(00:00):
One to one point five. Yeah, YEFM. Madison's class sig rock on
this two for Tuesday. Also Beyondthe Stunts Tuesday with Legacy Exteriors. No
Josh Gwaz today but in his placeAmanda Alexander, how are you? I'm
great? Yeah, good to hear, Good to hear now, right,
Obviously you specialize over Legacy Exteriors inthe four season Sunrooms aspect of what you
(00:21):
guys do, So let's kind oftalk about what that is just briefly here
to start, because that's really takenoff really as a big part of what
you guys do at Legacy Exteriors. It has, it has, which is
so exciting because we're loving how busywe are with that. So our four
season sun room products are pergolas withthe you know the Luverard roofs sunrooms four
(00:42):
season, three season we can evendo just start you off with a nice
screen porch and then come back inlater and fit those you know those four
season windows. M. Yeah,we got a lot going on. Yeah,
and we've talked to you before inprevious Beyond the Stunts Tuesdays, but
I think one thing maybe we haven'thint on so much is this doesn't have
to be a project you take onwith the new built. If you've got
(01:03):
an existing room, or even ifyou've got you know, like a porch
that you wish, man, Iwish it would have put screens on them,
all that kind of stuff. Yeah, I love That's one thing I
love about this is it's very customizableto every home. So we can if
we're just coming over and you're juststarting with a deck, we will inspect
that deck and see if we canbuild right up on top of that.
Or if the you know, weneed to start fresh with some new footings,
we'll do that too. But wecan build these sunrooms onto the back
(01:29):
of any home. We will makeit fit. We will build out some
walls if we need it to fita little better. We'll tie in all
the roof even if it's a ranch. You know, we're really promoting the
cathedral ceiling because that looks so niceon the inside. Aitizing so nice to
those rooflines. But yeah, ifyou have a screen porch or just you
know, a porch that's open,we can come in and customize individual walls
(01:52):
to fit in those spaces. Sowe don't want homeowners. I feel like
they got to tear it down anyyou know, support beams. We're going
to work with what you have withthe man Alexander from a legacy exteriors and
you know, I feel like sometimeswhen people do a project like this,
really they're adding under their home.Right, So you guys, when you're
finished, when people look at it, when they drive by from the street
view of it, it's going tolook like this was originally part of the
(02:13):
home. Yeah, And that's reallythe goal is. We're trying to use
the materials that look the best wherethis. You know, the roofing is
going to be seamless, hanging in. We're using our legacy exterior you know,
expertise roofing crew to come in andcomplete these projects. We want it
to look like it's supposed to beright exactly. It was always there.
It's always there, always there. So let's talk about money budgets, Right.
(02:34):
Everybody's gotten a different sort of youknow budget they're working on. But
you guys really have an option fora lot of people out there when it
comes to the four seasons room endof things. Yeah, I think you
know, we will sit down withyou if you have a budget in mind
to start with that's great. Iwill say that when I come to homes,
most people just don't know what aroom like this will cost. So
that's the best part is sitting down, opening that design program. That price
(02:57):
will pop right up for them, and then homeowner can decide where that budget
is going to lie. So ifthey want to see, you know,
tempered glass kickplates, we'll add that. If they don't see value and spending
that kind of money to have glassaround the bottom of the room that where
furniture might be, your plants mightbe, then we'll fill those back in
with those solid panels and then that'show we keep the homeowners in control of
their budgets. Talk with Man Alexanderfrom Legacy Exteriors. They are four season
(03:22):
sun room specialists. So you justtalked about you know, you go to
someone's home, you sit down, you talk about what they want. But
also that's when you really get toknow them, because I'm assuming with people
who want a four seasons sun roomproject here. Some people may want it
for the early morning hours to seethe sun, some people may want it
an to entertain. All those optionsare available. Yeah, absolutely, most
(03:43):
people I would say, definitely wanta coffee drinking run. Everybody loves to
sit outside in the morning. Yeah, but it's really nice to get to
know people and what they're going touse that space for and get an idea
of how many people might be inthat room, because that might help us,
again back to the budget, adjustthe size of the room. Sure,
So if we need to go alittle bit smaller to get it in
your budget, that's awesome. Wecan do that. But if you're ready
(04:04):
to host a large amount of peopleand spend a lot of time in that
room day or night, right, then we're going to give you the biggest
space possible that you can afford.Yeah. And also, you know,
you talk about going to their homeand you sit down and you really get
to know them, you kind ofmap out the project that they want to
tackle. Let's also talk about it. You can bring that project to life
(04:27):
in their homes for them. Yeah. I love being able to create the
room, but then also create thatQR code. So once I create that
QR code, we can scan itwith my phone and then the app will
basically create that structure in you know, it's a somewhat three D model,
so we can hold up the phoneand walk around and be able to see
exactly what that structure would look like. So I'm talking to mension too.
(04:50):
So we can go next to awall and see how far out like a
poster or beam might be, andthen they really get a feel for furniture
placement or what that space would looklike, you know overall. Yeah,
and people can take your phone andthey can move it from wall to wall
to wall and see it right therein front of it. Yeah. And
so I usually say I'll be rightback, and I step out onto their
deck and then place the room forthem. So then when I come back
(05:12):
into the home from their patio door, they're looking out into the room.
So it's pretty cool. So wedon't even have to go outside. They
can just stand in their kitchen orthrough their patio door and see the view
from inside. Now what that wouldlook like with those windows and walls.
And it's so cool because you canactually see like where the bottom wall is,
sure that wall is there visually, and then if there's trees outside,
(05:34):
the trees will just obviously behind thewindows. But it's just such a cool
feature that they'll see what the newview would look like. Well. I
think that's so important too, becauseas I talk to Josh about, you
know, when we want to puta new roof fund our homes are siding,
shingle, color, side and color, all that kind of stuff.
To be able to see it beforeyou actually purchase it is huge. And
(05:54):
you can do that same thing withthe four season some Room. Yeah.
The hover that like a C Exteriorsuses for those exterior projects is just so
impressive. I love that program. And then to be able to do something
similar with the four season Sunrooms,it really helps people who need that extraal
visual basically creative support to be like, oh, now I see it.
(06:15):
Because it's you know, it's ona flat piece of paper. It's hard
for some people to visualize the actualdimension. I can also see in my
head. Now maybe a husband ora wife is on board, but the
other isn't. But if you couldvisually show them, I don't let anybody
say no to what. Well, then it's like, okay, maybe we
do get the trans and Wyndom's overheadbecause I can see how cool it is
to half that much extra exactly,So it's very cool. Yeah, And
(06:35):
you talked about glass there, andbefore I let you go, I want
to you know, because we talkedabout this one of the previous times you
were in here. But let's talkabout that stay clean technology in the windows.
Yeah, that's one of the bestfeatures of the four season sunroom products,
as our glasses made here in springGreen, Wisconsin at Cardinal Glass four
four seasons that you know, thosecodings that they have, it's called Conservo
(06:57):
Glass NXT and that creates just areally smooth surface a little bit a little
bit tinted to keep those uby youknow, raise out and the heat and
stuff out too. But then onceit rains, that dirt is just washing
right off those windows. So anotherlayer of maintenance free product for homeowners.
It sounds too good to be true, doesn't it. Well, let's put
one on your house and look atyou talking me into it. Wow,
