Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is a podcast from wor from Everywhere, USA. It's
Fox Across America with Jimmy Fayla.
Speaker 2 (00:08):
Oh Girl, Here we Go, Here we Go, Comedy Alive
from the Greatest country in the World, broadcasting from the
tippy top of the Fox News headquarters in New York City.
It is a Tuesday episode of Fox Across America with
Jimmy Fayla. A man who never played the president on TV.
Martin Sheen did in a show called The West Wing,
and he was better at pretending to be the President
(00:30):
of the United States.
Speaker 1 (00:30):
Than Joe Biden was.
Speaker 3 (00:32):
I agree with that.
Speaker 2 (00:33):
I don't know that Obama does, but we're going to
discuss it on a very busy episode of the show
because Hollywood is once again weighing in on politics, causing
Americans to respond, will you shut up? Nobody cares what
actors think about politics. You are famous because you hit
the genetic lottery. You are so good looking that we
(00:56):
are willing to pay twenty two dollars for a popcorn
to you recite words that were written for you by
an ugly person. The point is, yes, I was in
those screenwriting rooms for a long time.
Speaker 1 (01:08):
And that's why Martin Sheen is famous.
Speaker 2 (01:11):
He's not famous because anybody cares what he thinks about politics,
but especially on a day where Donald Trump brings peace
to the Middle East, something we've been working on for
three thousand years, and gets the hostages back from Hamas Yes,
the world, the world applauded that he's getting a standing
(01:32):
over from every world leader in the Middle East, everybody
in Europe and of all places, Joe Scarborough at MSNBC.
Speaker 1 (01:41):
Joe Scarborough, this guy's so serious as a lot.
Speaker 2 (01:44):
Of people feel that way, but give the guy credit.
Because Joe Scarborough even gave Trump praise for his ability
to corral dictators strong men, force them to respect America
and bend to his will. This is something you've never
seen before on MSNBC. You know, they always tell you
we got to be on the lookout for anything strange
(02:05):
or unusual. Well, if MSNBC is praising Donald Trump, it's
time to if you see something, say something, that whole thing.
So I want to start there and then we're gonna
make our way down to Martin Sheen. And there's a
very teachable moment as to why a lot of times
people will say something to you called lead. You know,
(02:26):
read the room. You gotta read the room. How dare
you say that read the room?
Speaker 3 (02:30):
You know?
Speaker 2 (02:31):
And I always push back on that as a comedian
because in comedy your job is not to read the room.
Your job is to lead the room. You're the only
guy in the room of the microphone. You are in charge.
You establish the vibe, you set the terms of the negotiation,
and you lead the room.
Speaker 1 (02:48):
You lead it when you're right, you're right, and you're right.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
So to that point, okay, I will tell you that
Joe Scarborough was at least in the room. Was Martin
short even in the room? Not even close? Starwit Scarborough.
Clip five.
Speaker 4 (03:10):
A very telling moment where Donald Trump said that he
actually got along better with some of the strong men
that he was up on stage with and the democratically
elected leader, something that many people have been observing for
a decade now. But as you saw the president up
there with Ertawan from Turkey, with the leaders of Katari,
(03:31):
with support from Egypt, support from the Saudis, support from
strong men around the region, it does seem that in
a sense that Donald Trump was singular in a sense
impact that most other presidents would not have not only
dealt with those leaders the way he did as aggressively
(03:53):
as he did. But to my mind, other president probably
would not be feared as.
Speaker 1 (04:02):
Much as Donald Trump.
Speaker 2 (04:04):
Honesty, and that last line is the be all end.
Other presidents would not be feared as much as Donald Trump.
Speaker 1 (04:15):
Okay, that's the reality.
Speaker 2 (04:17):
We know that because they invaded under Biden, and after
everybody in his administration saying don't, they went.
Speaker 1 (04:26):
Out and they did. Biden sucks. A lot of people
feel that way.
Speaker 2 (04:31):
You know, Obama famous for drawing his red lines only
to watch them be violated on the world stage. Guys
see traditional politicians as predictable. They understand that what these
guys value is reelection or retention of power above all else.
(04:53):
When they see Trump coming down the street, they see
a guy from the private sector who wants things done
correc and deficiently, because that's how you win in the
private sector. If you have a problem that's averaging money,
you don't go out. We'll just let it happen for
another twelve years because we don't want to piss anybody
off before the election. We'll just come back after the election.
(05:14):
We can you know, got to do some patchwork legislation,
spend a couple more bucks, kick the can down the road,
and on and on. And that's how it's worked in
the Middle East forever. They can look at our politicians
and figure out what they're after, what their political endgame is,
and they can slow roll them, they can disrespect them,
but most importantly, they can deny America the ability to
(05:38):
use all the leverage it has financially and military. And
Scarborough is basically trying to say that Trump is better
at stopping now than other people here.
