Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is another jubile phone prank weekday mornings on the
twenties on Hello. Hi, this is pe Dakin's assistant to
the president of the Homeaners Association. I was looking for Kim.
Speaker 2 (00:22):
This is she.
Speaker 1 (00:23):
Howdy, Kim, how are you today?
Speaker 2 (00:26):
I'm all right. What's the reason for the call?
Speaker 1 (00:29):
Well, I don't know if you heard, but I am
the assistant to the president of the homeowners Association here
and I'm currently on your property because I noticed some
things while I was headed out the door today and
I needed to discuss them with you. Quite a few violations.
Speaker 2 (00:44):
You're on my property, Oh my property?
Speaker 1 (00:47):
I mean, well, what that means is that your house
would be the property and I am currently.
Speaker 2 (00:52):
On okay, right, what's the problem.
Speaker 1 (00:56):
Well, we started decorating for Halloween and.
Speaker 2 (00:59):
We yepd mm hmmmmm. Why is that a problem that
we decorated our house for Halloween.
Speaker 1 (01:08):
Well, it's not so much of a problem, is it,
because you did do it in the right time frame.
But it is the decorations that are the problem. Let's
start with the pumpkin infractions.
Speaker 2 (01:18):
What do you mean infractions? What are you even talking?
Speaker 1 (01:20):
Quite a few punkin infractions?
Speaker 2 (01:23):
Well, First of all, they're called pumpkins.
Speaker 1 (01:25):
Uh, that's what I said.
Speaker 2 (01:26):
But right, okay, sure, but what's the infraction.
Speaker 1 (01:30):
Well, let's just start with your pumpkins. We didn't get
any notice about this, okay, Well, you do have guidelines
from us that you get every single year, and it's
not my fault if you didn't read them. So I
did a walk through, did to walk through? Did a
walk through? Did a walk through of your decorations? And
your punkins need to be three feet from any walkways.
(01:53):
I got out my measuring tape this morning.
Speaker 2 (01:55):
And why why is the question? Why do they have
to be three feet from any.
Speaker 1 (01:59):
Walking Because it is our rule. It's for safety reasons.
And your pumpkins are two feet nine inches from the walkway,
So that is not three feet, is it? And that's
a five hundred dollars fine per inch? And the punkins
are also carved. You also carved the pumpkins.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
Yeah, that's what people do or not.
Speaker 1 (02:19):
I don't know if you haven't looked around the community,
but we do not carve punkins here anymore. It's a
fire hazard because people put.
Speaker 2 (02:26):
Plenty of my neighbors have their pumpkins.
Speaker 1 (02:28):
Oh and I'll be making my rounds to them as well,
because I am shocked at the amount of punkins that
are carved in this neighborhood. And we cannot have that because.
Speaker 2 (02:36):
Because it's literally haw Halloween.
Speaker 1 (02:38):
Bro putting a candle in those to light them up
as a fire hazard, and it also promotes punkin violence
and we do not promote that here in the because
you're taking a knife and cutting the punkin.
Speaker 2 (02:50):
For our own amasa pumpkin.
Speaker 1 (02:53):
Yes it's a punk you.
Speaker 2 (02:55):
Mpki, and it's called a pump punkin.
Speaker 1 (02:58):
Yes, you're done walk.
Speaker 2 (03:00):
Around on people's properties and throw fines all over the place.
You might want to know how to spell and pronounce
the word.
Speaker 1 (03:06):
I do know.
Speaker 2 (03:06):
Hell, they can't be hurt by knives.
Speaker 1 (03:08):
They are gores.
Speaker 2 (03:10):
Promote any kind of violence.
Speaker 1 (03:11):
Well, as far as we're concerned at the Comet Association,
punkins have feelings too, and we do not want our
residents cutting punkins.
Speaker 2 (03:20):
You, sir, are a dip. Yeah, all right, I.
Speaker 1 (03:25):
Could find you, I guess for foul language, but I'm
not going to do that. I'm just going to go
ahead and stick with the punkin.
Speaker 2 (03:29):
Fine, don't do that.
Speaker 1 (03:30):
I'm gonna stick with h.
Speaker 2 (03:33):
Okay, you know what. I'm not getting a fine. That's it,
and stop saying punkins.
Speaker 1 (03:38):
It's not a punk Well, I don't know what else
I should call them?
Speaker 2 (03:41):
P and p o K I n s.
Speaker 1 (03:43):
Pumpkins punkins. They're pumpkins punkins.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
You're worried about their feelings, then you know how.
Speaker 1 (03:47):
To say it, pundin pumpkins punkins. Enough punkins? Yes, no, yes,
oh my.
Speaker 2 (03:54):
God, I've literally I've had it up here. They're called
pumpkins punkins. I'm not paying a fine and that's probably
not legal, so go learn how to say pumpkin punkin.
Speaker 1 (04:04):
No pumpkin, pumpkin, pumpkin. All right, well, then I'll let
you know. This is actually Jubil from The Jubil Show
doing a phone prank on you and your husband. Say
you up what it's a joke.
Speaker 2 (04:16):
Say my god, I'm going to literally kill him.
Speaker 1 (04:19):
He said, you just decorated your house for Halloween, and
you guys have a homeowners association. You wanted to mess
with you?
Speaker 2 (04:27):
Oh my gosh, if you would have said punkin one
more time, I was probably gonna have a heard.
Speaker 1 (04:34):
We thought every morning with a jew bull phone pranks
weekday Mornings on the twenties. This is another Jubile phone
prank weekday Mornings on the twenties only on ninety six seven.
