the Capitol Regions Sports Fan, Fox Sports ninety five nine

Speaker 3 (00:18):
Oh man, uh here here we are, what almost a
full twenty four hours later from that Mets win, and
I for a team that I'm not a fan of.
I've I don't think I've ever had this kind of
buzz like this is. I got a chance to see
doctor Freder this morning over the Ndergriff Leep Center. Big
Mets fan, big Mets fan. I'm like, I'm like, Doc,
he goes all right, and we're just going back. I
(00:40):
don't think we said a constructive sentence for fifteen minutes.
Ivy's in there. She's the one who helps with that
mouthpiece of mine. She's like, did you guys speak at all?
Speaker 4 (00:48):
Right? Then? I'm like no, I'm like, god, no, right,
Why'm my guy? I'm the door Like it was. It was.
Speaker 3 (00:54):
We're going back and forth with it. It was. It
was awesome. I still think and I'm trying to think
of like personal fan experience that made me feel the
way I'm hoping Mets fan felt yesterday the way I
still feel today over that Mets victory. And if you know,
(01:14):
obviously by now you've heard about you know, the back
and forth and Edwin Diaz. You know, he he gets
just stomped on in the eighth inning. It looks looks
looks at those that goes, I got this bleep and
then goes out and handles business like. I think the
(01:36):
only time I felt this this way about a baseball
gotta be like ninety six for the Yankees, because I
don't the Mets were the best team in baseball?
Speaker 4 (01:46):
Right? Is this from June's second on?
Speaker 3 (01:48):
I believe they were the best team in baseball, but
we had already gotten rid of them by that. Like
I think how many times had Mets fan and us
and everybody out ever and people who you know, baseball insiders,
they're two flawed, they don't have enough pitching, they don't
have this pin Alonzo stinks. They're like we all just
kind of gave up on the Mets, and then we
(02:09):
were like, oh, well, maybe they're not that bad, and
then we would give up on them again and then
maybe like it was it was back and forth. But
and by the way, the reason I said pin Alonzo
stinks the way I said it, he still had one
hundred and forty six hits, thirty one doubles, thirty four
home runs, eighty eight rbi. You know, I mean seventy walks.
(02:31):
He struck out one hundred and seventy two times. Nobody's perfect,
but he stole three bases. Come on like he if
he wasn't a fifty home run, one hundred and twenty
RBI guy all the time, that's a good year for
a first basement. And we all just threw that away.
And now here we are where it comes down.
Speaker 4 (02:49):
To this, two games, seasons.
Speaker 3 (02:52):
Over, just gotta win one, and they go they just
look inept for seven innings. It just looked like they
don't say, uh, well, the fix is in the Mets
win game two, not game one. And then all of
a Suddeny're like, nah, we're gonna win this one.
Speaker 5 (03:06):
The amazing part about last night, last afternoon, twenty four
hours past it felt like a playoff game, which we thought.
Speaker 4 (03:14):
Did you even watched the second game? Sorry, I mean
I did not. I didn't either, I didn't even care.
Speaker 5 (03:18):
It was hard because we were finished up the show
and the impact for the show.
Speaker 3 (03:21):
Was didn't you know I didn't watch it, didn't care.
I was able to watch the Mets game because I know.
Speaker 4 (03:26):
You were in there. I can't see what you're watching.
I don't. I always assume it's like bubble guppies or something.
I don't know. But they're not on a three. You
know that. You know that. But it was, I mean,
it was amazing. I'm sorry.
Speaker 3 (03:38):
I don't mean. I'm just saying I just didn't after
that was done. The next thing that matters is what
five thirty today.
Speaker 4 (03:44):
I don't. I don't care.
Speaker 5 (03:44):
Now the playoffs are underway and the action is happening
today and how it's gonna all unfold. It was a
regular season game that felt like a playoff game. And
if you were a Met fan, and we know there's
a bunch of cross Capitol region, can let us know
on social media athey, Jeff Levack. Leon immediately went to Twitter.
We love Leon. He that Tom guys, tomg o z Z,
all of the Met fans.
Speaker 4 (04:03):
We've our guy.
Speaker 5 (04:04):
I think our guy Mike took the day off and
now he's here.
Speaker 4 (04:08):
He's Zach was.
Speaker 5 (04:11):
But you got you guys can celebrate because that was
an awesome and all time great win. And again I
have to keep saying that because it's a regular season win,
that felt like a winner take all season on the
linking because that was true.
Speaker 4 (04:23):
A game, well, it was a play in game.
Speaker 5 (04:26):
It felt like what baseball's wanted for fourteen years, that
we want to have this emotion, We want everybody invested,
we want to back and forth. That's an all time
great met moment game that happened yesterday. And Met fan
can let us know five six, nine o, nine to
eight zero. I know yesterday Mets fan was probably trying
to hop on nine eight oh, that's the line to
(04:47):
the elevation ten thousand phone lines. Elevate your brand today
with elevation ten thousand. I want to go back to
what you said though about the preseason and how we've
evaluated the Mets in one sixty two. Just think about it,
back to March, these were the teams in the National League. Really,
why I pushed back on what the Mets could be
in twenty twenty four is because where were they gonna fit.
You had the Dodgers who were so active this past offseason,
(05:08):
the Diamondbacks, who won the National League and who got better?
Although if you asked the owner today who roasted Jordan
Montgomery basically say it was a horrible decision. Can't believe
we made that move. Never lived up to his contra.
Speaker 4 (05:20):
Oh gosh, yesh, come home, Jordan.
Speaker 5 (05:24):
But you had the Diamondbacks and Dodgers, who were the
best teams perceived to be going into the National League.
You had the Braves and the Phillies whore both fantastic
franchise have gone to the World Series, each of them
in the last five seasons. So there's quickly four spots
gobbled up. You had in the National League Central, a
division winner. Obviously you can't win the Central because you're
in the East, so there's spot number five.
Speaker 4 (05:45):
And then you look at the West.
Speaker 5 (05:46):
The Padres have been so active and so competitive, and
a team who gone to the NLCS. Where were you
gonna go?
Speaker 4 (05:52):
Who are you gonna beat?
Speaker 3 (05:54):
Flat out?
Speaker 5 (05:54):
Who are you better than than those six teams who
are likely going to represent the National League? Well, five
of those I just nailed. The only one you beat
was the Diamondbacks. But that's all you had to do.
You were better than the Diamondbacks. You got into the dance,
and now you're a playoff team in twenty twenty four.
Speaker 3 (06:11):
This Brewers matchup is interesting too, because this is the
one like, this is the ghost of Christmas future that
you're playing.
Speaker 4 (06:17):
This is who you're this is this is who.
