W OX, Troy wgy F MHDtwo opening, W two forty opening,
Fox Sports nine eighty ninety nine,Fact Guys on ninety five nine, Fox
Sports Radio. Oh GUYSI Bear's favoritething in the world. It's a little

(00:21):
uh, little social media battle, little Twitter beef hot tweet. You love
it. Sometimes they go over toInstagram. We still you still call it
the same thing. It's fine.So you've got to be absolutely a static
that your girl, Simone Biles hasstarted a bit of a fight with her
former teammate Mikayla Skinner. Someone sayMikaila Skinner started it, but what we

(00:50):
do know is Simone Biles after theTeam USA Women's gymnastics team won the gold
and guzz was so proud that hejust said terrible things about Simone Biles for
at least five minutes. She stumbleda few times. I saw it.
She She sent out the following postpicture of the ladies hold up the flag,

(01:14):
lack of talent, lazy Olympic champions. I didn't know what it meant.
I didn't know that Michaila Skinner haddone an interview just just a couple
days ago where she said, quote, a lot of the girls don't work
as hard. The girls just don'thave to work have the work. Ethic
went on to say, Rush isnot in it, so it's a little

(01:38):
easier all that stuff. She didat one point literally say after Simone.
So like she said, like SimoneBiles has the work out of it,
but everybody else it was kind oflazy compared to her squad that got silvers
and bronzes. So that's why thathappened. Then everyone piled on kept coming

(02:02):
at MICHAELA Skinner. Simoone Biles postedthis morning that she had been blocked by
MICHAELA. Skinner. So God,this is everything you love. It's caddy,
it's drama. They're doing it publicly, you can see it. You
must love Simone Biles right now forcalling her out. I gonna add a
little bit more to the story too. Like MICHAELA maul Rooney, who was

(02:23):
one of her former teammates. Youmight remember her, Yeah, growing viral
from the Unimpressed vase and she andshe also puts out some She said she
was so embarrassed, you might changeYes, she said she was so embarrassed,
she MICHAELA. Maul Rooney might changeher first name. So now I
have to apologize for my first name. Yeah, so come on, man,

(02:43):
Smoan Biles giving you what you love, gold medals and smack top.
I do like that. I do. I can't deny it. I cannot
deny that Simone Biles did give mecontent and stuff that I've been triggered by.
I have been following this, I'vebeen watching the back and forth.
There's another term are using that wecan't say on the radio that I actually
find very cool, very interesting.Uh. I don't think I can code

(03:07):
that well enough for radio. Butlet's say, let's say, if you
mess around, you'll find out yeah, okay, that's good enough around and
find out everybody says it. Yeah, that's that's somehow coded in some of
these posts too. I guess thisis one thing though that I just posted
a picture of them all with heartsyes, and I guess it's the team

(03:29):
they like. You mentioned the referencethere about Mikayla Skinner. I'd like the
idea that she's defending your teammates.Like one of the things I said about
some Moon violence was then it feltlike it was always about her and she
had the goat stuff, and thenshe didn't live up to what we thought
she would be. But this isa team victory and she's been a great
teammate and sticking up for I'm givingher love on this one. I will
give her love on this I Iwant to point out that gold medal.

(03:53):
Nah, she still sucks. She'snot she's overrated, she's not that good
talk smack on on on Instagram orwherever. Ah. She's winning me over.
Being a good teammate is how Iwould phrase it. But I do,
I do have to admit this.I don't understand this, and I
think it's an age thing. Andif you are somebody who's in their mid

(04:13):
twenties, if you're somebody who's ateenager, whoever might be, if you've
had a niece and nephew, somebodywho listens to this show, maybe you're
the aunt, the uncle, thedad. This is just a generational thing
that I have to accept that Ijust don't get. She some own Biles,
the most decorated female gymnast of alltime in American history. Maybe gender
excluded, male or female. She'sthe greatest gymnast ever. She has just

(04:38):
had her accomplishment. She has donesomething that she's come back from three years
ago. She's won the gold medal, she is on the best team in
the world, and the first thingshe does is go to Instagram. She
wants to talk smack on her scriptNow. Maybe she wants the love,
she wants to support, she wantsto improve her brand, she wants people
to talk about. Maybe I feellike this is just a generational thing that

(05:02):
if I accomplished what I wanted themost in my life in my career,
I wouldn't talk smack on social media. I might post about it, I
might share, but I don't knowif I like would go to a hater
immediately after a great accomplishment, likenegativity based post. But that's just generational
thing. Like look, have Italked smack about people where we used to

(05:25):
work? Of course? Have Iused social media platform to engage in rivalries
both media wise and team wise?Guess? But I that's the part.
I guess I'm missing here a littlebit. I find some of it cool,
but I you know what I mean? Do you mean I think you
would one when we had the whenwe when we had great ratings early on
in this experiment, I know youposted about I did, but I didn't

(05:49):
like do the Mikayla Skinner reference.I didn't like, say like negativity.
I didn't. I feel like itwas more positively radio so we didn't have
to you didn't have to post itbecause we laughed at them publicly on the
radio. Of course. See that'sthe difference. We can do that we
still did. We're no better,we are no better. Stop it,

(06:11):
yeah, yeah, knock it all. I don't use I'm not negative on
social media, and I know fora fact, and I just sucks.
I can't think of one off thetop of my head. Matthew, Bob
is losing it right now. Somebodyhas done this, They've done these kind
of posts, and you've been allabout it. I don't I can't think
of who it was. But thisis because again, for whatever reason,

