight, but I think that's more about the power
of the lineup than it is aboutwho's on the mound. It is the
other part of it that I findinteresting is the Mets have been kind of

(08:31):
Kumba yah. But did you hearthe Francisco Lindor stuff it was? I
don't think it was meant to be, like I don't. I don't think
people were supposed to catch it.Apparently, like Lindora and Jeff McNeil are
not They're not good. Like JeffMcNeil's known to be kind of poudy and
like if things aren't going his way, he's not great to be around.

(08:54):
So, like Lindor was asked abouthow McNeil's been, he goes, Oh,
everybody likes Jeff and he's happy.Kind of think it almost feels like
one of those like yeah, thebabies, the baby's in a good place
right now. I don't know.I feel like I feel like both teams
have like a little powder keg tothem and could blow up. But I
feel like the Mets are are closerto blowing up than the Yankees at this

(09:16):
moment. The setup to that makesme think like when Iglesias is playing the
OMG, yeah that Like McNeil's offin the corner, like we got a
Wednesday matchup, you can see howdare you say the Lord's name in vain
and your song by the most howabout baseball? Like I could be way
off on that, but hearing thethings that have happened in the Mets locker

(09:37):
room and it's seeming as if thisteam is coming together and it's a lot
more positivity than negativity, and whetherthat's Mendoza in the duck out, whether
it is fun stuff like this. The fact that we're hearing there's a potential
beef between Lindor and McNeil makes mebelieve that's it. Now. Maybe they
just don't like each other. Peoplewho will happen? Right, and look
at us, we two like eachother, You like each other. We'll

(09:58):
get off the air a leading away. Don't even look at me, rocks
at each other. I'm blown awaythat that's like a thing in this field
radio. Oh, all all theco hosts, they just can't stand each
other. They have to show upto work through the show and then leave.
My gosh, I read an articlelike earlier this month, or like,
wait a second, I'm stunny thehost went out together and like a

(10:18):
public event. I'm like, yeah, like, I've never done that in
twenty years. Oh my gosh, man, But no, maybe they just
don't like each other. Maybe Idon't have to draw this weird parallel of
Jeff McNeil trying to be season twoof Clipped on FX, which, by
the way, it still stinks. It's still not good. You still watching
it though, you won't stop watchingit. I can't turn it off like

(10:39):
Vi Stiviano. She's got her hooksin me. It's like she had in
Sterling. Can't turn it off. She's like their personal Live Morgan. Did
you see her last night? Shebroke the internet? You know that.
That's I rarely say the term breakthe internet because it's been overused. My
gosh, that outfit. There aresome I'll tell you this, there are
some boys who became men live tonightif they're watching wrestling over Live Morgan.

(11:01):
My gosh, I've seen a lotof a lot of video mashups. When
she turns around and shows off thoseshort shorts, got a girl summer Rock
Lesner saying I'm arriving. I'm goingto arrive, but he doesn't use those
words. I don't really want toget I don't want to get any more
descript than I already have. Butit's yeah, I not to not to

(11:24):
not to wander off. But ifthat's if you watched wrestling for liv Morgan,
I would understand. And that wasfollowed by I was gonna say That
was followed by Riha Ripley licking dominicmysterios. So whatever you're into it,
you were into it. Now theaggressive p d A not a big fan
of that. Where did she findthat? My gosh, what the thing

(11:48):
that's going on? You know, yesterday looking in the face of the shorts.
Which one I'm going with the lickingof the face, because yesterday we
closed the show talking about gen zterms and I did pretty good. I
hope that's not a thing that's likeI think. I think it's a domination's
thing. In the mid twenties, people are just licking people. I think
like it's I think it's like abecause remember she's like she's the dominant part
of the relationship. I think that'slike an ownership thing, like an animal

(12:11):
situation. Yeah, I think it'sI can do that, I do what
I want. Yeah, I would, I would. Yeah. I don't
know what you have for lunch.Well, the Yankees licked the Mets tonight.
We want to hear from you ina manner of speaking. Six nine
eight zero. Is that even ourphone number? I don't even know.
It's the Elevation ten thousand hotlines.I just got real distracted by that.