Speaker 3 (06:18):
You're gonna be modeled after at some point in the
next two to three seasons, probably two. I think it'll
happen pretty fast. So they are set up better to
win this. I want just to be realistic. The Brewers
had the better bullpen. They there's there, you had to
play two extra games.
Speaker 4 (06:37):
Whatever.
Speaker 3 (06:37):
They are set up to win today. They're set up
to be the better team in this, the higher seed.
But who can watch the way the Mets have played
in the last month or two and not think, you
know what, why not us? Why not like and have
seven arena on the bump today. That's another another heart
string you're pulling on Yankee fans. We're we're gonna roof
for you, But like this is this is because of
(07:00):
where your future is that is not supposed to be
this year. You did everything but put out the letter
that said we're not trying this year, We're not adding
anymore and then you went out and like made some
some nice trades at the deadline, nothing too crazy, your
guys stepped up. Francisco Indoor. Welcome because this is the
(07:22):
this is the Francisco Indoor that you thought you were
signing all along, and you know, to go out there
with a bad back and hit that home run?
Speaker 4 (07:29):
Was it? It was?
Speaker 3 (07:30):
It looked like a home run all the way at home,
but apparently it didn't there until it got over. But
this was And by home, I mean here. Why in
the world I call this home. It's not even really
our studio.
Speaker 4 (07:43):
We just take it over. Where do you live again,
I don't even know. I don't care. I don't care.
You know where I live posts in baseball that's where
I live.
Speaker 3 (07:52):
No, I just it's such a like I don't want
to take it lightly, like what the Mets have achieved
this year, and how much closer you are to that,
to that power team that you wanted to be than
I think anybody realized. And I know the only reason
I'm not talking about today's matchup more is I'm not
a liar. I watched thirty two minutes of Brewers baseball
(08:16):
this year. If and that actually you know I might
be lying. It could be thirty. I don't know, like,
but it's not. I'm not. I'm not as well versed
on the Brewers as I'd like to be, but i
will tell you that it's it's just an intriguing matchup
when you think about where you're headed. The architect of
that team was now the architect of your team, Like
all these things coming together, Like if I'm a Mets fan,
(08:40):
I I one hundred percent believe I'm gonna win the
World Series because who's gonna beat us?
Speaker 4 (08:44):
We never give up.
Speaker 3 (08:45):
And I'm gonna take a look at this Brewers team
and go, how much better is that team if it
had I don't know, Steve Collen money. And that's so
there's a lot of fun to be had in the
series coming up for the Mets.
Speaker 5 (08:57):
Hockey's close to this take. I'm'm about to hockey. I
don't think wins this argument. I really do think postseason
baseball does that. When you evaluate a team, a roster,
how positions are moved, how lineups are moved, how you
use guys in situational spots. There is nothing that you've
done for an entire regular season that is totally different
when you hit the postseason, because in hockey, if you
(09:20):
get a hot goalie, you might be able to figure
this thing out. You might be able to play and
ride a hot goalie all the way to the Stanley Cup.
So that one's a little different. But when you're talking
about shifts in line all that stuff, you're usually on pace.
But for baseball, and this is not a cop out
for Leavack and I not giving a great breakdown of
Game one on the way, it's really difficult to say, hey,
all season long, the Mets found success with this recipe,
(09:42):
this system. They're not going to use it.
Speaker 4 (09:45):
They're not.
Speaker 5 (09:45):
And look that's not specific to the Mets. We see
closers used in different spots. You know, you have a
rotation of five for six arms depending on the team.
You might see three starters. How it's balanced, how it's made,
who gets innings, when are they pulled? Wow, all that
stuff is totally different when we evaluate a baseball postseason series.
(10:06):
It is it's a whole different game of how you
handle it when's the season on the line. But you
are in the dance, you're in contention. You mentioned metsdans
think they can win the World Series. You should, like
any other team who is in contention, should believe their
team can do it now, even if you're a Brewer fan.
Usually used to give this heat to the Al Central
in the Minnesota Twins, a tradition unlike any other, the
(10:26):
Twins on a random Wednesday in October being knocked out
of the postseason. We're not doing that this year. Although
Milwaukee Brewer fans realize, maybe even New York sports fan
doesn't realize this. Do you know? The Brewers have been
in the postseason six of the last seven seasons. They've
only missed once and that was in twenty twenty two
and they were ten games above five hundred. The Brewers
have been in the postseason six of the last post
(10:48):
seven postseasons, just one NLCS trip. They've been at the
NLCS twice in about the last fourteen to fifteen seasons.
So they've had a nice run, but they can't get
over the top. Milwaukee thinks this is finally their moment.
I saw Bob Yuker. Yes that Bob Yuker is still
calling games for Major League Baseball's Milwaukee Brewer. It's her
(11:09):
major League. He is not seeing that World Series.
Speaker 4 (11:12):
So Brewer fan.
Speaker 5 (11:14):
They're hungry, they want it, they feel like they're due.
They feel like met fan is too busy just getting
to the postseason. While Brewer fan says this is our
time to advance in the postseason, that crowd is gonna
be hot in Milwaukee and fired.
Speaker 3 (11:27):
Up postseason baseball, Well hear, it's weird to be working
during postseason baseball. That feels odd. I don't feel like
it's like something we don't normally partaken.
Speaker 5 (11:39):
Fox Sports Radio. Not a big fan of play by play.
I found out over the last year and a half. Okay,
you can fix that. I know a guy Jats and Syracuse.
Speaker 3 (11:47):
It almost it almost always comes down to two pitchers,
like if you're, if you're, if you're one of your
two can go out there and just be dominant, you're
gonna win. So it's and I know this is not
how it was originally drawn up, even close. If Luis Severn,
Sean and I can go out there and handle business,
you can be ho on the next level, you can be,
you can be. It won't Stave Peterson the next one.
So of those three, I need two to do well.
Speaker 5 (12:09):
Just because Bobby passes along Bobby l Bobby Leo eleven
just tagged me in this and said, I want to
make sure I get Boby's tweet right. Bobby wrote, Hey,
ABC not airing a Major League Baseball game all year
long then having the rights to do the first game
of the postseason is so stupid. Right now, the Tigers
are up three nothing on the astress.
Speaker 4 (12:27):
Let's go Tigers.
Speaker 5 (12:29):
I understand the take there probably from Bobby that he's
watched baseball a certain way, whether it's through the MLB
app or like you and I were talking about regionally,
how different the games could conclude the regu of their season. Yeah,
that kind of does suckball?
Speaker 4 (12:42):
Say it all.
Speaker 5 (12:43):
Season, didn't need ABC. And then also, the.