Speaker 4 (05:49):
It is Clip six, And as I looked at the
assemblage up there, I did understand that a lot of
that was going on because people's fear of Donald Trump.
Speaker 1 (05:58):
The old saying.
Speaker 4 (06:00):
It's better to be feared than loved. That's something that
I've always wanted to see in a leader. But for
the purpose of yesterday, where you saw Ertawan meekly to
his left and the guitari leader meekly to his right,
the shoe fit there.
Speaker 2 (06:17):
So think about that, and he's basically saying Trump, like him,
hate him, whatever the hell you think, dictator. Strong men,
the guys who pride themselves on walking into a room
and saying, everybody better kiss my ass.
Speaker 5 (06:32):
Wrong.
Speaker 2 (06:33):
It doesn't happen under Trump because he's not afraid to
use our leverage.
Speaker 1 (06:39):
I bring this all up because Martin.
Speaker 2 (06:40):
Sheen yesterday's doing a live event with MSNBC. Okay, MSNBC
is getting kicked out of the NBC studios at the
end of the month because they're divesting themselves.
Speaker 1 (06:51):
Of the brand.
Speaker 2 (06:52):
This could be a problem, and they're trying to make
more money doing live events. But the live event they
held happened to coincide with Donald Trump delivering the signature
piece deal of our time. Guys like peace in the
Middle East, Hamas giving up hostages and yeah, they're losing
control of Gaza, but they're gaining control of the New
York City Mayor's residence, the way things are going with
(07:14):
Mom Donnie in his tweets. But the point is, Martin
Sheen decides to tell an MSNBC crowd that Donald Trump
needs to realize he's the biggest nothing in the world.
And he's speaking in metaphors about how governance should be
humble in this and that, but he's saying it on
the day that Donald Trump has actually established himself as
(07:37):
the biggest something something in the world.
Speaker 5 (07:42):
You're right, and when you're right, you're right, and you
you're always right.
Speaker 2 (07:46):
And back to that earlier lesson I mentioned, I said,
you know, there's a teachable moment about read the room,
lead the room and everything, and you got to be
in the room.
Speaker 1 (07:51):
You know, I was talking about that. But the bigger
issue for like.
Speaker 2 (07:54):
People in Hollywood is there's just such a brazen lack
of self awareness because they're living off in Hollywood. Okay,
you're in Hollywood. You make thirty million dollars a movie
or for these TV shows, and you, you know, spend
most of your days playing pickleball, doing pure cocaine, surrounded by.
Speaker 1 (08:10):
Starlet's hubba hubba. Oh, I'm with you. It's a good
gig if you can get it.
Speaker 2 (08:14):
But the point is, Martin Sheen is speaking out yesterday
to a room full of other people whose emotions are
their facts.
Speaker 1 (08:20):
Trump is bad.
Speaker 2 (08:21):
Okay, the Democrats have spent two years saying we've got
to end the war in Gaza. On the day Trump
ends it, they're out there criticizing the guy.
Speaker 1 (08:29):
Democrats are so full of crat totally.
Speaker 2 (08:32):
But Martin Sheen here, he is going in on Trump
Clip seventeen.
Speaker 6 (08:35):
So the big guy in the White House if he
would take some personal advice.
Speaker 1 (08:40):
You've got to realize, sir, that you are the biggest
nothing in the world.
Speaker 6 (08:45):
And and sir, you stop there, You stop listening to
all these people around you, these sick offense who are
encouraging you to be your non human Get in touch
with that humanity.
Speaker 1 (09:02):
Stop fussing with your hair, don't worry.
Speaker 6 (09:04):
About your tie, and stand up straight and speak clearly,
not from your throat, speak from your heart, and start
being human. That's what you were made for, not golf.
So there you are, mister president. We'd all do respect here.
Speaker 1 (09:21):
So I'm sun.
Speaker 2 (09:24):
It's Martin Sheen telling Donald Trump to start being human.
On the day you're watching families reunite with loved ones
bursting into tears, On the day that farmers are literally
mowing no bell for Trump into their crops, on the
day every world leader is singing Donald Trump's praises, Martin
(09:47):
Sheen's on stage telling you that the guy is blowing it.
Speaker 1 (09:51):
I mean, come on, thank you for the education, gentlemen.
We've just received a PhD in stupidity.