(12:33):
Living Morgan Rea Ripley turned. Wewent, I'll be distracted for a while
about them, my gosh, man, but Mets Yankees. Yes, no,
I'm back. I'm back here here. I am that she's as to
just keep telling about wrestling. Ibet you more people care. She's from
New Jersey. She used to wearYes she did here did said it taught
her to embrace her her you know, feminine attractiveness. I said, that's

(12:56):
that's why I support Hooters. Sheactually he went viral. There's a lot
of connections to Live Morgan. Irealized from ww the Women's Champion in New
York. There was a clip ifyou're not a wrestling fan like gosh,
February maybe March, where she wassitting courtside at a Knicks game and one
of like the WWE talent producers, the peerson who like hooks them up with

(13:16):
tickets, was there with her andhe was just talking and talking and they
hey, there's liv Morgan, andshe was ignoring him. It was like
one of those memes where it's likethe guy's trying to float with the girl.
She had no interest right in whathe had to say. She went
viral over that post. She hasI have to remember how early it is

(13:37):
that even though we do podcasts,we do broadcast over the radio. She
has a certain different kind of attractivenessto her. Jenna sick quah. Yeah,
Like, how do I put this? You know what, like a
golf course. It's easy. Ohgosh, that's what you're thinking. That's

(13:58):
kind of the vibe I got.I don't know. I used to think
Kesha, remember Kesha the singer. That's again that's who I was dirty Okay,
So maybe we're not too far offbecause like the vibe I get from
her, So I used to Thiswas my old vacation spot way back when
it was wild No no, nono no wild Wood, New Jersey.
Some would call it the Dirty Jersey. So I saw some of the things.

(14:20):
I was sick all yesterday, bythe way, after I left the
show until till this morning, andI think it's still Jersey getting out of
me. There is a place calledEchoes, and Echoes this stick on their
door out in deep dark, dirtyWild of New Jersey was STD three since
two thousand and three, so thatwas their thing. We used to go
there. That was the club. How do they know? I feel like

(14:41):
they should have updated Queen there's twentythirteen. It seems too long because I
saw how dirty that place was. She's got that vibe of it's one o'clock
in them, a morning in NewJersey. What if you done to be
here and live? Morgan's on thedance floort. She's got that vibe of
so you didn't thinks she was gonnacheat on you? Huh? Interesting?

(15:01):
That's I'm just saying. She maybe a sweet girl. Didn't she's she's
a data wrestler. A couple ofthem, I think, right, and
so Amory another New York another dirtyhuman. All right, good, all
right, we did. We tooka weird turn. Everything took a turn.
You talk about subways, sometimes youget you know, you end up,
you end up on the Staten Islandferry. You know, I don't

(15:22):
know. You know that's that's right. That's a subway series. You don't
know what you're getting on. Youdon't know. I don't know what's on
the subway. You don't know what'sgonna happen. It's crazy. We gotta
be careful at that take. JohnRocker, it's fair if Morgan is what
we're hoping for on the subway, yes, or we ripley either one,
either either one and not to belicked. That's publicly at least. I

(15:43):
don't like. I don't think itwould be my thing, But I think
I could tolerate. I could tolerateit privately. Publicly being licked, I
would be like, yeah, I'mdone, I'm done. You know what,
this is one of those situations wheremaybe we just maybe we need to
advertise what we're looking for. Youfound the you know, your great your
great wife. Me, I wouldlike to elevate my chances of finding a
woman that is attractive, strong, and won't lick my face in public.

(16:06):
I wonder if I should build awebsite for that. I wonder if I
should have a marketing strategy for that. I know who can answer those questions.

I really really want to like them. Like them, I really want
to like The hype videos were kindof cool. The VHS thing is kind

(23:11):
of cool. And the numbers theydo want socials unbelievable. I think when
they dape you they got like eightmillion views in like twenty four hours.
Something unbelievable that you just don't see, whether it comes to entertainment, sports,
whatever it. I like to breakWyatt, but even at times with
the bray why character who for thosein a files like the modern day Undertaker?

(23:32):
He played football, by the way, Troy, so he's a division
ie guy. He's got his footballconnections. I'm like, you know,
what most of us. Suf braywinankid was cool, but looking back,
it's like, all right, let'sbeat it up, let's go, let's
hurt. I don't think people havethe brain capacity. The bandwidth is the
term I like to hear or wantto wait, attention span. Attention span,
I don't think they have that anymore. But when you have a great

(23:52):
story, it's great. The Wyatt'ssix, I'm just like, what are
we doing? I mean to turnoff the lights? Are you gonna wrestle?
Are you not? Should I beafraid? Should I not? Are
we gonna find out how long thisis gonna be? Are we gonna take
this to like the Royal Rumble?I just don't know. I wanna still
like it, but I'm like,eh is bo Dallas the guy? Are

