coming back from an injury.

to go out on and say that if something were

run of the playoffs, maybe not even a playoffs even

we'll go with this side of it. Rogers being healthy.

Gara Wilson, super young player in the discussion statistically being
a top five to ten wide receiver if Rogers is healthy.
The defense. I know that doesn't affect Rodgers as much,
but it really does because they're on the field more.
When Jet fan can argue six if you want to
be positive, hell, you could say seven reasons they won

seven games last season was always the defense. They've resulted
in seven wins, not so much the offense. So the
Jet defense can be talked about as being one of
the best in the league, defense wide, receiver, running back. Oh,
by the way, people believe they can win the division.

see the success maybe nationally or locally that people want
to see out a Gangreen this season. Think about the
final few years for Rodgers in Green Bay, MVP caliber
player before he signed all from lambeau Field. He had
the highest contract in NFL history because that's what he
demanded and they gave it to him. The rosters better

for the New York Jets in twenty twenty fourth than
his final seasons for the Packers. So he's not going
to be asked to do what Josh Allen's gonna be
asked to do in Buffalo with they're going a bit
younger on offense. Hell, he's not gonna be asked to
do what Dak Prescott's been asked to do in Dallas'
offense this season, with a lack of a running game
at a new offensive line, in a highly paid receiver.
Now Aaron Rodgers has a top tier running back we

just agreed on statistically can be in the top ten.
A young, exciting wide receiver. Conckling the tight end. There's
always questions about Jets tight ends, but seems like he's
fined a revamped offensive line and a fantastic defense, and
you've got a veteran Hall of Fame quarterback. They're not

again and run for sixty like other offenses. Get back

because I need you to lead this team. You know.
The the minimum pay is x I'll give you why

if you wear that sea because you need that leadership.
You need that person. Like I can tell a player,

then when they're out of there, who knows what they're doing.

a mix between Sometimes the coaches say, hey, we college now,

especially with fifth and sixth and seventh year seniors, guys,
who do you think is going to be the captain?
This kid's been here for seven years. Of course he's
going to be the leader. If he's doing the right things.
Like I played on college teams where it was a
vote and then maybe a coach would add one or
two more. But the problem was with the vote. It
got real weird because you could tell guys were campaigning
for it and it's like, oh man, you don't act

like that, just you want to be This is weird.
But I bring that up because the age thing in particular,
teenager in high school to college kid and maybe still
being immature to campaigned for it. For We've seen two
rookie quarterbacks get named captain. Kayleb Williams has been the
captain of the Bears, and you just read that bow
Knicks has been named captain of the Denver Broncos. That's

remarkable to me.

What about like bow Knicks, who most people didn't even
think would be a first round talent, who you know,
had to compete to get, you know, to get the
whiff of it. I think it's because he fits. He

he's been through in his career, already and the fact

a top five to ten wide receiver if Rogers is healthy.
The defense. I know that doesn't affect Rodgers as much,

seven games last season was always the defense. They've resulted

who do you think is going to be the captain?
This kid's been here for seven years. Of course he's
going to be the leader. If he's doing the right things.
Like I played on college teams where it was a
vote and then maybe a coach would add one or
two more. But the problem was with the vote. It
got real weird because you could tell guys were campaigning
for it and it's like, oh man, you don't act

like that, just you want to be This is weird.
But I bring that up because the age thing in particular,
teenager in high school to college kid and maybe still
being immature to campaigned for it. For We've seen two
rookie quarterbacks get named captain. Kayleb Williams has been the
captain of the Bears, and you just read that bow
Knicks has been named captain of the Denver Broncos. That's

remarkable to me.

What about like bow Knicks, who most people didn't even
think would be a first round talent, who you know,
had to compete to get, you know, to get the
whiff of it. I think it's because he fits. He
It's got to be maturity, which is which is crazy

four to twenty five year old rookie. Yeah, like what
he's been through in his career, already and the fact

guys are saying this is our leader feels like an

punk kid who came off the street. This is not

twenty when he got drafted by the Jets, Kyle Pitts
was twenty when he got picked by the Atlanta Falcons.