Kiss than.
Speaker 2 (04:51):
Hi.
Speaker 1 (04:51):
This is Madison Madison. Hi, this is Pete Eakins. I
don't think we've met, but I'm on the Corporate HR
team and i just want to give you a call
for a few minutes go over some things you have time.
Speaker 3 (05:02):
Oh yeah, yeah, sure, what's going on?
Speaker 1 (05:05):
Well, I'm calling everybody today to inform them of some
fun changes that we're going to be doing for the
rest of the month of October for Halloween, and I'm
starting with you. All right, okay, Well, we figured we'd
really get into the holiday spirit this year. Spirits. That's
not a Halloween type word, isn't it.
Speaker 3 (05:26):
Yeah, sure, I guess it is.
Speaker 1 (05:28):
Yeah, So I'll just cut right to it. So for
the rest of the month of October, we're going to
be doing some fun Halloween things. And the first order
of business that I'd like to talk to you about
is we're going to be switching to vampire hours for
the next vampire hours. Yes, vampire hours. That means we'll
be working in the office now, not the normal time
that you're working, you know from eight to five. The
(05:51):
vampire hours are going to be from eleven pm to
seven am, So we'll all be working at those hours
for the rest of the month.
Speaker 3 (05:57):
Eleven pm to seven am.
Speaker 1 (05:59):
Yeah, eleven pm office, Yes, and we're going to be
working in the dark by candlelight. Isn't that spooky and fun? No?
Speaker 2 (06:09):
It's really not. Okay, what is going on?
Speaker 3 (06:12):
Why are we doing candle light and graveyard shift for Halloween?
Speaker 1 (06:16):
I didn't even think about it being called the graveyard shift.
That's extra spooky. I'm going to add that in my
next phone calls. But yes, vampire hours. Nobody will be
allowed in the office during normal business hours.
Speaker 3 (06:28):
How are we going to get any of our work done?
I do calls, I have to call other businesses. They're
not going to be open at those times.
Speaker 1 (06:35):
Well maybe you can call on your own time during
the day if you need to. But from eleven am
to seven am, we're going to work like vampires. Also
a fun little part of that at midnight we all
get to stop for an hour and do what We're
all going to go outside as a group, a little
team building and howl at the moon for a while,
like werewolves.
Speaker 3 (06:54):
Oh no, no, no, you're joking.
Speaker 1 (07:01):
I knew.
Speaker 2 (07:03):
Is this fun for anyone?
Speaker 3 (07:05):
What are we doing?
Speaker 1 (07:06):
When's the last time you howled at the moon with
the team at work or anybody? Really? Never?
Speaker 2 (07:12):
Not once?
Speaker 3 (07:12):
And I don't plan on it.
Speaker 1 (07:14):
Okay, well, all right, you know what, I'll just be
straight with you here. So the company has run into
a little bit of a financial issue and we're trying
to cut some budget and instead of letting people go,
we're just hoping to save some money on electricity by
having everybody work at night by candlelight. But we're making
it fun Halloween themed.
Speaker 2 (07:36):
This is ridiculous.
Speaker 3 (07:36):
I mean, like, okay, how do I put in my
two weeks? I'm going to go ahead and do that
now because this is I'm not willing to do this.
Speaker 1 (07:43):
All right, Well, it's unfortunate, but I will have to
set up a meeting so you can officially put in
your notice.
Speaker 3 (07:49):
You know what, Like, I know what you guys are doing.
You're trying to get people to quit by making them
work from eleven to seven and making them work by candlelight.
Speaker 2 (07:56):
Do stupid halloween stop.
Speaker 3 (07:58):
I can't believe that you guys would do this I'm
not going to quit just because you're trying.
Speaker 1 (08:01):
To make me do this, all right. It's not about
making people quit. It's about the Halloween spirit.
Speaker 3 (08:08):
It's the Halloween spirit. This is not what it's about. Okay,
you guys are just trying to manipulate people into leaving
the company.
Speaker 1 (08:13):
I'll work.
Speaker 3 (08:14):
I will work all night to.
Speaker 2 (08:16):
Keep this job.
Speaker 3 (08:16):
I Am not going to.
Speaker 1 (08:17):
Be I'm not going to great. So you're on board. Okay, Well,
I can't wait to hell at the Moon with you
and one last thing, one last thing. Because of the
budgetary issues we will be withholding paychecks. But on the
last day of the month, we're holding a costume contest
and whoever wins gets their paycheck. So get thinking about
your costume right now.
Speaker 3 (08:37):
Okay, no way, I am quitting.
Speaker 1 (08:38):
I am filing a laws dude. This is ridiculous.
Speaker 3 (08:41):
I am taking legal action against you.
Speaker 1 (08:42):
Guys.
Speaker 3 (08:43):
You can take your Halloween fun and shove.
Speaker 1 (08:45):
I quit, all right. Then I'll just let you know
that this is actually Jewbil from the Jebel Show doing
a phone prank on you and your coworker Stacey.
Speaker 2 (08:51):
Say you up, Oh my gosh, are you serious?
Speaker 1 (08:56):
She said that? Oh my God, your company's been doing
all kinds of crazy Halloween stuff and wanted to mess
with you.
Speaker 3 (09:02):
Oh my gosh, I can't believe they'd be asking me
to go howl at the boom with my coworkers. Oh
my god.
Speaker 1 (09:10):
We thought that every morning with a jubole phone pranks
weekday mornings on the twenties,