(24:15):
they even that good? And feelslike a bunch of guys who sucked for
a while and they through. Nowthey're great And here's why they're great,
because they got smoke. I'm justmaybe I'm being too negative today, but
I'm trying to buy into what's supposedto be the next great thing in wrestling.
It's blown up on the internet. The only the only thing is sometimes
it does feel dirty watching somebody throughtheir deceased brothers gimmick you get the sister

(24:37):
Abigail last night did the whole thewhole thing like an impression of it?
Yeah, it was weird. Itwas weird, and and I don't it's
funny because I didn't watch it allanymore. Like when I was younger,
I watched when you when you firststarted working with me, I didn't watch
it all, And now you talkabout so much. I actually tune in

(24:57):
down again, but like last night, I tuned in right when the whole
Live Morgan thing happened, So Iwas like, all right, well,
I'll hang around for a little bit. I mean, it feels feels wrong
to leave now. Poor girl's probablyfreezing enough with how much for butt cheeks
or hanging out. He needs acoat or something. And the I do
like the bray Whye thing was didbring me back a lot because the Firefly

(25:22):
fun House, just the weird stuffhe was doing was so different. I
enjoyed it. The brother pretending tobe him as a bit much. It's
a bit much for me, buthe was probably he probably love it.
I don't know, maybe I don'tknow, like is he trying to be
his brother or is like he's hisown thing, but his brother's not there,
so he's got to be the leaderbecause his brother's not there. Like,
I don't know, I'm trying tolike it. Here's the thing,

(25:45):
Like I did this a month agowhen they debut. I'm like, I
don't really know if I'd like it. But the first thing I go to
on Twitter's that, like I tryto find the video if I missed,
because you can. Here's the thing, Like, that's one of the shows
sports is sort of getting like this, not every sport, but some if
you don't have I was like,oh, you gotta have cable. Most
outlets, professional sports teams, NFLwwwe, you can watch the whole show

(26:07):
on your phone, Like you couldjust go to Twitter, watch all the
highlights and be done. The NBAprobably does it better than anybody else,
Like what do you mean people cutthe cord? I just watched the whole
game, Like it's right here onmy phone and idn't have to pay a
single cent for it. YouTube woulddo that too. I run to that
video first, Well, what happenswhen what's lexa blist comes back? Then

(26:30):
you're gonna change your old mind becauseshe's be hot. I mean she would
help the grip. She would,by the way, I think that's that
I just gave about people just watchingstuff on their phone and highlight. Another
compliment to the Arena Football League thefact that that two nine number came on
a Friday in July while every outletwas trying to send stuff I think unauthorized
on the internet off of CBS SportsNetwork trying to like show clips of the

(26:52):
game, that you still pull thetwo nine. It's pretty depress think it's
like a three to seven on Twitternow or something like that. Some ridiculous
Yeah, it's some ridiculous number. It worked, I mean, like it's
funny, Like I hear I seea lot of people complain about the mall
all that stuff, and listen,I'm I complained about how, you know,
the execution of it. But itworked. Got a lot of attention
for the for the Arena Football League, the Arena Bowl. So you know,

(27:15):
let's let's go. Like a lotof people ask me today, like
what's your job now, Like youget some time off? I'm like no,
no, Now, we gotta startbuilding and make sure that we're ready
for next year. Like we we'rekind of trying to get some clarification on
schedule and stuff before we do thedeposits on season tickets, but we might
do them soon anyway, because weknow we're gonna play. I mean,

(27:37):
look, I've never been more confidentabout playing than I am after last year
because you think of the amount oftimes that we could have pulled up ten
stakes or we could have whatever, and my quarters goes out and finds another
team finds another like it goes andgets into like some kind of meeting and
takes over all of a sudden,we got I feel like our friend Chris,
who owns the Vermont Storm's an outdoorteam. I feel like, worst

(28:00):
case we play them, you know, like I just feel like there's always
like like there's always an answer, and you never if when you have the
friend who always has an answer,it becomes it's kind of like it kind
of spoils you, like he likewith with the three owners we've got,
there's always an answer between Mike Corna, Andy Gelcher, and Richie says that
there's always an answer. So Ilove the attentions out there. I can't