(06:34):
you don't like her, you don'tlike JJ Watt. You know, like
Simone Biles, you know you're playing. You've got a list of people and
they could literally go on and someoneBiles right now could post the cure for
cancer is semi chilled orange juice, and you'd be like, ah had to
go to social media with it,didn't You couldn't just get somebody to semi

(06:57):
chilled orange juice, could you like, meanwhile, le, you know,
Carmelo Anthony could put a picture ofhis own poop on on there, you'd
be like, that's amazing, that'sthat. The fact that he is willing
to share that kind of personal justsituation with all of us just speaks to
what a great man he is.Hashtag brave. I'm not a fan of

(07:21):
Miles. I thought I was gettingthere. I thought I was gonna get
this. This is the time toget there, like, I love it.
I like MICHAELA. Skinner said whatshe thought. I think these girls
are kind of lazy compared to youknow what I've seen in the past and
come right for If you're going tosay stuff like that, you gotta know
something's coming for you. She musthave thought it was in her whole,

(07:45):
like with her whole being, thatthey were going to get a bronze medal
or worse. Yes, I believethat, yes, And then when they
got the goal, She's like, damn it, it's not that work.
And I wish I could come outhere and say, like the take of
hey, the drama over shadows themoment. People are gonna remember this drama
instead of the result. That's nottrue, they're gonna remember the drama like

(08:05):
it's not. I'll give you agreat example of this happening of the last
ten years, Okay, Lolo Jones. Lolo Jones was expected to win the
gold medal in her Olympic, notthe one where she fell, but where
she ran again, and she wonbronze, and she was the most hyped
and if you remember correctly go backgoing into the meat Lolo's teammates in very

(08:26):
similar fashion of this story years ago, people who'd run against her said she's
the most overrated. She hasn't accomplishedanything. I think it was a local
story that ran as well. Lologot the bronze, and the women who
won the gold and the silver wenton and kind of talked a little smack.
They're like, it wasn't always aboutus. We didn't get all the
attention. I remember that. Ihave no idea what their names are.

(08:46):
No I can tell you the storyof the drama behind it. This will
happen to me again four years fromnow. I will remember that Simone Biles
went to Instagram, puffed out herchest a little bit, backed it up.
She probably saw the hate she gotthe last years defended her teammates and
said, look, we want thegold. I guarantee you. I'm gonna
forget Mikayla Skinner's name, but I'llremember this. Like, so the idea

(09:07):
of like playing into the drama inthe storyline and what people are gonna carry
there is some truth to that.Does it overshadow the metal in the moment?
Maybe probably it does, but I'llremember this. I'm just not thrilled
that she, like if she's gonnacall herself to go, if she's gonna
call herself the greatest of all time. Imagine if Michael Jordan was on social
media. Maybe that's maybe that's thecopic I'm really interested in, Like,

(09:28):
do you think Jordan would have donethis like Lebron does it? He does,
like other athletes do it. Theyengage in sociould they go with haters.
I wonder what Michael Jordan would havedone. Can we get Jordan on
Twitter or Instagram? Because I wantto see if he jump in the comments
and fight people like you're looking forLarry Bird, because I don't think I
think Jordan's Jordan's smart enough to knowthat there's certain doors you don't open.

(09:50):
Because if you if Jordan goes andstarts to actually like out out in people
saying this sock. This The lengththat these people will go to to find
proof that he bet on basketball orsomething else or whatever is obscene, and
he probably knows that. Plus,Jordan's number one motive in life right now
is selly sneakers. He's not gonnasay something that could potentially hurt the sales

(10:13):
of a sneaker. You know, why don't you come out publicly against this
this because Republicans buy sneakers too.Like it's Jordan, not the guy Larry
Byrd. On the other hand,Larry Byrd might come out and tell somebody
that trash. He might be willingto do it. I feel like he
might do it. That's why Ifeel like it continues to go back to
an age like a generational thing, because I just can only like Larry Bird
talks smack Jordan At the seventy fiveanniversary of the seventy five Best Players,

(10:37):
they set him in Magic Out ofthe Gates. DAYN Wade shared the story
I Believe Here on iHeartMedia download thedayn Wade Podcast that he shared the story
that like Jordan is talking smack andlike acting like he wants to play right
now. But I just can't imaginelike Larry Bird or Michael Jordan. And
again it's a generational thing. Canyou imagine if Michael Jordan was arguing on
Twitter with Lebron Rules twenty three andLebron Rules has fifty followers and spells it

(11:01):
with three z's, and you'd belike, I don't care what Lebron Rules
twenty three with an egg emoji thinksabout my basketball career. But other people.
But he also isn't a twenty sevenyear old girl who's lived a really
sheltered life because everything's been about gymnasticsand grew up on social media, Like
this is the normal for her. It's not normal for a sixty year old
Michael Jordan. It's normal for atwenty seven year old born in nineteen ninety

(11:26):
seven. And I would do ittoo. So whatever, Yeah, it's
because you don't like her, that'swhat it is. If you liked her,
this would all be great. IfCarmelo said he was the goat,
You're like, yeah, you are. If Carmelo said that other people were
lazy, You're like, yep, they are like this, you know,

(11:46):
listen, just it's Okay, youknow what this, admit it. You
know what's really going to put mein a pickle. You know what's really
gonna get me in a not apretzel. This upcoming year is if haters
people start looking at mac basketball, people start trashing Siena this year, and
coach Jerry McNamara starts doing this like, here's what's gonna kill me Lavac.