Speaker 3 (12:46):
Only thing I will point out is don't forget who
ABC's little brother is ESPN. So it's this is this
is the carrot that that these networks dangle in front
of Major League Baseball and they go, hey, we're gonna
put a bunch of your games on ESPN. And it's like,
I like ESPN a lot those sports fans ESPN, but
it's not one of the major networks. Well, if you
(13:08):
do this, we'll put some of your postseason games on
ABC and They're like, okay, deal, let's do it. And
it's literally if you look on the screen. I just
went over to it, it's ESPN on ABC. So someone
let Bobby know, Bobby help them. Bobby is an ESPN thing, Bobby.
Speaker 5 (13:25):
Can you name not counting sports, not counting sports? Can
you name two shows that air on ABC right now
not have aired currently in the year twenty twenty four?
Speaker 3 (13:36):
This is not fair because remember I cut the cord.
I think a lot of people have cut the cord. Seriously,
can you listening right now? We'll give you about thirty seconds.
Can you name two shows that currently fresh new episodes
air on ABC, not on the app, not on ESPN,
plus two actual shows that air on ABC. I have
(13:56):
one Jimmy Kimmel. Jimmy Kimmel counts that counts.
Speaker 4 (14:00):
Okay, I would, and that would be what then whatever?
The wake up show is a straight hand on that one.
Speaker 5 (14:07):
I don't know which one that doesn't count as a
guest show with the guy it's reads and Kelly who
reaches Kathy Lee still the thing, No, it's not my one,
gentle My guess is going to be Dancing with the Stars.
And I only know that because I know that because
they ran about a thousand promos and last night's Monday
night football game. Yes, nothing says crossover audience like that
(14:30):
double Monday night football audience watching Titans, Dolphins and Carlton
from the Fresh Prince. Gotta get that dancing double header
football audience. ABC.
Speaker 3 (14:39):
Huh, that's you know what, that's an It's a mean
little it's a mean little thing that ABC is doing.
Speaker 4 (14:44):
Right there.
Speaker 3 (14:44):
They're going, hey, he made you watch this, Make him
watch this? At least I hope it's Carlton. Look, man,
one I had won and Kim will be our second. Okay,
oh well yeah, Kimmel's all I got. I don't I
don't remember the rest, but I caught the cord, so
I may watch ABC shows and.
Speaker 4 (15:07):
Not know it.
Speaker 5 (15:08):
That is the correct answer, because when I used to
host trivia in the Capital region, it was one of
my favorite ones. What which one of these shows airs
on this No one knows anymore. No one has any
clue where anything airs. Don't even test what Day Fresh
episodes there. No one has any idea. That's why we
love our podcast audience and our radio audience. You can
sue content whenever you want. We appreciate that. Download the
(15:29):
iHeartMedia app and Apple and Spotify Fresh episode's daily.
Speaker 4 (15:32):
I don't know how. I don't know how to do anything.
I'm useless.
Speaker 3 (15:36):
How about I looked up ABC primetime shows and the
CBS Mornings showed up.
Speaker 4 (15:43):
ABC World News.
Speaker 5 (15:45):
Uh, that's that's That's not even a guess that counts.
Speaker 3 (15:47):
That's that's the thing tonight's TV schedule. Oh was there
vice presidential debate coming up?
Speaker 5 (15:53):
That doesn't count?
Speaker 4 (15:54):
That's the thing.
Speaker 3 (15:56):
I The vice presidential debates always a weird one from me.
It's like, Hey, these two guys that you're forced to
vote for if you want the other person?
Speaker 4 (16:07):
What would you do if something went horribly wrong and
you were in charge? Like? This isn't that kind of
the don't forget.
Speaker 5 (16:13):
Three hours of Vice Presidential Debate is on our sister
station tonight, w g Y one on three one in
eight ten, the oldest radio station in New York State.
Three hours of the VP Debate one O three one
in eight ten. Please listen and you'll probably hear a
few promos and commercials during our show about that debate tonight.
Speaker 3 (16:32):
What would you do? That's the show What would you do?
The show Friday nights. It's a dude hitten camera stuff
on twenty twenty four Monday.
Speaker 5 (16:42):
Prime Time, Monday Slot, What would you Do?
Speaker 4 (16:45):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (16:46):
Are you shocked? Shows like that is America's funniest home video.
Still the thing like, how did the Internet just not
end those shows?
Speaker 3 (16:53):
Like?
Speaker 4 (16:53):
Was it soup? Right?
Speaker 5 (16:54):
Daily soup? Talk Soup? It's just people tash point, Oh,
it's just people watching the Internet ridiculousness. Is that the
name of the show ridiculousness in there?
Speaker 4 (17:05):
That's MTV right, that's just.
Speaker 5 (17:06):
Rob Deerneck watching the internet's clip show.
Speaker 4 (17:09):
It's talk Soup with a skateboard. Dude.
Speaker 5 (17:11):
It's still a concept for TV shows in twenty twenty four.
That's all it is.
Speaker 3 (17:14):
What happened just because ABC happens to have Detroit and
Houston right now.
Speaker 5 (17:20):
Bobby was ready to fire off take it three point
fifteen on a Tuesday, complaining about ABC programming.
Speaker 3 (17:26):
I just got a message that I'm trying to decide
if I should feel like I was a compliment or
an insult.
Speaker 5 (17:31):
Oh that's a tease? Can can you save that coming off?
Speaker 4 (17:33):
Yeah? I sure cats.
Speaker 3 (17:34):

to run more commercials.
Speaker 3 (24:17):
I was busy reading comments before I get to the
to the one that I don't know if I should
be upset or compimented by you said any shows on ABC.
I didn't look at my Facebook. Corey for Greenwich starts
messaging me the Rookie Very Good ABC Show? What about
American Idol? I'm like, you're a nerd here, it's stop.
(24:40):
The Rookie Good Cop Show eleven point nine million viewers
season six.
Speaker 5 (24:45):
I'm like, whoa, I had the ratings ready to go.
Speaker 4 (24:48):
Yeah, did you write it? Like, what's going on there?
Speaker 5 (24:50):
I've never watched The Rookie, but let me try to
guess what it's about. Okay, this fall on ABC, A
rookie police officer doesn't follow the rules, but you're gonna
follow his journey The Rookie ABC this fall. I guarantee
you that's the plot line of the show. I've never
watched that episode, never seen a commercial. I'm almost positive
(25:11):
I just know the plot line of the show.
Speaker 4 (25:13):
Uh no, no, no no.
Speaker 3 (25:15):
It follows John Nolan, a man in his forties who
becomes the oldest rookie of the Los Angeles Police Department.
Starting over isn't easy, especially for small town guy John Nolan, who,
after a life altering incident, is pursuing his dream of
becoming an LAPD officer as the force's oldest rookie.