(28:22):
wait to see what what we're gonnado next. Sucks that I didn't get
to make a ring this year,But what are you gonna do a little
programming note By the way, althoughthe season has concluded, we have a
flock University to wrap up the seasonon the Albany Firebirds social media channels.
Even though the season is wrapped, you guys are gonna be out live tomorrow.
Yeah, we're gonna do or doone like a season closer over at
Apex. Uh. I figured wedo Apex as it was the you know,

(28:45):
the most area we could have themost people hang out. I know
there's a lot of the flock thatwants to come through and say hi,
uh so, yes, we're gonnado Apex. And then every time there's
news at least once a month,we're gonna do We're gonna go a flock
you Oh very cool. Nice.As long as as long as Damon Waar
is willing to keep talking to me, we'll keep doing flock use. And
there's moments where I wonder that's theway you gotta do it though, that's

(29:07):
the great market. I don't knowwhose idea was it. You know,
I'm gonna give you credit whether itwas your idea or not. Well done,
by whoever decided to do that, because that's the way you got to
do it in twenty twenty four andbeyond of even though the team's games may
have stopped, content is constantly created. Look at that. There's a lot
of ce's there when you're working witha team in a franchise that if you're
a fan of the already Firebirds, they're not what is it a hibernation,

(29:29):
if it was a bear, We'rejust gonna go away for a few months
in Can't do that, can't dothat in the well, I mean,
I'm gonna twice. I'm gonna inAugust I'm gonna take off for a week
and go to disney World, andthen January I'm gonna take off for a
week and go to the Bahamas. But but that's it, that's that's it.
Aside from that, here I am, here, I am. I
keep thinking of my head, like, all right, so Levac is off
in August. I've planned for that. You and I have talked about your

(29:52):
January trip, which is gonna bean unbelievable time. You're gonna have a
great time on that show. I'venever done a cruise before. How long
will I I be off for babynumber three. You know, you don't
get to be off, not atall. I'll be off then too.
Actually, you're gonna take that timeoff because it might be my kid.
We don't know Baby number two, baby baby West. I was off for

(30:12):
a week, but the show hadn'tstarted. Somewhere the show got the late.
Don'ts West's fault, but show,Yeah, it takes a lot West
start on this little baby. Babynumber one, I took like six days.
We call him, I mean theyhave names now, Baby number one
Rex, I took six trace whatdoes trace do? November? November?

(30:37):
So I took very busy. Ibelieve I took six or seven days off.
But if you ask coach Karm,he would say I took the entire
summer off. He was giving megrief about that. Come on, do
the show from the hot he's notworking. He oh sorry, coaches,
and he's always working. He's grindingher. But here here's the thing about

(31:00):
uh, baby number two. Idon't know why I'm not naming my kids
anymore. What's happening is the powerranking going on? Uh? I was
still working. I don't know ifI'll ever get over that. They're just
like Hey, guys, you knowwhat happens sometimes in radio, I gotta
take calls in your delivery room.I wasn't in the delivery room when the
phone was ringing, but Wes wasfreshly out of the womb when I had
my laptop, and like, weweren't in a delivery room. What are

(31:22):
those rooms called? Not nurseries butwherever the mom did recovery room? Yeah,
eating chicken tenders, Tinese Brussels sproutsnice. So yeah, don't worry
the back. I will have mylaptop and the baby's bar and my wife
will love that. Let's just let'sjust do the show. You'd be remote,
We'll just do it. I'm thinkingabout two weeks, two months,

(31:44):
two months, all right, Well, I hope ever really enjoyed the backing.
Guys, it's over. People aretreating me as there's a lot of
baby trace and in the show forgood. Think a couple of days after
today's show, it's we've really suckedfrom the rip. So it wouldn't be
that bad the end it let's justcall it that Live Morgan photo. We
comfort her cheeks took us right outthose cheeks, they took us right out

(32:07):
of our game. And rightfully soto compliment her, I think you would
tease the why. It's a sixconversation, So I'm indifferent. If anything,
I lean towards I don't think it'sgoing as well as they think it
will, and that's probably a problem. If shout out to Bully Ray aka
Bubba Ray Dudley, who gave agreat take on this, I can't.
He's phenomenal by the way stuff hedoes. But you also didn't mention the

(32:28):
trade deadline. I think you hada storyline that intrigues you about Well,
yeah, we're gonna we're gonna talkabout the teams that the athletics say are
under the most pressure and the leastpressure. Oh, I want to guess,
well, why don't we do thatnext? Why don't we take a
break. We just filled that wholetime talking all right about about stupid wrestling
and your seventy three children and thatthe show is sucked and it's over.