Speaker 2 (09:58):
But it really is a teachable moment for you, eachable
moment for me. And what I mean about that is
it's a self awareness thing. If you really take a
step back before you open your fat face and ask
yourself if what you're about to say makes any sense
whatsoever and is in any way applicable to the national conversation.
In politics, you might not do what Martin Sheen did.
(10:20):
But in that room of MSNBC people, it's just a
bit's a room full of white people who hate themselves.
They're just seething with rage for all things conservative and
of course Donald Trump. They needed that event yesterday to
convince themselves that things are still going bad under Trump.
Speaker 1 (10:39):
But here's a newsflash.
Speaker 2 (10:40):
Since the guy got into office, pretty much everything has
been going good.
Speaker 1 (10:45):
He knows what he's talking about. And that's where they
look like idiots.
Speaker 2 (10:49):
Inflation is down, border crossings are at an all time low.
The tariffs everybody screamed about didn't tank the economy. It's
up four thousand points since hitting the low the day
he announced them. Four thousand points. Guys, it's above forty
five thousand right now. Okay, world leaders, respect us. We've
ended eight wars. Things by and large are a lot
(11:12):
better under Donald Trump. So when you're Martin Sheen, and
you're talking to other people in that room. I'm sure
it felt good. I'm sure it felt good to have
the room laughing. And yeah, Marty, you tell him you'll
pretended to be president once, just like Biden.
Speaker 1 (11:26):
Go get them.
Speaker 2 (11:29):
But outside the room, okay, you're looking at everybody there
doing the Kumbaya thing and saying to yourself, they're crazy.
Speaker 1 (11:35):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (11:36):
Here he is when you talk about just the lack
of self awareness. Okay, here he is telling you. There's
no joy in Trump's cabinet room. Guys, if you've been
following these cabinet meetings, they televise them like they literally
will show you two hours of them telling jokes, commenting
on each other's comments. Everybody gives a little presentation. Marco
(11:59):
Room tells a joke about having too many jobs, you know,
Pete and the RFK start telling push up jokes. Trump
starts making fun of it. No one's ever had a
better time than this cabinet. And if you're paying attention,
you know that. If you're Martin Sheen and you're just
living in a pretend world, yeah, you show up and
you say something like this and think it actually makes sense.
Speaker 1 (12:19):
Here it is Clipten.
Speaker 6 (12:21):
When you look at this group of people at the
round table in the White House, the cabinet room, every
one of those people look across the table and they
do not see anyone who is better than they are.
They generally see a reflection of their worth selves.
Speaker 1 (12:41):
So there's no heroes in there.
Speaker 6 (12:43):
There's no music, there's no laughter, there's no self effacement,
there's no joy in that room. It smells of ego
and fear and false worship.
Speaker 1 (12:56):
Oh god, you can't just make up lies about people,
sure you, ken Peewee.
Speaker 2 (13:01):
And it's so embarrassing to me because if you look, actually,
he's like, there's no music, guys. Donald Trump actually installed
a sound system so he could play music throughout the
White House Martin wo and the guy's telling jokes. You're
having a good time all day. He basically got into
(13:23):
that event yesterday and gave them some chicken soup for
the loser's soul. The idea that the Trump Cabinet meetings,
or fear and ego and false worship, it's just like
made up stuff to make liberals feel better. But if
nothing else, if you're being objective, you should cheer the
fact that they're as transparent as they are, especially when
(13:46):
you consider that the last administration thought transparent was a
man who has a baby.
Speaker 1 (13:53):
Tackling issues of the day in an easy way. He's
all man. He's a big, strong looking guy.
Speaker 2 (14:00):
Merediths Fox across America with Jimmy Tayla Donald Trump bringing
peace to the Middle East. We've got a caller on
Holt who says he should try to do something even
more difficult and get Chicago under control.
Speaker 1 (14:12):
I don't even know if Trump can pull that off, but.
Speaker 2 (14:14):
Harold's on the line in Raleigh, North Carolina with his
next assignment, Harold Iman.
Speaker 5 (14:20):
Kudos to President Trump for bringing peace to the movie.
He's at least attempting to. But what he should do
now you want to see the Democrat acts in the tizzy.
Speaker 3 (14:27):
He should call He should have his State.
Speaker 5 (14:29):
Department people go to Chicago, sit down with these gang
leaders and try to have a summit, something that Obama
didn't do in eight years and over four thousand black
men and women were shot and killed. Yep, the mayor
of Chicago should sit down with these young men and
tell him to knock it off. Trump shouldn't have to
do it, but if you want to get them into tizzy.
Speaker 3 (14:47):
He should do that next.