(12:07):
I could be that person if Istart talking smack about Siena basketball, which
Sienna fan, I hate to dothis to you now in July? Can
we calm down a little bit? Some Siena fans are telling me this will
be the first team that never hasanybody transfer. Can we can we hump
their brakes a little bit? Butif I say they're gonna go five hundred,

(12:30):
guess what this could I could beMikayla Skinner to Jerry McNamara. So
that's what's got me in a pretzel. As much as I want to keep
talking about some own biles, Imight live this karma. Jerry McNamara might
hear something that I say and Iam trashing Skinna, and he might post.
Even though he's older than me,he might love it from his eighteen
nineteen year old players. This couldbe me, and I need to be

(12:52):
careful. It could be you.It could be you Levak, They could
seek you out. I mean, you've seriously, you've sort of lived this
though, Like we sort of didthis during the Arena football. The people
found a lot of things you saidand then made that bulletin board material for
their teams across multiple cities in thispast year. I don't care if I
say it I mean it so oror it's an obvious joke and you can't

(13:15):
you can't understand it. I don'tcare. I don't have a problem with
it, like at all. Itis what it is like, It's the
world we live in. I tryit, and my rules are the same.
You have heard me awkwardly manage aconversation because we've had a conversation somebody
wasn't in and I say something aboutthat person, and then I go to

(13:35):
them and I go, hey, listen, doesn't make any sense year right
now. But I just said this. It was I thought it was funny
whatever, blah blah blah. ButI don't say things behind your back,
and I'll say to your face,I don't do it because I don't care.
I'd rather get it over with.Yes, I feel like the lesson
should be and I will try totake this advice. I feel like I've
done this. Somebody might call meout and Sam wrung. I feel like

(13:56):
when you celebrate accomplishments in life, whether it's a career accomplishment, a family
accomplishment, a sales accomplishment, ifthe first thing is to think about other
people, then maybe you've got yourpriorities the wrong. Oh. It depends
though, because there's people who justthey you know, you rave up Jordan,
and I took that personally like there'speople that need the shot, that

(14:18):
like it and it's fun and it'sand there is like there is a part
of it from time to time thatyou know. I. I love that
I achieved this, but I alsoknow how much you hate me, and
I know how much you wanted meto fail. And I just want you
to know that I see you,and I gets hysterical. I don't know
what just sparked this memory in myhead. You and I have never talked

(14:39):
about. What am I about thereference? You may have already noticed it,
or he may have never noticed it, and you're about to notice it.
Live on the air here, didyou know somebody took a shot at
us at the arenable following the game? No? You and I gosh,
oh is it that dude? Yeah? What do you say? Oh?
I was literally gonna say something niceabout him. Do he say that's funny?

(15:01):
We are gonna do this line onthe air. Okay, okay,
I didn't. I didn't hear it. So I was tracking the arena,
bawl watching on CBS Sports, notworking. We're going into the night.
Anthony Carter, I actually don't rememberhis name. I think it's Anthony Carter
inside arena whoever, I really don'tremember. Following the arena ball, he

(15:22):
took a picture of the Billings outlaw. The journalists covering the game took a
picture of them winning the championship ina row. Sorry to be the grim
reaper for Albany fans. I thoughtyou did a good job cover the game
too. But the bottom line, that's funny because he never got as much
attention as he did when he whenhe came at us. I know,
but like you're covering the game, you're not a part of this man.

(15:43):
Nobody cares what you like. No, that's part of coverage, dude,
But that's but what what is thewhateverbody does? We're living rent free in
his head. That's fine. Ithink that's great because that just shows you're
as miserable as I am. Atthat point. I just saw the reference.
I remember when I saw it,like it was like midnight. I'm
just scrolling through arena bawl. I'mdoing like the scroll before sleep, and
I'm like, I don't want toengage in this night now. And I

(16:07):
just really forgot about until we didthe Simone bile so she just the amount
of people were like, oh good, all Buty needed to be humbled.
Okay, Well two things. Idon't feel as though we need to be
humbled. I think we're confident.And I think when you've achieved what we've
all been able to achieve, youhave that right to be confident. And
two, if you think we're humble, we ain't. We're ready. We're

(16:33):
reloading, baby, We're excited.I was in I was in an owner's

may be able to answer. Wethought the presidential addresses were done. The
fact that you said you had anowner's call yesterday. Not only did you
have an owner's call yesterday, youtold me yesterday you're gonna have an owner's

(22:56):
call and I called during it.It felt so awful I had I had
my own tea. I wanted tospill DS too busy, another drama?
You love the drama. I'm sureyou didn't run to Instagram and post it.
Take that, Simone Biles. We'vegot three hours and when there's drama,
it's gonna help us. Phil.Do you hate on Simone Biles,
JJ Watt and other really popular peopleand hope that they'll notice one day and

(23:18):
you'll get like you'll get clout becausethey'll notice you. No, I don't
like when Christian Layner have noticed me, and it was like it was kind
of a big deal for a second, Like is that what you're hoping for?
No? I remember I had towrite I no longer hate Christian Layner
for him to like acknowledge my existence. So many people are so much better
at that, Like trolling is maybethe way to phrase it, but like,