Speaker 5 (25:38):
You know what, I was pretty close. If I didn't
decide to do Movie Voice Guy and I went with
TV Seld instead, it probably would have nailed it on
the money.
Speaker 3 (25:44):
I know people swear by the Rookie though. There are
people who do love that show. Yeah, the people who
love that show. I just I haven't given it a chance.
Maybe maybe I'll love it. Maybe I'll binge it one
of these.
Speaker 4 (25:54):
One of these days. Maybe probably not. All right, here's
the text I.
Speaker 3 (26:00):
Got, and I I won't. I don't think you'll you
can't go out, you won't be like guess who it is.
But it's just this is this is what I got. Hey,
you're doing anything these days that we can promote our
home tournament this.
Speaker 4 (26:14):
Week on.
Speaker 3 (26:16):
So basically, Hey, we're friends. I know you used to
be on the radio. You still are you on the
radio or you do? What? Should I be offended that
the friends friend of mine, this friend of ours doesn't
know that we're back on the radio and have been
for over a year. Or should I be complimented that
this person goes, you know, if anybody's gonna have a
(26:36):
way to get the word out on this tournament that
we're doing, it's that fat guy.
Speaker 5 (26:40):
Read that one more time, because I bet I can
now who actually they did not?
Speaker 3 (26:45):
I have a feeling, hey, you're doing anything these days
that we can promote our home tournament this week on.
Speaker 4 (26:53):
And then sent me a flyer for the tournament.
Speaker 5 (26:56):
I have two gases. Okay, I got two gases here.
One he's named after a fish. We've called him a
name of a certain type of fish. Shares the same
last name as a very popular player for the Angels.
Speaker 4 (27:12):
I've lost trout.
Speaker 3 (27:15):
Oh no, no, no, no, no, nope, okay, nope, No.
Speaker 4 (27:18):
This is a coach.
Speaker 5 (27:19):
Oh, a coach.
Speaker 4 (27:20):
A coach.
Speaker 5 (27:22):
Oh, it's a coach.
Speaker 4 (27:23):
It's a coach.
Speaker 3 (27:25):
I would never get that then a couple of times. Okay,
I wouldn't have gotten that one. Then I don't know,
I really don't know. Then, coach cash from you already, Okay, okay,
I'm gonna give her a pass. I'm gonna give her
a pass.
Speaker 4 (27:37):
That she doesn't know where the show's back.
Speaker 5 (27:39):
No no, no, no, no, no, no, you all but canning can't. She
might need to be careful because their affiliate is I'm
going to assume she doesn't know the rules of whether
or not you all but you can spec.
Speaker 4 (27:49):
Nohow this she doesn't know. I'm on the radio. All right,
that's where you're gonna go with. I will tell you.
Speaker 3 (27:55):
The Great Danes Invitational is October fifth, through the Norman
Side Country Club in Delmar, New York. I wrote, I
wrote back to coach Cash, so you don't listen to
Levan guys Monday through Friday three to six on Fox
Sports Radio ninety five nine FM and nine eighty AM.
Speaker 4 (28:13):
Do you Lol? She was, and it just came back.
Speaker 3 (28:18):
Oh wow, it's even worse. I think a reply hurts
my feelings even more. Oh no, we got to hear it.
Can't tease. This is not knowing.
Speaker 4 (28:25):
Lol.
Speaker 3 (28:26):
Sorry, that was sort of a blanket text. So she
says to everybody, all right, no, no, no, no, no, you
should feel better. You should feel better. I told you
she didn't know what rules she was following. She just firing.
Speaker 5 (28:37):
She's out there a poo poo poo boo.
Speaker 4 (28:39):
I don't know what I can do.
Speaker 5 (28:40):
I just want to get promoted.
Speaker 4 (28:41):
It worked, it works. You know who was one of her.
Speaker 5 (28:44):
Really good friends.
Speaker 4 (28:45):
That hurts my feelings though.
Speaker 5 (28:46):
You know what about some type of media you just.
Speaker 3 (28:49):
I get a blanket text. I thought we were pals.
You know, Hey, you uh coach golf lately?
Speaker 4 (28:56):
You know, I don't do that in Fana. Coach Cash
and when she gets she helps these ladies, very good teams.
Speaker 5 (29:03):
Usually remind me of my dad there because he would
get these blanket like recruiting letters from acting companies and
he thought they were just personalized to him because they
would have remember right you did too, just ai your name, Like,
oh this is great. They're reaching out to me. What
do you mean it's a blanket statement?
Speaker 4 (29:18):
What uh do you know?
Speaker 5 (29:20):
Coach Cash is one of her good good friends. Is
Michael Irvin? Yeah, that's like her childhood friend.
Speaker 4 (29:27):
Yeah, she's cool. She's a good person. She you know,
do me a favor.
Speaker 3 (29:31):
Well, I liked your better before I found she was
just fishing for you know, plugs for her tournament, which.
Speaker 5 (29:37):
We did give her, which, by the way, right back
to her. We plugged it on the show. Can we
have Michael irvanon.
Speaker 3 (29:42):
Gods asked, I'm not gonna ask, Okay, fair enough, I
should remember, like, hey, you know any NFL athletes, maybe
they were eighty eight, you know that we could possibly
have the show playmakers, any of them. Any It's just like,
this is why you get mad at me when I
joke about I'm like, nobody knows, nobody listens to Rady,
nobody knows, like whatever, I just want.
Speaker 4 (30:02):
To because that's what I get.
Speaker 3 (30:04):
That's how I get blanket text messages from friends asking
me if I'm still doing anything I can help them
out with.
Speaker 4 (30:13):
Man. All right, last night Monday night football. I want
to start with the Lions Seahawks game because that was
the good game. That was dude.
Speaker 3 (30:23):
First things, Dave Montgomery's a man like we talk about
how like Derek Henry runs people over. Montgomery like sets
the tone for the physicality of the Lions offense.
Speaker 5 (30:34):
Montgomery Henry Barkley. Teams just let them lead because they
didn't want to pay them. They're one of the examples
of they're such beasts where you're like, they're so good
at this, They're so good at their position. Everyone knows
genetically they're freaks. They're making place, but we only don't
want them because we feel like running backs don't deserve
(30:55):
With all three producing, all three really good. But Montgomery,
especially in a back to lease, splitting Carey with has
been a bet since he's been in the league with
Chicago now with Detroit, so so uh, underrated, underappreciated.
Speaker 4 (31:07):
So good, so good, And.
Speaker 3 (31:11):
It's weird though when you look at this game, the
Lions game, am I the only one who both goes? Okay,
the Lions are super talented, but I still don't believe
in them because I don't necessarily believe in the coaching.