(32:50):
No live from the GT Toy Studiothat's Toys with Z No. Just yeah,
it's just you know, listen,it's a it's one of those days.
We're locked in, we're focused,O're here in studia. I was
so sick yesterday. I probably gotyou sick. I probably don't know.
I think it was Jersey. Ithink New Jersey was filtering out of my
system. I was like, Iwas like Jeff Daniels and dumb and dumber.

(33:15):
I think it was me. Thescene, yes, I know,
the said yeah. I was likeI was rocket launched. Oh god,
it was unfortunate. I was screammy daughter. My daughter goes, Dad,
you're in the bathroom while you okay, do you need anything? I
was like, I need a priestthat just says something like why you gotta

(33:37):
get in here? No, Ijust worried about you. All right,
Yeah, me too. All right, go away, let's talk about our
friends in Mohawk. Today. Ihad an incident where I didn't know this
was a thing. My wife hadthe O B G Y N appointment and

(33:58):
she showed up five minutes late, and they almost canceled. They're like,
you can't do that, we actuallyhave to reschedule it. She's like,
when did this become a thing. So I had to move the CRV and
the Odyssey and my sister and lossclosing on her home today. So cars
are flying all over the place, switching vehicles, car seats and more.
Thank goodness, all the riots wehave for Mohaw Kanda are wonderful vehicles that
we love. I can imagine thestress that would have gone through a pregnant

(34:19):
mom's mind if I don't want todrive this vehicle around, I don't trust
this vehicle. What if I breakdown? What if I miss the appointment
for this? For you too, that would hit you as well, you
know, would hope. You don'twant that to happen in your life.
You want vehicles that you can trustand continue to have that room for car
seats and getting the kids from thespots that they need to be and work
with the air and loss. Allthat stuff could happen when your life continues
to change, and your budget continuesto change, and the lifestyle that you

(34:40):
continues to change. Mohawk Conda wantsto work with you so you can find
the vehicle that matches all of thosethings, and the team can help you
find it for the price that youwant to pay. Don't forget, by
the way, the Olympics are comingon Friday. You want to talk about
Olympic sized deals and going for thegold and all those great things. You
know, the content coming from MohawkKNDA across their social media platforms always have

I was the wife, I'd stopthat right now. I would just I'd

it. Copy Or J was ChristenDun's show one, even though we knew
him. He followed the podcast side. We appreciate it. He's always come
out to events. We always appreciatehis support, especially for the Firebirds.

(40:13):
I don't want to see two ofthem, though, I will say this
about it. When God made copyr J, he broke them old and
then tried to make it look likean accident. Somehow, though, Jay
gluted back together and now he hashis son. I know he said this
months ago. I might have saidthis in twenty twenty three. I'm gonna
keep telling myself it's a compliment, but I'm starting to rethink it. You

(40:35):
and I have been here for aboutfifteen months, about a year and a
half. We're getting close to ayear and a half. I can confidently
tell you confidently that we worked atanother place for about four and a half
years. As a show, wehave gotten more. We have gotten more
requests for people to fill in forus, or to step in or to

(40:55):
be a part of the show inour sixteen months than we ever got.
Because they smell weakness. This showsucks. I don't think that's it.
You guys used to try. That'snot it. I think my hope.
I'm telling myself that the show hasgotten better, and it's shorter and it's
more condensed, and it's the audiencein the podcast side is a huge health

(41:16):
of this digitally, and we appreciatethe support. We're out of the tea
anymore. That's what I'm telling about. You're busy, and people know you
have other obligations, and guys canrun the board. Anyone ken his building
has found out that's not the case. I guess people want to complain about
it. Can't run the board allright. According to the Athletic, with

(41:37):
the Major League Baseball trade deadline justa week away, there's they put together
a list of teams. I thinkit's six teams, yep, six teams
that are under the most pressure, and then the three, four, five,
five teams that are under the leastpressure. That's trade deadline, most
pressure gonna go one. I'm gonnago one. Five here. I feel

(42:00):
like the one is the easiest. The Yankees are they didn't number them,
they didn't number oh, but they'rebut the Yankees are in there. There's
no pressure scale here. No,with this franchise, it's always quote World
Series or bust, and the pressureto make deals to guarantee success is expected.
You're damn right it is I wouldhave done. I would say there's