(23:40):
is this combative going at people thatthey will get a reaction. I'm
not good at that, so Iknow I'll never get the reaction. You
know, it was actually really goodat it is our guy Ken and Latham.
I don't know if Ken will admithow funny he was on Twitter.
He used to go at our guyColin Cowhard, and Colard would go back
and Ket. I hope Ken's Iremember that Ken Ken had Ken's Ken's brain
is set up to make a singularpoint and like some people hear that and

(24:06):
be like, oh, is hetrying to insult? No, I'm saying
that like when you can when youcan cut through all the other noise and
only hear the fact that the pointthat that person's making that truly upset you.
And then address it perfectly. That'swhat Ken can do. It's it's
a very much a compliment. That'swhy he's a great caller, because other
callers don't do that, and it'snuts, but it does. Oh so

(24:26):
let's talk about the owners call. The owner's call was with the eight teams
in the Arena Football League? Nowor there are other people on the call,
or can you not answer that? The Jerry Curs was on the call,
UH Commissioner Fisher was on the call. Gary Kompton was on the call,
the director of Football ops. That'sabout all I really feel like comfortable

(24:48):
saying with this time. Okay, all right, I like that answer actually
a lot. I'll move off ofthat though. Was the discussion about the
ownership all about what twenty twenty fiveis already gonna look like? Boo?
What else are we talking about?Little? No, we were just saying,
hey, how you guys do andmiss you thinking about you guys.

(25:11):
We're all in, we're all in. We're all in tubs with bubble bats,
reading books, talking to each other, just checking in. It could
have been about everybody doing, couldhave been about how twenty twenty four ended
and whether you think that we wouldwait till this to talk about the end
of twenty twenty. No one informedme about other owner calls. I don't
know how many have been. Onehundred percent told you because I couldn't get
on the one because we were stuckhere. Oh yeah, that was an

(25:32):
owner call. I wonder if thisout Bill Parson. By the way,
I'm not an owner, so Ireally don't even be on the calls.
But they liked me for some reason. All right, it was about twenty
twenty five. Boo, was theretalks about when the season will kick off?
How about that? Yes? Okay, uh is there? Oh gosh,
I know you want to answer this, but I have to ask it.

(25:52):
Let's say, for instance, areally smart some would call Simone Biles
non fit radio host and all.But he had suggested in the past that
leagues like the IFL, who havegone through some issues for their championship game.
If you missed that story, Iknow they put out an apology about
the production value or lack thereofn theirchampionship, which is a good movement there.
Yeah, I think it was.I agree, But the IFL has

(26:15):
been in the news for the wrongreasons and the wrong times. The na
L has had movement with franchises, and they the National Arena League formerly where
the Empire played before the Area FootballLeague. You've had movements with franchises and
the AFL. I suggested that can'twe just all come together like the pro
wrestling territories of the past, itbecome one. Did anyone listen to the

(26:36):
show and take my idea into thatconsideration during the call? As an officer
of a team that is in theAFL, I don't think I can legally
comment on other leagues, but no, I would love that. I don't
think that's the thing. Though. You have to remember, in order for
leagues to combine, the two leagueshave to one decide who's going to be
the leader, who's going to bein charge, and then they have to

(26:56):
go through they have to accept aunified rule throughout. And that's I mean
in the past. Like I cantalk about the past, the NL and
the IFL one talked at one pointyears and years ago. But you couldn't
get an agreement on payscale nets substitution, like they couldn't agree who was going

(27:18):
to be the commissioner, Like youcouldn't get those to agree on that let
me go back to that, andthat makes sense to me. I'm going
to pass on any follow ups onthat because that makes sense to me,
and I hope it makes sense toour fans who love indoor football or arena
football, because that's a lot thatwould have to get done and if people
are happy for what they're doing, let them do their thing. Fine.

(27:38):
Okay, let's go back to JeffFisher. And this is going to come
off as a snarky question. Ibelieve I've never asked you this before,
and if I have to say,Gods, you can drop another down me.
I know how this works in radio. So in radio and maybe other
jobs, you might be assigned aposition that you didn't think you were going
to have, and at some pointa conversation out I've taken on this responsibility.

(28:02):
I now have to be compensated forthe responsibilities that I have taken on
in radio. They then laugh atyou. But Jeff Fisher became the commissioner
of the arena football game? Ishe is the plan for him to stay
on his commission in twenty twenty five? Yes? Okay. The reason I
asked that was because I would assumeJeff Fisher would want to be compensated at
a high rate for that role hetook on. And I'm assume, like,

(28:26):
to my knowledge, there's zero disputeon how he's being compensated. Okay,
all right, that's good to know. But that's who I know.
I wish I wish radio would belike that media sometimes. Oh, I'm
listening to me, like, I'mnot sure. He's very passionate about the
life. Okay, his the youknow, obviously, like the day to
day stuff. It's it's difficult forme to speak to you. But his

(28:48):
he wants this to work. He'she's leveraging just as many people he knows
to get the word out and getthings right, as anyone is. If
I was a we'll call it anumber two for a regional com company,
and I was the number two inour regional company and then they ran the
entire company, everyone say, obviouslythere's gonna be compensation. There was just
never rumors of like Jeff Fisher goingfrom Nashville to running the whole league and

(29:10):
being like you eventually gotta pay him. Okay, I'm glad that. I
don't know if I have any otherthings. If you were if you were
happy with the way things were going, no one would talk about it.
Yeah. I guess that's true. And maybe he's made enough money in his
life where he's like, it's notabout money, it's about football's about the
passion, it's about what I don'twant to do. I don't know.
I just know that it's never beendiscussed at least quit pocket watching guys.