Speaker 2 (14:48):
I would love that, you know, the way he did
the barbershop tour during the campaign. Yeah, yeah, he should
go into those communities because the only thing Obama's doing
in the black community right now is displacing them with
his big library. I mean, that's that's what's going on.
And what were drives me crazy, Harold, And you know
this is true. These politicians don't care about the lives
(15:11):
and it's more important to them to say crime is down,
Shut up Trump. This is a federal overach than it
is to actually do something about the lives. And that's
the part that drives me crazy.
Speaker 5 (15:21):
Well, gimme I worked in my PD for twenty years
and guess what. They've been fudging numbers from day one,
don't I wouldn't believe anything. If you control the numbers,
you can make the numbers the way you want them.
They've been fudging numbers for years and all these departments
are downgrading crimes to make themselves look good. The only
way get the only way to get promoted an NYPD
after the rank of captain is that you have to
(15:43):
get a command and quote unquote drive down crime.
Speaker 3 (15:47):
So you fudge the numbers.
Speaker 5 (15:48):
That's how you drive down crime.
Speaker 3 (15:51):
They've been doing it for years.
Speaker 2 (15:52):
But if you're actually out there just living in the
world where crime is either up or the same, the
numbers being down don't help anybody in the real world.
Speaker 1 (16:01):
That's what I mean. And I think that's the point
we're making here.
Speaker 5 (16:04):
That's and you know what, Jimmy, they never talk about
how many people don't report crimes.
Speaker 3 (16:08):
Yep, how many.
Speaker 5 (16:09):
People say, you know what Carl was broken into and
you know, I'm just gonna get it fixed and called
it day. I don't have time to go to the
D's office, go to the press and make a report,
and that God knows it seems like nobody wants to
make a report anymore.
Speaker 3 (16:21):
Yeah, and you know you ask the cop to make
a report.
Speaker 5 (16:24):
But like I said, I said, it's five years ago
when I called the White House and they only sent
one bustload of people to the mar Vinions. He needs
to go to Chicago or any of these cities where
you got these gangs and sit down with these young
men and try to knock it off. And they would
send the Democrats in a.
Speaker 1 (16:40):
Kissy, Yeah, they would.
Speaker 2 (16:41):
That would be the end that would be I got
a lot of meltdown clips to play today, But yes,
that would that would stack us for like a year.
Good stop, Harold, you still got the fastball man. Be well,
the great Harold. He's talking about Chicago. He's talking about
Barack Obama, who just had a really embarrassing turn on
(17:03):
Mark Maren's podcast yesterday. All right, it was the last
episode of this Mark Maron podcast, but it might have
been the last episode of Obama in terms of his
cultural relevance, because Obama sat there and tried to criticize
his own party. Hey we've been lecturing everybody else too much,
but spent the rest of the lecture the rest of
(17:25):
the podcast criticizing and lecturing everybody else. And it really is,
and it really does speak to the fact that Obama
is much worse at this than anyone realized. Because when
he was in president, the media didn't want to touch him.
Nobody wanted to give him a hot hard time, so
they let him develop a lot of bad habits, the
(17:45):
key one being a brazen lack of self awareness. Martin
Sheen and Barack Obama are the same.
Speaker 6 (17:50):
Like that.
Speaker 2 (17:51):
I'll explain how when I come back with a little
more analysis on Fox Across America. There is Box Across
the America with Jimmy salom Byron Donald's coming up in
this segment, but his opener is Charlemagne. If you listen
to me on w R seven ten, the Voice of
New York, it is an iHeart station. You know, they
(18:11):
have the Breakfast Club where Charlemagne holds court every morning
on the radio. And Charlemagne yesterday responded to President Trump
and the effective nature of his communication style. And it's
just so worth noting because this comes on a day
where I open the show with even Joe Scarborough going wow,
you know, Trump has a relationship in a way of
(18:33):
you know, pushing these dictators around that's unheard of in
American politics. It's actually impressive. And then Martin Sheen comes
riding in to be like Trump's bet at everything, and
a room full of Hollywood MSNBC fans are like, yeah,
it's bad, you guys. And then they one went home,
filled up their bathtubs, stuck their head underwater and screamed
because they hate themselves. Ah that whole thing. Okay, Well,
(18:58):
here is Charlemagne actually on the right side of the issue,
giving him credit clip twenty.
Speaker 7 (19:03):
Donald Trump shows me what's politically possible. Trump shows me
what presidents can do if they want to do it.
Donald Trump shows me what can be said if you
are willing to say it. It's not about what can't
be done, it's about who has the political will to
do it. I don't want to hear peep from Democrats
about nothing until they get the balls to say what's
really on their mind in regards to this country, in
this world. Trump doesn't care if it sounds ridiculous. Trump
(19:24):
doesn't care if it makes sense. It's no political correctness whatsoever.