Speaker 5 (31:24):
Ooh, ouch Slovak. I thought we were Dan Campbell guys
on this show. Dan Campbell guy, why are you doubting
the coaching?
Speaker 3 (31:30):
Now we're going safety is light in the game, where
I think Dan Campbell is the perfect leader of a
team as long as he has the right people around
him to do the technical stuff.
Speaker 5 (31:42):
Okay, so you're you're going with the take of he's
not the x's and o's guys, He's not drawn up
something that's gonna catch the team off guard. I was
gonna say he's not the guy he's gonna go for
it on fourth downe Yes, he is actually.
Speaker 3 (31:53):
Yeah, he's like the leader of like, come on, boys,
four it's fourth and eighty, go get it.
Speaker 5 (31:58):
We can do it, I believe, which is not a criticism,
but you gotta have somebody to pull you back a
little bit.
Speaker 3 (32:03):
So right, well, just like I think that this probably
should be one of the one of, if not the
best team in football with the way that they can play.
But I also I'm gonna give better coaching the edge
over them most of the time.
Speaker 5 (32:22):
Watching the Detroit Lion team last night, they're three and
one now. Their one loss was to Tampa at home.
They beat an undefeated Seattle Seahawk team.
Speaker 3 (32:31):
They annihilated. It was left of the Rams healthy roster.
And I believe the Cardinals is the other win. Okay,
So that and that Cardinal game was back and forth
and it was actually a pretty tight game. Think about
this statement, though, and maybe this is the praise or
the expectation being raised in Detroit. We are talking about
the Detroit Lions. We're talking about the Detroit Lions who
(32:52):
have never played in the Super Bowl. We're talking about
a Detroit Lion franchise who not too long ago two
years ago, four years ago, you looked across the entire NFL,
you could say, of any team in the history of
the NFL, that's the worst franchise of all time ever.
Speaker 5 (33:08):
But Cleveland's gone away. But Cleveland's got some championships pre
NFL and they've got a great history with some Hall
of famers. The Jaguars haven't been around long enough to
have that happen. The Texans haven't been the Lions have
been around. Chicago's won a Super Bowl. She guy has
been to Super Bowls. This was the worst NFL franchise
of any of the franchise. Sorry, Monty, I know that
probably hurt a little bit. But now they've gone from
(33:29):
worst to a few players away at getting to the
super Bowl to now three and one not being good enough.
Like we have to sometimes acknowledge the culture change, the
history change that Jared Goff right now has more receiving
touchdowns than Travis Kelcey, Sam Laporta, Brandon Ayuk combined Jalen
Wattle too. Yeah, I get what you're saying, like you
(33:49):
probably expect more quality out of the Lions, but it's
a hell of an improvement compared to what it was.
Speaker 3 (33:55):
Three to four years ago. No, And look, I just
I and I think I think I'd be very proud
to have Man Campbell as a head coach. I just
think that they're like, at some point he might need
to have like a nerd stash somewhere, like like he's
ops a locker, pulls a nerd out by their underwear
(34:16):
and just Wedgy's something like.
Speaker 4 (34:18):
What should I do here? Nerd? Yell out the numbers?
Speaker 3 (34:20):
Yeah, with the commercial for the note all the football,
the fantasy football note all like that. Kids just sitting
next to him eating, eating a strudle or something, just
waiting to hey, Nerd, what do I do here? So
don't go coach to kick it? Okay, cool? The nerds
said kick it, kick it. I just there's something about them,
like they just they don't feel complete. But I don't
know what part of their roster I would change. They
(34:42):
used to be golf, but dude, dude's perfect eighteen for eighteen.
Speaker 4 (34:48):
Here you go.
Speaker 3 (34:49):
Why I think someone needs to be around Dan Campbell
just just to help, just to like, you're a great motivator.
Speaker 4 (34:56):
You you know what you're doing. You get guys going.
Speaker 3 (34:58):
They they'd run through a brick Wall, they'd bite a
kneecap off for you, what a butt cheek?
Speaker 4 (35:02):
Whatever the hell that we have to do. He didn't
know that Gough was perfect.
Speaker 3 (35:07):
He had the game ball to a safety and the
wide receiver Jameson he like, and he like afterwards he's
like he felt terrible, which God bless him for owning
up to it. I know a lot of guys were lied.
They're like, oh, yeah, no, it's a I expect that
from GoF these guys needed, you know, or something whatever,
But like I'm just saying, like, maybe just that one
(35:27):
extra dude. Like if you watch all right, there's a
definite correlation between Antonio Pierce with the Raiders and Dan
Campbell the Lions. Their motivational guys, like one was offense,
one was defense. But they like you, they they get
their guys all rowing the boat in the same direction.
But you look over and Antonio Pierce is sitting next
(35:48):
to Marvel lewis going what do I do?
Speaker 4 (35:49):
What would you do?
Speaker 11 (35:51):
Like that?
Speaker 3 (35:52):
Which is what I think He's gonna become next level
good at some point.
Speaker 4 (35:56):
Will it be in Vegas? That probably depends on Devont Adams, but.
Speaker 3 (36:00):
Like, who's yeah, I don't know who's who's Dan Campbell's
guy on this staff that that like, listen that that works.
Speaker 4 (36:10):
Shirt ordering boneless wings, but don't do that here.
Speaker 5 (36:15):
Detroit, and I know what you're saying, Like the aggressiveness
of Detroit could potentially cost them games in a very
competitive in the best division in the NFL right now,
which is the NFC North, with Chicago, Minnesota and Green
Bay all looked like playoff contenders. I all looked like
top teams of the NFC. I was impressed by both teams,
which seems like man, am I being really soft with
everybody today. I was impressed Willis team seriously, like Seattle
(36:38):
looked great. Gino Smith made some really nice plays. Kenth
Walker the third is a really good young running back.
Sharpening is good. Dk Metcalf was a beast on the outside.
It was what I wanted, a super high scoring, competitive
game where you got to see some talent. That Detroit
uniform combo, the all black with the blue and.
Speaker 4 (36:55):
The special helmet.
Speaker 5 (36:56):
I loved it, loved it.
Speaker 4 (36:58):
You know what it is. It's one of those.
Speaker 3 (37:00):
Ones that like when you're scrolling the internet at like
two in the morning, you can't sleep and they alternate uniform, You're.
Speaker 4 (37:06):
Like, why wouldn't my team do that? That's awesome and
they never do it. The Lions did one. I think
the Lions of the Falcons have done them.
Speaker 1 (37:13):
Now.
Speaker 5 (37:14):
There was a time like during the old God Color
Rush games Man, that feels like forever ago?