(29:33):
Yeah, pretty much. I meanyou're very Yeah, you're very much into
that. Like no, the thepeople who are on that call yesterday are
all passionate about making this work andworking together. Last question, Michael Kelly
sitting out here like vac hang on, keep your DMS up. But I
got a few questions. I seeMichael Keys just moments ago. I think
he tweeted about the Damon Aware newsabout joining HB. Say, which you

(29:56):
get that from this show? Areyou was that? Did you get this?
Did he get that information for you? Coach ware listening to because other
people are asking me about it,like I didn't know where it was available,
and it's like did I Like, what do you want me to do?
Last question? Gosh, I loveasking this because I know I won't
get what I want. But isthere a top priority on the median agenda.

(30:21):
So like if I had a toppriority, I would say how the
media stuff CBS, Sports Network,NFL network, individual markets handling their media
consumption that would be near the top. Was that the top thing in the
median agenda? What was it was? I mean there were it was discussed.

(30:42):
The top part of the media agenda. I think was a roll call
was the first thing we discussed. No, why did I set myself up
for that? I can't. Ican't if I want to keep being invited
to the party. I can't tellyou everything that the party. But what
I can tell you that in allthese calls that I've done in multiple leagues,

(31:03):
with different leadership, whatever, itwas the most unified conversation I've ever
heard. Everyone's goal is to makesure that twenty five goes off without any
issues that we dealt with in twentyfour. Now, are there gonna be
issues, One hundred percent, they'regonna be issues, But this is it's

(31:23):
a it's a group of like mindedpeople who want the best, and I
think they're gonna continue to try toadd more people like that. And I
feel, you know that I wasnever worried that we weren't going to have
a season here in Albany, becauseI knew that Mike Corda Indy Gelcha Richie
says that we're gonna work Mike.I mean, Mike's Mike's that guy,
Mike. It's so crazy to methat the same dude that we used to

(31:45):
like running each other head first onthe playground in kindergarten, that guy will
get into a meeting ful of millionairesand billionaires and go this is how it
should be and they all go,that's the ground. You're wrong, rebel.
He's right because he just he Mikehas a very succinct mindset, like
how do I get from here towhere we need to be? And that's
and that he's always very well likerespected in these calls. And it's like

(32:10):
I just sit there like a likea fly on the wall, like called
creepy, and just watch. Dothe anythink Mike's Tony Soprano? H I
tell everyone he is the Polish Tonysoprano. I do that. That's my
fault. I've I've introduced him asKingpin from the Marvel comics, and I
to tell him if he does notget a cool walking stick and wear an
all white suit, that's Halloween. We're not friends anymore and I quit my

(32:30):
job. The fact that the ArenaBowl Championship was played not too far away
from where the bottom bing was andMike didn't get a picture near that at
some point been dropped opportunity for everyone. It's so funny because like obviously,
like like John Cheney, who isthe owner of the Orlando Predators, like
there's a we have a strong rivalry, but there's also like there's respect there

(32:51):
as well. So like like theyall call it the Albany Football League,
I will tell you that it wasn'tfor Albany. That game does not happened.
Like our staff worked at whatever Mike, Mike worked his took us off
to make sure that game took place. So like for everybody joking about the
Albany Football League could have used littlehelp, but we weren't happy to put
it like the O one there andevery other market, that'd be great.

(33:15):
When's the next scheduled owner's called? You, guys, take a little breath,
your damn business guys, Actually there'sone happening right now. Oh then
I'm not on because I'm here.I'm sorry you had one. I didn't
know that was coming the next day. All right, I didn't need to
be on this one. Oh,I only need to be on the ones
where I need to take notes thatMike has helped achieving his goals. I
don't need to be on. I'mnot an owner. Should be the owners

(33:36):
at me? All right. Idon't own it. I barely own my
own house. This is actually thebank owns my house. If we're being
perfectly honest. Is this how Jimbehind press conferences went more questions went on,
he just start yelling random I beatmy parents? Is that? Is
that right? Is that? BigFiel? Why don't you play man?
The man gos you asked me aboutit? No, you know, listen,
you win. It's I'd never metJerry Kurz, Gary Compton or Jeff

(34:00):
Fisher before all this. I willtell you right now that those those those
three and other people that are involved, if those three people started a fantasy
football league, I would join it. Like I think, like when you
when you hear people who have likethis overall passion of the sport and and

(34:20):
way more knowledge than you do,it's just like where the hell have you
been? Like where? Like likehow you know why the NAL is never
going to be the big league. They didn't think to hire these guys,
you know what I mean? Like, like, is, do I think
Jeff Fisher is gonna do this forever? I don't know. I really don't
know. Do I think Jerry Kurzand Gary Compton's last press will be an
arena football? It might be.They might be because and hopefully it's one

(34:43):
hundred years from now. But likethese people have, they either have solutions
or they know the questions to askto find those solutions. I've done a
lot of this comparison today, butI feel like this is the best one
of all the ones I've done today. In certain industries you need peop who
are blank people like in radio sometimeswhen rank sometimes to fix a radio problem,