As I've been saying for years, the language of politics
is dead and Donald.
Speaker 2 (19:33):
Trump killed it. And that as Charlemagne, and he's telling
me the truth. The people who work in establish ap
media were apoplectic when Trump came down the escalator in
twenty sixteen and communicated in a very unconventional way. And
they were like, Oh, this guy has never chance. This
is disqualifying rhetoric. We don't like the way he's talking
(19:55):
about the southern border. But the average American was like, Wow,
this is really authentic. This clearly wasn't filtered through a
focus group. He doesn't have some presidential speech writer involved.
This is a guy just freestyling. And I always tell
you that about Trump. If there are two types of comedians,
there are do your act comedians and there are crowd
work comedians. Crowd work comedians go on stage Don Rickles style,
(20:20):
look around the room, look at this guy, and just
go in. And yeah, they have opinions that are kind
of premeditated in their brain. But the point is you're
getting a live high wire act based on you know,
what the guy sees and observes in real time. Whereas
do your act comedians Jerry Seinfeld be a good example
of that. It's a guy's a brilliant writer, writes an
hour of material, shows up and does the hour of
(20:42):
material very rarely deviates. Trump is more of a freestyle
crowd work comedian, and audiences respond to it because it
doesn't sound contrived and fake. I said this the other
night on Fox New Saturday Night. I was playing a
clip where Trump was talking about how you know. I
said to this, one friend of mine is a very
unattractive guy. I said, you better hope this bill gets
(21:04):
passed or your taxes go up. Your wife will be
out of here. And I said listen. That's so unconventional,
but it's so effective, you know, because politicians used to
speak in this sweeping rhetoric that was pretend, you know, asked.
Speaker 1 (21:18):
Not what your country can do for you, but what
you can do.
Speaker 2 (21:22):
And then Trump shows up, but he's like, pass the
bill or you won't get laid and everybody's like what.
But at the same time, the people in a position
that pass the bill are like, ah, jeez, I wouldn't
want that to happen, so I'll pass the bill. He
speaks in an effective and authentic way. That's why he's
successful with voters, and that's why he is successful with
(21:44):
all of these world leaders. Believe me, when morning Joe
gets out of bed and says, well, Trump does something
we haven't seen any other American president do, and he's
saying it like it's a good thing, like that is.
And if you see something, say something moment, you know
they have those signs up. If you see something, say something,
if you see MSNBC praising Donald Trump, say something that's
(22:06):
not normal, you don't get a lot of that. That's
the thing, and that's why if you're really trying to
have an honest conversation about what kind of a world
we woke up in this morning. You know, we woke
up in a world where, you know, you have something
going on in the Middle East right now that you know,
decades and decades of American leadership didn't think was possible.
And that's the kind of game changer. That's the Trump thing.
(22:29):
That's what Charlomage was mentioning earlier. You know, if you
were Lawrence Taylor in the NFL, he would wreck the game. Okay,
you just you might sack the quarterback, might block a kick,
might stop the right. He's gonna wreck the game. That's
what Trump is doing. He's wrecking the game, okay, and
joining us.
Speaker 3 (22:44):
Now.
Speaker 1 (22:44):
Guy knows all too well about wrecking the game. Okay.
Speaker 2 (22:46):
It's gonna be the next governor of Florida. And he's
been wrecking at that hard in Congress. Byron Donald's is
here in the lt Jersey, Yo, BD.
Speaker 3 (22:54):
What's going on? Jimmy?
Speaker 1 (22:55):
Is Trump?
Speaker 2 (22:56):
I mean he is like he, I would say, is
the Lawrence Taylor of politics. But he's a much more
sober version of Lawrence Taylor than the OJS.
Speaker 3 (23:03):
Oh my gosh, yeah, he definitely is. I mean, look,
he I guess The right way to say it is, yeah,
he's an LT type, Like, whatever you're doing, you have
to game plan for him. You can forget about everybody
else in the field. You got a game plan for him.
And to be blunt, whatever game plan you put out
typically doesn't work. And that's because, Yeah, President Trump is
(23:23):
on orthodox, he thinks outside the box. He's been doing
the things that Americans really have been clamoring clamoring for
for forty years in the United States. And that goes
past party line. It's not just Republicans. I think Americans
have just been wanting a leader who's just gonna get
it done, find a way, no real excuses. You know,
you're gonna have to be authentic, original, think outside the box,
(23:44):
find new solutions. So much of Washington has been caught
up in the same echo chamber of thought, especially when
it comes to foreign policy. And that's why it was
not working until yesterday, because Donald Trump whipped the script.