Speaker 4 (37:18):
Am I been?
Speaker 5 (37:19):
Six years ago? They're doing color Rush.
Speaker 4 (37:21):
I hated color Rush.
Speaker 5 (37:22):
I did two.
Speaker 4 (37:23):
I didn't hate it for the reason you hated it.
Speaker 5 (37:25):
Well, the re I hated color Rush was because it
was just so over the top. I actually started caring
about whether or not I linked to uniforms, like, you
guys are just doing this now, like you're just selling
these every Those are one of my favorite uniform combos
of a team. I can even remember post Color Rush
of I'm back into it now, but they're three and
one and they're definitely a contender.
Speaker 4 (37:44):
The reason I hate color Rush is the Raiders color
Rush would just be white.
Speaker 5 (37:48):
That's right.
Speaker 3 (37:49):
It's like, what, like, you just we can't go all black,
we can't silver something, Nope, white done.
Speaker 4 (37:57):
I don't know that.
Speaker 3 (37:58):
I think the Lions are I have the Lions going
farther than the Seahawks based on that game. But not much,
not a ton farther. I think this like like McDonald
than those guys like I think they learned a lot
during that game.
Speaker 5 (38:11):
Oh, I got a tough question for you here.
Speaker 4 (38:15):
I think algebra. I'm not good at algebra.
Speaker 5 (38:17):
What is a more likely result the Seattle Seahawks win
the NFC West or the Detroit and Lions finishing last
place in the North. More likely results Lions in last
or Seahawks in first.
Speaker 4 (38:36):
More likely would be wow. I don't think either is likely.
Speaker 3 (38:41):
I haven't been I guess the Seahawks and first, if
if somehow San Franz stumbled, because I think that's more
likely than Chicago getting past Detroit at this point, which
I thought Chicago's gonna be a world beater, like but
Green Bay's. Man, I get second to last is differ conversation,
but not last.
Speaker 5 (39:01):
I would say Seattle as well, but San Francis got
more because of injuries. And there's every day there's a
new report on McCaffrey. I read a report I gotta
be you know. Social media said it. I would play
the sounder here of journalistic integrity out the window. I'm
reading to reports that they said McCaffrey's both of his
calfs now have tendonitis. Like you can't, he can barely run.
(39:24):
Where are these reports coming from? But if McCaffrey's out,
I could say Seattle more likely win in the division
than Chicago, Green Bank and Minnesota all finishing ahead of Detroit.
That one's hard for me to get on, even though
if they lose that game last night, they're tied for
last place.
Speaker 3 (39:43):
I saw one report that like he went like overseas
to see specialists and stuff from about ten of Nights.
Speaker 5 (39:49):
And German doctor right Yi.
Speaker 3 (39:52):
Yeah, I don't know that whole it's wild huh uh Yeah,
I'm I'm I like watching the Lions games, but there
is always that moment like he's Dan Campbell is the wildcard.
He is the maybe the greatest wildcard in the NFL.
I think when he when you see him put that
paper up to his face and I'm gonna make a
(40:14):
call right now, I think there's just as much likelihood
that's gonna be touched out for him as the other team.
Speaker 4 (40:20):
I like, like, fate be damned, go like what I like.
It's just it's fun to watch. It's fun to watch.
Speaker 5 (40:27):
I would love to see the truy get to a
Super Bowl because they're pretty bounced golf, Montgomery, Gibbs, Laporta,
Saint Brown, Hutchinson, Aaron Glenn As a defensive coordinator. Ben
Johnson's the OC Like you got a lot of talented
balance attacks out there, but you're the fear for Lions
fans is it might be balanced? But aggression? How many
(40:48):
fourth downs can you go for?
Speaker 4 (40:49):
How many? All of them? All of them? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (40:54):
I just he is He's intriguing. He is he the
Is he the head coach in the NFL that you'd
most like to sit down with for a couple of
minutes right.
Speaker 4 (41:03):
Now and talk to?
Speaker 3 (41:05):
Oh that's a great question because again, like I believe
they win and lose because of didn't Campbell?
Speaker 4 (41:12):
I think he's both.
Speaker 5 (41:15):
Yes, Yeah, I don't know. Andy Reid has become more
like any Reid was not likable before he was winning Superwls.
Any Reids somebody who didn't know when holidays were for
a time. But now he's become more likable everybody.
Speaker 4 (41:31):
But is Tom gonna talk to you?
Speaker 3 (41:33):
I like, like the the best part of that commercial
was it is it Applebe's where he's either ordering the
wings when he's like, because I could see him joining
you at Applebee's, Like I could see Dan Campbell going,
I'll come to Applebe's with you.
Speaker 4 (41:46):
We'll hang out, like I could.
Speaker 3 (41:48):
I could see that happen, and you actually walking out
there going I learned a lot about Dan Campbell today,
like I but like we're like Mike tom Vick. I'm
only gonna talk to you until they tell me I
don't have to talk to you, and then I'm gonna leave.
Because a lot of people want a hot dog. They
don't want to know how the hot dog is made. Okay,
so go ahead, what are your bonus wings?
Speaker 4 (42:07):
Leave me alone. It's my top thirty. It's not a
bad Tomalin. It was really good.
Speaker 5 (42:11):
It's really good. There's like the Talblin and Doc Rivers
isn't too far off. You just gotta turn down the
voice a little bit of like you're more more King jested.
My top three's Dan Campbell, Mike Tomlin. Don't feel great
about my third pick, but I'm keeping in here. Mike McDaniel,
do you do the weed?
Speaker 16 (42:29):
No?
Speaker 4 (42:29):
You know me, I'm not bad. I wouldn't hang out
with Mike McDaniel.
Speaker 5 (42:31):
I like to pick his brain, though, I'd like to
see what's going on up there.
Speaker 3 (42:34):
I guarantee you that Mike McDaniel has you puffing up
eight ben within thirty seconds of walking to the door.
Speaker 5 (42:41):
You gave me ten minutes, right, that was the I'm
not going forty with Mike McDaniel. I'm not going twenty
ten minute window. I'll just say you like a sit
down conversation. I think I think Dan Campbell would be
one of my top Antonio Piers again like go, but
with Antonio peers like you're hopping in a convertible Impala
and you're going for a drive and you may or
may not be in the car when he gets back,
(43:02):
like you might have he make because he gets sick
out of you. You're getting out and wherever you are,
that's where you are.
Speaker 4 (43:09):
Am I right? You're absolutely right.
Speaker 3 (43:11):
I'm frightened by it, which is which is what makes
it exciting. If Rex Ryan was still here, it would
be Rex. Rex is always number one on my list.
Rex is always number one. He will always be number one.