(35:05):
you have to hire a radio person. To fix a television problem,
you have to hire a television first. And to be a writer, you
hire a writer, a janitor,a principal, Hey, custodial engineer,
custodial engineer. If you know themarket, hey, I sell windows,
hire somebody who's done that for theirlife. So like this is and bring
that up because it's like, hey, you know what would help the arena

(35:28):
Football League hiring people who work inarena football. That's it. Jerry and
Gary played it. Jeff Fisher's livefootball his whole life, you know what
I mean? Like, and Iknow that's labeling people who are not to
do that. In twenty twenty fouryou have be multiple Like it's a huge
part of what seems like it's goingon for the f If you didn't hire
them, you did to pay himto consult, you know what I mean?

(35:49):
Like, like, that's it isthe cool, cool Jerry Currs story.
So Jerry's an older guy. Hedon't play around. He's got he
he he loves arena football, heloves the original product. He loves he
loves the idea. So we're sittingthere, were trying to fare out who's
but I might have already told uswho's who's sitting on? What betch because
it was never discussed. So hegoes, uh, Billies one seed,

(36:10):
your two seed. I'm like, yep. He walked over to the head
coach for Billies because which bench doyou want? He goes, I'd like
to sit here. He goes thereyou go, you're good. We're good.
But just like that, no nonsense, like shouldn't the top seed decide
where they sit? Yep, onehundred percent. Greed couldn't agree with you
more. I literally just need more. My guys are going, I'm but
it's just like that, no nonsense. Why are we doing? Why are

(36:31):
we Why are we adding steps? Why are we? Well, we were
thinking because this is closer to that. Because this that, you know,
and that's what I've been dealing withmy entire time as a as a league
person, as a team person. You just have a guy go, hey,
you're higher seed, right, youwant that one? Cool? That
guy gets that one? Okay, cool? That's that. That's the kind
of coolness that that goes on withit. It's very very cool. Uh

(36:52):
it's almost you know what, itmakes it cool? I believe Chevrolet.
Yes it does, MA, Chevroletmakes it cool. I'll tell you that
right now. The couch was prettycool. Guy he is. Don't hope
you can't hear it. I loveAndy to death. Man. We that's
the group, man, I tellyou it was with the Andy being around
every time, coach where and Ileave the office at the same time,

(37:14):
he looks at my truck and you'resure you're not gonna trade it? In
and Andy's like, and then Andy'salready told me. He's like, listen,
when you're ready, we're gonna takecare of you. Over in mo
Chevy, We're getting a vehicle you'relooking for. And just like that,
supplier pricing can do that for youas well. So Dan's s uvs UH
pickup trucks, the majority of themlisted on the lot right now on the
lot, supplier pricing can save thousandsof dollars on your vehicle. I was

(37:36):
looking at the pre owns today.I kind of wanted like a side well
side, don't don't tell Scargo,I want to side check. They got
a Jaguar on the lot. Iwas thinking about it. I was thinking,
it's not that it's it's cheaper.It's pre owned. Don't tell scar
Joe. But that's the thing islike when they make the they make the
car buying process so easy, soso pleasant. I'm literally like, I
don't ever want to lose my truck. I love my truck. I don't

(37:57):
ever want like Marada, but Iwould do it again. I'd buy another
vehicle from them. I love Ilove Malock Chevrolet. Right there off of
Exit twelve in the Northwest one ofmy favorite places to go. It's a
beautiful dealership. They got everything youneed and then some together. Let's drive
at Malwok Chevy where they always goout of their way to please use the
dump. It's coming up next righthere a Fox Sports Radio ninety five to
nine and nine eighty Love Acting guysLie from the GT Toys too, that's

(38:22):
toys with the Z at least,I think so who knows no music need
just go home. We're going StreetYo Street for the dump. You know.
Yeah. The men in the street, they don't use walk up music
or bumper music. They just dothat thing. There's a quarterback for the
Titans that's going viral. I'm sorryinterrupt your rump here, bro. He

(38:44):
has no gloves, no type oflike armband anything. Was it moist s
ale? Lou? When you haveno gloves out there, you've seen tougher
Man nothing. Poor Pisoder gloves. You know how he got his hands toff
though he peede on him as hedid on Pena same obviously, I'm I'm

(39:05):
attempting to lose some weight. Ilitill step back today, tried to do
a little like kind of fast thing. Needed a snack wasn't gonna get through
the show. I would have killedsomebody. Like obviously, you know you're
you're happy, whatever, But ifI told you you could lose fifty pounds
by doing nothing, would you doit? Yeah? Okay, but it

(39:25):
might kill you? But you alwayssaid yes, you're in A sixty one
year old man in Florida just lostfifty pounds without even trying, and then
found out it was actually due toa deadly fungus that's normally found inside of
bat nookie test show like, soagain, he's just he's going along,

(39:47):
he feels fine. He went tothe hospital after experiencing night sweats, fatigue,
and fever for ten months. Testshow his fungus levels were twenty five
times UH the detectable limit, affectinghis heart, spleen, adrenal glance.
Doctors noted he was lucky to bealive, as infections of that bad are

