Toronto Blue Jay turned Boston Red Sox catcher Danny Jansen
didn't just play for two teams in the same game.
It's the first time ever in the history of baseball
this happened. So if you don't know what we're talking about,
he also did, by the way, in the same inning.
Danny Jansen became the first Major League baseball player ever

to appear on both sides of a baseball box scorer
when he took the field yesterday for the Boston Red
Sox as they started up a rain delayed game against
the Toronto Blue Jays from back in June. Well, he
was traded, that's right on the Red Sox. Excuse me,
on the Blue Jays back to the Red Sox, same game.
Jansen quote. I was surprised when I found out I

was the first one to do it back. What do
you make of this happening? Danny Jansen playing for two
teams in the same game, and it never happened in
a baseball history before that.

I'm kind of shocked. It never happened before. He didn't
like play play for the second part, right, He's just
on the box score, but he didn't. I don't think
I don't think they had his uniform ready. He walked out,
he like ripped off one like a stripper and threw
the other one on like that. That's not what he caught.

He got pitch hitting for Danny Janssen defensive changes. Danny
Jansen now would catch her. He was then behind the plate.
I mean, that's that's kind of crazy. Then he get
hit later in the game in the bottom two outs
to the bottom half of the inning.

there that Cole Burgess talking about cut down days. The
product Greenwich Division three Zone Cortland State National champions may
have made the Bengal roster. But let's focus on Kadarius
Tony here. You mentioned earlier in the show he can
be a match for an NFL team. Yeah, do you
think he gets a shot here in twenty twenty four
with another NFL team?

I do? I think he does. I mean, you're out
here talking about signing forty year olds, So if that'd
be the case, I think young Djoko could get a job.
What like I thought about it, like the Raiders, Right,
So the Raiders have a definite quarterback situation, Gardner, Minshew
Aidan O'Connell. Neither one of those guys right now are
slotted to be Pro bowlers, right. What if you had
a guy who could turn a bubble screen into another

Could you add him? Problem is would he buy into
Antonio Pierce's what he's selling. I don't think he would.
So you got you gotta find the right leadership that
would be able to get him in line. You bring

the Cincinnati Bengals are a team that you think is
a player away, Like that's really what it'ud be. Kadarius
Tony would go to a team that you think the
missing piece for this is a explosive wide receiver, like
the Bengals would fit this offensive we the Bengals would
fit this, The Packers would fit this, the build, the
Bills sort of Atlanta sort of all these teams that

say we can get over the hump by having this
guy out here. The reason I brought the Bengals first
is because they mentioned that Colbert just makes them. But
someone said, hey, Cincinnati things they can be over the
top here with Tony. He might lose his roster spot
because of that, but he also has his offensive coordinator
who he knows, Dan Pitcher, with a Courtland connection that
maybe that keeps the spot. I don't want Tony to

preseason stats. If he's on a roster, bet that team,
I know they're gonna score.

I know why you of Nathan Peterman because I trashed
him for so long and he wanted him to be
good for so long for this show, because I.

Like him too, Like his preseason How can you be
like not just good? And I get it, Like a
lot of times he's facing the side of the twos
or the threes, but even against the ones in preseason,
that dude will throw six touchdowns in a game. In
regular season, that dude will throw six interceptions in a quarter.

There is an argument to be made about Nathan Peterman
that he's one of the worst quarterbacks who has ever
played in the NFL. Now, I'm not talking like skill wise,
because there's guys who've been slower than him, but statistically speaking,
with more than like two games played, I'm not talking
like somebody who played once and was tear I'm like
four or five games. There's an argument to be made
that he's the worst quarterback who's ever taken the field.

However, he's seen Johnny Manziel.

Speaker 3 (20:51):
Johnny Manziel was better than Nathan Peterman. He doesn't he didn't.
He didn't have as many turnovers.

Speaker 2 (20:56):
Yeah, but he didn't have as many touchdowns. He's not
as good, you know.

Speaker 3 (20:59):
I mean, he got more to be there. And that's it.
Like I was gonna say the same thing I've sid
for the last to be there. The last five years
for Nathan Peterman has been like, how does this guy
keep getting other opportunities? The answer is he's a good teammate,
he knows the offense, he plays well in the preseason,
he looks great in practice. That's it. Like, miss, I
cannot deny the greatness of mister august. I don't know

if you'll ever get a chance to get in a
regular season game, but he's been. There's no denying how
good he's been in the preseason.

deal if he made the practice squad, because not if
an injury happens, they own his rights. He's gonna get paid.
I believe the practice squad's eighty to one hundred and
five thousand for a salary. I think it's sixteen hundred
a week, is the last time I heard. But here's
the thing with that too, You're now I can sign
him off your practice squad. Where if you're on the
fifty three man roster and I'm not gonna use you,
you just sit there. Sure, you make a little more