He was using piece through strength, looking for an opportunity
to have a deal get done. But at the same time,
(24:04):
he wasn't gonna be a pushover for Hamas and for
the radicals in the Middle East. And once they knew
that crystal clear. The only possible landing was peace. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (24:12):
Amen, and it worked.
Speaker 2 (24:14):
It's we're talking to Byron Donald, superstar representative for the
Great State of Florida. I was watching yesterday while Trump
is taking a victory lap of the Middle East, and
as every world leader going like, this guy's amazing, this
is the best. I noticed Obama doing a podcast interview
with Mark Maron. Now it was the final episode of
Mark Maron's podcast. I felt like I was watching the
final episode of Barack Obama's relevance because he was criticizing
(24:37):
Trump and everything he's doing back here domestically in a
moment where like it is undeniable that yesterday was a
win for Trump.
Speaker 1 (24:45):
So you know how they use the phrase read the room.
Speaker 2 (24:47):
Is there an argument to be made that Obama isn't
even in the room right now, and part of him
might even just be bitter at the success of Donald Trump.
Speaker 3 (24:55):
Yeah, I think there's some of that. I mean, look,
it's not just what happened yesterday. Go back to the campaign.
You know, Kamala Harris was coming Kamala Harris. It doesn't
really matter. They're interchangeable. At this point, Barack Obama was
lecturing black men about how come they weren't showing up
for Kamala Harris.
Speaker 1 (25:12):
Yeah, he was lecturing.
Speaker 3 (25:13):
The reason why is because black men in America had
seen enough. They saw Democrat policy, they were living it.
It wasn't working. They wanted something different, and when Donald
Trump was president, he was putting money in their pockets.
I think, you know, yeah, if you're looking at the
two probably most consequential presidents in the last forty years,
well three if you include Ronald Reagan, it's Reagan, Obama,
(25:34):
and Trump, and so I think there's got to be
some rivalry personally there where Donald Trump is accomplishing the
things that everybody believed that Barack Obama was going to
be able to do, but he never did. Yeah. No,
So that's why you remember when he got the Nobel
Peace Prize when he just got elected as president, and
everybody's like, well, this is because of what he's going
(25:54):
to do, but he didn't do it. And so I
think the best thing would have been for Obama to
to just give you know, Donald Trump his flowers, give
Hi miss flowers, give Hi miss props. You know, he
did their job, and then you move on. But they
can't do that, because if you do that, then it
takes away a lot of the punch they put into
their messaging of trying to be against Donald Trump, and
(26:15):
that doesn't work politically for Democrats. So once again, Donald
Trump has put them into a very terrible place politically.
Speaker 2 (26:21):
It's so true. Give me this, we're talking to Byron Donald's.
I feel like, specifically as it pertains to the Middle East,
this is something everybody has tried to come at and
figure out forever, as you said earlier, and he kind
of flipped the script. I feel like there's some resentment
of Trump because it's like, look at it like a jar.
You know, when someone can't get the lid off a
jar and then somebody just comes in and grabs it
from an angle and takes it right off. Even though
(26:43):
you're happy the lid's off, you're still like, you know, what,
screw that guy. Do you think on some level a
lot of people feel that way towards him right now?
Speaker 3 (26:51):
Uh? Yeah, Jimmy Ill's to ask you, though I've been
seeing the pitches online. Your son is looking like a
stud football player. Does he make you does he make
you feel that way? Sometimes at home.
Speaker 1 (27:02):
Fire, coming in hot I'm glad you didn't open with that.
Speaker 2 (27:05):
This would be a straight street fight. This would be
a waffle house brawl right now. No, let me jump
in here, Okay. I my Lincoln is like a six'
five Of. Donna's he's in good, shape he looks. Good
he's obviously the better looking version of, me you know
WHAT i. MEAN i look like the behind the music
version of. Him like if he, developed if he developed
a substance abuse, problem let himself go and wound up in.
Speaker 1 (27:27):
Media i'm like the scary GEST christi.
Speaker 2 (27:29):
Futia but that being, said BECAUSE i can still take,
him you, know because he's only, sixteen AND i still
have old man's. Strength So i'm still in that sweet
spot where he has to respect me for a few more.
Years have any of your sons grown beyond your division
or are you still the leader in the?
Speaker 3 (27:43):
Clubhouse, jimmy let me let me foreshadow what's about to
happen for. You so my oldest son is now twenty.