I do love any read, but eventually any read only
talks football and any reasons either gonna talk football or burgers.
Speaker 4 (43:27):
There's gonna be no.
Speaker 3 (43:29):
Like any of these other Like all of them for
me are wild cards where they could end up and
I could get like a great conversation John Gruden if
Grooden was wrong, I'd love to talk grood But he's
another one. I think it'll just go football. Like Gruden's
not gonna sit there all right, dude, tell me the
worst email they probably found.
Speaker 4 (43:46):
I'll tell you what tell you right now. Not gonna
want to be with me.
Speaker 16 (43:50):
No, Like.
Speaker 3 (43:52):
There's a couple others, but Dan Cannibell is definitely like
one of the guys like you just because you have
no idea what's gonna happen. You have no idea where
they go harball, But it's gonna be all football. But
it's the most intense football conversation you ever had in
your life. Why why'd you get fat Nolan New Radio?
You don't love football?
Speaker 4 (44:13):
Do we are?
Speaker 3 (44:13):
We?
Speaker 5 (44:14):
Yeah, let's do this phone call because I elevation ten
thousand phone lines, elevate your brand today of the elevation
ten thousand. We haven't heard from this kind a while.
I know a few other people are trying to get through, uh,
but you know what, we're gonna take this guy. His
name is Corey and Greenwich. Hello Corey, Hi guys, what's
up Corey Edward?
Speaker 4 (44:32):
No, why would I want to talk to her? Medwords?
Speaker 17 (44:38):
He's the winning coach.
Speaker 4 (44:39):
You know he hates me. That's why you said it.
You just beat a jerk. Corey.
Speaker 5 (44:45):
Did you get my message about my dad hearing you?
Speaker 4 (44:48):
Yeah?
Speaker 17 (44:49):
I heard that. I called in about I wanted to
hear about what they thought about Michigan.
Speaker 5 (44:56):
Who are they? And that's not Levak and Gazzi called into.
Speaker 7 (45:00):
Oh yeah I did.
Speaker 4 (45:01):
Yep, that was not us, Corey.
Speaker 5 (45:03):
What else is on your mind today besides insulting Levac
and insulting us?
Speaker 17 (45:08):
Stop you got? If I add to a mount Rushmore,
which which Lovak loves, you guys, would be the number one.
Speaker 5 (45:17):
I don't even know what that means.
Speaker 3 (45:18):
No, what he's saying is he calls every radio show
that has a phone line. Uh huh, but he does
love us the most. Oh okay, well thank you, Corey.
Speaker 17 (45:26):
That's all radio shows, of all sports radio shows, you
guys are the number one.
Speaker 4 (45:32):
Oh Corey, that is so nice of you just took
off my ring. I got so excited. What are you
gonna cheat now? Corey Corey, do you have Harry one?
Speaker 5 (45:42):
Why didn't you call in today?
Speaker 4 (45:44):
Yes?
Speaker 5 (45:44):
What what opinion? What question would you like to share
at the Capitol Region?
Speaker 4 (45:48):
What do you have for us?
Speaker 17 (45:49):
Is Jared Goff the number one quarterback in the nf
E Oh wow, there's a time when.
Speaker 4 (45:58):
That question wouldn't even be close to being even being entertained.
Speaker 5 (46:04):
So you're asking if we power ranked the quarterbacks playing
right now through September of twenty twenty four. You know what, Corey,
I would put him this is just then. I would
put him at two, and I'm almost putting him at three.
I'm I'm back and forth. I was gonna say Baker.
Speaker 4 (46:23):
I was gonna say Baker.
Speaker 5 (46:24):
I was gonna say Baker.
Speaker 4 (46:25):
Take golf or Baker every day of the week.
Speaker 5 (46:27):
Fine, because of the Denver game. Baker wasn't great in
that game, so I will give golf too. Baker was three.
You know who's number one for me?
Speaker 4 (46:33):
Sam Donald?
Speaker 5 (46:34):
Right now? Sam Donald would be number one.
Speaker 4 (46:37):
The only reason I would flip that and go Corey.
Speaker 3 (46:39):
And that's why Corey makes sense is God, I have
a bigger picture of GoF doing this.
Speaker 4 (46:43):
He's done it since he got to Detroit. He's been
the man. So you go golf one.
Speaker 3 (46:49):
It's either I mean, I guess I could go Dak,
but even him, he doesn't do it consistently. Jered Goff
completely changed his career when he got to Detroit. And
the NFC is so like Jalen Hurts should be better,
Dak Prescott should be better. I mean Sam Donald should,
they should they all should be better. But the guy
(47:10):
that right now, you know, you're getting really solid football
from every time he goes out there in the NFC.
It's just the NFC, it's your Goff. Goff is three
and one right now. He's top five in yards, top
ten in the NFL in a perfect touchdown, perfect night
last night, perfect game last night.
Speaker 4 (47:28):
Caught a touchdown.
Speaker 5 (47:29):
Sam Donald in the top eight in passing yards, but
leading the league right now with the four to oh
record and eleven touchdown passes. So if you asked us
that same question two weeks from now, we might change
our answer, but that's how I would have it right now.
Speaker 4 (47:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 17 (47:42):
Yeah, because Minnesota is going to get beat this Sunday.
Speaker 5 (47:46):
WHOA, You're called the upset. The Jets are gonna come
join us. You know we gotta see your meat. Man,
It's been too long since we've seen your meat.
Speaker 17 (47:52):
Unfortunately, I'll be in Waterford farmers Market at that time,
all right, because you're a.
Speaker 5 (47:58):
Farmer, that's right. That's why we're asking him. That's your meat?
Speaker 4 (48:01):
Thank you?
Speaker 5 (48:02):
Okay, and you're nuts, that's right, thank you.
Speaker 4 (48:04):
Thanks, Cory.
Speaker 5 (48:07):
Say you say we did a good job.
Speaker 4 (48:08):
Please, I need that compliment.
Speaker 3 (48:12):
That's the best Cory call of all time. That is,
he got you to talk about his meat. He asked
a solid question that made us think. Eddie Lyon said
we were his favorite.
Speaker 4 (48:22):
That's all.
Speaker 5 (48:22):
If you've never heard of Corey and Green, which called
that's your first, that's the best it's ever going to be.
Speaker 4 (48:27):
That's it. That is that is number one.
Speaker 5 (48:29):
If we power ranked Corey and Green, which calls that's it.
Speaker 3 (48:32):
If there was an NFC championship game and Jared Gosco
in tote tote of the other quarterback, I don't know
who I take over him.
Speaker 5 (48:38):
I really don't right now. Not Dak Dak in your question,
which is different than Corey's.