(42:21):
never been a year the Yankees haven'tbeen under pressure to make the most because
the deadline they've decided that's going tobe their thing. So the Yankees are
one. Okay, this is whereit gets a lot more difficult for who's
the second most team who needs tomake a move at the deadline. My
feel is Cleveland. Like if Ihad to rank it, I would say
Cleveland for this reason. Los Angeleshas been active and they're already good and

(42:45):
they're always how much more can Laactually add to that team. Atlanta and
Philly have also been active in thepast, more so Philly and free agency,
but both those franchises have been active. Milwaukee has tried this before.
So because the windows seems open forCleveland that they could be the number one
seed potentially in the American League atit could benefit, I would say the

(43:06):
Guardians should be number two. Uh, the Guardians have made the list the
least pressure list. No way whatCleveland Guardians. The season they're having means
there's little pressure to make moves, but finding another starting pitcher would make them
more formidable in a tube were Okay. If that's the take from this list
that the Cleveland Guardians that are underthe one of the least amount of pressures,

(43:30):
I think I have the rest ofmy answers for this list, okay,
because I feel like that answer justtipped their hand. Let's see what
you got. So if they're ANRguy, so if they're gonna say a
medium market Cleveland just because their nameis Cleveland, doing good is not under
pressure. Here's my next four.I'm gonna rip through quick. These are
most released most The rest of itwould be Philly, LA or So,

(43:52):
the Phillies, the Dodgers, theMets, and the Astro. So I'm
picking the biggest markets after that.So Mets, Dodgers, Astros, and
Phillies are the next four. I'mjust gonna pick markets. Only one that
you got right for the most pressureis the Los Angeles Dodgers. With all
the injuries they moved to get anotherstarting pitcher would be in their best interest.

(44:16):
Least pressure, Philadelphia Phillies, leastteam as is mcginnia long term outfiller
certainly wouldn't hurt them. Hang onit. Who made this the Athletic Yes,
oh my gosh. Source and thepower rankings. There, Wait a
second, are you reading this right? They're telling me Philly is the least

(44:37):
on your pressure in Philadelphia, themarket West Philadelphia, born and raised on
the playgrounds where I spent most ofmy days, The market that fired Andy
Reid, the market that fired DougPeterson. I know they're in football,
but it's the same market, samecity. Those guys got camping. I
just got done watching Paul George.I got a TV on it here telling

(45:00):
me that George is the missing piece, friend, bead So. The same
city that complains about the Sixers notwinning. You just heard the Eagles rant,
and you're telling me the Phillies, who got to a World Series and
could win, who have Bryce Harper, that they're under the least. Where
where was this written? Mars?Give me the other teams look back?
I can't give me the other fourwrote this for the athletic most pressure,

(45:24):
most pressure, the Chicago White Sox. That's not real. Now, you're
just messing with me. They're notand more than thirty games out of first
place. GM Chris Getz says noone is off limits in moving someone would
help the bring it build back torespectability. What the Toronto Blue Jays.

(45:45):
Okay, we got one. Ourcontracts for Guerrero Junior, Boba Schett need
to get done this week. Ifnot, dealing with them and doing a
complete rebuild is very possible. TheSeattle Mariners with their starting rotation, they
could make a postseason run, butthey need help scoring runs. You got

(46:07):
the Yankees and the Dodgers right. The final most pressure the Miami Marlins.
Oh my god. It's been madeclear that the health the sellers and are
expected to get strong returns for thelikes of Jazz Chisholm, Junior Tanner Scott
and Josh Bell. So they're staying. The pressure is done to make smart
moves. That makes no sense.Jim Bowden. And I know he's a

(46:29):
radio guy. I know he's gota background as a GM. There's the
reason you're not doing anymore, JimBowden. Run, yeah, what is
he talking about? Hold on?Here's the least pressure. Oh god,
the Philadelphia Philly, the San DiegoPadres. They did their big deals in
May, so the pressure to makea move is minimal. Cleveland Guardians,

(46:50):
the Atlanta Braves. They've lost bigstars to injuries, and yet there's still
a ninety four percent shot to makethe playoffs. They could use an outfielder
or two, but no one willsweat a deal doesn't get done. And
finally, the least pressure of theBaltimore Orioles their neck and neck with the
Yankees and could boost their power withanother strong starting pitcher if one is available

(47:16):
for a reasonable cost. That soundslike it's weird because even though they say
like the least pressure for teams, they're like, but here's why they have
some pressure. I would flip Atlantaand Boston. I flipped Boston off.
I think the end of that listwas okay, and it's calming down a