Two he graduated. College he played four years at Holy
cross defensive. Tackle we're on, Vacation we're all in the
pool playing. Around i'm slamming all the kids Because i'm
dead AND i got old man. Strength he's TWENTY i
think at the, time twenty years. Old he waste locks,
(28:07):
me picks me up right out of the pool and
dumps me back to the pool full. Block Leslar souplex Released,
german And i'm, like oh my, GOSH i just got
manhandled by my. Son just Can't i'm. Shocked i'm obviously
uncomfortable with myself to talk about it. Now it's been
a couple of. Years have been able to get over.
It uh. Huh but, So, jimmy let me just foreshadow
(28:29):
that's what's.
Speaker 2 (28:30):
COMING i get, IT i accept, it and you know,
WHAT i look forward for a world where you, know
he has made that progress in his, life BUT i
would imagine it is.
Speaker 1 (28:42):
Humbling do you want me to make you feel, better
really quick.
Speaker 2 (28:44):
Though really? Good please do our mutual Friend Jim. Jordan,
okay we all get on fine With Jim. Jordan he
actually told me the saddest version of the story. Ever
he'll admit. This he said this on the air like five.
Times it happens Every. Thanksgiving he got benched as the
quarterback in his Family's thanksgiving football game like five years
ago because his kids had decided they were better throwing
(29:04):
out patterns and stuff like.
Speaker 1 (29:05):
That AND i, mean at least you were in the.
Speaker 2 (29:07):
Game, Okay jordan just got relegated To rake And leaves
and broadcasting his Own thanksgiving.
Speaker 1 (29:12):
Game don't you think that's? Worse that is that's.
Speaker 3 (29:15):
Bad but, look, man at the end of the, day
you know what we want more than, Anything we want our,
kids especially our. Sons we want them to be better than.
Us that's What that's what all dads. Want we want
them to be better than. Us, so you, KNOW i
feel For, jim but that's a good thing that he
got basically benched to put the third. String that's a
good thing because that means his, SON i, mean he did.
RIGHT i, mean he's raising good, kids you, Know AND
i got supplex doing the right.
Speaker 1 (29:36):
Thing he got me it, is.
Speaker 2 (29:38):
But, no it's it's, uh we got to call Him
Jim flacco now though he just keeps getting punted to another.
Speaker 3 (29:43):
One don't starting in the. League, still don't do.
Speaker 2 (29:48):
That start starting for The bengals is like being the
hottest girl on the.
Speaker 1 (29:52):
View all, right stay. Focused let me give you one.
More don't have to do.
Speaker 2 (29:57):
That you don't have to dignify that all, right give
me one more, though because THIS i do think comes
full circle with a discussion about our sons and prosperity
and everything like.
Speaker 1 (30:06):
THAT i do actually.
Speaker 2 (30:08):
THINK i started the show TODAY i played a clip
Where Joe scarborough actually had not acknowledged and admitted he,
Said Donald trump gets world, leaders specifically strong, men to
respect him in a way that nobody else. Does AND
i think it's because he is leaning Into american excellence
in a way that nobody else has in recent.
Speaker 1 (30:26):
Vintage does that?
Speaker 3 (30:27):
Square that's one hundred percent. Correct Donald trump is leaning
fully into peace through strength the way No american president
has done Since. Reagan and that's why if you look
at the Two american presidents in the modern era who
have the largest foreign policy, wins he's in The Middle,
east the tearing down of The Berlin. Wall what is?
(30:49):
It it Is american men who are, strong who believe
in the strength of our country and the greatness of
our country and the uniqueness of our. Country they don't
shy away from, It they stand on, it they lead with.
It and when you look around the, world other, countries,
yeah they envy us because we're the best country in the.
(31:09):
World that's the way it. Is whenever we try to
give up that, mantle that's when they think that they
can run a game on. Us but when we stand
firm on that, mantle and we not only acknowledge, it
but we read with it with our tests and with
our thoughts and with our words and our, Actions america
can't be beat a.
Speaker 2 (31:27):
Period, no everybody stood and applauded in the control. Room
apparently the only people who can be beat are you
in the. Pool and that's, fine that's.
Speaker 3 (31:34):
Fine may you know?
Speaker 1 (31:38):
What call?
Speaker 3 (31:39):
Me when your son supplexes, You jimmy that we're gonna, CALL.
Speaker 1 (31:41):
I won't be able to. Dial i'm hanging. Up good, stuff,
man you're the.
Speaker 2 (31:45):
Best they date the Great Byron, donald's and he's telling
you the. Truth there comes a moment in every parent's
life where your kid eclipses you. Athletically me And lincoln
have very spirited basketball. Game it's not a great basketball.
PLAYER i can still beat him most. Games he beats
me in a home run derby because he's Like Aaron.
Judge he has like a big six.' five he's a big.