Speaker 3 (48:46):
You know, obviously Mahomes is the dog. He's the best
of all right now, but like Goss is the most
consistent quarterback.
Speaker 4 (48:54):
In the NFC.
Speaker 5 (48:55):
Wait, wait a second, Wait a second. Okay, maybe I
forgot somebody here. Immediately jump Dak, I went to Darnold,
I mentioned Baker. Maybe you and I are very much
at underestimating brock Perty. Rock Perty played well in the
playoffs last season. Brock Party with Juwan Jennings almost won
a Super Bowl pretty second passing yards. He played great
(49:16):
without Deebo and McCaffrey. So maybe we're both underestimating in.
Speaker 3 (49:21):
And if anybody wants to hold this against me, that's fine.
Fantasy football buyas he's never has great fantasy football games.
All he does is win in the real world.
Speaker 4 (49:31):
What a loser. No, he's definitely, Yeah, he's up there.
I don't.
Speaker 3 (49:36):
That's if you had told me that, I would have
to think twice about Jared Goffey, one of the best
quarterbacks in the NFC, I would be like, you're insane,
And Corey is a little insane, which makes him great
for that to come up with that question. All right,
let's talk about the other Monday night game coming up
at first. Talk to you about our good friends over
at elevation ten thousand. Of course, they sponsor our phone

Speaker 3 (54:41):
I feel like we can do this one kind of quick.
I'm voting for two Tobolowa as the MVP. Of the
National Football League. After the last two weeks, I think
he's proven without a doubt that he's the most valuable
player on the Dolphins. Mike McDaniel is one and six
(55:02):
without Tua the last two games. The Dolphins are two
for twenty two on third down, zero for five on
fourth down, which is a point zero seven percent conversion rates.
They're also two and eight in primetime night games. Under McDaniel,
they have been outscored two hundred and fifty seven to
one hundred and sixty nine in those games. So without Tua,
(55:25):
you see Mike McDaniel on the sideline. Tyreek Hill has
thrown an absolute meltdown on their way to a thirty
one to twelve butt weapon by a not good Tennessee team,
and he's just staring, staring. He doesn't know what to
do with himself. Two is the MVP, and Mike McDaniel
might be an OC and the not too just in
the future.
Speaker 5 (55:45):
I can't believe what I watched yesterday, like shocked, because
two has been considered an average quarterback. We had real
conversations of whether or not two is anywhere close to
being worth what they're gonna pay him. Dolphins have been
better on ofphense. Statistically, two have led the NFL in
passing yards last season. I believe he was up there
in passing touchdowns as well. But to watch the drop
off between Tua and whatever else they trotted out there
(56:08):
yesterday Snoop hunt Ley and there's a play where Tyreek
Hill pizza guy one on one, he overthrows him. But
we saw third strips for the Dolphins over through.
Speaker 4 (56:18):
The dude's nickname is the Cheetah overthrow that dude be clear.
Speaker 5 (56:22):
Yeah, And we saw a second and third string running
backs do well for the Dolphins from last night's game.
I thought about Mike McDaniel, like, doesn't this just happen
in the NFL? We can go back to the days
of RG three, where Kaepernick's in this conversation too, where
there are people who just take over the NFL with
(56:42):
an dophense that they're running the wildcat offense. Hell, the
Dolphins know it, Ronnie Brown, and then eventually the NFL
teams figure you out. That's sort of what yesterday felt like,
that it hadn't been just to it, Like was Tua
gonna go out there and be that much of a difference.
That's hard for me to believe, but got a big
example and now multiple examples of it. Look at this team,
look at this franchise going from a playoff contender to
(57:05):
whatever that was yesterday. So uh, MVP. I don't know
if I'll go that far, but the significance of losing
to it, there is no more denying. And after Miami's
performance last night, I.
Speaker 3 (57:15):
Heard somebody say it. I don't even I remember who
it was. I would give the credit if I could.
Anyone who didn't feel like that contract was justified has
to after the last two games like he he is
what makes that offense work.
Speaker 4 (57:29):
He understood.
Speaker 3 (57:30):
He translates Mike mcdale like his mind into action on
the football field. He's the conduit between those two things.
Because I still believe Mike mcdaliel's an offensive genius, or
or as close as you can get to it, you
know nowadays with the way everything's set up. But he's
got to have the perfect guy to run that offense.
(57:50):
And not having it who and I guess, as you said,
for verybody, but this Dolphins team. He he looks distraught
to me, like he looks lost to me, and maybe
maybe the maybe he's the answer the question I asked
a couple minutes back. Maybe he should be the nerd
sitting next to Dan Campbell. Can you imagine him running
(58:12):
that offense for the for the Lions.
Speaker 5 (58:14):
He's had success in his crib before as an assistant.
He's always been viewed as an offensive guy. They're done,
they're toast. Like watching that example of what happened with
two of yesterday, it's either two was gonna come back
here in the next month whenever he gets off the
IR if he wants to continue to play football. And
I know everybody's an amateur doctor on social media telling
him what's best for him.
Speaker 4 (58:32):
Oh he's coming back, dude. I don't know why for him,
but he's coming back.
Speaker 5 (58:35):
He is coming back. I'm convinced he's coming back. He
knows how important he is. He looked like he wanted
to play last night during the game. Yep, rip off
the hat rip off. Come on, come on, I can
go do that. So, yeah, Dolphin fan, you watched it
last night. The significance of the importance of what two
is for that team, all.
Speaker 3 (58:53):
Right, that's aside from that. I didn't care about that game.
Will Levis gets hurt Mason Rudolph looks just as bad.
That's just those both those teams. I'm not afraid of
either of them, Tennessee. Can we eliminate them? They're eliminated
from the playoffs right now, it's done. You're out of here.
Uh you know who's not out of here unless you us, Well,
unless we wanted to get on a CDT, a boss
(59:14):
or whatever, we could.
Speaker 4 (59:15):
We could go anywhere. They've got over fifty routes connecting
us with matters.
Speaker 3 (59:18):
Guys, we just walk right out there to trust get
root seven, hop on a CDT a bus and be
on our way.
Speaker 4 (59:25):
We could.
Speaker 3 (59:25):
We could do a bunch of other things too, like
how about the uh the CDPHP cycle featuring e bikes.
Speaker 4 (59:32):
We could do that. You make some e bikes, all right?
I'm too lazy.
Speaker 3 (59:37):
I'd rather do the uh the drive electric car sharing program.
I think it's more it's more of my speed. I
don't really I don't feel like pedaling. I don't know
how the e bike works. I gotta figure that out.
Is there pedaling or is it like one of those
motorized bikes. If it's motorized, I'm in. If it's peddling,
let's go for the let's just get on the bus.