(47:37):
little bit. I would put theRed Sox in that mix because so many
Red Sox fans and a rare case, were indifferent about this year's team,
where that's not the case for Bravesfans like our guy, Chris don Arado's
a Braves fand Andrew Santilla's a Bravestan. It's just perfect. If you ask
them about the Braves, they expectthis team can win a World Series.
That may not be the I agree, yeah, but that's not the expectation

(47:57):
in Boston. So I would flipthose two I think Boston expects Atlanta win
the one series. The Philly oneis incredibly stupid. Cleveland is so dumb.
Baltimore, Miami, hang on,Okay, Baltimore's fine. Actually,
don't have a pushback on that becauseBaltimore is gonna be good for a long
time. The Miami and Chicago thingmakes zero sense. Okay, so they're

(48:19):
under pressure to deal what to dealyoung process to build their future. But
okay, so get good returns. They not do crappy trades. And this
is why the theory of that beingthe tradee makes zero sense when you have
prospects. Now here's the best exampleI can use for this. There's two
really good examples of this in thepast, the Orioles and the Nationals from
the last seven eight years. Rememberthe off season where the Orioles were going

(48:43):
to lose Manny Machado and the Nationalswe're gonna lose Brice Harper. Everyone knew
they were gonna leave. So it'slike, Okay, Machado's not staying here
for three hundred million dollars and Harperis not staying here for three hundred and
sixty or whatever. The numbers endup in the Nationals and Orioles were under
pressure that deadline to say either we'regoing to ship these guys away from prospects
or it's a lane duck situation andwe're gonna make a run to the postseason.

(49:07):
Now Baltimore was not a postseason contender, then, gosh, I feel
like Washington was still in the mixwith Harper. They may have lost out
the last week, maybe they gotin, but they really weren't the World
Series contender. They won the WorldSeries the next year and they didn't ship
out Harper. So the idea thatChicago in Miami or under pressure, let's
say that I don't do it,Levc. Let's say Chicago for the sake

(49:30):
of this conversation. The White Soxhave ten great prospects. We gotta get
rid of them. We gotta makesure we can get No you don't like,
you can keep them and they canplay for you and your team can
get better. Miami is the greatestexample of this in baseball history. Miami's
gone through this for thirty years. They stink, they stink, they stink,
they find really good prospects, theywin a World Series, they stink.

(49:52):
They stink World Series playoffs. SoThe idea that Miami is under any
type of pressure is hilarious. Thefact that they have a franchise in Miami
is still odd. It says thatbillion dollar stadium. No, it's the
teams that are under pressure. Arethe Dodgers, the Guardians, the Phillies,
the Yankees, and then I wasindifferent about the fifth. I think

(50:12):
Seattle's probably in there. But gosh, man, what that is power ranking
level you just gave me. Idon't even know if you meant to do
that with that. I don't knowif you thought I was gonna get this
worked up about how dumb that listwas me. I never think you're gonna
get worked up. I don't doanything just to upset you. Should the
Mets be on that list somewhere andeither direct. The only reason I would

(50:36):
say no is we went into thisyear thinking they were like a five hundred
team. They when they traded awayVerlander, I said right here on this
show, Mets Fan, when theylet everybody else go, it was a
sign that they weren't going to tryand win this year. When they let
Verlander and everybody like when they startgoing further, it was a sign they

(50:58):
didn't care about winning this year comingup. So I mean, if you
go into a season not expecting towin and then you are competing for a
wild card, theoretically there's no pressure. But I could argue you're one of
thirty organizations that have a chance toget better and if you're not getting better,

(51:20):
to get worse. So I wouldput pressure on all thirty. But
I think the Yankees are the most. I think they are the most right
now because of how good they were, because of how little that they've lost
and still fell apart. Yeah,I feel like we have to add Alonzo
back back to the metsic I'll getback to the Yankee conversations, Like the
Alonzo thing hangs over the Mets andit's done. We've done that all season

(51:43):
long about Alonzo. And that's thebig thing about this of if Jim Boud
want to write article about the reasonthe Mets under pressure is because they don't
know what to do with Alonzo,he could have had that in the drafts
in like June, and then allof a sudden, a backspace like,
oh gosh, during contention, hangon, I got a backspace. I
thought this was gonna be an easyone. Post All Star break, well,
slim dunk actually going right here, and I blew it, blew it.