Loopy swing he hits a lot of, home runs consistently.
(32:07):
Beats me usually goes, seven games but he is consistently the.
Better team that, being Said like jenny's dad shows up to,
the house arm wrestles him and still beats him because
he has, you know old, man STRENGTH and i still
have a little more. Of that the problem becomes with
your kid at. This age it eventually just becomes like a.
Stamina issue you Know what. I'm saying he's just like.
(32:27):
The fight if, the fight you get your hands, on
him you can man handle. The guy but if the
fight goes on four or, five minutes now you're over
there breathing with.
Speaker 1 (32:33):
Your hands on top of.
Speaker 2 (32:34):
Your head so shout Out To byron donalds and any
man confident enough in his masculinity to admit he's now
the number two ranked fighter in.
Speaker 1 (32:42):
The house, it's like, you know they say real men.
Speaker 2 (32:44):
Wear pink he is the intellectual edition of real men.
Wear pink so we'll give. HIM that i have not
had to put on my, pink yet. JUST yet i
am still in.
Speaker 1 (32:55):
The lead shut. Your mouth it's the number one children
show in. The country he's a lot better at radio
than he is being.
Speaker 5 (33:04):
A Dado across America With, jimmy.
Speaker 2 (33:09):
Phalo There is Fox across america with your, Main Man.
JIMMY phyla a lot going. On Today ted nugent joining
Us From ted quarters a little bit, later on WHICH.
Speaker 1 (33:22):
Means i can take the.
Speaker 2 (33:23):
Segment off he's like an absolute radio television wind.
Speaker 1 (33:26):
Up toy he Got The MotorCity madman on.
Speaker 2 (33:28):
The phone you just get out of, the way starts
singing about the animals mating when he plays.
Speaker 1 (33:32):
His guitar you took about a guy who was high.
Speaker 2 (33:35):
On Life Because, ted nugent if you listen to, the
interview you'd, Be, LIKE wow i want what, he's smoking
but he's not smoking anything besides the meat that he
kills with.
Speaker 1 (33:42):
His crossbow We'll Talk.
Speaker 2 (33:44):
Uncle ted we're gonna Talk about obama Because the obama.
Interviewed yesterday if you saw him On With, mark maren that.
WAS embarrassing i said this Earlier To byron donald's it
was the last Episode Of. Mark maron but in terms
Of influence, OBAMA man i don't think there's ever been
a less consequential post Presidency. Like biden's will go down.
(34:06):
As Such but biden's post presidential legacy began.
Speaker 1 (34:10):
The day he got.
Speaker 2 (34:11):
INTO office, i mean no one had thought he was
ever running, the country, you know when you Saw The
odo pan scandal and you've heard all the revelations from
the staffers and stuff. Like That whereas obama left office
at such a young age that, in theory, You're, like
wow this guy is going to be the voice of
politics for the next forty or. Fifty years nobody cares what.
He says, you know as it Pertained, to kamala he
(34:33):
alienated the. BLACK vote, I mean trump got the highest
percentage Of the black vote Since any Republican Since. Gerald ford,
that's CRAZY and i don't doubt part of that was
the fact that Guys Like charles barkley started speaking out
about How the democrats had failed the. Black community i've
played you this clip, a lot but this Is when
barkley started the Conversation when biden was still on.
Speaker 8 (34:52):
The ticket THE reason i Think The democratic party Missed a.
Biden president Biden's losing, BLACK vosays i only care about.
Black people every. Four years they come into our neighborhoods
and say we're gonna make, Stuff better we're gonna, do this,
do this, do this and then. Following us black people
are like. Hell man other than not Bility At. Dunkle
(35:13):
basketball all my neighborshoods are still, the same our schools
are still.
Speaker 2 (35:18):
THE same, i Mean That's charles barkley saying That About
joe biden And The.
Speaker 1 (35:23):
Democrat party, Come man and.
Speaker 2 (35:25):
That started a conversation that culminated with obviously Guys Like
byron donald's Getting, on trump more influential pro athletes and
stuff jumping in and, being, like yeah what do we
have to show Up? Voting democrat and they kind of
swung that zeitgeist so much so That when obama, jumped
in it.
Speaker 1 (35:40):
Was like black men better show Up.
Speaker 2 (35:41):
For kamala they, were, Like Dude barack obama is Proof
that twitter needs a button Called Who? Asked you because
nobody cares what the guy says anymore because he's just
so out of touch with day, to Day.
Speaker 1 (35:55):
Everyday americans that's. The reality they're, white folks and then, they're,
ignorant mother like this thing you. Played out this has
been a podcast from W o r