I saw a clip and maybe I got cgi'ed, maybe
I got a eyed. I saw the end of that interview.
I could have sworn the clip that I saw. She said,
to close out the interview, make sure to take care
of my boyfriend. Yeah, but the way the whole interview
went that I can believe that was sarcasm. I can
believe because because again she's she's talking to him, they

talk about the beard. She literally she said that she
was talking about how how you know how much Luminar
has gotten better, so that she said, quote, you gotta
protect your boy, my boy.

The world in internet thinks he's my boy. Then they
both started laughing, and then there's a point where she
asked about is he keep is Dale Joe's gonna keep
the beard? And she goes, I don't even want to
talk about it. I don't want to talk about it.
But then says Jermaine, So Jermaine and Luminar, a girl
can't win. I'm trying to hype your boy. I mean,

Daniel's a great looking guy. Well then Lumino said, Daniel's
a great looking guy. Is he keeping the beard? Like
it was almost like one of those things where she's
playing into and having fun with the fact that people
are saying they're dating, but she's saying they're not really dating.

She did this as well with Cham's Charnia, like this
is kind of her thing, which, by the way, good
for her leaning into it. I think it's cool. Uh
I wait, wait, wait, I want to go back to

back to being sarcastic. Kay Adams leans into this stuff
and she can do it.

The point I'm trying to make is like when someone says.

Chick is another one. I feel like this is an
age thing where somebody older might be like, she just
called them her boyfriend. Of course they're dating. He just
said girlfriend, he said chick. Like even with females, they'll
say I'm going out with my girlfriends knowing like if
Lavac and I went out to Hooters and said we're
going out with our boyfriends, people would look at us
with wait, wait wait girlfriends like that terms. I think
it's an acceptance of the term like well, so.

I would say go In second quote, Adams playfully wrapped
the conversation with go protect my boyfriend.

So I said, I knew it wasn't cgi yeah, but
it was playful.

It was like, you know, it was it was joking around.
It wasn't it wasn't you know, it wasn't Jordan your
wife saying to me, will you go take care of Thomas,
will you make sure he's all right? Like, that's not
what That's not what it was it was, you know.
That would be like you saying to me, going nice
to my girlfriend when I want to see Brittany or

I think guys think they want to argue sports until

where Amy Schumer is like, guys always say they want
their girl to be one of the guys, and then

it goes and how much they really don't watch it. Yeah,
it's true. It's it's still true even when that show
was out.

The funny part about it, like people are sitting there,
I'm like, no, she's not, she's not dating him. She's
she's dating the comedian Dan Soder, which is Katie Nolan.
I completely in my head, Kay Adams and Katie Nolan
are the same person. In my head, they and they

still think they might be the same person.

It was tough, man, last year the first day of
daycare and first day of preschool stuff. Today's I got
two right. Today Today felt like a different, whole, different world,

first time tomorrow. For people who are doing that. College
started last week. Going through the first day of school, man,

I feel more nervous as a parent than I did
as a kid, Like when you were a kid. It
was awesome at least for me. Like I got a
new pair of sneakers for my first day of school.
I got all excited, like, yoh, check out this new
T shirt, check out this game. That's like you've had
the first day of school vibes of like getting seen
some kids in a while, new teacher's new classroom, new schedule.
Being a parent, man, it's way more stressful. Like I'm

sure the kindergarten and parents today were like, what bus
they're gonna go bus with fifth graders.

When you're the kid, you have to worry about one kid.

When you're the parent, you have to worry about every
kid because they may suck. Like if there's a bunch
of jerks in your kid's class, now, all of a sudden,
I gotta worry about thirty kids. Now. It's a whole
different thing.

That thing you just said there sounds like what my
parents told me about driving For the first time. I'm
not worried about you as a driver. I'm worried about
who's on the road. I'm not worried about you as
a kid. I'm worried about who you're so cheat.

I was thinking it reminded me of what a neighbor's
parent told me about raising a girl versus raising a boy.