(40:08):
usually one hundred percent fatal if untreated. The man is a building supervisor at
a farm, hadn't been in contactwith bats or birds, but may have
encountered and infected soil. After heartsurgeries, anti fungal treatment, his symptoms
improved, but again drop fifty LB'sreal quick. It's worth the risk right

(40:30):
now. It's not no roll arounda little bad dukie real quick? No,
come on, man, was itnot Carnival Barkers? But uh snake
oil salesman? I go, Ifeel like this is what a bad dukie
salesman? Yes? Well, no, snake oil salesman did nothing. It
just did not. They would theywould leave and you'd just be left with

(40:52):
your bottle of magic elixir that didnothing for you. Okay, So thank
you for clarifying that. So likeI think of these people like, I'm
gonna tell you this proct this willbe the result. So what would be
the opposite of snake salesman? ThenI will give you bat duchie. You
can lose fifty pounds. I toldyou I was right. Just forgot the
whole dying thing. Hey, Iput a big skull on it. I
think I think this is like witchdoctor almost, you know what I mean?

(41:13):
Like, I think that's I thinkthis is some This is some some
some stuff you don't want to get. Yeah, here, how do I
how do I lose weight? Well? Diet, exercise, you know,
steady regimen blauh. Okay, isthere an easier way? You can just
lick this bad duchie. Really yeah, no, guy, I lost fifty
pounds and ten months they didn't doit, didn't change anything. It's ever

(41:34):
the whole almost dying, very Disneyprincess like, look, we'll let you
have feet, We'll give you legs. Gotta give a witch in the water
your voice though, Yeah, yeah, I mean, come on, what
do you want? Do you wantto spleen and regular heart function? Or
do you want to look good swimsuitseason? What do you want? Huh?
Because I'm here to help. You'regonna take a long coma, but

(41:55):
you will find a prince at somepoint who's gonna kiss you. Let me
ask you. You know you saidyou'd give anything to lose fifty pounds.
Really anything? How about heart function? Come on, how about your first
born child sixty one? How aboutyou only make it to sixty two?
I just it's funny because I've justsaiden. There's I can't remember the name

(42:20):
of the series. It might've beencreep show. It was one of the
where like Black Mirror. It wasone of those like anthology horror shows.
And everyone is taking this like injectionto lose weight, and they must have
been like ahead of the whole ozampicwith Govy with all that stuff, right,
But it turns out it's actually likea parasite. And I know,
like there was there's I think there'sparts of Asia where they'll they'll give you

(42:44):
a tapeworm to help you lose weight, and then they'll take the tapeworm out.
But these things were like super aggressiveand once like they all hit full
size and like the moon was thefull the full moon, they all popped
out and killed whoever they were inLike it was that was like everybody,
everybody looked great for six to eightmonths and then they died. But like
that's that's kind of what I worryabout sometimes with these stories of bat Doochie

(43:07):
just to dress the elephant in theroom. I'm sure there was a time
within the last five years or alot of those storylines you just laid out
people thought might have happened. Yeah, I mean I coded that. No,
no, no, I coded that, well enough, no I coded.
I know this is a different story. We were I went under the
orange roof for a National Wing Dayand one of the like sweetest Hooters girls

(43:32):
is getting like a joke battle withsomebody at one of her other tables,
like oh, oh, you didn'tput this in my drink? Did you
need to put this here? Andlike so she goes over. She's like
I need another whatever. So somebodyat the table says ozempic. I'm like,
don't. She's leaving and I go, is this still the drink thing?
She goes They all go yeah.I go, I'm trying to get
her back. I'm like, don'tdo that, don't do that one,

(43:54):
don't do that one. And she'snot. She's like, I'm okay,
I got it. I mean Iknow what to do. She goes back.
He got so upset. I go, yeah, because every other thing
was like I'm gonna abduct you.Uh, this is a funny way.
This is a drug I've heard of. You just called him fat. You
just said I'm gonna put Ozepich inyour drink because you're fat and and like

(44:14):
like and that's like like you. This dude, for like fifteen minutes is
having playful back and forth with asuper attractive Hooters girl. Is very funny,
very charismatic, and then all ofa sudden she just goes rips the
rug out but can't because you're toofat. You're holding it down like I
was like, but it's just oneof those like people don't think, man,
the brain of a fat person likeyou. Literally, like later today,

(44:36):
somebody goes to, hey, youwant some bat dukie, I'll be
like you called me fat. Youknow, I'm gonna it'll be a problem.
It'll be a problem. Now Iknow bat dukie cures fatness and breathing.
You got anything for the dump?I was thinking of the person who's
listening is on the podcast side onthe treadmill right now, thinking like,
all right, what they're saying. At least I didn't eat bad dukie.