(52:04):
I've actually seen more than five writersdo that. Really. I've seen
writers on media row write their articlefor the game they're covering because they have
to hit deadline. So they thewhole story changes. Yes, like somebody
comes back and wins or a playergets hurt. They're like, ah,
but I was gonna start now hitmy deadline. Some people are like,
what are deadlines? What is anewspaper? Uh? But so I would

(52:25):
actually have the Mets now having thisconversation with you, I don't think they
should be on the list. Ithink those other teams are more contenders.
But back to the Yankee conversation, they've added they've played well enough, they've
added some pressure. Yes, yes, which is a good thing. Yeah,
And it almost seems as if thelosing the leverage seems fine because if
you were awful, everyone knew Alonzowould have to go and the deal you

(52:46):
wanted wouldn't be what you'd have wanted. Back to the conversation you had about
the Yankees that I still agree from, what would lead this off with is
that they're always und pressure every singleseason. However, if we had to
play this game of let's not makethe Yankees every season team most under pressure
at the deadline. The Dodgers areright there, like, if we're not
doing this show in New York, maybe we're doing the show in Indiana,

(53:08):
or we're doing the show in Ohio. Most people nationally would say this is
the year the Dodgers could pass theYankees when it comes to pressure, because
the Dodgers have been more active infree agency than the Yankees. I believe
the payroll is the Dodgers have thebiggest payroll in baseball. Some of that
has helped because of the network dealsand television stuff that happens in the West

(53:30):
Coast. But they've been more aggressivewith Otani and bets and way back earlier,
like the days they brought in likeit was David Price and Asrian Gonzales,
like every year the Dodgers Breddie Freeman. My gosh, every season they're
bringing in players. The thing withthe Dodgers is they've gotten one World Series
from the time they turned themselves intothe West Coast Yankees. They've got COVID

(53:53):
season exactly right. So if you'rea Dodger fan, you could say,
like we should have four or fiveWorld Series fan, you haven't gone to
a World Series since two thousand andnine, so I mean we're just over
here. I would say that ifone team is going to the World Series
more often than the other and theycan't get the job done, pressure could
be said, LA is closer. It has been closer than the Yankees have,

(54:15):
So that would be the Dodgers inthat case. I don't agree with
that. I don't agree with that. I think that more plays to this
system, and I think the Dodgerroster, the question was who's under the
most pressure at the deadline. Thatroster's good enough. I think you could
say the Dodger rosters better than theYankee roster right now. So that's why
the Yankees would win that discussion ofmore under pressure. You would say that,
wouldn't you? How dare you?Did you see that they designated for

(54:38):
assignment Big Game James Paxson, formerYankee, former Red Sox. He's not
very good anymore. He's eight andtwo. Whether he's got a four or
four all right, When the Yankeessigned him a few seasons ago, like
you know, he's probably got likeone or two seasons left. They all
know that we'll see what we gotleft. I believe you might have used
the old toothpaste analogy. Squeeze itout. See too's a little light,

(55:00):
but it might be some more inthere. That toothpaste is gone in the
garbage. But he's at any eaterwho would need him more? Yankees or
Mets? You said any eater?Correct? Yeah, I don't know if
that's a thing to brag about anymore at this part of his career.
Like, look, he's an armWell, you know that means someone else
has got to do it. Listen. I could make the argument that the

(55:22):
Yankees downfall is that the starting pitchersdon't get past the fourth anymore and the
bullpen's burnt. So if you tellme that every fifth day, yeah,
I need to score five to sixruns to win, but the dude's gonna
pitch into you know, six andtwo thirds. I'm interested, And then
you'd make another argument. Right now, the only team we know is interested
in Packston the Boston Red Socks. The hell's going on with Boston? Just

(55:47):
finding like broken down pictures and gettingand getting I don't know what's going on
that training ruber Valdi has got,Like I think I fell asleep last night.
I think he stole one of mylegment. Like he's, he's,
he's. His arms have been redoneso many times. Ridiculous. That's their
newt strategy. All right, apitcher's arms falling off. We got something,
we got duct tape. We havea deal with Satan. I mean,

(56:09):
oh, takes a lot of Boston. All right, listen, there
you go. We actually talked withsports today. Not a lot of wrestling
right there, though. I willtell you that every time I refreshed my
my ex uh Morgan's Tukas was rightthere, broke these right there. She
says, just a took us everywhereI look, Top four to four,

(56:30):
our number two top four took usis in wrestling? Can we do that?
I didn't have that list ready.I think we came up pretty quick.
I got to do some research quick. Hang on a little bit about
