we want to have this emotion, We want everybody invested,

to hop on nine eight oh, that's the line to

back to March, these were the teams in the National League. Really,

Although if you asked the owner today who roasted Jordan
Montgomery basically say it was a horrible decision. Can't believe

But you had the Diamondbacks and Dodgers, who were the
best teams perceived to be going into the National League.
You had the Braves and the Phillies whore both fantastic
franchise have gone to the World Series, each of them
in the last five seasons. So there's quickly four spots
gobbled up. You had in the National League Central, a
division winner. Obviously you can't win the Central because you're
in the East, so there's spot number five.

And then you look at the West.

The Padres have been so active and so competitive, and
a team who gone to the NLCS. Where were you
gonna go?

Who are you gonna beat?

Who are you better than than those six teams who
are likely going to represent the National League? Well, five
of those I just nailed. The only one you beat

This Brewers matchup is interesting too, because this is the

on the Brewers as I'd like to be, but i
will tell you that it's it's just an intriguing matchup
when you think about where you're headed. The architect of
that team was now the architect of your team, Like
all these things coming together, Like if I'm a Mets fan,

I I one hundred percent believe I'm gonna win the
World Series because who's gonna beat us?

And I'm gonna take a look at this Brewers team
and go, how much better is that team if it
had I don't know, Steve Collen money. And that's so
there's a lot of fun to be had in the
series coming up for the Mets.

Hockey's close to this take. I'm'm about to hockey. I
don't think wins this argument. I really do think postseason
baseball does that. When you evaluate a team, a roster,
how positions are moved, how lineups are moved, how you
use guys in situational spots. There is nothing that you've
done for an entire regular season that is totally different
when you hit the postseason, because in hockey, if you

get a hot goalie, you might be able to figure
this thing out. You might be able to play and
ride a hot goalie all the way to the Stanley Cup.
So that one's a little different. But when you're talking
about shifts in line all that stuff, you're usually on pace.
But for baseball, and this is not a cop out
for Leavack and I not giving a great breakdown of
Game one on the way, it's really difficult to say, hey,
all season long, the Mets found success with this recipe,

this system. They're not going to use it.

And look that's not specific to the Mets. We see
closers used in different spots. You know, you have a
rotation of five for six arms depending on the team.
You might see three starters. How it's balanced, how it's made,
who gets innings, when are they pulled? Wow, all that
stuff is totally different when we evaluate a baseball postseason series.

It is it's a whole different game of how you
handle it when's the season on the line. But you
are in the dance, you're in contention. You mentioned metsdans
think they can win the World Series. You should, like
any other team who is in contention, should believe their
team can do it now, even if you're a Brewer fan.
Usually used to give this heat to the Al Central
in the Minnesota Twins, a tradition unlike any other, the

Twins on a random Wednesday in October being knocked out
of the postseason. We're not doing that this year. Although
Milwaukee Brewer fans realize, maybe even New York sports fan
doesn't realize this. Do you know? The Brewers have been
in the postseason six of the last seven seasons. They've
only missed once and that was in twenty twenty two
and they were ten games above five hundred. The Brewers
have been in the postseason six of the last post

seven postseasons, just one NLCS trip. They've been at the
NLCS twice in about the last fourteen to fifteen seasons.
So they've had a nice run, but they can't get
over the top. Milwaukee thinks this is finally their moment.
I saw Bob Yuker. Yes that Bob Yuker is still
calling games for Major League Baseball's Milwaukee Brewer. It's her

major League. He is not seeing that World Series.

So Brewer fan.

They're hungry, they want it, they feel like they're due.
They feel like met fan is too busy just getting
to the postseason. While Brewer fan says this is our
time to advance in the postseason, that crowd is gonna
be hot in Milwaukee and fired.

Up postseason baseball, Well hear, it's weird to be working
during postseason baseball. That feels odd. I don't feel like
it's like something we don't normally partaken.

It almost it almost always comes down to two pitchers,

two can go out there and just be dominant, you're

how it was originally drawn up, even close. If Luis Severn,
Sean and I can go out there and handle business,
you can be ho on the next level, you can be,
you can be. It won't Stave Peterson the next one.

it's literally if you look on the screen. I just
went over to it, it's ESPN on ABC. So someone