(45:00):
I'm getting this done the right way. You alluded to this a little yesterday's
third Hour about the Titans battle withJeffrey Simmons and the radio host. Let
me ask a very broad question.Do you miss camp? Because I believe
we're not going this year like wehave. You and I have not gone
to a camp in five years. We have not done a training camp NFL
teams, college teams, high school, high school. I'm gonna get to

(45:21):
that. That's what that's leading to. But do you miss it at all?
A little? I would because Iwas watching. I mean, we
talked about this earlier Hard Knocks lastnight and they showed the Giants facility.
I was like, oh, I'vebeen there, I've been there, I've
been there, you know whatever alittle bit. I don't miss the drive,
because remember the drive, I wouldlose my ever love and mind on
the way back. Those are longdays. And I guess to you,
you've had camp for three years. You had the preseason, not the traditional

(45:44):
July August heat summer college campus, but you had preseason practice going through storylines
and roster. But you've lived itwith the both Empire and Firebirds, so
you've gotten two degree. Two degree. But there's something about going and seeing
that that world and how hard theseguys are working, and some of it
like not as hard as you thoughtthey were working, Like you know,

(46:05):
there is something about seeing it everyyear that does it's very cool. It's
a cool little road trip. Ifeel like I don't come off on this
show, and you don't either. As the back in my day. Thanks,
I'm getting tougher, I'm getting there. I think we all lead towards
that at some point. But Idon't know if every day were like you
don't remember how tough it was inthe two thousands. You don't remember what
the eighties and nineties were like.So many grandfathers and uncles and dads.

(46:28):
That is their line, and I'msure they're actually right about a lot of
things. They say that things maybephysically were tougher, Like the idea that
coaches thought water was bad for themis hard for me to wrap my brain
around at times. I don't knowhow many people notice this. I noticed
this today all of New York statehigh school football hiss completely changed this upcoming
fall our guy Mike Susa here insales, him and I were run through

(46:51):
schedule. Shout out to guy MikeEchiona in Syracuse. I didn't notice this.
So I know in college they gotrid of double sessions, so you
can't have double sessions anymore. Andcoach Kutuso, you all many football camp
open today. Everyone could open campa week sooner now because they can get
more practices. In high school footballnow has three weeks of preseason. What

(47:12):
Labor Day, remember is super earlythis year, so now high school football
does if coaches want to have aweek zero that's right, Levack, you
sniffed this out. I thin quickeron anybody that I know about Hey,
we all know Week zero is justto promote a soda, right gight rade
zero? Now? Is that thewhat we're promoting? I mean, high
school athletes can do nil now.I feel like Week zero should actually be
a bowl game, and if youdon't make sections, that should be a

(47:35):
bowl game. But that's for anothershow, for another time. But high
school football now instead of seven regularseason games, has eight regular season games.
Traditionally, you would have the championshipstate finals A through D would be
on Thanksgiving weekend. So if you'rea kid playing high school fotball, the
goal was to practice on Thanksgiving toplay for a state championship. Not this
year. The state championship games arein December. That means your season starts

(48:00):
in August. Your season ends inDecember if you make the state finals.
So more football, a week zero, longer camp season in December. I
feel like the hope of this isto get players and coaches more ready for
a season, you know, thehope of hitting in practice and everything.
But love hearing these things out loud? Is it right? Do we not

(48:21):
know yet? Do we need ayear to find out? What do you
make about expanded high school football?Across New York State this upcoming fall.
I'm okay with it. I'm okaywith well as long as it's being done
right. Who Like I will saythat was the hardest thing for me to
understand. Wait wait, wait,I have to go to school before school,
like practice is before but school hasn'tstarted yet. Like I'm still supposed

(48:43):
to be able to do what Ilike. It's summer, Like practice started
before my birthday. Like that's notthat's not okay? How dare you ask
me to make such a sacrifice.Just I mean, with the way the
world's going. Like, you know, we talked about the Kelsey brothers one
hundred million dollars to be podcast hosts, not on top of what they've made
playing football, on top of whatthey're making on television and doing endorsements.

(49:07):
Just football players who are podcast hosts. I don't know every chance that my
kid could play football. I wouldjust want to, Hey, you know
what you're going to practice? Dad? There is no practice. Yeah,
you know what, We're gonna makeone. We're gonna do a practice today.
If the hope is to really givekids opportunities to take safe tackling techniques
and to learn about the sport. If that's the real hope of this,
applaud to the adults in the room. But it made that decision. I

(49:30):
just wonder a little bit. Don'thave this on record. No one's told
me this. You would feel like, hey, Nil's taken off in college
more high school football. People lovefootball. Maybe this is a way to
promote high school football to local businessesmore. Now, Again, that seems
like a very evil way for meto look at the decision makers in New
York State. But when you tellme something has added more games and it's

(49:52):
a longer season, and there's somemarketability to what happens locally and regionally with
these schools, I don't know whatthe real answer is. No, when
you expand him, that means it'spopular. Usually, how much value is
it for Little Timmy to tell mehe likes my industry? I don't know
what either Lil Tebby's wide or civilnow for quality high and Little Timmy love

(50:13):
bud Wise, Dude, that's whyLittle Timmy you can't have. Yeah,
but you watch Dadrick the Happy Juiceand you love it. When you tune
twenty one, Timmy, We're gonnabuy you an ice cold bud Wise,
I feel like I'm with you,but this also has the risk of this
being a take that won't age wellfor either one of us, because I'm
sure thirty years ago they've been like, what you think some good looking girl

(50:34):
playing women's basketball for Ohio is gonnamake money doing what? Putting pictures on
the internet? You know, thirtyyears to wrec of course, the kid
doing trick shots at Colony High ispopp What do you mean you guys didn't
get that in twenty I'm gonna becareful because I feel like this one can
eat. Timmy brought here by ShwinBicycles. Little Timmy gets here on a
swin. You should too, Hey, everybody, little Timmy washes his hands,

(50:57):
he doesn't touch his face, andhe listens till the back. Guy,
I was on Fox Sports Radio nineto five, nine and nine to
eighty. You shit too, guys, hit that button.
